"wow, it seems like there are a thousand people here brother" says bonnie
"dunno if there are that many but it's probably in the couple hundred range. this is a pretty special event after all" says clemont
they make a sharp right turn onto another path then just barely avoid running into a passerby as clemont hurrily dodges to the left. bonnie nearly falls off his back while clemont recovers but she quickly grips onto him retaining her balance.
"hey let's get off these skates, I think I can walk now. we might do better finding ash on foot" says bonnie
"huh? you sure bonnie?" says clemont
"yes I am" says bonnie
"heh ok then" says clemont as he pulls the tiny remote out
"now, stop" he says pressing a button
they continue to move on the skates even after the button is pressed. he looks at the control puzzled then presses it a few more times but no reaction.
"ehh? that's strange..." says clemont
"huh? what's wrong? why aren't we stopping, clemont?" says bonnie
"I dunno, I'm sure this is the stop button I pushed" says clemont
"you mean we can't stop?! waaah!" says bonnie
"it must be a remote malfunction" says clemont looking at the remote
"clemont, look out!" says bonnie pointing to people ahead
"whooa!" says clemont
he manuevers his way around several people just barely and keeps rolling up the path they're on a bit panicky.
"aaah! clemont, stop this thing!" yells bonnie
"I-I'm trying! this wasn't in my calculations!" clemont says as he fimbles with the remote
"c'mon, work! stop, damn you! STOOOP!" he yells pressing buttons furiously
they vier off the path approaching a less populated area where the path splits and rides onto a grass field. suddenly a click is heard and the rollerblades soon roll to a complete stop. clemont and bonnie look down in relief.
"um... did they stop?" says bonnie
"uh yeah, I think they're off..." says clemont
seconds later the rollerblades explode as clemont and bonnie holler being caught in the explosion. as the smoke from the blast clears bonnie and clemont are on the ground coughing and their hair and clothes are messed up from the explosion as well.
"ehhh, I knew that would happen... right on cue..." says bonnie annoyed
"awwww, not again.." says clemont
just then a girl who was on one of the paths who saw the explosion runs over to them. clemont and bonnie look up at the girl who happens to be may.
"hey, are you two ok? what was that explosion just now?" says may looking down at them
"oh yes we're fine, thank you. just a little mishap with an invention of mine haha" says clemont fixing his glasses
"yeah... another of your messed up creations blows up in our face.. nothing new" says bonnie brushing herself off
"oh I see haha. need some help?" says may holding out her hand
"oh, thank you" says bonnie smiling and takes may's hand
may helps pull bonnie up off the grass while clemont stands on his own brushing the smoke and grass off his clothes.
"there you go. seems you're ok now" says may smiling
"yes I am luckily haha. thanks again.. um... hey you seem kinda familiar. I think I might've seen you on tv" says bonnie looking hard at may
"oh well I am a pokemon coordinator so maybe you did. my name's may" she says
"oooh hello may, I'm bonnie and this is my big brother clemont" says bonnie
"hello, how do you do? thank you for checking on us and helping up my sister there" says clemont nodding
"oh no problem. was just a bit worried after that sudden boom, I thought maybe a pokemon had used selfdestruct on you haha" says may smiling
"um, may? hope you don't mind but I have a serious question for you" says bonnie
"oh? yes, what is it?" says may
then bonnie takes may's hand and gets on one knee as may looks at her confused.
"could you please marry my brother? he's always busy and messes things up as you can see. you seem like a caring person so could you take care of clemont and maybe.. go out with him a lot?" says bonnie
"ehh?! uhhh.." says may with a puzzled face
"aaah! bonnie, what did I tell you about asking people that!" says clemont
"but clemont!-" says bonnie
"no buts! get over here!" says clemont
a robotic arm comes out of clemont's backpack and grabs bonnie by the back of her shirt collar then lifts her over near clemont.
"awww clemont c'mon, I'm trying to get you a wife! I want a big sister!" says bonnie pouting
"well you're not getting one like that, you hear?!" says clemont a bit embarrassed
"o-oh my haha. that's a brother and sister for you" says may giggling
as clemont and bonnie go back and forth a boy walks up from behind clemont fixing his glasses looking at clemont's backpack.
"whoa that's cool. excuse me, is that your backpack with the metal aipom arm?" says the boy pointing
