"w-well yeah, sure. I mean, it can't hurt, can it?" says burgundy as she looks away slightly and blushing
"hmmm... yeah you're right" says cilan smiling at burgundy and chuckles a little
"ok, we'll take two of them" says cilan turning to jesse and james as he places some money on the table in front of them
"ah, very good. wise choice, kind sir. well here you go, one for each of you" says james taking the money
he then hands both cilan and burgundy a replica charm. they both hold their charms in their hands inspecting them.
"wow, made pretty well if I do say so myself" says cilan holding his up by the string
"they're beautiful" says burgundy holding hers in hand
"but of course. every one is made from the finest material" says jesse
"be sure to wear them often, that way the charm's magic will take effect" says james
"right. shall we go, burgundy?" says cilan
"hm-mmm" says burgundy
soon after, cilan and burgundy turn around and start to walk away from the stand as james and jesse wave at them.
"bye-bye, good luck you two. thanks for your business" says jesse
as the two walk into the distance james and jesse begin to chuckle to themselves.
"hehe, our little stand's going on without a hitch. we'll make a killing off of these, especially here during a large gathering such as this" says james
"yes, perfect. I wonder if these things actually even work" says jesse holding one
"who knows? I got a hold of a couple of them from a traveling merchant and mass produced them" says james
"heh heh. oh james, you're so dasterdly cunning" says jesse
"you know it, babe" says james
some time goes by and the festival continues on, growing more and more busy by the minute. in one particular part of the central festival grounds serena is seen slowly walking by herself breathing a sigh of relief as she appears wore out.
"phew, thank goodness I was finally able to get away from that crowd of people. I thought I would never escape. so many of them wanting autographs and pictures taken, I feel like my head's spinning. oh boy, the life of a public figure isn't as glamorous as I thought" serena says to herself
as she continues to walk down one of the festival routes a voice calls out to her.
"serena! hey!"
"huh?" she says as she stops and turns around
looking behind herself in the near distance serena spots bonnie waving at her, recognizing her right away.
"ah! bonnie!" says serena
"serena, it is you! yay!" says bonnie as she starts running toward her
both serena and bonnie eventually come to each other and hug tightly in the middle of the pathway.
"serena, I'm so happy to see you again" says bonnie
"it's great to see you too bonnie. it's been ages, hasn't it?" says serena
"yeah, too long! I missed you serena, I'm so glad we finally found you!" says bonnie starting to get teary eyed
"aww, I'm glad too and I really missed you bonnie. no need to cry, I'm here now" says serena smiling
bonnie looks up at serena with a wide smile and wipes the tears from her eyes. shortly after clemont walks up to them along with may and max.
"serena, we found you at last!" says clemont
"clemont! you're here too, great! how have you been?" says serena looking at him
"been doing just fine, how are you doing? it's been ages since we last met haha" says clemont
"oh I've been great, and yeah it's felt like forever since we traveled together in kalos. it's so nice to see you and bonnie again here" says serena
"yeah, just thinking about it makes me feel nostalgic" says clemont
"serena, we need to hang out more like we used to!" says bonnie
"oh, yeah bonnie I would love that but I am kinda busy nowadays, being kalos queen and all" says serena
"oh yeah, you are kalos queen now. congrats on that" says clemont smiling
"aw, thanks clemont" says serena nodding
"you're the best kalos queen ever, serena! I watch all your performances" says bonnie
"gee thanks bonnie. I dunno about being the best ever though haha" says serena
"um... excuse me" says max who has walked over and now stands to the side of serena
"huh? oh, yes?" says serena facing max
"so, you're kalos queen huh?..." says max
"yes, yes I am" says serena
"wow..." says max
he pauses for a minute then looks up at serena in amazement blushing.
"you're so beautiful!" he says
"oh er, thank you. um.." says serena
"oh sorry, that's my little brother max. he watches pokemon performances sometimes" says may
"oh I see haha. hello there max" says serena smiling
"whoa, I didn't think you'd be this beautiful in person. uh miss... when I get older... would you consider going out with me?!" says max
"ehh?! ummm... I uh... dunno.." says serena
"ew, why would serena ever date a snot-nosed dork like you?" says bonnie
"I wasn't talking to you, crybaby!" yells max
"who're you calling crybaby, you dummy?!" yells bonnie
the two glare at each other growling
