Marian released a low, keening cry of pain, tears freely flowing from her tired eyes as her ribs wailed in agony from being poked by the large, mech. Her ribs just had to be broken: there was no other explanation that she could think of. How did she break her ribs? The last thing she remembered was the water flooding her lungs... She thought she had drowned! How did she get out of the water? Another poke sent her thoughts scattering and she yelped loudly, wrapping her arms around her torso in an attempt to prevent it from happening again.
