Marian began to laugh.

It wasn't a simple "ha-ha, funny" laugh.

It was a hysterical "Ha-ha-ha! This sucks!" laugh.

As she attempted to squirm out of her current predicament, the mech tightened his fingers against her hips, effectively preventing her from going anywhere. That isn't to say she didn't try; she tried until she was blue in the face, much to Knock Out's amusement. She grunted, squealed, twisted, pushed and shoved and nothing helped. If anything, it just made him squeeze her tighter to the point that she hurt and she finally fell limp after several torturous minutes.
