Honey sank back down as the Medic grumbled under his breath, turning his attention back to the monitor and she pressed her side against his neck. Her head throbbed and her eyes felt like they were swollen from all of her sobbing, but the warmth that radiated off the metal that surrounded her made her feel as though Marian was comforting her... From wherever she was.
Remembering that her sister wasn't with her brought fresh tears to her eyes, and she gave a hiccuping sob.
Ratchet cringed at the sound. "Don't you dare start that up again."
She wailed loudly.
