misty smiles again blushing a little seeing ash smile. it is then that she sees iris standing near ash and steps a bit closer near them.
"oh hello there, you must be new to town" says misty
"oh hi, and yes I am. my name's iris, I'm ash's friend from unova" says iris bowing slightly
"oh nice to meet you iris. I'm misty, ash's friend from here in kanto" says misty waving a little
"a pleasure, hehehe.." says iris
misty then turns her head and spots serena who is looking right at her. misty steps forward facing serena.
"oh.. hello again" says misty
"hello, we meet once more" says serena
"yeah, oh and about earlier, no hard feelings. I should have been more proper" says misty
"oh, yeah, I should have been too. sorry" says serena
misty nods and there is a brief pause before serena speaks again.
"however... I wasn't lying. I meant what I said earlier" says serena
"oh... well in that case.. I do too" says misty
serena and misty begin to stare at each other intensely. the others in the room can somewhat feel the tension between the two, almost as if sparks are flying. iris leans over to ash.
"hey ash, why are those two staring at each other? what's their deal?" whispers iris
"uh I dunno, I didn't even know they met each other" ash whispers back
"er.. I got a bad feeling about this. I better do something quick" he thinks to himself
"h-hey guys, why don't we-" says ash
just then someone knocks on the door. dalia walks over to the door.
"just a second" she says
she opens the door and listens to the person outside while everyone looks.
"ah yes, come on in" says delia to the person outside
"ash dear, another friend has arrived" says delia coming in
as she says that may walks into the living room.
"ah, finally here. hi guys" says may
"hey may, been a long time. how are you?" says brock
"ah hey brock, I've been doing great and you?" says may
"oh I've been doing well actually hehe" says brock
may then looks over seeing lucy standing next to brock, immediately recognizing her.
"huh? hey, you're pike queen lucy from the battle frontier. what are you doing here?" says may
"oh hello again. well um... actually I'm... here with brock.." says lucy looking away shyly
"huh? you two came together?" says may looking curiously
"oh yeah guess you don't know. me and lucy are... dating now haha" says brock blushing
"huh?... Wha?! really?!" says may shocked
brock and lucy both nod their heads still blushing
"oh wow that's wonderful, congrats you two! hey you look pretty cute together too. glad you finally got a girl brock, thought you would be chasing nurse joys and officer jennys all your life" says may giggling
"uh may... you shouldn't have brought that up now" says brock embarrassed
"oh oh, sorry sorry haha. really, you two are great together" says may
"may, hi" says misty
"oh misty, you're here too. hello" says may waving
may then looks and sees ash who is looking back at her.
"ash, there you are!" says may running over to him
"hey may, good to see you made it out of that crowd haha" says ash
"yeah it looked bad for a while but I'm fine, and its great to see you again ash" says may holding ash's hands
"yeah same here" says ash
serena watches them and twitches a bit seeing may grab ash's hands in such a friendly manner. a vein slightly pops on her head.
"who is this girl?!" she thinks to herself
just then a knock on the door is heard once again. delia runs and answers it. a few seconds later dawn walks into the living room.
"hi everyone. I finally found ash's house. phew I thought I would never find it haha" says dawn panting a bit
"hey dawn, great to see you again" says brock
"oh hi brock, no time no see. you're looking well" says dawn
"haha thanks dawn" says brock
dawn nods and smiles then she looks across the room seeing ash. she looks overjoyed and dashes over to him.
"ah ash, you're here! thank goodness!" says dawn hugging ash
"yeah, g-good to see you again too dawn" says ash hugging her back
dawn pulls away from the hug keeping her hands on ash's shoulders.
"sorry about earlier, I got kinda preoccupied. did you miss me? cause I sure missed you" says dawn smiling brightly
"oh yeah kinda heh, but we haven't really been apart that long" says ash chuckling nervously
as they are talking serena glares at them clenching her fist and the vein in her forehead pops even more.
"grrrrrrr!" she thinks
"hey dawn, are you just gonna ignore the rest of us?" says may
"oh may, you got here before me? aww man" says dawn
"haha we all got here before you, dawn" says iris
"oh it's you iris" says dawn turning to see her
then dawn steps back and looks around seeing misty and serena and scratches her face nervously.
