Chapter 25
(Vaders Palace, Sometime later)
After Vader had introduced the Noghri to Leia, she had been very apprehensive about the odd looking, slightly short aliens. She had also been put off balance by the seeming awkwardness and uneasiness that surrounded Vader when he had come to talk to her, and introduce her bodyguards. Which she hadn't even bothered protesting against. Figuring it was going to happen whether she liked it or not. Since then she and Viathan had just spent a while chatting. Not about much. Mostly about what she tended to do on Alderaan to ease away boredom. She had been prone to the good natured prank from time to time. Something Bail had been highly against, but Leia found herself rather rebellious as a royal of Alderaan, and though she had learned quickly how to act, she had to admit she always felt out of place, and lonely on Alderaan. Not to say things had magically gotten better on Coruscant and being with Vader but Leia did find the excitement of recent life to be kind of endearing and attractive to her natural senses. Especially as she became more and more open to the Force.
She and Viathan had once more retreated to the same training room that had occupied the other night for a little bit of practice, and only the Noghri were shadowing them in quiet observation. They had stayed by the entryway of the training room and watched as she and Viathan walked to the center and he began once more instructing her.
"So, I want to show you a trick in the Force that is considered exclusive in the Force to the dark side, but in reality can be used by either side. However the light side of the Force and similarly the Jedi consider it too dangerous and dark a tactic to use." Viathan said grabbing her attention and she watched quite eagerly as Viathan straightened his back and did a few stretching moves to ease his body.
Extending both hands out and extending his fingers out, a sudden and blinding stream of lightning came forth from his finger tips and Leia took in an involuntary gasp at the sight. The blue brilliant streams flowed in waves and Viathan sent them into an empty and unoccupied area of the training room before he curled his fingers inwards and suddenly forced the lightning to swirl and crack about his hands as he balled them into fists and stopped the lightning as a smile came across his face.
"How was that?"
"That was amazing!" She immediately answered as she took a step forward with eagerness in her voice and step.
"When do I get to learn how to do that huh?" She said in an accusing voice that was more jokingly then serious. In return he shrugged.
"I could teach you, but it takes time. You wouldn't believe how hard it was for me to learn how to send lightning out of my fingertips, let alone control it. I shocked myself a few times, and believe me it hurt." He said with a wink, and caused her to giggle.
"I can imagine! But, I'm a big girl, so give me a shot!" She demanded and Viathan after a moment of uncertainty relented, and showed her a stance to start out with though it wouldn't be necessary once she learned to adequately control the lightning.
"Okay, now extend either one or both hands out, as well as your finger. Now for you I would recommend closing your eyes, but if you wish to see your work you'll have to keep them open."
"Okay." She said with a nod, and Viathan could feel the excitement bursting off her.
"Alright. As usual you need to concentrate on your emotions. Don't hold them back. Focus on your anger, your fears, your sadness, all the emotions you feel most intensely are the ones that will lead you down the path to greater power. Of this I can assure you."
She nodded a curt nod again and narrowed here eyes in focus as Viathan stood to her side watched and waited as nothing happened for a while.
She sighed in frustration but didn't ask for help. A few more moments passed, and Viathan merely stood and waited. Leia then growled as her annoyance grew.
"Nothing's happening." Viathan nodded as he could clearly see that.
"Ah, but you are growing frustrated. Despite what you may think that is a good thing. Use your frustration, your anger and even impatience. Fuel for your power these emotions can be, and the more you tap into them and draw from the easier to recall them it will be for you when you get older and more powerful in the Force." Viathan instructed and Leia nodded once more before huffing out a loud sigh.
Her eyes were narrowed in concentration and Viathan could feel it and was tempted to encourage her, but was worried that he could inadvertently break her concentration. Her power in the Force was something to truly be in awe of. It bristled and grew in silence and grew within her, as she beckoned it forward and fueled it with the raw and grand power of the dark side of the Force. Then in a flash she took in a quick intake of breath and out shot a massive stream of lightning that illuminated the entire room and forced the Noghri to go wide eyed with awe at the great burst of energy and power, and she quickly curled her fingers and ended the stream as quickly as she created it.
She was breathing in a slightly ragged manner as she wasn't fully prepared at the burst of energy that she had felt. The whispers and raw feeling of the dark side probably was a shock to her system as well, as she seemed once more very unsure about what she had just done like she looked back on Alderaan when she first released the dark side during their initial duel.
"Feeling the Force really clearly again?" Viathan asked though he already figured that was the case, and Leia nodded with a far away look in her eyes again.
"Focus now." He instructed. "Release the emotion. Stop focusing on it and allow the darkness, the raw feelings to recede and to be able to be drawn upon for later." Viathan said laying a hand on her shoulder, as Viathan remembered his first true releases of pure dark side energies. They are tempting and powerful experiences. They crawled along your spine and penetrated your very core. They did make those who used the dark side tremble at the feelings and the darkness and anger, the rage would remain and actually begin to cause pain if one were not allowed to release that emotion in some way. So Viathan had been taught to force it down. To bottle the emotions and to release them in full force and fury at a later time. That's why he was telling Leia to do the same, because he could see that she was struggling to contain her power, indeed she could not see the small blotches of yellow that flickered across her eyes, and Viathan did not think she was open enough to be told either.
"It's too intense." She said in another shuddering breath and tried to steady herself. Viathan nodded.
"I know. I remembered my first experience using my emotions to fuel the Force. It can be draining but also a very opening experience into the very heart of the Force. The Jedi are afraid of the dark side for this reason, They fear those with the ability and the will to enter into the dark side to use their emotions and release their feelings in a constructive and empowering way." Leia swallowed and nodded as she shook off the last bit of odd feelings that plagued her. She did have to admit though, using the dark side to release and create lightning had been….exhilarating!
"How do you get more control of yourself then? I mean I want to be able to do the things you do, but you obviously have more control. So how do you do it?"
"A lot of practice sadly. For those who are impatient however, new opportunities arise." Viathan informed much to her intrigue, and excitement.
"So? How?!"
"Calm down, calm down." Viathan said holding up a hand. "Before you can control these things you should begin not only learning to meditate more," She immediately groaned in protest but he ignored her. "And you can also use your lightsaber training as a focus for your power. My master….my old one I mean showed me that through combat. Through the bloodlust of fighting and the raw intensity of kill or be killed situations the Force manifests itself in ways that go towards self preservation and greatly bolster your strength and can open you up to a deeper understanding of the Force."
Viathan placed in her hand one of his lightsabers and she immediately cocked a brow.
"Uh, do you intend to kill me?"
"No of course not." He responded allowing his cloak to slide off his shoulders and fall to the floor, as he grabbed his other saber.
"I mean to Force you into a situation in which you must concentrate if you are to stand a chance. Otherwise I'll just keep forcing you to the ground and disarmed."
"Wonderful, sounds like fun." Sarcasm was clear in her voice, but she nonetheless stretched out her arm that held his extra saber.
"Come now Leia, I swear I'm not gonna kill you. Only rough you up a bit."
"Oh that makes me feel so much better!" She said after a snort that was rather un-ladylike.
"You better pray you don't leave a mark or Vader will have your hide."
"Thanks for the heads up." Viathan said after a quick grimace at the prospect of having to explain a bruise on Leia to the intimidating dark lord.
"Alright, ready yourself Leia." He said and activated his saber, and the crimson blade came forth and he fell into his Niman stance followed by his favoring of the mixed in Ataru stance. Leia on the other hand was still learning, so she had no real stance. Rather she had pure instincts alone to guide her. Something many Sith had to do in order to survive, and indeed many Sith didn't even adhere to a stance created by the old orders, and simply had their own personalized stances completely unique to them.
So she activated her saber, provided to her by Viathan and clutched it with both hands out in front of her, and narrowed her eyes in concentration once more.
Without another word Viathan lunged at her and brought his saber down from overhead, and she met it with an angled saber, and easily blocked him. Viathan swung off their connected sabers and brought an underhand slash and was blocked again. Only this time he forced his saber forward nearly hitting her leg, and forcing her to throw his saber downwards and back off with a look of shock on her face, but Viathan merely smiled and pressed his attack.
A succession of flurries aimed at her sides were met with sluggish blocks by Leia as she desperately tried to track his movements with her eyes. He slammed into her defenses harder and harder forcing the sabers to clash loudly and spark at the impacts.
Spinning around he brought his saber onto her saber and she angled her saber downwards and caught his attack. She now had the advantage and threw him off, and arched a slash at his midsection and forced him to jump back to escape the move.
A momentary pause saw him look at her surprised as she cast him a prideful grin, and he inclined his head before spinning his saber to his sides and re-readied himself. An unsaid taunt went between them and Leia threw her saber down to her side and as the tip of the saber nearly touched the floor she charged forward, and with a heavy underhanded attack aimed in an upwards slash she attack from right to left, and Viathan caught he saber but his saber was forced over his shoulder to his right with her angled attack, and as he sidestepped her she spun around and repeated the attack. Only now that attack came from the left up towards the right and forced his saber again over his left shoulder now, and once more he sidestepped.
She suddenly spun and he jumped back but threw his saber out to meet her attack and force them into a standoff.
"Not bad." He said cocking his head to the side, and she beamed with pride.
"Getting too good for you?"
"Not by a long shot milady."
Shoving his saber up and throwing her back he brought his saber down over his shoulder and forced it down before launching a kick into her side and she hissed in pain and jerked to the side away from his kick as he pressed an attack that she struggled to hold off. A quick succession of flurries were thrown at her by Viathan who kept attempting to confuse her with attacks angled at her left then right then left and over and over again. Each time he felt her strength waver as she gritted her teeth and met him.
In retaliation she released a sound, or a howl if you will of annoyance, and launched her own flurries and attempted to break his defenses. He held her in place, but then she caught him off guard as she slashed left and he met her saber, she instinctively extended her left hand and a powerful blast of Force telekinetic energy flowed out of her and slammed into Viathan who only had a minute to go wide eyed before he was thrown across the room.
He landed on his back as she grabbed her hilt with both hands again and slowly approached him as he jumped back up, and called on his Ataru training as he could sense the primal instincts of the Force were now taking root in the princess as she fought him. Leaping forward in a jump he slashed down at her and she met him and followed his saber as he jumped over her and landed behind her where eh flew into a very acrobatic flurry of feints and parries to throw her off. Throwing his saber into the air Viathan extended both hands and sent his own wave into her forcing her to clutch her saber and close her eyes as seemingly a massive gust slammed into her. Meanwhile, Viathan grabbed his falling saber and jumped at her, but to his surprise, her eyes still close, she rolled away and slashed upwards and caught his saber completely at a safe distance.
She forced his saber up and sent a series of hard and Force fueled attacks his way all of the aimed at breaking his flanks and crushing his defenses. The more she got aggressive the more Viathan got serious. So as she attack he purposely dropped and swept a leg at her and forced her to fall backwards, and he leapt up and brought down a series of overhead attacks at her lying figure. She brought her saber up in a horizontal block and met his attacks even though they were so heavy that her saber nearly bounced from the attacks into her body.
She rolled away as he brought another slash down and got to a knee before he aimed at her again. She adjusted herself and met his horizontal attack with her saber angled diagonally, and when they connected she slid her saber down his towards his mid section forcing him away, and allowing her to stand fully back up and bring her saber back out before herself. He rolled his shoulders as they allowed each other a quick reprieve. Then he swung his saber behind himself and ran at her, and as he neared he swung it back around in a fierce midsection attack that she blocked and he used that connection to throw himself off the ground and connect another kick into her left side while she blocked his saber on her right. Only she again sent a wave of energy at him forcing him to fall back, but her rolled and ended up only kneeled down, as she brought a couple of low swings down on him, before he sidestepped and rolled, allowing himself to stand again.
Leia grinned as Viathan could feel the Force bristle about her again and she lunged at him connecting a fierce set of uncoordinated strikes at his left then right then a swinging attack, then an over head smash. Followed by arched under strikes and over the shoulder diagonal slashes! Viathan allowed himself to be forced back although her unique set of attacks threw him for a loop, as he decided he needed to force a stand off, and met her saber and forced it down. Allowing him the opportunity to grab her right arm and twist it off the saber hilt causing her to cry out in pain. Silently hoping the Noghri didn't think he would or was really hurting her, Viathan threw her right arm off and sent a hard booted kick into her left arm and she cried in pain again as she lost grip of the saber, and letting go of her, he scooped it up and twirled himself into a Jar'kai stance. With one saber over his head aimed at her, and another horizontally held across his midsection as he angled himself into a lower standing stance and smiled triumphantly at her.
She was once more panting and was covered in sweat as she looked a little bewildered at the suddenness of his disarmament move.
"No fair! You're too fast." She said while still getting control over her breathing, and he smiled as he deactivated his sabers and stood back up to his regular height.
"I am just more trained. I have been doing this for years remember milady." he said smilingly before bowing to her dramatically.
"You did exceptional for a beginner however!" With honesty he said and she beamed again.
"Really? You think so?"
"I know so!" He declared and closed the distance between them, and placed a hand on her shoulder again. "Trust me when I say that you did very well. Did you not feel the flow of the Force? The primal and instinctual whispers on what you needed to do to survive?" She nodded quickly.
"Yes it was very clear! I could feel the Force flow through me. My arms moved almost on their own, as I….uh, I guess sensed your next moves."
"That is very promising then!" He said happily.
"In the future, and when you're in future real life danger your senses will be the most key thing you need to rely on. Your eyes will and can deceive you, Leia. Trust in instinct and feelings, your gut if you will. The eyes can be good for many things, but when using the Force not so much."
"I'll keep that in mind, and beat you next time." She said with a smile and wink, and Viathan chuckled. "Very well milady." he said and looked over to see the Noghri hadn't moved, and he assumed they must have assessed him as not being a threat, and for that he was thankful. For Viathan knew of the deadliness of Noghri on a mission, and he didn't want to face them without adequate preparation or the ability to solely focus on them.
"Well it's now getting late, and I think it's time for me to get some sleep before my master needs me for some important task." Viathan said, and Leia agreed.
"The training loosened me up a bit thankfully." the girl said as she looked down at her outfit however she grimaced.
"Though…I could use a freshening up."
Viathan inclined his head in agreement. "As could I. So I best be getting to that." He said backing away towards the entrance to the room as she followed.
"Until tomorrow milady." He said bowing as he exited the room followed by the princess and her very quiet Noghri guards.
She said her goodbyes and the two parted for the night, for tomorrow would bring about great changes.
(Manaan)
The small orbital station that had been in question had fallen within moments! The marine units of the Imperial-turned rebel forces of the Tarisian fleet had boarded the station under the guise of having injured units in need of transfer to the stations medical facilities. In the shuttles of course had been several marine task squads who had secured and jammed the stations ability to communicate once onboard. Prisoners were taken, and few causalities reported Kellia felt giddy with excitement. She felt the excitement and adrenaline once more pound through her as the fleets shuttles descended onto Ahto City. After the first few shuttle landed and droids came out immediately blasting all enemy combatants and security forces, anti-air guns finally got the picture and began firing into the descending air units.
Allied TIE bombers were busy at work destroying Imperial emplacements and leading a way for the URM allied forces to land in the city more securely as the Imperials began activating the planetary shield to deny any orbital attacks by URM forces. Gelshrik had already confirmed that Imperial underwater bases had fallen under siege of his forces and were putting up a hard room by room fight for the Selkath rebellion, but all of Manaan flew into a frenzy of anti-Imperial sentiment as the URM descended down upon them and the local Holonet had been flooded with a URM message that repeated to all on Manaan of the URM's friendship to Manaan and the Selkath peoples.
It was an odd thing to see the droid armies of the once feared CIS treated as liberators, but Kellia had to remind herself many who saw the Old Republic as corrupt had seen them that way before during the war. Only now she wasn't rebuilding the CIS, but moving towards something greater.
"Madam general! Our forward battalions have broken through the enemy stronghold in the northwest of the city. What are your orders?" A6 said as he approached from his perched position overlooking Ahto city as plumes rose in all directions and blaster fire was firing in the distance. Even the water would at times explode as the underwater fighting became fierce.
"What is our situation to the east?"
"A platoon of B2's have moved deep into enemy territory, but their reinforcements were destroyed en-route to secure their route back to friendly territory. Thus cutting them off inside the Imperial hold." A6 reported in his usual droid monotone as his head moved ever slightly.
"I want two squads of droideka's pulled from the south and rerouted to breach that imperial encirclement. Get me a lock on the Imperial HQ and I will personally put an end to this battle A6."
"Roger, roger." The dutiful droid responded and began relaying orders. As Kellia hopped up to his old heightened position to overlook the old city of Ahto. There was a massive smoke plume rising from the center where the Imperials had blown their own barracks in an attempt to destroy all sensitive data. Several smaller smoke pillars were across the city mostly restricted to the eastern quadrant where the fighting was hard and touch and go as floods of B1 units were being sent in and were mass-waving the Imperial troopers who were quickly becoming overwhelmed any becoming low on supplies.
"A6!" She called and the droid snapped to her call.
"I want you to route another three battalions of B1 units to the northwest sector, supported by two heavy infantry units of B2's!" She called over another blast in the eastern sector. The droid no doubt reiterated its usual, 'roger, roger,' but the blast had overshadowed his voice, and so Kellia continued to look out over the battle.
Her comlink began sounding off, and she quickly grabbed it to answer.
"General Nelrain!" Called Gelshrik in his usual croaky Selkath voice.
"I'm here Gelshrik! What's the situation like down there?"
"Very well ma'am! We have taken the facility we are proud to report! The enemy Imperial forces had us tied up in their bases but we came up with a plan to flood the bases and force them into a confined and cordoned off sector where they would be forced to surrender to my Selkath militia!"
"Very good. Did all of them do this?"
"Unfortunately no. Some were so keen on not being taken as POW's that they stayed put and…well drowned ma'am."
"Casualties and fools are to be expected in war representative Gelshrik. Your world will soon be free. My droid forces are pushing on most fronts! Ahto city will be ours within the day." She could just feel the elation coming off the Selkath leader.
"Thank you general! My forces will be able to supply you with auxiliary troops after we secure the rest of the base down here. May the Force be with you and the battle be yours ma'am."
"And to you my friend." She said and ended the transmission.
"Madam general. We have received an update from both simultaneous attacks at Sullust and Dac." A 6 called, and Kellia motioned for him to report.
"The Sullustans have seized the SoroSuub facilities across the world, and are launching their final attacks on the Imperial barracks on the world, and military facilities. They have reported heavy droid losses, but only a one fifth of their total allotted droid units."
"Very good A6, what else?"
"The admiral there by the name of Ackbar has sent a Hypercomm text based message that states that the seizure of the orbital shipyards was a success. All orbital Imperial units have been neutralized, and the ground forces are beginning faze two of the liberation operation. I recommend that the Sluis Van operation be launched while we still have momentum." The commanding droid unit suggested and Kellia nodded in thought.
"Contact Geonosis A6, tell them to launch the fleet. Also keep me up to date on all military operations. Tell admiral Noor to leave behind a skeleton defense force and go aid in the Sluis Van assault. I feel that all the aid possible will be required there."
"Yes ma'am, roger, roger." The droid responded and headed fro a console to relay all the orders.
Standing and looking over the embattled city Kellia felt a thrill run up her spine as she realized their initial attacks had caught the Imperials and Moffs fully unprepared and possibly unawares of what was happening.
"Today is one hell of a good day." The Jedi commented aloud and watched as the city not only burned beneath her but began to once again breath. Breath in the fresh air of liberation.
(Coruscant, Vaders Palace)
It was the middle of the night on Imperial center and many were asleep, but on a world that never truly sleeps there never really was a lull in activity on the city-world. Vader had begun to receive transmissions of where the Tantive IV was in the galaxy. So far the ship had only made two stops along the way towards the Mon Calamari and Quarren homeworld of Dac. They were in interplanetary space so as to not attract the unwanted attention of either Imperial or Moff forces no doubt.
Vader had since watching that transmission decided not to immediately pursue, but to await the senators landing at Dac, and when he would leave, which Vader believed to be a distinct possibility that Organa would foolishly still use his ship as his hidden tracking device left no traceable signal that other technologies could as of yet detect. When he would leave that is when he would make his move and follow his trail. Wherever this man thought he was going after Dac Vader didn't know but what he did know was that it would be his gravesite.
So until then Vader had busied himself with finalizing his choices for their Despayre defense fleet, and immersing himself in the war. The Moffs were gaining on all fronts when it came to their consolidation campaigns, but when the Imperials actually threw their weight behind an attack they would falter, but this was to be expected as Vellam made sure the incompetents under his command were give command of battles that were untenable even for a numerically superior Moff force. The Roche asteroids were fully under Zaarins control, and the Verpine were already committing themselves to fixing all his damaged vessels at no cost and no complaints.
The Seswenna battle was ended by midday earlier as the Imperial ground forces were evacuated. At least those who could be saved were. Many others had to be left behind unfortunately, and unfortunately many of those left behind were Stormtroopers. The fleet saved numbered over four hundred badly damaged ships. The task force sent out to defend Seswenna numbered another seven hundred ships, an Vader was beginning to send orders to Naval Command to ready another fleet of even bigger proportions to set a course for Seswenna for the eventual imperial counterattacks into surrounding Moff space, and then the eventual retaking of Seswenna itself.
Vader had also noticed that Imperial Intelligence was oddly funneling all Intel on the battle to a man he was familiar with. One of his masters 'Prophets of the Dark Side,' a man called Blackhole, but named Cronal. Vader knew Cronal was a paranoid man, but one that was strong in the Force and if given the opportunity a strong adversary in a saber duel. He was not to be underestimated, and now with this revelation that he was looking into the Seswenna attack, Vader had the creeping sensation that Cronal was suspicious of something, and that spelt out bad news from him and Kun.
Vader could order him to cease him investigations, but that would be utterly foolish. As Cronal would then place Vader at number one on the list of those he wanted to watch. No, Vader would let him have his investigations and let him try and uproot he and Kun's plans, but he would no doubt fail.
Speaking of his ally, long haired Sith lord of ancient times, Vader had not seen nor spoken to the man all day, and while he had done that before. He had usually been in contact with him since they were on the same world. It was nighttime already. Indeed passing midnight. Vader figured he was busy and committing himself to whatever little secrets of his to undermine the Emperor, but it frustrated Vader that the man was so intensely secret about his affairs even with Vader until it met his needs to inform him.
Yet, Vader had to remind himself that their agreed upon partnership entailed a measure of trust when it came to these secret dealings, and indeed there was nothing said about Vader needing to tell him anything, but still Vader wished to be completely in the loop, and so decided that he would ask the man where he had been all day when he returned eventually.
Vader was about to call it a night and sleep for the first time outside of his suit in thirteen years, when his desk once more sounded off. Only this time it was under the secure and scrambled channel that he had specifically assigned to Vellam for emergency consultations. Growling out a loud frustrated growl, Vader initiated his secondary scramblers, and activated a transmitter in his office that sent out a "dead zone," signal that would make stealing outgoing transmissions from his office impossible and would send his message to proxy comm units all across Coruscant. While using the special signal to contact Vader, Vellam was never to say Vader or mention his standing, and so Vader placed his mask back on once more and answered the call.
"What is it Moff?" He asked darkly and Vellam cleared his throat and placed his hands behind his back.
"Forgive the interruption, but a situation has emerged in my quadrants of control and I feel a little out of my depth here, and believe a conference was necessary."
Vader inclined his head and waved his hand in a motion for the Moff to continue.
"Several worlds in my sectors of control have gone dark, and with the core of my navy engaging loyalist forces all across space, I am unable to reroute sufficient forces to these worlds. I have received no Intel reporting a loyalist counterattack, and wish to confirm with you if or if not loyalist forces are attacking so I may make the necessary adjustments?"
Vader, having excessively put all current engagements in the war to memory nodded his consent for Vellam to list the worlds in question.
"Routine calls to command to assure us all is well have gone dark on the following worlds: Geonosis, Manaan, Sullust, and Dac."
At the mention of Dac Vader snapped his full attention to Vellams holographic image and his thoughts raced.
"No. No loyalist forces are engaging those worlds Moff. Intelligence has been receiving word of strange naval movements through the Arkanis and Ojoster sectors. Geonosis is in Arkanis, and I can only assume that a world that should be on your radar in Ojoster is indeed faking its loyalty to you Moff. Whatever is taking place in these worlds is not of Imperial making. I would however recommend you hold of on rerouting any assets to these worlds. I feel that we need to adopt a wait and see stance for now. I will have further orders for you once whatever is happening out there is made clear to us, Moff."
Vellam nodded and breathed a sigh of relief at apparently not having to make any tough decisions himself.
"As you wish. I will contact you once more on the agreed upon date. Until then I bid you farewell." Vader nodded and ended the transmission, and quickly authorized a data-dump of his transmission console, as all calls and cal logs were deleted.
Vader couldn't allow Vellam to kill Bail Organa. That man was his, and no matter what was happening on these worlds Vader would not allow his revenge to be complete. So, Darth Vader went to bed this night without much care for what he had ordered Vellam to do. He enjoyed the feel of sheets tangled along his form, and fell into sleep where he was still 'plagued' by dreams of, 'her,' again.
Vader wouldn't find out until too late what he had just allowed to happen across the Outer-Rim. The dark lord would learn that he just saved the United Rebellion Movement.
