The words tumbled out of Marian's mouth before she could stop them, and the seat she was situated in jerked forward, causing her forehead to smack into the glovebox as Knock Out spoke. "I am completely serious."

She slowly sat up straight, grimacing as her throbbing head felt as though her brain was trying to beat its way out of her skull. "Was that really necessary?"

"I did tell you to not question me."

"It's not my fault you keep trying to make me do stupid things!"

Her face slammed into the glovebox again. "No back-talking!"
