"tell me about it..." says ash
minutes later trip is walking down the middle of one of the pathways in another part of the parade grounds when georgia comes running up behind him calling out to him.
"hey trip! heyyy! wait up!" she yells
trip hearing her stops and turns around slightly to look at her.
"hmm?" he says watching her approach
georgia soon comes up to him panting then looks over at him.
"geez, why are you walking so fast? I had trouble catching you through the crowd" says georgia
"um, this is the normal speed that I walk. soo... did you want something?" says trip
"yeah I did actually. uh... w-well..." says georgia seemingly uneasy
"well what?" says trip
"I.. wanted to ask you if you wanted to, you know, join me to check out the rest of the festival. see the parade and stuff" says georgia
"hmmm... eh, I think I'll pass" says trip
"eh? pass? but why?" says georgia
"you still trying to pass off that whole 'I am your bf' thing?" says trip
"wha? no! what are you talking about?!" says georgia
"I know what you were doing, you and that iris girl are rivals right? you were fighting over which of you had a better boyfriend or something. I caught on to it, and if you two are gonna do that leave me out of it. things like that cramp my style. well if there was nothing else I'll be going now. later" says trip
he then turns and starts walking away without another word not looking back leaving georgia standing there with a somewhat disappointed look on her face.
"tch... what a jerk" she says pouting
a little later on ash and iris are walking together down one of the less populated festival routes with pikachu following close behind. as they walk iris glances over at ash who is looking straight forward and she gets a guilty look on her face.
"um, hey ash?" says iris
"hm? what is it iris?" says ash
"well, about earlier... I just wanted to apologize to you. you know, for saying you were my boyfriend before. I know it was wrong of me but georgia just kinda got under my skin taunting me like that and so... I just kinda blurted it out..." says iris looking down while walking
"ha well yeah that was random. sure caught me off guard" says ash
"er yeah, and again I'm real sorry if I confused you or made you feel weird. forgive me?" says iris bowing slightly
"oh its cool, don't worry about it. just warn me next time you do something like that haha" says ash slightly smiling
"I will, but don't worry. that was just a one time thing heh. oh I said I'd make it up to you. how does some yummy pepperoni pizza sound?" says iris
"mmmm that actually sounds pretty good right about now" says ash patting his stomach
"alright great, I know the perfect spot. a pizza stand I came across while I was walking around. they make some of the best pizza I've ever tasted, plus their slices are huge" says iris
"awesome, I'm getting hungrier by the minute heh" says ash facing iris highly intrigued
"well let's go there then. you can eat all the pizza you want, my treat. come on, I'll lead the way!" says iris
"ok, right behind you!" says ash
iris then walks in front while ash and pikachu follow close behind. as they turn from one path to another they begin to walk a bit faster.
"phew, I'm glad that was resolved quickly... good thing serena wasn't around to see that..." ash says to himself
elsewhere, in another part of the festival grounds serena is walking slowly along the side of a less populated path looking at the many souvenir stands that are lined up along the path. as she passes each one she stops to check what they have on display.
"necklaces, bracelets, pendants, charms, dolls. ooooh there are soo many cute things here, but I just can't buy them all~ hmmm I suppose I'll just get a few as mementos hee hee. ah I know, I should get ash something too! hmmm now what would he like most?... mmm probably something pokemon or food related haha. alright, I'm gonna find a nice prize for ash even if I have to win it! time to do this!" says serena with a look of confidence
just then somebody walks up from behind serena approaching her.
"um excuse me, serena?" says the person
serena turns around and standing near her is a boy who looks to be in his teens and is about serena's height.
"um, yes?" says serena
"are you... the serena? the kalos queen perhaps?" asks the boy
"oh well yes, yes I am" says serena smiling
"... Aaaaah! it really is you kalos queen serena! I knew it from the moment I saw you! I can't believe it, I never thought I'd see you here in kanto! oh, uh sorry for startling you there, I'm just such a huge fan of yours!" says the boy
"oh I see, well thank you very much. it's always nice meeting fans of pokemon performances. yes I came to kanto to celebrate with friends, are you from here?" says serena
"oh yes I am, but I've been following your performances for a long time" he says
