Authoress Note: Welcome to Chapter 4 of No Shelter. Thank you to those who have left reviews for this story and any of those who help me try to come up with a plot for this story and this series in general. It really does mean a lot to me that you guys are enjoying this series and I promise you all that it will take some time to get through this story since there is 21 chapters total and I've kind of started planning out Book 3 of this series as well as little bits of Book 4 and Book 5 which won't be all that easy. But I hope that all the books for this series turn out well. Since I've been trying to take my time planning out each movie to make sure that it's still noticeable, but with new twists in the stories. Just to keep things going in a good motion. Enough of my ramblings for this chapter. Without further ado Chapter 4. ENJOY!

Chapter 4

Jack tried to catch his breath after running for so long and getting onto the Pearl. He stared at the water with clear terror on his face. Jack tried to shoo the evil off of his body, turning one time widdershin and spits.

Gibbs tried to attempt to figure out what Jack was doing. "Put as much distance between us, and this island, and make for open sea?"

"Yes to the first and yes to the second, but only insofar as we keep to the shallows as much as possible."

"That seems a bit contradictory, sir."

Jack tried to not roll his eyes at what Gibbs had said. "I have every faith in your reconciliatory navigational skills, Mr. Gibbs." He pulled his pistol out of his belt. "Where's that monkey? I want to shoot something."

Bonnie let out a breath shaking her head lightly. She heard the screeching from the monkey as something fell to the deck rolling away.

Jack turned only to come face to face with Will.

"Jack - Elizabeth is in danger." Will said his voice coming out in a rather frustrated tone knowing that this man that stood before him was the only hope for his future wife.

"Have you considered keeping a more watchful eye on her? Maybe just lock her up somewhere?" Jack questioned uninterested in the whole thing.

"She is locked up. In prison. Bound to hang, for helping you."

"There comes a time when one must take responsibility for one's mistakes." Jack said as he tried to move past Will only to have the younger man pulling his sword out.

"I will have that Compass of yours. I must trade it for her freedom." Will said as his lip curled in anger.

"So. You get the Compass, you rescue your bonny lass - again. Where's my profit?"

"I will deliver to you the Letters of Marque. You will be granted full pardon, and commissioned as a privateer in service to England."

"Accepting those things is what you want me to do for you. Agreed. But what will you do for me?"

He thought about it for a moment before giving up. "Anything."

Jack's lips quirked in a smile. "Gibbs!"

Gibbs turned to look at his captain.

"We have a need to go up the river."

Gibbs blinked, looking scared and reluctant to do so. "By need, do you mean a trifling need, fleeting, as in, say, a passing fancy?"

"No, a resolute and unyielding need."

Gibbs cured under his breath before spinning the wheel.

Morgan looked over out of the corner of her eyes wondering exactly what her father was up to. She had a sinking feeling inside of her chest knowing that this probably wasn't a good sign of things to come.

"What we need to do is sail to Port Royal - with all haste!" Will said following Jack irritation written across his face.

Bonnie turned her attention narrowing her eyes slightly at the young man. He had no room for giving orders to anyone on the crew, let alone the Captain himself.

Jack turned sharply to Will. "William. I will trade you the Compass, if you will help me find this." Jack said, pulling out the small cloth with the imprint of the key on it.

Will blinked a few times rather confused of why he would be searching for such a thing. "You want me to find this."

"You want me to find this. To save Elizabeth."

Will took the cloth getting a better look at it. "This is going to save Elizabeth?"

"How much do you know about Davy Jones?"

"Nothing."

Jack nodded his head. "Yep - it's going to save Elizabeth." He said as he walked away.

Bonnie pursed her lips together following her husband making sure that she was far enough away to talk to her husband. "What in the blazes do you have going through your brain, Jack?" She questioned softly as they walked towards the Captain's coordoors. "You're going to use Will to get to Davy Jones?"

Jack hushed his wife. "I'm trying to save my skin."

Bonnie shook her head. "At the risk of a child?"

Jack rolled his eyes. "Turner has been a thorn in my side since I met him."

"And you're now willing to help Will save Elizabeth by sending him into the belly of the beast, sending him right to Davy Jones." Bonnie shook her head lightly knowing that this most likely wasn't going to end well. "This won't end well for anyone involved."

Jack let out a soft grumble.

"You know I'm right." She pointed out.

"Just like you had pointed out about Isla de Muerta." He said as he crossed his arms knowing that his wife had been worried about going to the Island because she had a bad feeling inside of her chest. Of course he didn't listen to her and that was when Barbossa had betrayed him, her, and at the time their fairly young daughter.

PIRATES

Morgan stood grasping the rail as she looked out to the dark ocean. Her brows furrowed together in worry as her brain raced at why her father was acting the way that he was.

Will noticed the young woman standing there and he slowly walked over to her. "Haven't seen you in Port Royal in a year."

Morgan turned her head to look at Will. "I left for a reason. Life in Port Royal was a nice thought, but I'm a pirate woman. There is no place for a swashbuckling, crass woman in high society."

Will pursed his lips together in thought as he looked at her. "Elizabeth had wanted to invite you to the wedding…"

Morgan let out a breath. "We weren't really friends, Will. None of us really had known one another. My father and I had helped you where we could. To save that Bonnie lass of yours and now I hear there is more trouble?"

"She faces the gallows."

"But she hadn't truly done anything other than perhaps helping you in a way for my father to escape." Morgan let out a soft hum.

"She still faces the gallows."

"Who warranted her arrest?"

"Cutler Beckett."

Morgan pursed her lips together in thought. The name rang a bell in her mind. She remembered the stories her parents had told her about Cutler Beckett. "From what I've heard about him from my parents he's not the kindest man in the world."

"Jack and Bonnie know him?"

"I've heard stories, but I don't fully believe everything that I have heard about the man. But from what I heard he's not the best at being discrete on things. If he wants something he'll force you to do something so he can get what he wants." Her brow raised slightly. "Tell me Will, Beckett has Elizabeth sentenced to the gallows, but what does he want in return?"

"Jack's compass."

Morgan's brows raised almost disappearing under her bandana. She knew her father wouldn't ever let that out of his sight. "And you think that he will willingly give you the compass? You don't even know what Beckett wants with it." Morgan shook her head lightly. "I'd be careful where you tread Turner."

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

This is the end of Chapter 4. I hope that you all enjoyed this chapter. I did try my best with trying to write this chapter out. I'm currently trying to plan out a section of Book 3. I'm trying to figure out if James should survive. Honestly I love all the characters of Pirates and I always felt a little sad when James died in At World's End. Please let me know what you think of the idea of saving James? Please leave a review and let me know your thoughts on this chapter. Reviews help keep me going in writing and helps with my muse. Until next time.
