Marian ground her teeth together, slowly sitting up despite the sharp pains that made it difficult to breathe and she tried to ignore the migraine that was slamming against her skull. "No back-talking."

"Very good, fleshy!" He pet her head again. "Now if only you could remember that rule before speaking... I suppose we can't all be perfect."

She had to bite her tongue to keep from snapping out.

"Oh! And you should be excited! Breakdown will be bringing pre-blugeoned fuel for you! Ovis aries is something that humans eat, yes?"

"And that is..?"
