"oh, the pleasure's all mine dear. so you're the serena ash mentioned before. well come on in you two" says delia smiling
"ok" says ash as he and serena enter the house
"we have some visitors who wanted to see you ash" says ash's mom as they walk in the living room
as the 3 walk in ash immediately sees brock sitting on the couch looking up at him.
"yo ash, remember me?" says brock holding up his hand
"ah, brock. of course I do. how have you been? it's been ages since I saw you" says ash
"yeah I know, it's been forever. I've been great man. I heard about what you did recently. congrats ash, you earned this day" says brock standing up
"thanks a lot brock, and how has your goal of being the best pokemon breeder going?" says ash
"oh its going well. mastered every form there is, not to brag but I'm much improved heh. oh yeah ash, you remember lucy right?"
brock steps aside and lucy stands up facing ash.
"lucy?... says ash thinking a bit
"you know, pike queen lucy from the battle frontier? you challenged her before" says brock
"hmmmm... ah yeah I remember now. that lucy" says ash
"hello again ash. you are looking well" says lucy
"ah thanks lucy, you too. but wait, what brings you here?" says ash
"oh well about that ash.. hehe.." says brock with a grin
"huh? says ash puzzled
"you see ash, lucy here is now.. my girlfriend" brock says excitedly
"huh? wha? r-really?!" says ash surprised
"yes yes, I can hardly believe it myself but it's true. right lucy?" says brock putting his arm around lucy's back
"oh.. um... y-yes" says lucy looking at brock blushing
"haha you're the best, babe" says brock grinning
he then slides over to ash and talks just loud enough for ash to hear him.
"so ash, what do you think? hot isn't she? cute, smart, gentle, and tough when she needs to be. she's perfect for me!" says brock quietly
"oh yeah, you two are definitely made for each other" ash says
"heh. so ash, who's your lady friend?" says brock pointing to serena who's talking to ash's mom
"oh, that's serena. my childhood friend who also traveled with me while I was in kalos" says ash
"ah I see. got another girl to follow you eh? that a boy, ash. pretty slick man, pretty slick heh. whats that make, 5 now? so which do you like most?" says brock slightly nudging ash with his elbow
"it's not like that brock.." says ash looking at brock annoyed
"oh ash, there's someone else here to see you" says delia
"huh?" says ash
he looks over toward the kitchen area hearing some footsteps. he then sees professor oak walk in the living room.
"ah ash, great to see you again after all this time my boy" says oak
"professor oak, hey. good to see you again too" says ash
"I heard the good news, sounds like you're a big time trainer now" says oak
"sure am, though I can still become stronger" says ash
"indeed, even the best trainers have room for improvement. still, seeing someone who started out in my lab get as far as you have, nothing makes me prouder. oh how's your pokedex coming along?"
"oh great, I've seen just over 700 pokemon and have caught over 400. 417 to be exact. my next goal will be finding and catching all 721 pokemon in existence. someday I'll do it!"
"excellent ash. I look forward to hearing of your exploits in the future" says oak then ash nods
"oh, hello there young lady. you must be ash's friend.. hm, you look familiar" says the professor looking at serena
"hello, my name's serena professor. nice to finally meet you" she says nodding
"serena eh? hmm... serena... ah I know! you're that famous pokemon performer I saw on tv that one time. I believe you are the kalos queen" says oak
"ah, I knew I had seen her somewhere before" says delia
"oh she's that serena. awesome" says brock
"you are quite the talented performer" says lucy
"yup that's me, and thank you" says serena smiling
she then stands near ash putting her arm around his.
"go ahead and tell them ash" she says
"oh right. well you see everyone, serena and I are.. more than just friends. in fact we're... well.. seeing each other" he says
"seeing each other?" says oak
"as in.. dating" says ash
as soon as he says this delia spits out her tea as everyone in the room except ash and serena look in total shock
"what a development!" says professor oak
"I can't believe it, my little ash with a girlfriend?! oh my, and such a beautiful one at that?! he's growing up so fast!" says delia with a super cheery face
"uh mom, calm down a bit" says ash
"ash, brother, you finally got one! I'm proud of you, so proud!" says brock shaking ash's hand rapidly
"ok, ok brock. you can stop now" says ash
"my my, things are getting lively in here. wish I could stay but I got a call. someone has arrived at the lab waiting for me, so I must go. later then" says the professor
he turns and goes to the door. before going out he turns to delia.
