"Hatchet. I don't have money." Honey deadpanned.

"Just get in!" He barked at her, and she huffed, rolling her eyes as she climbed into the passenger seat.

Now, some may think that he was overreacting, but he had just spent last night making sure this human child ate some red goop out of the refrigeration unit called "lasagna", ensuring she didn't drown in a tub of water as she splashed around "bathing", and listened to her prattle on and on about rocks as she did her school work.

He was not letting her die now because of a pancake deficiency.
