CHAPTER THIRTY-SEVEN

The Great King of Evil

As soon as the trees had sealed off the entrance behind her, Saya had never felt more alone in her life. She regretted leaving Lucas alone like that, but what other choice did she have?

"It's going to be alright. I'll make it back to him." she told herself. "Well…here goes everything."

She began to walk along the path, finding herself unable to run in this cursed place. A thin mist ran along the ground, curling around her feet and seeming to slither up the trees. The trees themselves arched upward and reached outward in every kind of direction like clawed shadows, and the worst part about this whole place was what she heard: nothing. The place was just too quiet.

She guessed that quiet was what had driven her to suicide when she had last entered this place. Maybe the rustling of leaves or the crunching of twigs beneath her feet would have distracted her from the demons or angry spirits or whatever it had been whispering in her ears. Join us. Come with us to hell. You will never leave. All things she had heard that gradually brought her to madness. She heard the voices even now, beckoning the same things again and again and again.

"Welcome back, Saya…"

"Join uuuuuussssss…"

"Let us take you away…"

Saya ignored the horrid voices and pressed on, following the twisting path as it started to rise…rise? It may have been hundreds of years since she last set foot here, but she didn't remember the path rising. Or spiralling around in a circle as it started to rise upward. Did Ganondorf have full control over the landscape? It seemed Jedah and all of them hadn't lied. Yami responded far better to Ganondorf than he did to her.

"Oh, God. Lucas was right. He's getting too strong…I have to stop him. Now."

She broke into a run, her mind somehow tricking her every once in a while into thinking there was something chasing her even though all she heard where her own thumping footsteps and the loud beating of her own heart. The faster she ran, the more anxious she got. She didn't know how much it would take out of her to defeat Ganondorf, but she'd give everything if she had to. She wouldn't just let him win. Even if she died trying, she wouldn't surrender.

As she rounded what seemed like the final spiral after having broken a considerable sweat, she came to a stop at the peak of this large hill forming a massive platform. Despite how high she had come, she was nowhere near the forest's canopy. She couldn't even see the canopy through the thick shadows overhead, and it had even grown so dark that she could barely see her own hand in front of her face. Only the moonlight shining through from wherever the leaves were gave him awareness of her surroundings. The light shone on a silvery pool in the center of the wooden platform she stood on, and with no other objects of interest in sight, she steadily approached it and stared down into the water. She naturally saw her own reflection staring back at her for a moment, but then it began to change.

Though one could call "change" an understatement.

The reflection tilted its head back and grew a sadistic smile, growing too wide for its face and starting to open before an audible crack rang through the air. Then came another few moments of silence before the real Saya winced as a high-pitched scream echoed through the forest. It grew louder and louder until it seemed to shake the trees themselves. Saya covered her eyes, wishing it would stop, and it did, but what happened next wasn't much better.

Her reflection had melted into a grotesque being with a skull-like face with empty eye sockets and bared teeth. The creature's skin was a pale white, stained in numerous spots on its body with what appeared to be blood. It held its stumped excuses for arms up in a shrug-like manner, and once Saya made visual contact with it for a few seconds, the reflection vanished.

Then the lake began to split apart into eight small pools, all of them spreading out and surrounding Saya. She drew her blade and watched the pools gather around and steadily begin to stretch.

"What in the name of…"

As soon as she had the thought to try and move away, the eight pools quickly rose up into eight elongated and bloody white arms, each with red claws at the ends of their fingers. Saya found her limbs each seized by two of the vile appendages and pulled into a completely defenseless state, brutally straining her and forcing out a cry of pain. No matter how hard she pulled against their grip, the hands wouldn't release her. Even worse was that her struggling seemed to catch the attention of the hands' owner, and from the ground emerged the disgusting creature she had seen in the water.

Saya felt like screaming as it started to move slowly toward her, scuttling along the ground like a snail and waving back and forth in a strange kind of dance. She thrashed against the hands again. No luck. The creature came closer, letting her hear it panting. Hard, fast, and strained. Like that of a madman.

"Get away from me!" she shouted as though the beast would listen.

The Dead Hand kept coming, and the strength of its grip increased as though threatening to rip her limbs clean off. She growled under her breath, pulling as hard as she could and finally managing to get one arm loose only for it to be seized again. Saya sucked in a furious breath and went wide-eyed as the Dead Hand finally came to a stop right in front of her, bending its giraffe-like neck and revealing its hideous face. It stared directly into Saya's eyes for a brief moment before it opened its mouth, its jaw detaching like that of a snake.

"ALRIGHT, THAT'S ENOUGH!" Saya finally shouted.

With a mighty cry, Saya sent a powerful pulse through her body and repelled the eight hands, and as the Dead Hand launched its head forward, Saya took her sword in hand and rammed it into the creature's mouth. It pierced through its head, and the Dead Hand let out a low groan as Saya pulled the blade back before it fell onto the ground and stopped moving, melting back into the familiar silver liquid and slithering away into the woods.

Saya had no time to calm herself after such a horrific encounter when a familiar laugh echoed through the air. She then heard hands clapping together in mock applause, and she furrowed her brow as Ganondorf and Ghirahim descended into view, the former wearing a cocky smirk upon his face.

"That was quite entertaining, Saya Kusanagi." the evil king said. "You have done well!"

Yami's power must have taken greater effect on Ganondorf than Saya could have ever foreseen. His hair was considerably longer, draping behind his shoulders like a wavy red lion's mane. His eyes glowed a menacing red, and a light aura gathered around him almost like a light fire. By his side stood Ghirahim, though he too had gone through a massive change, his skin a charcoal black with a white diamond pattern along it and his eyes completely blank.

"Under normal circumstances, I would call you a fool for daring to challenge me." Ganondorf said. "But as you and I both know, you are no ordinary opponent."

"Spare me your patronising." Saya growled as she held her blade at the ready. "I didn't come this far just to have you talk my ears off of."

Ghirahim growled under his breath and stepped toward Saya with his fist raised.

"Right. You came this far to die screaming, but please feel free to spare us the effort and drop dead this instant, you disgusting little brat!"

"That's real nice coming from the biggest drama queen I've ever met." Saya spat.

"What did you say to me?!

"Come now, Ghirahim." said Ganondorf. "If it is a battle Saya wants, it is a battle she will have. If you would."

Ghirahim obeyed, though not before shooting Saya a dirty and sadistic look. He let out a shrill cry as a column of darkness enveloped him, that cry distorting into a maniacal laugh soon afterward.

"Alas, what Ghirahim says is true." continued Ganondorf. "Your efforts have sadly been in vain. Can you feel Yami's power fluctuating within me, Kusanagi? The Emperor of Eternal Darkness…the Triforce…with all of this in my possession, there isn't a living soul that can possibly stop me, let alone you."

Saya didn't back down. She gripped the Master Sword tighter without a word, succeeding in getting another laugh out of her mighty opponent.

"You have such confidence. I admire that, but I can assure you it will bring you nothing. I am Ganondorf. I am the Great King of Evil, and I will rule this world and every world beyond it before long. Forgive me for sounding so smug, but you will taste no victory."

"Fair enough….but why?"

"Why what?"

"Why are you doing this? Why are you so hellbent on controlling everything?"

Ganondorf's smile was gone in an instant, replaced with a very dangerous-looking scowl. Saya began to feel and hear the air crackle around her, but she continued to stand strong against him. He clenched one fist, a violet flame circling around his knuckles.

"The reason any man would desire to conquer all before him. I have seen several worlds steadily begin to decay as they were fed the lie that was freedom. Hyrule is one such world. Of course Princess Zelda would jump through time if it were to protect her people. She wants to continue to feed them that lie, but as long as they are under the delusion of freedom, they will continue to bring harm to themselves and all that around them."

He looked away from her and turned his gaze skyward. She hadn't a clue what he was looking at, and all she could do was listen. She didn't know why she wouldn't attack him right then and there. It just felt like she had to hear him out.

"The truth of the matter is that the people in this world and all other worlds are made to be ruled by one such as me. They haven't any idea how to care for themselves, and without a proper ruler, they never will. They need a king…a god. And I intend to become that god."

"At what cost?" Saya finally said. "Enslaving them? Killing them for thinking for themselves? You wouldn't be protecting them or anything like that. You'd be denying them their right to live as they see fit."

"And what makes you so bold as to decide that?"

"What makes you so selfish that every world has to be yours?! You're talking about making everyone in every world your slave, and you're willing to kill anyone and steal anything to get it! Look at everything you've done! This isn't fair!"

Suddenly, Ganondorf's anger flared up. He bared his clenched teeth and glared at her with his murderous eyes as though he'd rush her at any given second.

"Fair?!" he roared. "I will tell you what is not fair! The Hyrulean Royal Family and all their so-called 'subjects' living in prosperity while my people starve and die in the desert!"

"What are you…"

"Oh, I see. Link and Zelda did not tell you, eh? No, I am not some delusional warmonger! I come from a land where even one hour is like an eternity of backbreaking torture, my people banished there for what?! For being different? For our curse? I did not know then, I do not know now, and I doubt I will ever know!"

Ganondorf drew himself to his full height. He was finished shouting, but still had more of his menacing speech. She could feel the anger in his presence alone, and she felt her intimidation come rushing back. Even now that she had nearly full mastery of her power, this man was still terrifying.

"So do not speak to me of the mistreatment of power, Saya Kusanagi." he said. "You know nothing of it. There is no stopping me. Even with the so-called Blade of Evil's Bane, you have but mere fractions of the power you used to have. But if your stubborn refusal to die is any indication, then I assume you will not surrender.

"I won't! I'll never yield to you…you're a complete monster!"

With Ghirahim now fully formed as a massive and black doppelganger of the Master Sword, Ganondorf seized the hilt and pointed it at his young opponent.

"I am what the gods have made me!" he bellowed. "But enough talk! HAVE AT YOU!"

And their battle finally began, Ganondorf making the first move with a brutal slash at Saya's neck. She flipped backward, extending her wings and lifting off into the air. As soon as she was airborne, however, Ganondorf leapt after her, seizing her neck and slamming her against the closest tree before throwing her a long distance to the ground. As Saya went skidding on her back as she made contact, she felt some twigs slice into her and draw blood. She sucked in a breath of pain but got to her feet, rolling out of the way just as Ganondorf stabbed into the spot where she had been.

"Off to a fine start." the evil king sneered.

They slashed simultaneously, the blades clashing against one another and unleashing a loud echo through the woods. They swung at each other again and again, Saya being much faster but Ganondorf being much stronger, and the latter sadly took advantage of this fairly early. Every attack that just barely whiffed her let out a loud echo in its swing, and every attack she blocked sent her sliding back a few inches. At last getting the opportunity to attack, she stabbed, clanging against Ganondorf's armour and somehow producing a sizable crack. This victory was short-lived when he slammed his fist into her chest. All the air shot out of her lungs as the impact launched her away once again, though this time she was able to remain standing.

"Damn. This is gonna be way harder than I thought."

She took flight again, dodging the sphere of dark energy Ganondorf lobbed at her and shooting downward with a kick to his face. He seized her foot and spun her about before tossing her aside and levitating into the air himself. With their swords raised, the two lunged inward, locking blades and pushing against one another, their energy fluctuating and sending shockwaves through the air as they tried to the best of their ability to launch each other away.

And unfortunately, Ganondorf gained the upper hand in a matter of moments.

If Saya wasn't regretting stepping back into the Aokigahara before, it was practically mandatory for her to regret it now as all she felt for the next few moments as she went tumbling across the ground was pain. The battle hadn't lasted even five minutes yet and she was already getting beaten to Kingdom Come, not helped by Ganondorf beating her back to the ground every time she tried to get up.

"Oh, come now, Saya Kusanagi!" the evil king laughed. "Surely you can do better than this!"

Saya made another attempt to stand, Ganondorf swinging his blade headlong at her. She took off, letting the blade bury into the tree behind her and giving her enough time to try and slash his back, sadly not counting on him shooting his leg out and ramming his foot into her stomach. A buildup of shadows around his fist, Ganondorf let out a mighty war cry as his Warlock Punch sent Saya flying away from him. She found it almost a miracle that she was able to stand after such an onslaught. Even her opponent seemed impressed.

"You are resilient, my dear foe." he said with a smirk. "But endurance is nothing without the strength to counterattack, and it would seem you lack even that."

"Well, there's a simple explanation for that."

"Oh? And what is that?"

"Every hit just makes me angrier, and that anger will only make me stronger!"

Holding the Master Sword skyward for a moment, Saya swung hard and sent a massive wave of energy surging toward Ganondorf. He retaliated with his own wave of energy, both colliding and dissipating before the two opponents surged toward each other again. This time, Saya took care to play evasively, ducking and dodging all of Ganondorf's blows and taking another swing, once again succeeding in nicking his armour and producing a crack. A large chunk of the metal broke off and once the vulnerable flesh was visible, Saya went for it. Ganondorf let out a loud cry as the Master Sword cut into him, its divine power burning him all over and getting him to stumble backward.

He was genuinely surprised. Not really that the Master Sword had inflicted damage on him, but that Saya had managed to use it to inflict damage on him. She'd been taking hit after hit and got up from all of them, but one strike from her was enough to get him to bleed.

No matter. At least he had something to smile at: the fight was finally starting to get interesting.

The two took flight, Saya taking off into the trees with Ganondorf giving chase, slashing apart the trees as he did so until she vanished from sight. He stopped, looking all over for any sign of movement and gripping his sword in anticipation. That anticipation helped him far more than Saya wished it had when she dived down toward him, thinking he wouldn't notice her but quickly being proven wrong when their swords collided again. She darted away yet again, her pursuer launching sphere after sphere at her until one of them finally struck her in the back and sent her smashing into another tree.

"Why do you flee from me?!" Ganondorf shouted. "Did you not come to find which of us is greater?!"

"I certainly didn't come to get my ass handed to me…" Saya grumbled, pushing herself to her feet and pushing off into the ground yet again. "And you certainly aren't making it fair for me."

"But as I said before, your endurance is admittedly phenomenal. Lasting as long as you have as greatly impressed me."

"And to me that means…what, exactly?"

Ganondorf sneered, Saya preparing to dodge when she thought he was about to make a move. Instead, he let his sword float in front of him and spread his arms.

"It means I admire you, Saya Kusanagi. I admire your endurance and your bravery even though the latter is going to waste. As such, I would like to offer you something. Something I don't believe your Amaterasu can offer you. Upsetting the established natural order, I believe she would call it."

"If it's ruling alongside you, you can forget it."

"What a shame. I was going to offer you your family and friends back."

"You don't have that kind of power."

"It seems you haven't learned anything. Observe, then."

With a snap of his fingers, two clouds of vapour materialized, both circling several times around Saya before coming to a stop directly in front of her. Just what in the world was Ganondorf trying to do here? The clouds took shape, and the shapes they adopted stopped Saya from moving or even thinking properly. They didn't speak or move. They simply stood there smiling at her, her father in his samurai armour and her mother in her beautiful kimono.

"Yes, Saya." said Ganondorf. "You can be with them once again. All I ask is for you abandon any notion that I am your enemy. You have no enemies but yourself. Stop fighting yourself.

She kept staring at the ghostly apparitions of her mother and father, both still with loving smiles and without speech or motion. The longer she looked at them, the more she began to feel like maybe…giving up wasn't such a bad idea.

Or at least, that was certainly what Ganondorf wanted her to think. What actually happened?

"I can't believe you'd stoop so low and use my past to try and make me betray all my allies!" she spat. "Go to hell!"

Never had Saya regretted saying anything more than that when Ganondorf's anger flared up again. He blasted toward her, seizing her neck and hauling her off the ground, siphoning electricity into her body and burning her all over. She screamed louder and louder as the pain intensified to the point where she thought she was going to have a heart attack, but Ganondorf stopped before it got that far while still keeping his fingers clenched on her neck.

"You do not understand, you idiot!" he bellowed, proceeding to brutally punch Saya over and over again with every phrase. "Denying my offer is pointless! You cannot stop my conquest! You cannot take the power I now possess! You will not be helped! You will not be saved!"

His free hand began its steady buildup of shadows again as Saya could only watch in pained terror.

"YOU CANNOT DEFEAT ME!"

His fist connected as he released her, and she wasn't exactly sure what happened to her in that moment, but it certainly involved a lot of spinning and ended with her lying on her back with the Master Sword laying a good ten feet away from her. She stared upward with her mouth hanging open, feeling as though every bone in her body was broken or at least fractured. She was bruised all over and could swear that blood was starting to gush out of the corner of her mouth.

"So you see, Saya." Ganondorf growled as he pointed his blade under her chin. "Victory over me is not a choice here. You may either die with all your stubborn efforts having been in vain, or you may stand alongside me and be rewarded in the greatest way you desire. All you wish is to be reunited with your family again, yes? Join me and I will make it so. You did not have a hope of defeating me from the beginning, child. If I were you, I would accept that."

Saya looked into her foe's fiery eyes and felt fear and anger well up within her once again, but she wouldn't cry in front of him. She was hurting so much. She barely found it in her to push the tip of his sword away and shakily hoisting herself to her feet. Everything he had said rang out in her head several times over, making her feel even more worthless. She had come to do one thing. She had been so sure of herself, and now she knew it was all for naught. He was just too powerful.

So what was the point in fighting further? Maybe it was for the best if she just gave up.

"I'll give you one thing…that does sound promising."

Ganondorf smiled and let out a loud laugh.

"Excellent! Have I finally gotten through to you, then?"

"Yeah…I'd say you have. No point in delaying the inevitable…I've had enough with this world. I don't care what happens to it anymore."

Ganondorf's smile widened and he extended his hand in an almost friendly manner.

"Now, now, child. There is no need to be so upset. True, this world has a great many faults, but together we may be able to correct such faults. Shape it our own image. And when we are finished with this world, we will go to the next world and the next one after that. The universe will be ours."

"And you'll bring my mother and father back, too?"

"Of course. I am a man of my word."

Still stumbling, Saya raised her own hand and weakly took his. She started to fall forward, Ganondorf planting his sword into the ground and holding her up by the shoulder with his free hand.

"You have made a wise decision, Saya. You have chosen a life of greatness, I assure you."

"Yes…and great power comes with it."

Ganondorf nodded and let Saya stand perfectly erect now that she'd regained a considerable amount of stamina. She rubbed her left wrist with her hand and took in a few deep breathes, keeping the back of her hand visible to him. In that moment, the evil king sensed that something was amiss, and that unpleasant feeling caused him to look down at his own hand. Examining the Triforce symbol, he found that it wasn't glowing as brightly as before. To anyone else, that may have seemed like nothing, but to him, it meant something had just completely wrong. He looked up at Saya in horror as she smirked and clenched her left hand with its back still raised.

And there it was. The Triforce of Courage back with a more suiting owner.

"What was that about me not being able to take your power? Seems you're not as good a deceiver as I thought."

"How did you…impossible!"

"Apparently not. Really, you don't have anyone to blame but yourself. In all honesty, I can't believe you actually fell for that."

Saya sank into a stance and clenched her fists, focussing all her energy inward. An aura generated around her and she felt her pain ease and her wounds start to vanish and close up until she was completely invigorated. With her hand outstretched, the Master Sword returned to her hand and she held it at the ready.

"Now it's really getting started!" she shouted. "LET'S ROCK!"

Furious didn't even begin to describe how Ganondorf felt as he let out a loud roar and lunged inward. They clashed once again, now with Ganondorf having far less impact though still enough to keep Saya on her toes. Their slashes were fast and heavy, not seeming to deter either one now that they were of equal strength. Once she had an opening, Saya delivered one more blow to Ganondorf's chest plate, breaking it into pieces.

"You little bitch!" he shouted. "I offered the greatest thing anyone could have given you and you reject it?!"

"I get that you're trying to make me identify with you," Saya growled. "But that's just it. I don't. I won't cling to the past anymore. I've found a new purpose."

"Hm. That cowardly boy Lucas?"

"Said cowardly boy tried to stop me from fighting you because he was scared for me. Those couple of minutes of him telling me how much I meant to him mean more to me than you'll ever know. I do miss my mother and father, but I've accepted that they're gone. Lucas is my new purpose, but it seems you need a little bit convincing of that."

Ganondorf swung his blade and Saya took to the air, remembering the fantastic display she'd seen Ness and Lucas pull off in the city and letting her power build up before unleashing it.

"PK STARSTORM!"

The dozens of meteors showered down, Ganondorf generating a massive ball of energy to deflect them before he furiously launched it at Saya, who caught it and dissipated it with one clench of her fist. She surged downward again, her blade just barely missing Ganondorf when he too took to the air and raised his hand to generate another projectile.

"Enough of this! Now you die!"

"Try me!"

He launched the sphere Saya swinging at the perfect time and reflecting it back at him. He launched another before he reflected the sphere again and continued to do so until both he and Saya were swinging at lightning speed. At last, Ganondorf called all the spheres back and packed them into one giant globe of dark energy, and with a mighty roar, it broke into several pieces that quickly zoomed outward and surrounded Saya before surging inward. In that moment of delay, Saya held the her sword skyward and felt it fill with power, and once she was prepared, she performed Link's signature spin attack and reflected all the spheres back at their caster faster than he could comprehend. They slammed into him, stunning him just enough to force him to drop Ghirahim, who promptly retook his humanoid manifestation.

"I've had just about enough of you, you little…" he started.

Saya was already in front of him when he landed on the ground, and once he felt the Master Sword pierce his chest, he let out a shrill roar and writhed about in agony until Saya pulled the blade back. He fell to his knees panting, glaring up at Saya and starting to reach for her. With a quick kick to his face, Saya put him a fair distance away from her on his back where he steadily faded away like the Poltergeists before him.

That left only Ganondorf himself, who was just starting to recover from the phenomenal attack as he lowered himself to the ground. Saya assumed her stance again and let the power well up, the Triforce of Courage resonating within her as she faced her opponent.

"For everything you've done to me and everyone else involved in this disaster," she shouted. "And for all the worlds you wish to corrupt and conquer, I'm going to end you! Right here and right now!"

The Triforce flew from her hand, growing larger and trapping Ganondorf within a barrier he could not escape from. With her opponent locked in and awaiting execution, Saya took one flying leap at him and began slashing hard and fast. Ganondorf flinched and let out shout after shout of pain every time the steel bit into his skin, but the true pain was yet to come. With one second-long delay to let the power build back up as the Triforce returned to her, Saya let out a triumphant battle cry and delivered one final blow that pierced Ganondorf's stomach.

The evil king let his mouth hang open in shock and awe before he began to cough, panting heavily and staring down at the sword jutting through him. How could this have happened to him? He nearly all the power in the world and yet he once again been felled by this wretched Blade of Evil's Bane?

"How…" he wheezed, weakly bringing his hand to his chest as he coughed again. "How could you…defeat me…you're just a girl."

"You had disadvantages." Saya said softly.

"What…disadvantages?"

At first, Saya said and did nothing, but the more she looked at Ganondorf still living after she had delivered the finishing blow, the angrier she got. She pulled the blade loose and Ganondorf's hand dropped to his stomach as he started to retch and cough up blood.

"You're insane." she finished.

"Stupid little girl…this isn't over."

"Funny. It looks like it is."

He reached for her, only to retch again. He fell on all fours, now gasping for air as his breathing became more and more strained. He took one final look up at Saya, his teeth clenched and the fiery glare fixed on her eyes. Within moments, though, these eyes rolled back and Ganondorf collapsed. His movement ceased, and soon so did his breathing.

It was over. Saya had won.

She sighed in relief. She had been so frightened that she alone wasn't enough to stop him, but she had won. She looked down at the Triforce, and then up at the canopy. The shadows were starting to disappear, letting the beautiful moonlight shine onto her. She smiled and took in a deep breath. It felt so good. She thought of everyone back outside, especially Lucas who the thought of stirred up a warm feeling in her.

"I did it, Luke." she whispered to herself. "Now all that matters is going back home."

She smiled down at the Triforce. She knew know it certainly wasn't called the Triforce of Courage for nothing. The second it entered her, she felt a burst of confidence within her. She felt empowered and it had paid off. The Great King of Evil was slain. Earth and all other worlds were saved.

"Now I think it's time we got you back to your owner." she said to the golden relic as though it would answer.

And thus she followed the path back the way she came, finally leaving this forest full of nightmares behind her forever.

But it's not over, is it? Man, am I glad I got this chapter done when I did. It's literally almost midnight where I live and I gotta go back to school tomorrow. Not really saying that in a negative way because I actually kinda like college, but still. Summer being over is never a pleasant thought.

I was thinking of doing a semi-sequel to this story, I should add. I say semi-sequel because it's sort of connected to this one but has a completely different plot and set of characters. Basically, all of these characters are either obscure or just popular ones I ended up not using. So for Nintendo we'd have the Ice Climbers, Mr. Game and Watch, Olimar from Pikmin, and the Wonderful Ones from The Wonderful 101; for Capcom, we'd have Viewtiful Joe, Asura from Asura's Wrath, Shantae, and perhaps even a character from Sengoku Basara. Them and another special guest character like Sonic, though this one is made of "Metal" with a lot of "Gear"s and he has a lot of "Rising" pent-up "Revengeance".

Not-so-subtle hints from the win.
