A/N: Short chapter but I wanted to let those who like this fic know that I'd love to post more chapters and will when I can (I'm just lacking in ideas, so I'm going to try and use suggestions I see in reviews or when something hits me-like this chapter-and yes, it's another star one, so not really original but it's something). I'll also do a Sesshomaru and co running into Inuyasha and co when I'm inspired about what that would entail.

Rin was singing softly to herself as she worked on making a flower crown out of flowers that she had located. It was well into the night, but the young girl wasn't sleepy yet, and as there was a still a fire going, she decided to wait up for Sesshomaru to return. The demon lord had gone off earlier in the day to scout out something ahead of their path, and Jaken was being mum on what it was about.
Rin didn't mind, so long as Sesshomaru came back.
It was a bright, clear night, and when Rin looked up, the stars were bright in the sky, the moon spectacular in its near fullness.
It was beautiful.
Rin left the flowers alone, as she had finished, and stared up at the sky, having stopped singing as soon as she was mesmerized by the night sky. With a delighted smile, Rin got up and ran over to Jaken. "Master Jaken! Master Jaken! Did you see the sky tonight?" Rin stopped short of the imp, and giggled when she saw that Jaken was fast asleep, head resting against his propped up Two-face staff. The fire was dwindling down at that point, so Rin dutifully tugged Jaken further away, as some of the embers had begun to get a bit close.
Seeing that she wasn't about to wake Jaken, Rin merely settled the small flower crown over Jaken's head, before retreating a short distance over to Ah-Un, and clambered, with some difficulty, onto the two headed dragon's back. Rin urged the dragon into the sky, whooping from the sheer enjoyment of flying, albeit low, in a clear, starry night.
Rin was't sure how long she was being flown around in a circle above camp by Ah-Un, but the young girl soon spotted something flying in her direction from the where the moon hung low in the sky.
Sesshomaru was returning, and the moon's glow back-lit his features, making the demon lord appear more regal than usual.
Rin waved to him. "Welcome back, Lord Sesshomaru!"
Ah-Un and Sesshomaru ended up on the ground around the same time, and Rin offered another smile as Sesshomaru walked by to stare down silently at Jaken.
Rin withheld a giggle at the sight of Sesshomaru shifting his head to the side ever so slightly, as if contemplating why the imp had a flower crown on.
Apparently deciding it did not concern him, Sesshomaru walked a short distance and then came to a halt, head tilted back ever so slightly to presumably stare up at the starry night sky.
Rin joined him, and the two stared up at the starry night sky in silence, until the young girl started singing softly to herself again.
Sesshomaru gave no outward reaction that he was aware of the girl next to him, but Rin liked to think that the demon lord didn't mind the company all the same.
After all, when Sesshomaru eventually settled on a large rock, he didn't outwardly react to Rin setting on his furred pelt where it now rested on the ground.
