I know it has been a long wait for this chapter but having a baby changes life considerably. I do hope that this chapter was worth the wait. I of course I do not own Yugioh just Abasi.

After Joey's duel with Mai they all realized that they were getting hungry and remembered that Abasi had some military rations in her pack. Unfortunately when they opened them they discovered that they had all expired, contrary to the date on the packing. So this left them to find food and after Tristan's failed attempt to suggest scrounging Joey's nose picked up the smell of cooking food nearby.

So fallowing his nose, Joey lead them to a cliff where some fish were being cooked by a camp fire and of course he and Tristan went to help them self's to it. Just as they were about to a dullest in swimming trunks climbed up over the edge of the cliff and shouted at them for trying to eat his fish. They soon realized that he was Mako Tsunami, the top ocean duelist and he of course had heard about Yugi defeating Kiaba. Abasi found it a bit suspicious when he changed his mind and let them eat till they were full. She couldn't help but think that he was working some kind of angle

Course she soon found that she was right when he stopped them from leaving, by throwing a harpoon at Yugi, and challenged him to a duel. Yami took control for the duel as an arena came out of the sea, which was cool. Wagering two star chips each and the duel began. Mako summoned a monster that was hidden under the water, well Yami summoned his Imp but it was no match for what looked like a hug squid. This was the start of what almost looked like a one sided duel that Mako was winning, especially when he took away all most all of the land save one small island.

It was then that Mako told them the story of how he had lost his father on a fishing trip where they were hit by a storm. He said that his father secured Mako to the boat to keep him safe but his father was lost. Abasi felt sorry for him remembering the resent loss of her own parents. She quickly pushed her own sorrow a side when she heard Mako's declaration to search the sea for his father. The duel ended with Yugi winning by having his Stone solder taking out his moon card, which made the ocean on the field to recede and beach Mako's monsters. Mako took the loss well and they felt that he was a good friend as he dove back into the sea to get more fish as they left.

Walking for half an hour they heard someone call out for help up ahead on the path. Running towards the shout they saw one of Pegasus guards dragging a boy towards the dock where a boat was waiting with other duelist a Weevil in it. "Hey what do you think you're doing with that kid? Let him go!" Abasi shouted at him.

Tristan ran forward with his fist raised. "Let the kid go!" he said. The guard threw the kid to the side before Tristan grabbed him and threw him but he quickly recovered in midair. He then kicked Tristan, knocking him to the ground, then grabbed the kid again.

"Put me down."

"Quit squirming you little brat." The guard snapped.

"You heard him needle head, put the kid down." Joey told him as they reached them. Abasi was ready to use any spell to distract the pointy haired guard so the others to get the kid. Yugi suspected that she might do this as he caught her eye and shook his head, telling her not to. He then turned back to the problem at hand. "What do you think you're doing with him?"

"This is none of your business. This duelist lost his star chips and the rules say he's to be kicked off the island." Pointy head said as he turned and glared at them.

"But I didn't lose my star chips in a duel they were stolen from me, my cards too." The kid said as he tried to get free.

"Quiet. I don't care what lame excuses you have kid, you need star chips to duel and you don't have any. So your shipping out of here, those are the rules."

"Now hold on. You should make an exception since his chips and deck were stolen." Abasi said as she tried to reason with him but at the same time using a bit of magic to help. Silver Tough, a magic spell that when used right you can talk anyone into doing whatever you want. But the users will must be stronger then targets mind and be skilled for it to work. "Let the kid find the thief and you can boot him off instead."

With Abasi still in training her spell didn't come close to working as pointy head turned and snapped. "I don't have time to look into it, besides he should have kept a better hold on both his star chips and his deck." He then turned and walked away.

Abasi glared at his back well Tristan got up. "That big creep, I say we fallow him." They did fallow the him to a small dock were a boat with other dullest who had lost all their star chips were waiting to leave. Abasi could see the sad look on the kids face as they ran up in hopping to help the kid out. In the back of her mind she had a strange feeling that helping this kid was going to lead up to a bad situation, which greatly confused her. How could helping someone turn into a bad thing?

"Hey you!" Yugi shouted as they got close.

All of the guards turned and stared at them till they were on the dock. The guards were clearly not happy to have them getting involved in this kids stolen deck and star chips as they got the thrift's description and the details of what had happened from the kid. It turned out that the thief had challenged him to a duel but instead had just taken his deck and ships before running off with them. Yugi agreed with Abasi's earlier statement that the kid shouldn't be shipped off the island for that but pointy head still didn't care as he told them that the boat left in 30 minutes and if they didn't make it back before then the boat would be sent on its way.

After reassuring the kid that they would find the thief and bring him and the stolen property back in time. They headed over to the scene of the crime as the "brilliant detective Joey" put it, to look for clues. Yugi suggested staking the place out, thinking that the thief would return and in the mean time they could come up with a plan. Abasi knew that the thief was still nearby as she could séance what almost felt like a well of vengeful energy coming from the trees to Yugi's right. Before she could say anything the thief jumped out of the trees and landed not far from them. He was short with a blue toque with an M on it, a bandana, jeans and a red shirt with orange and white stripe sleeves. "Ah ha! I found you at last Yugi!" He said.

"That must be the kid we were looking for." Joey said.

"Gee what gave him away Sherlock?" Abasi asked which earned her a glare from her fellow blonde.

"I can handle him." Tristan said.

"I should hope so you're twice his size.' Tea said.

"Just try me you big dork." The thief snapped.

"Back off kid." Tristan snapped.

"And hand over the star chips you swiped from that other duelist." Joey snapped also.

"Guys calm down." Abasi said as she got a good look at the kid. It was strange but he looked familiar in some way to her but she couldn't be sure as his face was hidden.

"Hang on I think I know what this kids after. He wants to duel." Yugi said surprising Joey and Tristan, he then turned to the thief. "That's what you want right, you want to duel me?"

"You better believe it." The thief said. Before they knew it Yugi and him were up at the dueling arena terminals about to start a duel and still Abasi couldn't help but think that she knew this kid. The others of course questioned why Yugi was dueling him when they could simply just take the cards and chips back. Eventually they thought it might have to do with his millennium puzzle which was a step towards them learning about Yami.

"We just have to have faith that Yugi knows what he is doing." Abasi said as Yami took over.

They wagered 5 star chips but as they did Yami said that he had a feeling why the kid was dueling him, which didn't faze the kid. Abasi wondered if Yami knew who he was just by accepting the duel. As the two of them faced off against each other Abasi was hit with a vision.

She saw Kaiba and his younger brother Mokuba were in what looked like Kaiba's office. Kaiba was shifting through his cards and looking terrible. They were talking but she couldn't hear what was being said but she could séance that something was wrong. Mokuba stared at his brother in shock as Kaiba pick up his briefcase full of cards and left the office after giving him a card. Then she saw Mokuba looking sad as he entered a dimly lit room before he was grabbed by some shadowy figures. Then Pegasus and five men in suits appeared laughing as he tried to fight his captures. She could séance his fear as if it was her own.

Abasi groaned as she nearly fell to the ground but Tea caught her. "Abasi are you alright?"

Hearing Tea Yami looked over and meet Abasi's eyes as she looked up at him. He could see that she had a vision and from the look on her face it had told her something important. When her eyes darted at Mokuba, who was in disguise at the other end of the duel arena, he knew that she knew why Mokuba was dueling.

Abasi told Tea that she was alright well Mokuba summoned his Man Eating Plant in attack mode. Yami countered with his Winged Dragon, which easily took out Mokuba's plant when he attacked. After that Yami reviled who Mokuba was and the truth came out.

It seemed that after Kaiba had lost to Yugi, he became lost and had left his younger brother and the company in order to find himself. In his absence Pegasus and the big five office heads of Kaiba Corp had a meeting and conspired to merge their two companies. Of course after Kaiba was out of the way and they had control of Mokuba. Just hearing about the truth of the situation made them all hate Pegasus even more. The other problem was that the big five wanted Yugi to be defeated in a duel so that the Kaiba name was free of any tarnish that Yugi had done when he had beaten Kaiba.

"It's all your fault. Seto deserted me because of you." Mokuba snapped.

"You don't understand." Yami told him. "Mokuba your brother hasn't deserted you, he's searching for himself."

"Liar!" Mokuba snapped as he drew another card from his hand and put it on the field. "Tell it to my monster. Go Crocodilus!"

Once again his monster was defeated by Yami's Dragon which told Abasi that Mokuba didn't have his brother's dueling skills. Yami tried to reason with him by Mokuba wasn't listening even when he told him about Grandpa. Then they figured it out what Mokuba was trying to do. If he were to beat Yugi in a duel, the Kaiba name would be restored and Pegasus wouldn't get the chance to face Yugi in a duel to take over the company. When they realized this they all turned back to Mokuba but found that he was gone.

He then appeared behind Yami. "If I can't beat you I'll have you disqualified." He grabbed some of Yami's star chips then he tried to run for it but Abasi (who had recovered from the effects of her vision) was able to stop him by grabbing his arm. "Let Me Go!" he shouted.

Abasi didn't say anything as she pulled him into a hug which took them all by surprise. Unbeknown to them she was casting a calming spell to help him see reason and listen to what they were saying. He fought her at first but after a few moments he stopped and returned the hug. "Its ok Mokunba we're here." She said well stroking his hair.

The other all joined them. "Mokuba you can't beat Pegasus this way." Yami said as he stood next to them. Mokuba looked up at him shocked. "Your big brother is just confused. After I had defeated Kaiba in our duel, I opened his mind. I removed from him all of the dark influences that clouded his thoughts and actions. Free of that evil essence Kaiba is struggling. Now your brother realized that his way wasn't the right way. He's searching his heart for answers and you know in your heart that what your doing isn't the right way either."

"But then what can I do?" he asked.

"Well you can let us help you for starters." Abasi said as she smiled at him.

"You can start by trusting in me and together we will defeat Pegasus. I promise you, we can only bring Pegasus down if we stick together. We'll help you protect your brother Mokuba but you've got to help us okay? You've got to go back and return those cards and star chip to the kid you stole them from." Yami said.

"You're right Yuig." Mokuba said looking ashamed of himself but then he looked at up at him in determination. "Then we'll take on Pegasus together."

"That's the way to be." Abasi said hugging him again before letting him go as they only had three minutes to get back to the dock and give the kid back his deck and star chips before it was too late. But as they ran over they saw the boat was already heading out to sea.

"Hey that's not far, it hasn't been a half hour yet." Tea said when they reached the dock and found pointy head waiting for them.

"Tuff luck, Pegasus sets the schedule here." He said as he turned and looked at them.

"That's it, I'm going to give you a flat top." Joey said which made Abasi looked at him confused.

Mokuba ran over to him. "You got to call the boat back, I've got to return that kids star chips to him." He said as he showed pointy head the star chips he had taken from the kid and Yugi.

The guard simply smiled before he hit Mokuba's hand, knocking the chips in to the water. "What gives? A bunch of those star chips belonged to Yugi, you big jerk." Joey snapped.

"I am so sorry Yugi." Mokuba said

"Ha! You losers should keep a tighter grip on your valuables don't you think? Than accidents like that wouldn't happen." Pointy head said as he moved closer to Mokuba, which he was unaware of.

"Mokuba, behind you." Abasi said running forward to pull him back over to their group. She was too late as Pointy Head not only grabbed him but pushed her away. She would have fallen off the dock if Yami hadn't grabbed her arm and pulled her against him.

"Hey let him go." Tea shouted.

"Ya what she said." Joey said as he and Tristan tried to move closer to them.

"I think not. This little ingrate is a special guest of Maximillian Pegasus and he's been invited to a special dinner in his honor back at the castle. Right Mokuba?" Pointy Head asked as he tightened his grip around Mokuba's neck.

"Abasi! Yugi!" Mokuba called out.

"You better let him go or I'm going to make you regret it." Abasi snapped at him ready to use her magic to get Mokuba free but Yami pushed her behind him stopping her.

"Hold on." Yami said getting his attention. "I still have three of my star chips left. I challenge you to a duel. If I win Mokuba comes with us."

"I don't know why you'd risk your chips for this puck but if that's how you want to waste your last star chips, than meet me back at arena 146 in exactly four hours. You'll have your duel." Abasi wanted to ignore the agreement and use her magic to take Mokuba back but Yami wouldn't let her as they watched him take the younger Kaiba out of sight.

"Why did you stop me? I could have saved him without you risking your last star chips." Abasi hissed at him so the others wouldn't hear.

"And at the same time reviling what you are capable of." Yami said making her look at him confused. "At the moment Pegasus is not fully aware of your magical capabilities and I believe right now that is an advantage."

"You do have a point there, sorry I snapped at you and thank you for stopping me from falling in the water." She said after realizing that he was right about why he had stopped her but it didn't help her to stop worrying about Mokuba being held captive.

Yami picked up on her worry so he put a hand on her shoulder, making her look him in the eye. "Don't worry Abasi I'll win the duel and get Mokuba away from Pegasus."

Abasi smiled. "I know you will, it just- the vision I had earlier-"

"Hey what are you two coming or what?" Tristan asked cutting her off. Abasi and Yami turned to the others and saw that well they had been talking others had all walked away, heading over to the dueling arena. Abasi went to join them but he wondered what she had just been about to tell him.

Four hours passed and they arrived at the arena for the duel. They found Pointy Head and Mokuba waiting for them. "Get him off me." Mokuba asked when he saw them.

"Mokuba! Put him down now." Yami said.

"I'll consider it, if you win the duel." Pointy Head said.

"Oh I'll beat you alright."

"I never said that I would duel. There is your opponent." Pointy Head said with a grin well pointing at the arena terminal. . "He's an old friend who's dyeing to see you again. He meet with an unfortunate end earlier today but he's come back just to duel you."

They all looked up at the terminal and felt all of their jaws drop in absolute shock because the person that was standing there was Seto Kaiba.

"What are you saying?!" Mokuba shouted.

"Kaiba!" Yami said in shock.

"Yes Yugi, it's me Kaiba. And this time you don't stand a ghost of a chance." Kiaba said with a maniacal laugh.
