I am on a roll and I don't think I'm stopping any time soon. I don't own Yugioh.

After they watched Kaiba's soulless body lead away they were taken to a dining room that had a long table full of food. As Joey and Tristan stuffed their faces the others listened to Mr. Croquet as he talked out the next stage of the tournament. "On behalf of Mr. Maximillian Pegasus I would like to congratulate the finale 4 finalist and welcome those to the finals faze of the duellist kingdom tournament. I trust you all have you playoff entry cards."

"Huh?" Everyone said confused.

"In your invitation to the duellist kingdom you received these two cards. Glory of the King's Hand and Glory of the King's Opposite Hand. You must have one of these to participate in the finales." Mr. Croquet explained as he held up copies of the cards in question. "Those without them are disqualified. Each card provides unique prices. The Glory of the King's Hand is needed to claim the 3 Million dollars cash prize. Where the opposite hand is winner to challenge Pegasus for the championship." Hearing this Joey freaked out as he didn't have either of those cards. He had only gotten into the tournament because Yuig gave him one of his star chips. Abasi was a bit worried by this news too but she could see the frustrated look on Bandit Keith's face and knew he didn't have one either. She would have to warn the others to keep their cards close.

"To make tomorrows tournament interesting our host has added a special ingredient to your soup." Mr. Coquet said and it was almost if on cue 4 eyes that looked similar to Pegasus Millennium Item bobbed to the surface of the soups in Yugi, Mai, Joey's and Keith's bowls. Joey and Tea freaked out but the rest of them didn't. "Ah! It's staring at me." Tea said from her seat next to Yugi well Tristan checked his bowl for one. Abasi was didn't really listen or pay much attention after that as she started picking at her food. A plan was starting to form in her mind about how she could help Mokuba and Kaiba get free of Pegasus's grasp. It mostly hinged on what spells she would find in her families spell book when she got a chance to look at it in privet. Her thought were suddenly interrupted as a plate loaded with food was placed in front of her. "Huh?"

"You better eat most or all of it." Tea said giving her a look. "You're as white as a ghost and you look like your got to faint again."

"You need to keep up your strength Abasi." Yugi said as the others (save Keith to her relief) agreed with him. Abasi looked at Yugi and she could see that he had a different meaning behind his words then what the others were and she nodded to show she understood him. When they were done eating, they were each shown to different bedroom to sleep in for the night. As Bakura and Tristan disappeared in their rooms Tea, Joey, Abasi and Yugi stayed out in the hall for a moment to talk.

"Yugi listen. Thanks again for bailing me out. You're the best pal." Joey said happily. Well they had been in the dining room Yugi had given Joey his copy of Gory of the King's Hand card, which meant Joey could compete tomorrow. Yugi nodded smiling. "Well time to catch some zizzes."

"Don't snore to load." Tea said and Joey denied it.

"Hey Joey just a heads up. Hide your Glory card. I don't think Bandit Keith has one and I wouldn't put it past him to seal yours." Abasi whispered so Bandit Keith wouldn't over hear as she knew he was down the hall watching them. Joey didn't say anything in recognition of what she said but gave her a thumbs up as he headed to his room.

"Um Yugi can I talk to you in privet for a moment." Abasi said once the others were gone. Yugi nodded and let her into his room. The moment the door was closed Abasi placed her hand on it and she quickly placed a silencing spell on it and all around room. "Abasi you should be careful about using your magic here. What if Pegasus finds out?" Yugi said.

"Yugi that is the least of my concern right now." Abasi said as she took a seat in a chair. "When I used that sealing spell on Yama to force him back into your puzzle I was pulled into it too." Yugi stared at her as Abasi told him about the conversation she and Yami had well they were together. Since they were finally alone Yugi also had her to tell him about all the visons she had since the tournament stared.

"It seems that your visons were telling you all along that Kaiba situation was dire but we couldn't act on them." Yugi said dismally.

"More like failed to when we or I should say I let Kimo make off with Mokuba. Then this whole situation could have been avoided." Abasi said sadly and Yugi nodded also sad but she could see his worry. Abasi could tell that Yugi was avoiding talking about Yami as she retched over and took Yugi's hand. "Yugi I know right now all you want to do is rescue your grandpa and were all behind you. I also know that you're scared of what Yami almost did. He regrets it and wants to patch things up between the two of you." she said kindly.

Yugi was silent for a moment before he spoke. "I can't trust him Abasi. He was willing to kill Kaiba in order to win."

"And sometimes that is that is what life gives us." Yugi looked at her shocked but she smiled. "When that happens, you have to decide if you're going to go right along with the situation presented to you. Or if you're going to fight your hardest to change it to work in your favor. Besides he has been there to help you so much in the past, so don't give up on him yet." She gave his hand a squeezed before she dismissed the spell and said good night.

Abasi hadn't been in her own room very long and had just pulling out her family's spell book when there was a knock on her door. She left the book on the bed and opened the door to find Pegasus standing there looking down at her as he smiled kindly. Abasi's mouth went dry as she stared at him in shock. "May I come in Miss Klashi? There is a few matters I wish to disguise with you." He asked as he walked right pass her into the room.

Abasi left the door open as she turned to look at him and trying to get moister back into her mouth. "What could you possibly have to say to me sir?" she asked hoping if she played dumb he would leave soon enough.

"First I wish to pay my condolences to you my dear." he said as he bowed to her, sorrow clear on his face, surprising her. "I had heard about your dear parents deaths during the Egyptian tournament and that was why I had not invited you to compete in this tournament. I knew you would be morning their lose and wanted to give you that time. That and you moved. Imagine my surprise when I saw you dueling Marcus Finch and easily trouncing him in a matter of moments. It was exhilarating to watch,"

Abasi gowned her teeth in frustration and fighting the urge to burn the man where he stood for seeming so nice but she knew he wasn't. "I thank you for being concordat of my parent's deaths." she said in an even voice.

Pegasus nodded as he walked closer to the bed and her spell book. "I knew your parents actually. They were a great help when I was doing research in Egypt. They were in a séance the foot stones to my creating the Duel Monster's game as they pointed me in the right direction. I actually have some things of theirs that I wanted to give back to you if you want them." he said as he studied her.

Abasi was openly glaring at him now as her body shook. "I want nothing from you save return of Yugi's grandpa, Mokuba's and Kaiba's souls back into their bodies." she snapped at him well she clenched her hands into fist.

"Oh how interesting. You care about Kaiba boy and his kid brother. You must have feelings for him. Dose Yugi boy know?" Pegasus teased clearly trying to get a rise out of her as his smile grew.

It was in that moment that Abasi suspected that he might already know that she had magic and was trying to get her to use it against him. If that happened he might counter act her and then in prison her. Then she wouldn't be able to help any of her friends. So counting to ten in her mind Abasi made herself calm down as she chose her next words carefully. "I do not care for Kaiba in the way you are suggesting Mr. Pegasus, well Yugi and I are just friends. Now if that is all you have to say to me please leave as I need to get some sleep."

Pegasus looked disappointed by her response as he reached out and went to pick up her spell book. The moment his hand touched it he received a shock that burned his hand. He yelped as he pulled away from it. Abasi went to pick it up but found that she was suddenly frozen in place, she couldn't even breath. She heard him laugh as Pegasus tried again as his Millennium Eye glowed and this time was able to pick up her spell book. "Did you really think that I wasn't aware of your magic my dear? Your Magic makes you stick out, just like Yugi's puzzle and Bakura's ring do." he whispered in her ear before he left her room with a chuckle. The moment she heard the door shut she was unfrozen and dropped to her knees to the floor.

Abasi was shacking as she took in shaky breaths as tears welled up in her eyes and fell to the floor. She couldn't believe it, had been powerless to stop him from freezing. She couldn't stop him from taking the souls of the Kaiba brothers or Yugi's grandpa. She couldn't even stop him from taking her family's most prized position. She was useless and a wait of space. Abasi could see her amulet hanging from her neck as she cried not noticing that the green jewel was lightly glowing.

She was brought out of her sorrow as she felt a feather light touch on her shoulder and Yami's voice reached her ears. "Abasi are you alright?" she noticed that he was in spirit form as she could see right through him but she could clearly see the concern on his face.

"No I'm not Yami I'm not. I'm useless. I haven't been much help to you, or Yugi or any of the others." she whined trying to whip her tears. "I didn't even try to help Kaiba in his duel against Pegasus or stop his soul from being taken. All because I wanted to keep my magic hidden from Pegasus so I could help you and Yugi in your duel. It's all been for nothing as he was just here and said that he knew about my magic and easily stopped me dead in my tracks. He even took my family's spell book and it's supposed to be protected by the strongest of protection spells that stop unwelcome people from touching it. I just don't know what to do anymore."

Yami didn't say anything as she cried but he did wrap his arms around her and Abasi stiffened as she realised that she could feel him holding her. She almost calmed down immediately as she grasped one of his hands. Neither of them spoke as they stayed there till Abasi's tears had dried and she was completely calm. Finally she broke the silence. "How did you know that I was upset?"

"I could séance a great sadness from deep inside the Millennium Puzzle and when I concentrated I realised that it was you." he said as he pulled her closer till her head was under his chin. He was also a bit surprised that even though he was in spirit form that he could touch her at all. Not that he was complaining much at the moment. "I understand your frustration Abasi but you are being too hard on yourself at the moment. You may not realise it but you have done more good here on the island then you think. Your simply too tired to see it."

Abasi leaned against him as she thought his words over. "I guess your right but I'm too worried about tomorrow to sleep. I had planned to look and see if there were any spells I could quickly learn that would be of help tomorrow." she explained.

"And if you had and then did something wrong well attempting the spells?" Yami asked making her pause. "Then you would do more harm than good. Learning any new skill takes time to master before you can use it properly. Also a tired mind dose not learn. You need a good night's rest and I suggest you take it well you can. Yugi, Joey and I will need your strength tomorrow."

Abasi sighed as her body agreed with his reasoning. "Alright." she said as she pulled out of his arms and turned off the light before heading to the bed. She pulled off her coat well kicking off her shoes and soon crawled into bed. She looked up at Yami as he stared to fade, smiling at as she fell asleep instantly.

Tea was sitting on her bed too wide awake to sleep when she got a knock on her door. Opening it she found Tristan and Bakura standing there. "What's up guys?"

"Trouble Tea." Tristan said.

"Tristan thinks that Pegasus cheats in all of his duels." Bakura said.

"Well he does." Tristan snapped at the white haired boy before he turned back to Tea. She invited them in and they talked about the duel between Pegasus and Kaiba. Tristan was pretty sure that Pegasus had cheated as that was the only way he could have known what cards was in Kaiba's hand. "Even if you're right about Pegasus what can we do Tristan?" Tea sked.

"Plenty, we'll find out how Pegasus cheated. There has to be some clue at the dueling platform. We'll expose Pegasus for the fraud he is." Tristan said.

"With all the guards everywhere we'll need help for Yugi, Abasi and Joey." Bakura said.

"No Yugi and Joey have to rest for the tournament and Abasi is clearly sick and needs rest. Besides a herd of elephants won't wake Joey. It's up to us, we have to do this all by our self's." Tristan said and with that being said the three of them snuck out of the guest wing and to the main area where the dueling platform was kept.

Meanwhile Yugi was a sleep and started to hear his grandpa's voice calling for him. He sat up in bed. "Grandpa is that you?" he asked looking for him.

"Yugi I must speak with you." Grandpa said.

"Grandpa where are you?" Yugi shouted not caring if he woke anyone.

"Fallow my voice." was all he got as a response. Yugi barely took the time to put his shoes on and burst out the door calling for his grandpa. "Yugi beware of Pegasus. You must stop him or he could destroy the entire world."

"Pegasus?" Yugi said before he took off running down the hall fallowing the voice of his grandpa. "I'm coming grandpa. He ran through the halls searching well he fallowed. He soon found himself out side in a court yard. "Grandpa where are you? I can't find you?!" he heard the call coming from the ground and it was there he found a card with his grandpa on it.

"Beware of Pegasus. He wields shadow powers of incredible strength but stronger than anyone could have imagined." Grandpa said.

"But how? How is that posable?" Yugi asked as he knelt closer to the card and picked it up. "Grandpa tell me how can Pegasus shadow magic still be growing in power?"

"Every soul he traps in the Shadow realm increases his strength." Grandpa explained. This upset Yugi enough to punch the ground in frustration.

"He's got to be stopped." Yugi said. Suddenly Grandpa's card flew out of Yugi's hand and on to one of three stone pillars. There he saw that Kaiba and Mokuba were on the other two. "This is wrong. This is terrible." Both of the Kaiba begged for his help and that he would be next as Pegasus wanted him. Yugi asked them why.

Grandpa explained. "Pegasus unlock tremendous magic with his single Millennium item. How much power do you think he'll weld if he has your puzzle?" Yugi was shocked but asked how he could stop Pegasus. Grandpa explained that he need to learn to harness the power of his puzzle just as Pegasus did with his eye. Grandpa said Yugi would have to discover how on his own as even Absai could not help him. She was still learning about her own great power. "Whatever it takes, Pegasus must be defeated. If he wins with is unlimited shadow powers and the magic of the millennium items he can unleash Armageddon on the entire world."

As Grandpa said this white flames appeared between Yugi and the pillars. "Grandpa!" Yugi shouted in concern.

"You can do this, I believe in you. Unlock the secret of the Millennium Puzzle. Only then can you defeat Pegasus." Grandpa shouted before the Kaiba brothers cries came again and the flams grew.

Yugi shot up covered in sweat and realised that he was still in bed. "It was all just a dream or was it? Now I know how Abasi feels." he said as he flopped back on the bed.

After searching the area around the dueling platform Tristan, Tea and Bakura found what they suspected was a spy hole. When Tristan looked threw the hole he saw that there was a tower right across from it. They suspected that one of Pegasus's men could have been looking at cards with a telescope. Determined to find evidence they walked around the castle, avoiding guards as they did trying to get to the tower. In the end Tristan had the hair brain idea to climb into the tower window with a rope. "Your plans are horrible." Bakura said once they were at the tower's window and Tea opened it, going in first.

"I got you up here safe and sound didn't I?" Tristan asked unaffected by his friends gripping. The two of them joined Tea in searching the tower room but they didn't find any signs of a telescope or any other clues to suggest Pegasus was cheating.

"Who do you suppose this is?" Bakura asked looking at the large painting of a beautiful women.

"What that's a mighty big painting." Tristan said.

"Can you find a light switch?" Tea asked one of the guys but as asked the light was turned on and they could see it was a bigger version of the same painting that was hanging in the dining room. It was clear that she must be important to Pegasus in some way. "I haven't seen her at all since we've been in the castle. Do you think that maybe she Pegasus-?"

Tea was cut off by the sounds for someone coming up the stairs and when they turned they found a smiling Pegasus standing there. "Isn't pass your bed times?" he asked smugly.

"How'd you find us?" Tristan demanded ready for a fight.

"A little birdy told me it saw you climbing up the walls." Pegasus said.

"Ya well we're onto you Pegsy. Listen up, you've been spying on Kaiba's cards from up here. The gig is up, why don't you just admit it?" Tristan accused.

Pegasus fund this funny as he chuckled. "Hum. You break into my privet sanctuary from the window and accuse me of wrong doing? Absolutely no one is allowed in this room and I'm afraid you three have seen too much."

"What do you mean?" Tristan asked.

"You should have stayed in your rooms. Instead you will now be disciplined." Pegasus said as he moved his hair to revile his Millennium eye which glowed brightly. In a flash the three teens were sent to what looked like an ancient tomb and they could hear chanting. Fallowing it they soon found them self's in a huge chamber filled with men in cloaks.

"Realms of shadow in this twilight hour except this souls and grant us power. Realms of shadows in this twilight hour except this souls and grant us power." Is what they chanted over and over again till they all said "Begin." and two cloaked men who were in the middle of the camber raised stone tablets from the floor. One of these had Blue-Eyes White dragon on it and it defeated the other man's stone tablet. The man shouted as he seemed to vanish in to shadows. The three of them gasped at the spectacle and this gained the attention of the men. They three of them were soon surrounded. The man who had been dueling raised his hood and reviled that it was Pegasus, who smiled at them.

"Hey where'd that robe guy go?" Tristan asked.

"The Shadow Realm." was Pegasus answer.

"Shadow Realm? Not again." Tea said sounding scared. Neither she nor Tristan noticed Bakura's eyes narrow.

"This is how the Shadow Games were played thousands of years ago. These duel rituals released the magic of the shadow realm. And every soul I trap there increase the power of my Millennium Eye." Pegasus told them. "You can't imagine the strength of my magic but one power still alludes me. The ability to control life over death. For that magic I must capture more souls like yours."

"Whoa he's going to send us all to the shadow realm." Tristan said well Tea cowered in fear.

"It's not my fault. I simply can's allow you to escape after you've snooped around my castle and learned all my secrets. I hope the accommodations in the shadow realm are to your liking and Bakura your capture will do more than strengthen my shadow powers. For I shell also gain control of your millennium Ring." Pegasus was over joyed by this turn of events. That is until he séance the dark soul in side of Bakura and it was not happy.

The dark spirit laughed. "Change of plans." The two items glowed brightly as the ancient spirit easily subdued Pegasus with ease. He then use the rings dark powers to erase the events that happened from their minds. Soon when Tea and Tristan awoke back in their rooms with headaches, bad nightmares and feelings of dread. Meanwhile Evil Bakura vowed to make Pegasus's Millennium eye his.

Abasi stood on the balcony that over looked the dueling platform and she watched once again as Kaiba was defeated, his soul removed. Then the room disintegrated into a dungeon where she saw Mokuba was chained up, his eyes still blank. Then she was in Grandpa's hospital room. She could hear the heart monitor beeping as it filled the room. The beeping started to slow as the room started to fill with cries of help from her friends.

"Abasi, help!" Tea's voice sounded despite before she screamed.

"The Darkness is closing in" Never in the short time she had known him had Abasi ever heard Tristan's filled with so much fear.

"I'm scared of the dark." Joey shouted.

"Abasi you have to help us you're the only one who can." Yugi called out in pain, she could feel it.

Abasi tried to cover her ears to drown out their cries of help but it built up her own fear. "No, I'm not strong enough!" she shouted as the monitor's beeping grew slower until it turned to a long continues tone. She felt her own heart break as she looked at Yugi's grandpa in shock. "No, please no!" she tried to run to Soloman's bed but she discovered that she was stuck. Looking down she saw back tentacles of shadows wrapping around her legs as the hospital room fell away. The shadows continued to wrap further up her legs as she tried to pull herself free well racking her brain for a spell that could help. But she couldn't remember any spells and the shadows were soon up to her waist.

"Abasi!" Looking up she and saw Yami running towards her. They reached for each other but he never retched her as the shadow grabbed his ankles, making him fall. All Abasi could do was watch as Yami struggled against the shadows and was soon swallowed by them. "No Yami!" she cried out before the shadows covered her face. In that moment she stopped fighting, she gave up. What was the point if she couldn't protect those she cared about the most?

Suddenly there was a blinding silver light as someone grabbed her hand and pulled her out of the shadows. The shadows disappeared completely as familiar arms wrapped around her protectively. "It's alright Abasi, I'm here."

"Mom I'm so scared." Abasi sobbed as she berried her face into her mother's shoulder. "Pegasus is taking souls of the living, he's too powerful for me to fight. I came to duellist kingdom to help but what can I do against someone as strong as him? How can I help my friends?"

Asami held her daughter close as she stroked her hair. "Oh sweat heart, it is as the Pharaoh has already told you, you already have been a great help to your new friends. You have been giving great helpful advice to Joey, you've made sure that Tea and Tristan have been safe and you have supported Yugi and the Pharaoh when they have needed you the most." she said kindly.

"Pharaoh?" Abasi asked confused as she pulled back to look at her mother.

"He does not remember it yet but Yami was once a great Pharaoh 5,000 years ago. He saved the world by sealing away the Shadow Games along with his memoires. He along with Yugi have a great destiny a head of them and you are meant to help them." Asami explained.

"But-"

"You must first believe in yourself and in your ability's. You are capable of so much and like having faith in the heart of the cards, you must have in yourself. Sometimes the simplest actions can accomplish more than the strongest spell you can ever cast. It all comes down to your will and strength." Asami said before she placed a kiss on Abasi forehead and vanished.

Abasi woke up with tears in her eyes as sunlight came into the room form the window. As she sat up and whipped her eyes, she noticed that her deck was glowing. Picking it up she looked through that cards until she found that the glow was coming from her Protector of the Throne card. This made her smile as she held the card to her chest. "Thanks mom."
