A/N: Last update for now, and it's a 400 word dealy!
I have a question for everybody, though you don't have to answer (feel free to just skip ahead to the story).
When I first started this story, I thought it was going to be about 400 chapters long and was just gong to focus on a funny-ish romantic thing and that was it. Now I kinda wanna take it even further than what it started, with action and drama and explosions and plot twists and romance and humor and adventure!
Which brings me to the problem; the genre of this story is Romance/Humor.
Usually when I see that, I think it's gonna be a "haha boy does stupid things to get the girl's attention or vice versa". Not "romance with explosions and action and plot twists and drama and adventure" with an addition "I can't believe that just happened", "In your face!" and "Oh dear gawd WHY" humor.
So question is, should I leave the genre alone? Should I change it to something more appropriate? If so, what?
Oh FF, if only I could use more genres...
Disclaimer: I don't own Transformers Prime, just the random OCs and plot rainbows I barf out.
Chapter 114: To Squish or Not To Squish
Tapping the servo that wasn't keeping the human pinned in place against his chin, the Medic thought long and hard about his options. One was that he could kill the organic and go about his merry way and find himself a better and more suitable candidate at a later point in time. Another was that he could allow the annoying, uncooperative femme live and use her to study the current dominate race of this planet. She wasn't smart; after asking her what her chemical make-up was, he decided that she was far from intelligent. Out of all the millions and billions of humans, he gets the idiot!
He still had to access the virus and interface (why did the humans have so many videos of their race interfacing?!) infested "Internet", much to his displeasure, and she seemed like such a bother to keep alive.
One little miscalculation of force? She dies.
Too much of certain fuels? She dies.
Too little of certain fuels? She dies.
Too cold? She dies.
Too hot? She dies.
For Primus sake- she could have too much water and die! He thought humans required water!
Knock Out nearly squished her then and there, his processor swimming at the thought of having to go to such great lengths to keep her alive long enough to do experiments. He barely stopped himself as his optics settled on a distant house, and realized that humans tended to care for themselves, rather than have a superior species – like himself – care for them. As long as she had access to the proper items, she should be able to care for herself!
He grimaced as he remembered that he had brought her to a food source and she refused to eat.
Should and would were two entirely separate concepts.
But there was also the problem that it was just too much of a hassle to hunt down another perfectly healthy human that he could observe when he had one that he could use right beneath his servo! The pros and cons of each choice – to squish or not to squish – battled for dominance in his mind and he ignored the human woman as she attempted to crawl free. It was a difficult decision, but in the end, he decided to allow her to live; he could always kill her later if she continued to annoy him as she was currently doing.
