She was beautiful. She was elegant. She was with him. He couldn't believe it. This beautiful and elegant woman was actually with him. He felt like he was dreaming. He felt like any moment he was going to wake up in his bed and none of this would be happening. He wouldn't be sitting across the table from her in this charming Italian restaurant suggested to him by Joey Rossini who had taken his wife here recently for her birthday. He looked across the table at her. The candle light illuminated her lovely features. He smiled softly at her reminding himself once again how lucky he was that this beautiful and elegant woman was with him.

He was handsome. He was charming. He was with her. She couldn't believe it. This handsome and charming man was actually with her. She felt like she was dreaming. She felt like any moment she was going to wake up in her own bed and none of this would be happening. She wouldn't be sitting across the table from him in this charming Italian restaurant. She looked across the table at him, He was already looking at her smiling that sweet smile she loved so much. One again she reminded herself how lucky she was that this handsome and charming man was actually with her.

He reached across the table and took her hand in his wanting to have some physical proof she was actually sitting there. She knew what he was doing and was glad. She needed the physical contact just as much as he did.

"Angela?"

"Yeah?"

"Do you feel like? Well does it feel like..."

"Like we're dreaming?"

He nodded his head. "Exactly."

"I know what you mean. I feel like any moment now I'm going to wake up. I mean I can't believe you're actually sitting here with me."

"You?!" he asked laughing. "I can't believe you're sitting here with me."

She shook her head. "Can you believe us? We're acting like a couple of..." she trailed off.

"Dorks?" At her raised eyebrow he laughed and said. "Well that's what Mona would call us."

"True enough."

"But we know better. We're not dorks. We're just goofy in love."

"So we're not dorks we're just goofy."

"Exactly." he winked at her.

She laughed . It had been so long since she had and it felt good.

He loved hearing her laugh. It had been so long. He made a vow he was going to make her laugh every day from now on.

"Thank you Tony."

"For?"

"For making me laugh. For coming into my life. For loving me."

"I'm the one who should be thanking you." he said quietly lifting her hand up to his lips and giving it a quick kiss.

She smiled at him and reached across the table with her free hand and brushed back the hair that was at his temple.

Their touches sent delicious shocks through each other's body. Standing up he came over and offered her his hand.

"Dance with me?" he asked softly.

"My pleasure." she said taking his hand and standing as well.

He led her out onto the dance floor just as It Had To Be You began to play.

He swung her around a couple of times before drawing her close. She placed her head on his shoulder while he placed his chin on hers.

"Our song." he said remembering the dream he had had about their twenty-five Anniversary.

She lifted her head up. "What?"

"This is our song. It had to be you Angela. No one else. Only you."

"I feel the same." she smiled.

Unable to resist he leaned forward and brushed his lips against hers. Her lips were so soft, so sweet he could go on kissing them forever. Reluctantly he pulled away the taste of her kiss still lingering on his lips.

She lifted her fingers to her lips the feeling of his still lingering.

"I love you Tony."

"I love you too Angela." he smiled swinging her round again before pulling her back once again into his arms.
