Tapping his clawed digits on the newly-finished joint for Breakdown, Knock Out cast a bored glance at Marian, who had remained hunched over the canvas for the past three Earth hours. He was disgruntled that she wouldn't let him observe her for his notes - no matter how many times he tried to peek over her shoulder, she would stop what she was doing and stare at him - but he figured if he allowed the human to grow accustomed to him, it would make his research easier.

He glanced over his shoulder, and she promptly stuck her tongue out at him.
