"ash... so it's true..." thinks misty while looking down
serena continues smiling watching the others' reaction then goes and stands closer to ash.
"ah my feelings for ash when we traveled together just couldn't be contained. then finally ash admitted he felt the same way. even after all the time we spent apart our bond kept strong and now we're together at last, right dear ash?" says serena looking at ash
"oh uh, y-yeah. right serena" says ash shyly with the brim of his hat covering his eyes
"yay. we're perfect for each other" says serena smiling brightly
she then wraps her arms around ash's left arm and holds it close putting her head gently against ash's shoulder. ash looks at the ground still blushing.
"so stay away from him, you fluzies!" serena thinks to herself looking at the other girls
"unbelievable! just how long has this been going on?!" says dawn standing up
"heh, about 3 weeks now. but really even longer than that" says serena letting go of ash and stepping forward once toward dawn with a smile
"a-ash! is that true!?" says may standing up
"oh well... y-yeah, it's true.." says ash nervously looking down
"hee hee, there you have it. me and ash make such a great couple, don't you agree?" says serena smiling
dawn and may once again gasp in disbelief. as the 3 talk amongst themselves brock comes over to ash.
"wow ash, you are a stud now. man I'm jealous, not only do you have a hot and beautiful girl who's a celebrity as your girlfriend but you've got all these cute girls who are pretty popular and great trainers fighting over you too. you've grown so much since back then. I taught you well ash. I'm proud of you man, I'm proud of you! so lucky!" says brock talking in a low voice patting ash's shoulder
"brock you're not helping!..." says ash in a low voice
just then a knock is heard at the front door. delia turns and walks over to open it.
"oh my, more visitors? we certainly are popular today" she says giggling a bit
she opens the door and looks out seeing 2 people standing there.
"oh hello there. here to see ash I take it?" says delia to the 2 newcomers reveiled as cilan and burgundy
"yes, ma'am" says burgundy bowing slightly
"indeed, we wish to congratulate ash on his recent accomplishment. may we come in miss?" says cilan
"ah yes of course. come right in" says delia smiling
seconds later the three walk into the living room.
"oh ash, more friends here to see you" says delia
"hey ash, remember me?" says cilan waving
"ah, cilan. of course I remember. wow you've come here too?" says ash looking
"of course, I couldn't pass up the chance to see a old friend" says cilan
cilan walks over to ash and the two shake hands, both of them smiling.
"how have you been cilan? its been forever since I last saw you" says ash
"yup, not since the unova league and when I went with you to kanto. I've been great ash, on the cusp of reaching S class connoisseur status. how about you ash, been doing well?" says cilan
"oh I've been great. did a lot since last we met, even won the indigo league and battled the elite 4 champion to a draw" says ash clenching his fist
"yes I heard all about it, and I came to give my congrats. so we're both working to our goals huh?" says cilan
"yeah, and thanks. good to see you again heh" says ash
"ah likewise" says cilan nodding
then cilan looks around noticing everyone else in the room.
"oh um my apologies. hello everyone I'm cilan, ash's friend from unova" he says
"ah welcome cilan, I'm ash's mother. any friend of ash is welcome here" says delia nodding a bit
"oh thank you miss ketchum, and I thought as much when we met at the door. nice to meet you" says cilan bowing
the others introduce themselves to cilan briefly then iris walks up to him.
"hey cilan, didn't think I'd meet you here" says iris
"ah iris, you're here too? hello, it's been a while" says cilan
"haha yeah, we haven't seen each other since we left ash. good seeing you again" says iris
"ah you too. so the 3 of us are together once again" says cilan looking at iris and ash

"ah, oh yeah. I brought someone here with me, someone you both know. hey burgundy, come here" says cilan waving her over
burgundy, who had been standing near the door, slowly walks over to them.
"oh, hello guys" says burgundy
"hmm? wait a minute, you're..." says ash

"yup, it's me" says burgundy
"yeah, I told her I was coming here to congratulate ash and she insisted on coming along with me. haha" says cilan
"wha, no I didn't! you asked me to come, dummy!" says burgundy

"ah so you two travel together now?" says ash
"yes, well sometimes. she is my assistant, well mostly. she's an A class pokemon connoisseus now" says cilan

"oh and also, she happens to be my.. well my love interest" says cilan
