Alright, here is the next chapter. I know it's been forever, but I worked really hard to get everything together. And it's done! YAY! Also… I moved back home from St. John's, Newfoundland to Ottawa area, Ontario. (Like I was going to actually say exactly where I moved back to hahaha.) but no seriously, it was extremely random and quick notice, I literally had like 2 weeks to move three years of stuff off an island, across an ocean, and several provinces over. Who would have thought that Canada was so freaking big? Yes, it was expensive and yes some things were left behind and things just blew up from there. But for the most part everything turned out alright. Anyway enough about my life, you guys have been waiting patiently for this chapter and I bring it to you on a shiny, silver plater. The other half is up at the same time so feel free to read it. I'm not going to make my author's note different between the two since it is rather long and I don't have anything really to say differently between the two. So, if you plan to read its partner chapters, you can ignore the author note over there and just get to the chapter.
Oh, before I go. I just wanted to let you guys know that if you don't read my story Dark Side of a Writer (Fire Emblem Awakening fanfiction), you might not know of my new original series I'm starting to write and publish soon. It's called the Soul Series and you can check it out on my FictionPress site with my other two stories over there. Now it's not up yet, but it will be when I post the next set of chapters. Yes, I'm going to be posting four chapters at once. One for here, one for Legend of Zelda: Expanding the Triforce Book 2: After, one for The Dark Side of a Writer and the first chapter of the Soul Series Book One: Sacred Souls. I hope it makes up for my long absence. (I'll let you in a little secret, there might not be a coincidence that the title of my new book and the name of this story are similar…)
I hope you enjoy!
Chapter 6
If at First You Don't Succeed,
Blast Them with Your Blue-Eyes Again
Seto was getting real tired of… just about everything: waking up in strange places, teleporting, and monsters. Mostly the monsters. It was not how he wanted be woken up by the side of a lake, but it was what it was. And he sure as hell gave them a piece of his mind, by grabbing the first thing he grabbed being a rock. He blinked out of his confusion as he realized on what was actually happening as he was face to face with a green monster with a club with a now blood mark rolling down the front of its face. "What wretched thing gave birth to you?"
The creature screamed and raised its club and he rolled to a stand well out of the way with ease. That ease left as he dropped to a knee as queasiness hit him and all of his energy drained. Wherever he was, it was caused by shadow magic, he hadn't felt like he did in that moment since Gozaburo's abusive years. The creature growled again before both of them were distracted by several groans and curses. Seto didn't bother to look at who was making the noise and pulled out a spare gun on his belt and shot it in the face. The monster turned back to him and screamed and he shot it again. It stopped its charged mid-way and fell to the ground before somewhat exploding and disappearing. His small colt only had four bullets left, not a good statistic if there was more where that thing had come from. Thankfully, his colt wasn't his only weapon on him as he took a look at his aura sword. He made himself stand up only to regret it and fell back into a rock wall. He closed his eyes as he placed a hand on his face; he needed to feel something other than whatever he was feeling. He also needed a drink once he was finished with Melissa and home, maybe if he got drunk enough, the hangover might be the same feeling. But he doubted that. He opened an eye as the sun glared down on him to find out who distracted the monster long enough to remember his gun. He scanned the short grass when he came to a pair of shoes from his school and a messy, multi-colored head full getting up looking paler than a sheet of paper next to his blood stained coat. He probably didn't look different.
"S-Seto…" Atem stuttered as he winced at the light as Seto picked up his coat carefully and put it on.
"How is it that whenever we get teleported someplace, I'm always stuck with you?" Seto growled, moving back to the wall, he wasn't leaning down or moving from that spot again for a little while, or at least he hoped. "Wow, you look like you were hit by a bus."
"And you look like you hit and ran over by a frat train." The male replied as he looked around. "What happened?"
"What do you think happened?"
"I'm trying to help solve the problem."
Atem went to get up when Seto decided to be nice, "I really don't recommend moving right now."
"Uh, why?"
"Trust me, that's the last thing you want to do, just lie down for a few minutes."
"I'm not saying I don't trust you, but you are the one holding a gun."
"If I could get back to the ground without making a fool of myself, I would be joining you, as for the gun… it just saved our asses."
"Really now," The pharaoh inquired as he lied back down in the grass. "And what did you save us from exactly?"
"Your mother."
"Someone woke up on the wrong side of the field this morning."
Seto just huffed as he saved his energy, he wanted to continue to run the pharaoh into the ground with words, but he was too exhausted to care. He continued to look a little more around when he came to another person not far from Atem and his body went tense. The woman started to wake up and before he knew it, he was over top of her holding the barrel to her head. "You bitch."
Melissa looked up at him in confusion before blinking up at him and countered. He didn't bother wasting his weapon on her as he jumped out of her disarm and kept on his two feet. He found his way back to the wall and leaned against it in the best way possible to not look like he was regretting even waking up.
"Melissa-!" Atem growled as he went to get up again.
"Don't get up yet." Seto warned as Melissa stood up and brushed herself off like nothing happened. "Of course you would be fine."
"Did a bullet train hit you?" She asked cockily and he aimed at her again with difficulty, she was now worth shooting in the face. "Careful there, pretty boy, you might miss."
"From this range? Doubt it."
He didn't get a chance to prove her wrong when a large shadow appeared over top of them. He looked up and regretted the decision of doing so. A large green dragon appeared above with a single horn on the top of its head landed in front of them. Atem was up and off the ground faster than he had seen frightened scums move from his feet.
"What is that thing?" the tri-colored hair male asked. "So this is what it's like to feel like you look."
"Told you not to move."
"Yes, because I'm going to lay in the grass while a giant dragon that doesn't even fit on the little field lands and more than likely wants to eat us."
"Are you two love birds done arguing?" Melissa asked.
"Stay out of this!" The two males shouted at her.
"Well, I'm going to find my brother, you boys have fun with the dragon."
"Go get her, I'm going to deal with this." Seto growled as he went for his deck.
"Is that wise?"
"Its fine, now go before she's out of sight!"
Atem nodded and ran after the ex-security member. Seto turned back to the dragon and reached for his own. "This has been fun, but I really don't have time for you."
"What is this thing doing out here?" A male voice in an accent that he never heard of from above as it interrupted his summon as the dragon reeled back its lips to show several rows of sharp teeth. "What is it?"
"It's a creature known as Aquamentus." A female answered also from the same location, "It's gem is its weakness."
"Thanks."
'Yes, thank you for the information.' Seto commented to himself. "Blue-Eyes!"
A figure landed on top of the enemy dragon's nose as his dragon appeared above them. Seto didn't bother waiting for the male to move out of the way, the monster was certainly not as it shook about splashing back into the water. The male figure dropped onto the field as he called his dragon to attack the gem. A burst stream of destruction came from the blue dragon's mouth and into the other dragon's chest. The gem cracked and then it shattered after a moment. The blond figure stood back in awe. The enemy dragon moaned as it collapsed and exploded into nothingness. Seto watched as the blond figure put his sword away.
"I'm surprised, not too many people have monsters working against other monsters."
"My dragon does what I command." Seto stated, the male had green clothes that in his opinion were a little out of the century and rather outlandish ears. What world was this? World of Warcraft and the land of the High Elves? It didn't seem like the MMO; he had played it before. "Who the hell are you?"
The blond elf like creature looked ready to respond when the voice of Atem interrupted. "I got her, hopefully this time, she won't run away again."
"Using such a cheap trick you might want to add." Melissa spat.
"Yes, so cheap that you couldn't see coming. Personally I didn't know why I didn't think about it before."
"That's because you are slow and needed to have your skull rattled a little first." Seto mocked.
"Hey! What is going on here?" The male elf asked looking ready to draw his weapon again. "Release the girl."
His Blue-Eyes lowered herself to the ground and growled. Seto smirked. "Yeah, I think I'll pass on that."
"Explain to me what she has done wrong then."
"Yes, where do we start on that then?" He replied turning to his former employee before turning back to the kid. "But I don't have the time to list everything, so I'll cut to the chase. Leave us be and you won't get hurt or you can attempt to stop us with your pathetic sword and probably be my dragon's best meal of the day. Your choice."
The male drew his sword and shield. Seto thought he recognized it, but brushed it off. He needed to find his sister. "I've fought bigger."
"Blue-Eyes-"
"Enough!" A female voice rang throughout the air that was surprisingly majestic. Seto followed it to find a woman dressed in archaic, but at the same time, most likely expensive armor with an emblem that was the same emblem on the shield the male held. One look at the woman told him upper-class if not running the show. "There is no point to a needless fight."
"I second that." Atem added looking at Seto. He rolled his eyes. "All we want is to find a few of our comrades, this woman here misplaced them and needs to be held responsible for her actions."
"We don't have time for some diplomatic conversation." Seto argued. "If you don't remember correctly, Regan was shot and is probably bleeding out some place."
"Who is Regan?" The male asked.
"None of your business."
"They could help up." Atem mumbled.
"We can find her quicker without them."
"Do you know where anything is, sir?" The woman asked. "The popular spots, the underground routes, the trades, the meeting stops, the hide away areas, the creatures that walk this land? Do you any of them?"
"…"
"Well you must surely know the towns, the divisions, who to ask for answers, the currency at which they ask for such valuable information."
"…"
"Well, it looks like they are not requiring our assistance."
"Seems that way… but what of the woman?" The male questioned before he narrowed his eyes as he looked at Seto's hand. "Wait, I know this weapon."
"Well if you do, then I hope you realize that I will gladly use it on anyone who gets in my way." Seto threatened.
"Zelda, they're from Electra's world."
The woman remained silent as she seemed to go into thought.
"Zelda?" Atem questioned. "You mean the princess from the games?"
"She's a queen." A soldier corrected.
"My apologies."
"Stop acting so nice to them." Seto warned him. "I don't care if they are a god; we're wasting time with all your little conversation attempts."
"Seto, she's the queen of Hyrule," the tri-colored male continued. Seto sighed as Atem turned to their captive. "Your brother is in a game universe?"
"It's a dimension, stupid pharaoh," Melissa growled. "And you dragging me along is not going to help you find your little buddies, so how about you just leave me here."
"Like hell we are. What timeline is this?" Seto demanded but the woman was silent. He had a little bit of information on the game series and knew it was separated into several timelines, but he wasn't up to date with what was happening where and when, other than Aquamentus was in the first game of the first dungeon. This punk that stood in front of him looked nothing like the little 8-bit figure that he played as.
"This is the Twilight Princess game, at least in your world." The male answered putting his sword away. "Or at least a couple of years later."
"How can we trust you?"
"You know those pyramids that started glowing for no apparent reason off of Florida?"
"Maybe…"
"That was because of an incident that happened when I was in your world."
"You were… when?" Atem asked.
"Several months ago, point is, you got here somehow right? Who was it?"
"This bitch right here, look some douchebag didn't waltz in and kidnap us, this was this chic's fault because she is insane and needed to find her brother in another god damn dimension that could have killed everyone that wanted nothing to do with any traveling." Seto answered, he was done talking.
"Does it look like I care, my plan worked." Melissa challenged. "You are all freaks of nature anyway, why not use you to get what I needed."
Seto was ready to end her when Zelda spoke up again. "Come back with us to Castle Town, we felt a disturbance when you arrived and expected the worse. Lucky for us, it was just a low boss from a different timeline. There are several of us wandering about that felt the disturbances both good and evil. I'm sure someone has found your comrades and taking them back to Castle Town as well. It is the safest location to meet and the most guarded so if there is anyone wounded they can take time to recover."
"We agr-" Atem started, but Seto wasn't interested.
"No."
"Seto! There are evil things lurking about and whether or not you choose to acknowledge that is your own decision. I know for a fact that I do not have the energy to be summoning monsters to look for everyone and protect ourselves from other monsters and other assorted mishaps that are most certainly going to come our way."
"Just because your royal ass doesn't have the energy to deal with your missing shadow magic doesn't mean I can't."
"Don't listen to me then and think about what Regan and Mokuba would do if they found out that you were killed because you were stressing yourself looking for Regan. Mokuba would most certainly be pissed and Regan would probably blame herself, again."
"With the amount of time that has passed, which we have no idea I might add, she might already be dead meaning your sister is also probably dead, again!"
Atem gritted his teeth looking at Melissa before sighing. "I think they are both fine. They have each other and that is more than what they need. Even against monsters, Nile can summon stuff to get Regan to safety."
"If she has the juice to do it."
"I'm going to Castle Town and you're coming with me."
"You and what dragon."
"I would summon Millennium Dragon to destroy yours, but that would probably kill you and then I would have to deal Mokuba and Regan." He answered. "So let's go and use your bloodlust for later."
Seto looked up at Blue-Eyes and realized that Atem was probably right. He didn't know how much shadow magic was used to get them where they were and he didn't know how he would fare if his dragon was destroyed. "Fine, but your little final say ends once we reach Castle Town."
"I never had such power."
"Bull."
"Awe, you guys are so adorable." Melissa cooed and Seto caught her in a knock out point and she dropped.
"I don't usually hit girls, but I will do it again without hesitation just for her."
"I don't classify her as a girl." Atem stated. "She's a Knight's Templar, they have no bounds with gender."
"A Templar?" The male questioned.
Seto was getting real tired of him trying to help. "Yes a Templar, what has that got to do with anything in your world?"
The male turned to Zelda before turning back to him. "I think we know who her brother might be."
"Wonderful, I don't care."
"But-"
"Link," Zelda interrupted and the male stopped.
"Your name is Link?" Seto questioned.
"Yes…"
"Seto…" Atem growled before Seto could say how dumb it was. "Drop it."
Link cleared his throat. "You guys have a friend you said that was injured, is she familiar with this world?"
"Very." Seto and Atem replied.
"She should be fine…"
"Why the dramatic pause?" Seto glared. "Is there something that is a little different?"
"It's best to explain on the way, the faster we get to Castle Town, the better we can handle the situation and prioritize things."
His dragon growled stopping the green clad man in his tracks.
"No, explain it to me now. What is the catch?"
"Look, we don't have time to diplomatically discuss anything and I'm not in the mood. I've already had a long night and your arrival has probably started something that was probably still cooking."
"Looks like a personal problem."
"You want an explanation, you can come now or you can stand there and get killed by something while the rest of them leave while I explain every detail. I can stand here all day; it makes no difference to me."
Seto went to respond as a horde of giant flying bird-bat things came over the ridge and the knights around Zelda started to prepare arrows pitifully. He could force an answer out of the punk with a bad name or he could take forever to get to this town with an equally bad name to maybe find out where his sister might be. The first one sounded wonderfully quick, but the man in front of him wasn't giving him the impression he would talk quickly and possibly take just as long to get to this town to spill. He sighed as the second option suddenly became more appealing. It was painless to get the story straight and if he needed to, his Blue-Eyes could get him to wherever he needed to go. "Blue-Eyes, get rid of those things."
The dragon complied and shot out her white lightning attack at them. It wiped out most of them as the creatures came falling to the ground and disappearing like the larger dragon had. He wondered if people went out that way as well… it was an interesting thought.
"You missed some." Atem told him.
"If at first you don't succeed," He started as Blue-Eyes attacked the remainder. "Blast them with your Blue-Eyes again."
"How long did that take for you to be able to use that line?" the pharaoh asked as the rest of the monsters were destroyed.
"Take this." He growled as he tossed Melissa's body onto him before turning to Zelda, she didn't seem as annoying as the blond. "We'll head to Castle Town, but on the condition you throw this woman in a very secure cell until I find Regan and can deal with her appropriately."
"We have cells that can hold anyone." Zelda responded.
"That sounds like a challenge."
"Even a Templar won't make it out of the ones made for powerful sorcerers, she will be contained there when we get to Castle Town."
"Good."
"Milady, you are going to allow him to dishonor you like this?" one of the men with her questioned.
"He is concerned about his comrades," the queen replied turning around towards where they had come hinting towards Link and possibly himself. "Even the most mannered man can be untasteful when they are distraught."
"Still…"
"Let's go." Seto rolled his eyes as he started to follow her with Link following closely next to him. "So, we are on our way, start talking."
"This still isn't the best place…" the male started. "But, I did say I would. Look, I don't know who this Regan is to you, but there are certain parts of Hyrule right now that are a little dangerous."
"How dangerous? Like regular monsters or abundant boss ones."
"Both, and sometimes in hordes. If you said she was injured and she ended up alone, it's possible even with all the knowledge of this place she has won't help her."
"Places like where?"
"Any place that doesn't have a spring so, that eliminates here as one of the four spots. There is two more in Faron and Ordon Province respectively in the south and another in the west in Kakariko Village. If she landed someplace on Death Mountain, the Gorons may have helped her get to a hot spring, that is if she appeared where a Goron would be."
"What the hell is a hot spring going to do for a gunshot victim?"
"It's a magic spring so a lot," Link explained, less impatient than he was before. He probably had some understanding of the situation Seto was in. "If she landed in the Zora's Domain, they might have already sent her to Castle Town for treatment by a human doctor and in that case potions would be administered. No, they won't kill her. They work very well."
"How well?"
"Like being stabbed through the chest by a giant snake's tail and it mending bones, muscle and skin tissue well."
"Sounds like it hurt." Atem stated.
"My body went into shock at the time so it hurt for a tiny bit, lucky for me, I had a friend that gave me several potions. Which was great until I was stabbed, again, apparently."
"Bad day?"
"Bad day."
"So the potions can deal with bullet wounds?"
"Yes, but if she landed in Snow Peak, Hyrule Field or Gerudo Desert, she's probably not going to make it unless someone finds her first. But even then, not everyone that could come across her are good."
"Who else would find her?"
"On to the second problem she's not aware of." Link said as they arrived at the top of the lake.
Seto didn't realize the trek they had done. He looked around and only saw horses enough to get their riders back. He looked up at Blue-Eyes, he couldn't believe he was going to get his dragon to carry not only Melissa and Atem, but to run next to this bloody elf man Hylian guy. He turned to Atem. "Get on before I change my mind."
The pharaoh nodded and climbed on board his dragon once she lowered herself. He went to join them when he felt something brushing against his head. He turned to it to find a horse nose in his face and it tried to eat his hair.
"You put on a brute act," Zelda said softly climbing on a different horse. "But Epona knows you're a good person deep down."
"That might be pushing it." Seto responded rubbing its nose. "Go away."
The horse snorted and brushed up against him again before shoving him aside throwing him off balance for a moment.
"God damn horse…"
"Take it as a compliment." Link responded getting onto the mare's back. "There are very few people she actually likes."
"And you just happen to be one of them." Atem called from on top his dragon.
"You can walk if you want!" Seto called back and Atem disappeared chuckling. He left the horse group and his dragon held out her clawed hand so he could stand on it, it would be easier to hear the elf man from there on what he had to say. Atem could be filled in later once they found Regan… and he guessed Yugi and Bakura as well, Regan would probably want to look for them considering she was dating one and friends with the other.
"So what are these other problems?" Seto asked after the horses and his dragon starting running towards a great bridge. He waiting patiently as his dragon flew instead of running on the bridge. It wasn't until they got into a field where his patience left. "What other problems are there that a fanatic wouldn't know about?"
"A few extra characters." Link finally answered. Did it really take him that long to say that one line? "These… creatures are not in the history that she would know about."
"Just say it and I'll let you know whether or not she would know."
"I'm not sure how familiar you are with how the dimensions work, but this one is parallel to yours, and I'm going to presume several others. This world used to be the same as yours before the goddess Hylia with the help of a second goddess, Themis, separated them to save the world from utter destruction."
"She would be familiar with both goddesses, but I don't see where you are going with this." Seto told him.
"The two worlds had an evil that together would take hold the Triforce, the power of the gods, to create a hellish world and possibly rule not only this world, but several others. Themis sacrificed her divinity to keeping your world safe by fusing with a mortal who was in line for becoming the Hero of Themis at the time. The creature that was brought back to your world was a human who fell in love with the demon king, Demise, and became known as Leviathan."
"That is conflicting considering a little over a year ago, I helped destroy Leviathan."
"It's possible that your world had a creature of its own that was named after her." Zelda told him. "Leviathan of this story was a mortal named, Kalysta. She was sealed inside a pyramid and used as an energy source for a city named Atlantis. Once the city was destroyed, it was a matter of time before Kalysta would regain her energy to be able to break out of her prison. Whatever creature it was you killed in your world was from your world alone, Kalysta is from both and probably a lot older and a lot stronger."
"Alright…" Atem said suddenly. Seto looked towards the voice and saw him sitting on his dragon's shoulder. "So the leviathan creature we killed, was not the original… is it possible it was a manifestation of Kalysta?"
"More than likely," Zelda answered. "The city was a magically protected city of the gods, only something equal or stronger than the gods of your world would have been able to destroy it when the city was at its weakest. Since Themis was waiting to be reborn again when the creature was born, she would have not been able to defend against it."
Seto looked up at Atem. From the story he heard, Atlantis was at a very weak moment when it was destroyed, turning innocent people into monsters and creating chaos. Enough to easily gather enough energy to create a manifestation of this Kalysta chick to destroy the city. That manifestation then was put to a rest by the Atlantean Knights for ten thousand years. If the thing they fought was just a manifestation for gathering energy for this Kalysta, what the hell were they dealing with? "So this Kalysta, Leviathan, is running around? Where is she now so we can get rid of her."
"It's not that simple."
"She's a giant serpent, a world eater, how can you not know where she is?"
"She has a Hylian form, a human form and a serpent form. She was able to open rifts between our two worlds and move about them. She could be anywhere at this point."
"Well isn't that lovely."
"The good news though is that she was spotted earlier today terrorizing a bar." Link said, "So that means she is probably going into her plan."
"And this is good because?" Atem asked.
"We have an idea on who she's looking for meaning she will hopefully be leaving your companions alone for the moment."
"Good, now what's the catch?"
"There's a demon running around trying to merge the two worlds together."
"Is he working for anyone?"
"Not that we are aware of… he's been there since the beginning, before the worlds were separated. Why do you ask?"
"We have a demon of our own." Seto explained. "One that I have a feeling will be coming to visit once he realizes his crush is missing."
"You guys have one of those too. What is with demons?"
"What do you mean?" The pharaoh questioned.
"The demon that has been pulling all of the strings is an incubus, that according to your language, has leveled up."
"That doesn't sound good considering incubi and succubae are considered the weakest of demons in our world."
Since when was Atem an expert on demonology?
"He has this thought in his head that he wants to get together with Electra, a girl from your world… his obsession brought forth other things like the awakening of Leviathan and now the two worlds slowly combining as well as the revival of Demise."
Seto took note at the elf's tone. "You sounds pretty pissed, considering."
"Well, you probably would be too if an evil version of yourself was traveling around with your travel companion and a lustful sorcerer was trying to take your gi-" The green clad hero stopped to correct himself as his face started to go a bit red. "Your queen. The point is, Dean has done enough damage and so far we can't find any weaknesses to him. Electra has tried shooting him, he stopped the bullets in the air. He's been blown up, turned an innocent baby dragon into an adult monster and he can go between our worlds and transform into someone else. I don't know if he can actually shapeshift into other people though. If he could it wouldn't surprise me."
Seto guessed that he would be rather ticked off if that was his life, but he had a whole other world of problems then just one guy. "This incubus sounds annoying, but have you not figure his shapeshifting techniques, he must have appeared in other places?"
"We've only witnessed one form, a geeky computer genius, very large. We only know of this form from a nightmare."
"A nightmare?"
"It was a projection of what Dark Link was watching." Zelda told them.
"So… this Dark Link is your evil half?" Atem asked trying to understand the situation.
"He is his own person; he just has all the knowledge and experience of every lifetime I've had." Link explained. "He was just a shadow, but until recently, that has changed."
Seto felt an even bigger headache coming along. "So he's mortal too."
"Unfortunately, and as much as I would like to be rid of him as much as he wants me dead, Hyrule and Earth have a better chance of surviving with his cooperation."
Seto laughed, if there was one thing he knew about dark halves it was that they hardly ever cooperate. "You think he's going to help you?"
"He's got someone to look after and has been doing so for a while, so yes when push comes to shove. He's not immune as he would like to think." Zelda stated. "He is a required sacrifice for Leviathan's plan for Demise's resurrection. I'm certain that his mortal being is allowing him to understand how people feel and not pure rage, pain and murder."
"What he is, is an idiot." Link growled. "And a murdering bastard that has no kind emotions left. He is a broken puppet with no puppeteer."
"And yet you are letting him take care of someone?" Atem questioned. "Someone that seems rather important to you."
"It wasn't my decision… She made it and…"
"You can't face her because of an incident."
"No, I can't. The one good thing about having someone follow up on you every three seconds is that they know about the guilt, and they can feel it."
"So you are influencing him to do what you can't?"
"Yes… I suppose... but I think it's of his own choice to do what he is doing. Something happened that night when he became mortal... definitely more of a … how do you say this… a bit of a bitch is what you would say." Link seemed pleased with himself on figuring out the word he wanted before going back to being serious. "It doesn't matter, as soon as this is all over, he is going to try and kill me and I won't hesitate to finish him."
"So Dark Link is the lustful one?" Seto asked, the last thing he wanted was another wacky to be going after his sister. Especially if it was Dark Link, whatever they said about Regan being a killing machine was nothing compared to some of the things that returned to him about the villain. He remembered Dark Link as someone that didn't feel emotion, an exact copy of what Link could do and that meant hunting down things at long distances. He had seen the memes about Link in The Hunger Games, he could only presume a soulless being was just as good if not better. And from the information that as just given to him, that heartless, emotionless being was now an emo, with the hormones of Anakin Skywalker was not what he wanted to hear.
"No, the fourth player is. Vaati, he's the one that is lustful. Several girls have gone missing and found later on, but he's been going after mostly Hylian over human so you shouldn't be worried."
"I'm still worried, Regan has a certain… charm to her that draws in unwanted attention." He stated at least it wasn't Dark Link. Seto wasn't going to point out that she was an aura user, they didn't need to know that from his lips. If she wanted to tell them she could, but he needed to find her alive before anything happened to her. "So what are the odds of this Dean and Vaati finding her?"
"Extremely high if they know about her." Zelda replied. "But as of now, someone sent a monster to you so they know about your arrival, but I don't know if they were watching what your potential could be."
"Perfect…" There went his element of surprise.
