Chapter 3 - A New Wolf is Born - Start the Fire

Lincoln had just left the hideout to where his crew was waiting but right now there was one thing going through his mind.

Who leaked their plot? He was adamant that no one finds out so who would want to expose them and turn them from the town queens to the royal jokes?

At least it confirmed one thing though.

"Judging by how furious Mom and Dad were, they also had no clue about their little scheme.' He said to himself as he walked to a near building. 'Strange really. Most of the time they would side with my sisters but not this time. I should be happy but instead, all I have is conflict."

Lincoln shook his head. No time to dwell on that. He had a job to do.

"Hey guys!" He announced and five kids turned to him. Lincoln then turned to the readers.

"I think I should do a rundown on who's who:"

He first pointed to an 11-year-old Brazilian boy with brown skin and eyes plus dreadlocks dyed red, wearing a grey running jacket with red stripes on the sleeves running horizontal, grey tracks and red sneakers.

"Meet Marcelo Calacante or Quickfoot. One of the fastest of the Youngbloods and a pro in capoeira. You can expect him to run ahead and be back in a blink of an eye."

Next was a Caucasian 11-year-old boy with blue eyes and a red mohawk. He had on a red T-shirt with a snarling wolf on the front and blue jeans plus black boots. On his hands were a pair of gloves.

"Here is our bare knuckle brawler, Jax Jones or Balrog. Always ready to fight, he is one of our more skilled fighters among the wolves despite being a pre-teen. They say he used to take part in cage fights to earn money."

Up next was a taller 12-year-old Texan boy with a more stockier build than the rest, with blonde hair with red tipped bangs and blue eyes. His skin was slightly tanned and he had on a red plaid shirt under a brown vest, blue jeans and brown cowboy boots with spurs. He had a bullwhip wrapped around his shoulders.

"The muscle of the Youngbloods, Bronco of Connor Calway. He was born on a Texan ranch and is a great wrangler with that whip or with his hands. Once he gets a hold on you, you'll be moving at a snail's pace."

The fourth was an 11-year-old tanned girl with beach blonde hair in a ponytail and blue eyes, wearing a red tank top under a green army vest and cargo shorts plus brown hiking boots with a pair of boomerangs attached to her hips.

"Our Australian sharpshooter, Rebound. Real name, Harper Anslow. Those boomerangs of her meant she is a great shot as she will always hit her targets and they'll always come back to her so no one will know who hit them. Perfect for distractions."

The final member was one that got his to sigh lovingly as a blush formed on his face. An 11-year-old Japanese girl with long black hair and brown eyes plus ruby red lips. She had on a red tank top under a low cut leather jacket, black skirt, brown shoes and black over the knee socks with a tanto strapped to her back.

"Finally, the most beautiful girl in my life. Hisako Hinotori or Firestorm. She's actually Lucifer's little sister and one of the best sword fighters among the wolves. And also...'

He was interrupted by Kazuya.

"The love of my life." She spoke in a loving tone as she wrapped her arms around his waist, nuzzling his neck.

"Oh yeah." he said as he turned around and pulled her closer as he rubbed noses with her.

"Say, after the mission, we need to catch up during the party." She spoke in a teasing tone.

"Perhaps a spar session? We do need to see how our skills have updated." Lincoln said with a smirk.

"I will take that challenge." She said.

They were about to kiss when they were interrupted by Marcelo.

"Hey pombinhos! Don't we have a job to do?!" he said as the rest were just looking annoyed.

"Sorry guys. Anyways, Lucifer just wants us to patrol the streets." Lincoln said.

"Dat's it?" Connor asked in a confused tone.

"Yep. Half of us have been gone for months. He wants to know if there were any thugs in the area or new gangs that formed, in hopes of making territory. We'll split in different directions to see then meet at the Burnt Bean rooftop to convey our findings. After that, we'll head back."

"And if any thugs do show?" Jax asked.

"What do you think? We're wolves. Show them we own the night." Lincoln said as Jax smiled, slamming a fist into his palm.

"Alright, mates. Let's go!" Harper said and they all cheered, igniting their aura and rushing in different directions.

As Lincoln raced along the top of a roof, he then turned to the audience.

"Yeah, so you didn't expect that, huh? So how did I get mixed up in them? Well, I should start by going a few months back when once again, the town had praised my sisters for their recent victories."

Flashback

"And it seems that the athletic Loud has pulled two hattricks! The Kangaroos has won the game!" The announcer chanted as the entire soccer team threw Lynn into the air with the crowd cheering her name, her family especially.

"That was amazing, Junior!" Lynn Sr. Spoke with pride.

"Yeah! You rocked it!" Luna added.

"What can I say? No one can handle the Lynnsanity!" Lynn bragged.

"Hold up! Is that the Loud Family?!"

Soon the entire family was crowded as they began to ask for autographs with each sister willing to give one. However, Lincoln was pushed out of the crowd.

"Uhh, guys? You forget someone? Guys? Guys?!" He called but no one was listening.

"Move it, shrimpy! No one cares about the sticks!" Scoots yelled as he was hauled away by two other guys.

"Guess...I'll just go home then." Lincoln grumbled as he trudged off.

It's days like this that he hated this town for its hero worship of his family. They get the glory, while he was left with an empty lot. He then passed by several TVs and frowned at the sight.

Once again, his sisters made the damn headlines.

Lori won a golf tournament.

Leni was awarded a trophy for her successful fashion show.

Luna was shredding at the concert in front of a large audience.

Luan was making an audience laugh.

He then saw Lucy on a newspaper for her poetry win and several books written by Lisa on her studies.

Lola was on a poster for a pageant queen and Lana was being recorded by Bobbie Fletcher's crew for her fast reassembling of her car.

Lincoln picked up a newspaper of Lily being named the cutest baby in the city, causing him to scrunch it up in frustration.

"Everywhere I go, it's always the same. My sisters are so amazing." He grumbled as he then saw his friends.

He rushed to them and was about to greet them when he heard their conversation.

"Seriously, my Dad is planning on having Leni make some clothes for his shop! We are gonna make so much money!" Rusty said in a greedy tone.

"Forget tha'! Lynn was laike a stallion on the field! All that power is amazin'" Liam added.

"I'm more interested in Lisa's theories on other life! My parents are interested in them!" Zach exclaimed.

"But nothing can beat my Lovely Lori and her amazing swings! Oh, I cannot wait to marry her one day!" Clyde exclaimed with a loving sigh.

"Face it guys, they may cause mayhem but Lincoln's Sisters are the best! Now, all he needs is his own achievements and they'll be all set!" Rusty exclaimed with all the boys agreeing, not noticing Lincoln stomping off with a clenched fist as he gnashed his teeth.

"Great. Even my friends are fans of them! How can this get any worse?"

Then a nasally voice called.

"Hey, Larry!"

Lincoln groaned. He knew that voice.

"It's Lincoln, Chandler.' He spoke to the red head annoyance. 'What do you want?"

He and his gang just smirked smugly.

"Oh nothing. Just wondering how does it feel to be in the shadows of your successful sisters, while you are stuck in the nosebleeds! Face it, Larry. YOu'll always be 12th rate to them!" He laughed as his gang walked off, leaving Lincoln alone to grumble.

"Why does the jerk have a point? No one wants to be with an ordinary kid like me."

He then continued to walk and saw the stupid billboard with their faces. Why did the town put that up, he'll never know.

It was then he heard the sound of yelps.

"ARGH! SHIT!"

Hearing this, he saw the sight of a 23-year-old greek man with a large build, a crimson mohawk and blue eyes, dressed in a dark red t-shirt under a leather duster jacket, black leather pants and boots, who was on the ground, rubbing his leg

"Hey! Are you alright?" Lincoln asked as he approached the man, who turned around, showing a crimson wolf mask and a tattoo on the left side of his neck, showing a red wolf in a roaring flame.

Lincoln's eyes widened. He knew who this was.

Suddenly, he heard voices.

"HEY! WHERE IS THAT SHIT?!" A group of in dressed in hoodies with several chains around their necks came rushing.

Thinking quickly, Lincoln helped the man and hid him behind the dumpster and walked out. One of the men soon saw him walk to a shop.

One grabbed him and soon the gang surrounded him.

"Hey, kid?! You seen a man around here?" He demanded.

"I have no idea what you are talking about!" Lincoln spoke in a scared tone.

"You sure?" He spoke low.

"Yes! I was just walking to the comic store! I haven't seen anyone!" He pleaded. He was dropped and soon the gang ran off, finding the man.

Lincoln sighed in relief.

"Hey kid." A deep voice said as he jumped in place. He saw the man limping as he held onto a metal bar to steady himself.

"Thanks for that."

Lincoln gulped.

"N-no problem." He said.

The man then smirked dangerously.

"Guess you know who I am, huh?"

Lincoln nodded.

"Yeah. You're the Second in Command of the Crimson Wolves. Hades." He said.

The Crimson Wolves were very well known in the state. Rumours of them being yakuza and a street gang meant they controlled the crime in the area and woe to anyone that tries to mess with them. There were also rumours about them being able to use fire.

"Hey, I'll see you around." He said as he let the mask drop, popping the collar to hide his tattoo as he trudged off.

"Wait, Mister!" He said as he rushed to him. Hades turned around in confusion. Lincoln simply got out a medkit and rolled the trouser leg, cleaning the wound and wrapping a bandage around it.

"It's not much but it should prevent infection." He said. Hades smiled gratefully.

"Thanks kid. Not many people would wanna help a Wolf." He said as he walked off, calling someone on his phone.

With that, Lincoln walked off, feeling a bit better about himself.

End Flashback

Now, Lincoln or Wildcard was sliding down a ladder before leaping to a wall and scaling it, scanning the area.

"That was when I first encountered one of them and soon he gave me his contact information. Never thought I would have a Crimson Wolf owe me a debt. But I decided to keep it to myself as I didn't want people to fear me. Learnt that lesson from the limo time." He finished speaking to the audience.

Soon Lincoln rushed along the top when he saw something.

Two men were getting into a drunken brawl.

"You'sh want some of thish?" One said as he threw a sloppy punch to another.

"Go fuck yaself!" The other said.

Lincoln was watching and shook his head.

"TIme to get to work." He then leapt down, catching their attention.

"Boys, I think it's time for you to calm down." he said.

"Well, well. I think that's a tiny cosplayer." One spoke with a drunken chuckle.

"Yeah, let's show how we deal with bums like him." The other said as they stumbled to him, fists raised.

Lincoln dodged a fist and did a roundhouse to one gut before ducking out of another and uppercutting the other man. He then drew two cards, making them glowed with his aura, flinging them at the two. When they struck both screamed from the electric discharge they felt. Lincoln then drew two more cards, the aura making them turned to a pair of crimson knuckles and rushing to the males and giving powerful punches to their faces, knocking them out.

After a while, they got up, feeling the worst headaches ever.

"What happened?" One man groaned.

"I think we were at a bar and drinking...then we were...Argh! My head!" The other yelped.

Lincoln made his announcement.

"You guys were in the middle of a drunken brawl." He said, leaning against a wall, playing with a joker card. The two men flinched.

"Oh shit, we were fighting Wildcard." One spoke in fear.

"Relax, I'm not gonna pummel you, anymore. Just what was that about?" He asked.

Both men just looked down in sadness.

"We were trying to forget a stupid mistake we made." One of them said, causing him to raise a brow.

"Mistake?"

"Yeah. Following the words of the LOUSY LOUD SISTERS!" He yelled, punching the ground in frustration. Lincoln felt a headache going on.

"What do you mean by that?" He asked.

The man sighed.

"They made us think their brother was bad luck, so we pretty much made it known from banning him from places to isolating him. It turned out to be an elaborate prank that was supposed to teach him a lesson or something." He explained.

"That explains the newspaper" He thought before asking for more details.

"A video played talking about the plan and they even called us mindless sheep. They made us look like idiots!" He roared.

"Now the town spent the last few months hating them, drowning our sorrows or trying to find him. We never should have listened to those idiots." he spoke morosely.

"So they regretted it huh? I just hope my family isn't in too much trouble." Lincoln thought to himself

"Thanks for the information. I gotta go.' He said as he climbed the building. 'And don't worry, I'm pretty sure Lincoln is OK." He called to them as he reached the roof and ran off.

After a while, the rest of the kids met up on a random rooftop.

"How did it go guys?" Lincoln asked.

"No trouble, hermano. Just a lot of drunks." Marcelo spoke with a grin.

"Yeah, a lotta guys are seriously drunker than a chicken getting' into a bottle of whiskey," Connor added.

"That's not all mates. Turns out a lot of people have been vandalising anything about your Sisters, Linc." Harper added.

"I know. Turns out, someone leaked a video explaining everything and the town both hates them or are drowning their sorrows for believing them." Hisako added.

"My guess is now they went from top dogs to bottom bitches after that. I ended up running into two guys fighting over weather they should stop hating them or not."

"That does confirm what I read in the paper." Lincoln said with a low tone.

The rest looked rather worried.

"You OK, Linc-kun?" Hisako asked, holding his hand.

"Just worried. I know that I used their scheme to my advantage to commit to you guys, but if the hate has been going on for this long? They may be crazy, but they are still my family. Nothing will change that. I'm worried that one person will do something too insane and they may be in the hospital."

Hisako smiled.

"It's nice you still care about them." She spoke.

"I know, but a part of me is feeling rather vindicated over the fact that the town now sees them as lunatics with stupid ideas and not the stars they were before. Is it wrong I feel that?" Lincoln asked.

"Nah, besides you remember what happened when you came in the first time?" Jax said with crossed arms.

"YEah. I remember that day. It was when I first joined the Wolves."

Flashback

Lincoln was walking down the street, kicking a can as he did. It was another Sister Fight Protocol and lo and behold, Leni and Lola were fighting over a pair of shoes.

A pair of red high heels.

And once again the whole house went into lockdown but this time, he was thrown out.

When asked why? This is was the response.

'The last time you helped, you made a mess. Face it, Lincoln you are useless when it comes to this situation, much like those plans you try out' Lori spoke in an arrogant tone.

Lincoln was silent as a tear rolled down his eye and he walked off, grumbling as he did.

"Stupid sisters, acting they know better. Not my fault I had no clue how it was structured." He grumbled as he walked.

If it wasn't attention hogging sisters, then it was them doing his head in with their antics.

It was then he ended up bumping into a muscular man, dressed in leather.

"Hey! You brat! You spilled this over me!" He growled as he towered over the pre-teen.

"S-sorry! I didn't see you!" He said as he backed away.

"Oh, you're gonna be sorry alright!" He growled pulling a large knife out. He approached him slowly when a rock was flung at the back of his head.

"OI! Musclehead!"

The man turned with a snarl only to see Hades approach him, holding a large bag.

"Think you're a big shot attacking a little kid, huh?" He growled as his aura rippled around him.

"Oh, if it ain't the Red Wolf of Death! You think you are so tough?! Bet those 'flames' are just for show! Maybe I should show you!" He roared as he rushed with his knife.

Lincoln was about to warn him but Hades just held out a palm and blasted red aura from it, covering the man in flames. When it stopped, the man was burnt and the knife was melted. Hades approached him and picked him up by his throat

"I better not see your ass here again, or I will roast so hard there won't be any ashes left." He growled.

All he got was a cough of smoke to which Hades threw the man into a nearby dumpster.

"You alright, kid?" He asked.

"Yeah, thanks." Lincoln asked with a hint of relief.

"What are you doing out here?" HAdes asked.

Lincoln sighed as he pinched the bridge of his nose."

"Family issues. My sisters got into a fight and it's chaos. I'm out here just to get away. After all, I don't help out." HE muttered bitterly.

Hades frowned. That wasn't words for an 11-year-old needed to here.

"Why don't you come with me? There's a place at the Wolf's Den for you to stay for the night." He asked.

Lincoln looked surprised but decided to accept. He needed a place to stay and the kitchen was off limits. And he was not eating no mouldy doughnut.

"I never got your real name though." Lincoln asked.

"Kolasi Nekros." Hades...no Kolasi replied.

The two soon made their way to the den. They were suspicious of the kid, but they slowly warmed up to him.

End Flashback

"Soon, Lucifer met you and actually liked your moxie." Jax added.

"That's right. He even offered you a place to stay for a while if things are too crazy back home." Marcelo replied.

"Yeah. Never expected him to make me a member of the Wolves, though. All I did was trick a gang of druggies into a different building." Lincoln spoke.

"Yeah, but that mind of yours helped the wolves a lot. And soon, you even won the eyes of a certain Firestorm." Harper said with a wiggle of a brow, causing Lincoln and Hisako to blush a bit.

"Come on. Let's get back to the hide out." He grumbled as they ran along the rooftops.

Soon Connor spoke.

"Hey, Ya'll remember th' day you told ya committed to us?" he said as he leapt over a pipe.

"Yeah, it was the same time we found out about that child trafficking ring." Lincoln spoke with a frown.

Another new chapter of the Crimson Wolves. Here we get to see Lincoln's first meeting with the Crimson Wolves and his crew.

And as you can see, I decided that the parents were not part of the Luck Malarkey, so you can expect them to be harsher to the sisters and the whole of Royal Woods wanting their heads on a platter
