A/N: I'm seriously cracking up at everybody's responses to the past several chapters. Just curious; how many of you are genuinely frustrated with Knock Out right now?

Chapter 142: She's Awake! (Again)
Marian was startled back into consciousness as her lungs painfully and suddenly expelled water, sending sharp jolts of agony throughout the right side of her ribcage. She coughed and spluttered, rolling onto her left side as she tried to avoid choking on the water, all while her brain groggily attempted to figure out what the Hell had just happened. She recalled that she had been sketching a mountain so that she could paint it later when-
"Oh! You're finally awake!"
She instantly remembered being kidnapped and nearly drowned by Knock Out at the sound of the too cheery voice.
