Big Bro Battle

Jack's pov

Ah! Today's a really great day. School's over, my allowance got raised and I've got a date with Kim. I think that's the greatest part of my day. i was all dressed up and I went to the mall to wait for Kim. She's basically the best girlfriend a guy could ever have. She's smart, caring, funny, annoyingly-but-adorably sarcastic, mischievous sometimes, strong, confident and she's pretty. See, I considered all her moral traits first before I considered her beauty. Cause that's the way I am. I look at who you are on the inside before I look at you on the outside. My thoughts were interrupted when I heard a familiar voice afar. I turned and saw my Kimmy and...

"...a dude?!" I hid behind something so that they wouldn't spot me. I continued watching them. "Why are they smiling at each other? Why are they laughing? Why are they holding hands?! Okay Jack, pull yourself together and don't jump into conclusions. It's Kim. She would never do this to you, She loves and cares about you...right?" I saw them coming in my direction so I hid myself fully. They passed my hiding place and entered the dojo. I came out of my hiding place and started to think aloud

"Surely she couldn't have found another guy. She can't cheat on me. She told me that she would never do such a thing when we got together." I said. I was interrupted when my phone buzzed. I brought it out to see a text...from Kim. I sighed and opened it

'Hey Jackie! Where are you? You're usually at the dojo at this time, and I thought you would be there waiting for me so we could go on our date. Anyways, there's someone I would like you to meet. Hope to see you soon! xoxo

~Kim'

I didn't know if I should be angry or feel bad. Feel bad because she's looking for me. Be angry because she wants me to meet her new boyfriend.

'Are you crazy?! You said you wouldn't jump to conclusions! That can't be Kim's boyfriend cause you're her boyfriend!' my mind yelled at me

"They sure are acting like a couple" I said to myself dully

'Pull yourself together, soldier! Where's the Jack that would defend Kim in any situation? This situation included!' My mind said. It did have a point. And it gave me an idea.

"Hmm... I know what to do" I said. I took a deep breath and entered the dojo. Everyone there was laughing and talking so they didn't really notice me. Until Milton turned and saw me

"Oh hey Jack! Where have you been?" he asked. This caused the others to turn and look at me. Kim's face brightened but mine remained dull. She came over to me and gave me a hug

"Did you see my text? I was worried." she said. But I gently pushed her away and looked at her

"Why? Were you worried that I wasn't going to hear the news of your new boyfriend?" I said coldly. She gave a confused look

'WHY ARE YOU SO STUPID?! DON'T MAKE THIS BAD FOR YOURSELF!' my mind yelled at me, but I ignored it

"What on earth are you talking about?" she asked

"Don't act dumb Kim. I know you better than that. So you went behind my back to find some other guy?"

"What? I'm so confused!"

"That guy I saw you with earlier! Smiling, laughing, holding hands... I don't need a seer to tell me that you're cheating on me." I said. She looked so dumbfounded. She rose her finger, about to defend herself, but her face fell and so did her finger. She had a sad and disappointed look on her face

"You were spying on me?" she asked. Of course not!

'FIX THIS JACK! YOU'RE LOSING THE GAME AND THE GIRL!' my mind yelled again

"I can't believe you Jack! I thought you trusted me!" she said looking a bit hurt

"I do trust you Kim. I just thought you trusted me back. I never knew you would do this to me" I said

"But I would never do something like this to you! Were are you getting these assumptions from?!"

"My eyes saw, my mind concluded, my heart broke." I saw shaking my head.

"Why were you jumping to conclusions? Heck, why were you spying on me in the first place?!"

"I WAS NOT SPYING ON YOU!"

"AND I'M NOT CHEATING ON YOU! WHY CAN'T YOU LISTEN TO-"

"Hey hey hey! I never concluded any-" my mind started but I cut it off

"SHUT UP! SHUT THE FREAKIN' HELL UP!" I yelled at the top of my voice. It was directed to my mind, but Kim thought I was talking to her. She looked at me with a look of fear and I could see her eyes watering up. Oh no...

"You're not the Jack that I fell in love with! You're a monster! A weird, conclusion-jumping, spying monster! I never want to see you again!" she yelled and ran out. The guys just looked at me

"Ooooo..." they chorused and I sighed.

"Is everything okay guys? I heard yelling..." I heard a voice say. I turned and saw a figure coming out of the boys locker room. It was him. It was the guy I saw with Kim. The reason Kim's mad at me. He was pretty tall and had blondish-brown hair and a masculine body. When I saw him, I heated up. He turned to me and smiled "Hey! You must be-"

I cut him off by running to him and sweeping his legs off the ground with a leg swipe. He fell hard and I jumped on him trying to attack him. The rest of the guys ran to us and tried to remove me from his top. It was a tough struggle but they managed to get me off him. He stood up. He was taller than me but that didn't intimidate me

"I'll kill you! I'll tear you to pieces! I'll perform a fatality! Brutality! Animality! Babality...!" I said while the guys held me back (Yay! Mortal Kombat references!)

"Dude! Calm down!" said Jerry

"Where's my sister? Where's Kim?" the dude asked. That's when I felt like my soul left my body. I turned pale and gaped at him

"Uh oh" I said and so did my mind.

"I said, where's Kim?!" he asked again.

"She ran out" said Eddie. The dude ran outside the dojo and the guys let go of me

"Maaaan, you're in trouble..." said Jerry, but I ignored his comment

"What have I done? I gotta fix this!" I said and ran out too

Kim's pov

I was sitting on a park bench with my head hanging, feeling pretty down. I can't believe Jack would spy on me and think I'm cheating on him. It's like he doesn't trust me at all. I could hear footsteps come near me and I saw a pair of legs stop by me. I thought it was Jack so I didn't bother looking up.

"What do you want, Jack?" I asked

"Who's Jack?" asked the guy. I looked up and saw it was my brother. I sighed as he sat next to me. "Are you okay Kim?"

"Well let's analyze my situation. My boyfriend was spying on me and thinks I'm cheating on him...with you" I said awkwardly

"Doesn't he know we're related?"

"I doubt. I took you to the dojo so you could meet him. But he wasn't there. I don't know what to do" I said, tears creeping into my eyes.

"I know what'll cheer you up. Vanilla cupcake with extra frosting!" he announced

"With lots of sprinkles?" I asked with a fake baby voice

"Is there any other way? Be right back." he said standing up and going to a store. I smiled a little as he left, but I was still down about Jack.

"Hey..." I heard a voice and turned to the source. I turned back my head immediately, seeing who it was "Look, can we talk?"

"What do you want Jack? Don't worry, I'm not with a guy" I said codly

"That's what I wanna talk about. First, I'm sorry for yelling at you. I shouldn't have done that."

"It's too late for sorry" I said, my head still turned away from him.

"Can we work at out?"

"...Fine"

"Look at me at least." he said. I turned to him, shooting him a glare. He shielded his eyes like it was an arrow being shot at him

"Well?" he put down his hand and I stood up. He looked at me straight in the eyes

"Kim, I..."

"Shut up" I said and hugged him. I could tell he was shocked. I hugged him tighter, small sobs escaping my mouth. He hugged me back equally

"I am so...so sorry" he said

"So am I" I said, tears escaping my eyes. "I was being stupid"

"Actually, it's all my fault. I shouldn't have accused you of cheating on me. It was really stupid of me" he said. We let go of each other and he held my hands.

"But why were you spying on me?" I asked

"That's the thing. I wasn't. I was looking for you so we could go on our date. Then I saw you with another guy and my mind started getting messed up" he said with a half smile. I watched him as he muttered something sharply. He turned to me "Sorry. Arguing with my mind"

"You are a very weird boy Jack. But that's one of the many things I love about you" I said with a smile. We hugged again but were interrupted when we heard a voice behind us.

"Am I interrupting something?" asked the voice. Jack and I broke aprt and I turned to the person

"Ya think?" I said a little annoyed. It was my brother with my cupcake! Yay! "Thanks for the cupcake!"

"No problem" he said and turned to Jack. "We meet again"

"Yeah.. sorry about what happened back in the dojo" said Jack with an embarassed look on his face

"No problem. I'm Dwayne." he said and they shook hands

"Dwayne's my brother, as you know. What you don't know though is that he arrived from Australia this morning. I hadn't seen him in the past 3 years, so I decided to spend some time with him before our date. That's why you saw us." I explained to Jack.

"That makes alot of sense." said Jack

"So you're the guy who stole Kim's heart." said Dwayne and he turned to me, giving me a playful punch on the arm. "My little Kimmy is growing up"

"Your little Kimmy can also beat you up" I said punching him in the stomach. He clenched it and nodded in pain. "Well, Jack, let's get going! Don't wanna miss our date!" I said and left

Normal pov

Dwayne turned to Jack

"You make her really happy."

"Yeah. And so does she. I'm so glad I got her"

"Sure... Don't break her heart"

"Huh?"

"Trust me. She's never found a guy like you. When I was still in Australia, she always sent messages to me talking about you. She really loves you, man. So take good care of her. I have a good feeling about you."

"I will... I promise"

Jack then ran to meet Kim while Dwayne went on his way home
