"Something's different." Not the worlds I expected from Felicity after break.

"What makes you say that?"

"You're smiling, your hair is curly and down, and you seem to be floating on cloud nine. Did you meet someone over break?!"

"Uh…"

"YOU TOTALLY DID! SPILL! WHO IS HE?! HOW'D YOU MEET!?"

"He's not new per se…" I cringe a bit as I wait for her to explode or something.

"Oh. My. God. No way… you worked it out with him?"

"There was a bunch of miscommunication. You can meet him if you want...?" I say hoping she'll say yes.

"When?"

"In like 5 minutes when he comes back with my coffee?" Her face lights up.

"He came with you?!" I nod.

"Ness?" There's a knock at the door.

"Come in!" Felicity's voice calls back before I even can. Jake's head peaks around the door as he opens it.

"You must be Felicity. Ness has nothing but nice things to say about you. I'm Jacob." Felicity gives him a once over before she looks in my direction with her eyebrows raised. She smiles lightly.

"Yes I am Felicity. Now Jacob is it? Can I give you a quick piece of advice?"

"Uh, sure?" Jake glances in my direction and I shrug.

"Renesmee's been my roommate for a year now so I would say I know her pretty well. She's the best thing that will ever walk into your life. You hurt her again and you will have me to answer to! I may be shorter than you, but I can pack a punch ok?!" Jake smiles before he speaks.

"Trust me I know she's the best thing. I'm not letting her go ever again!" He smiles at me and I can't help but smile back at him.

"Ok, you too are sickly sweet so stop making goo goo eyes at each other before I throw up on all the stuff I still need to unpack!"

"Well, I want to get some practice in so we'll leave you to unpack in peace." I say reaching for my practice bag. Jake beats me to it and picks it up with one hand while his other arm wraps around my shoulders.

"Already showing us all up and it's not even day one yet!" Felicity rolls her eyes but her smile tells me she isn't actually angry. "But being real, I'm not sure if the classrooms are open today since classes don't start until tomorrow."

"Well if they aren't I'm sure Ness and I will find something else in the city to see for a few hours." Jake says with a smile. "Central Park would be fun to see." He throws out as an idea, more to me than to Felicity.

"Well I'll see you later then, and I expect some answers." Felicity says with a smile.

"Bye Felicity!" I say without promising anything.

"Answers?" Jake asks as the door shuts behind us.

"How we got back together. But I bet if I talk about how much I love you, she'll be so disgusted by our cuteness that she'll wish she never asked." I smirk as I show him that idea in my mind. He chuckles and pulls me closer.

"I love you, even if you're an evil genius sometimes."
