Chapter 5: Welcome to the world Jaune Arc
~Beacon Academy, Headmaster's Office~
Ozpin the headmaster was sitting in his office, he sipped on his mug of warm coffee enjoying the taste.
At least he was supposed to but then the camera's began blinking on his scroll to signal a sign of unusual activity, he looked at his scroll and saw what was happening.
His eyes widened, his mug fell to the ground and his mouth was open as on the screen of the Scroll was Jaune Arc, leader of team JNPR, transforming.
He was in complete disbelief, he had thought that what he was seeing was only his imagination and cycled through several cameras to make sure they were functioning properly.
Suffice to say is that what he was seeing is genuine.
He shook his head as he bent down and picked up his mug, thankfully he ran out of coffee before it dropped "it seems that he's right... I suppose this means he has bragging rights" said the old gentleman as he got up and deactivated his scroll, he then walked over with his mug and poured some coffee.
Ozpin let out a soft sigh as he tasted the coffee of gods "there's no point in panicking, it will do no one good if anyone panics although I WILL have a discussion with him, yet another effort to pull some strings to prevent this from getting out" he told himself as he entered the elevator and went down and headed towards the infirmary.
~Beacon Academy, Infirmary~
Ozpin walked through the doors and he sees AJ about to jump out the window, it seems he has completely recovered and is about leave via out the window.
The elderly man stopped him by coughing "and where do you think you're going young man?" at the voice of the headmaster AJ froze in place, slowly his head turned towards Ozpin and their eyes met.
"Gonna get a... Cheeseburger...?" the teenage male said trying sound convincing but the boy in his casuals rather than his uniform said otherwise.
The man sips his mug "whatever it is you plan on doing please share, I don't need to know where you're going considering that you ARE in the window about to jump out. I am curious as to WHAT it is your doing" he said clarifying what he meant earlier.
The obese teen sighed as he pointed to the forest with his thumb, where earlier the loud howling could be heard by those whom had windows open or who had faunus features. The man nodded and sipped "just be sure to NOT kill your fellow classmates, you may be right for now but I want a FULL explanation" he said as he motioned for the boy to go.
He was going to come up with an excuse to the nurse.
The teen boy nodded and proceeded to go through the window, however he ended up stuck due to his size, he looked at the headmaster as if requesting some help.
"Nope" was the grey haired man's response as he walked off leaving the poor boy to be stuck in the window and find his own way out "FUCK YOU OZPIN!" AJ hushed shouted as his legs were kicking in a wild motion.
He sucked in his gut as he was slipping through more, surprisingly he can keep his breath for about a few seconds before he cheered "I'm out!" he gave a mini cheer but he remembered where he was at and looked down, he was at least 3 floors above the ground.
"Merde" he said in French and fell to the ground with a thud.
*Thud* "OW!"
He gave a soft shout as he slowly got up, he dusted himself off as he looked towards the forest where the sounds of howling could be heard, he sighed as he started to head his way over there.
~Emerald Forest, Night~
*SPLASH*
Were the sounds of liquid elements hitting against the tree bark, the newly transformed Jaune Arc bit into a Beowolves neck and ripped out causing black blood like substance to spill onto a nearby tree that it was being pressed against.
Behind the bestial entity were a plethora of dead and mutilated Grimm with black ooze like substance leaking out of their missing limbs/skin as if blood.
One of which was RIPPED in half and its 'blood' oozed out forming a puddle around it.
Another had it's arm ripped off by the converted beast.
Right now Jaune was in his enraged state as he tossed the now dead Grimm's body like a ragdoll, it's torso had impacted on the side of a tree with a sickening crunch.
It was a good thing it was already dead.
Some Grimm were either retreating in fear or were foolish enough to try and challenge it, but as they try and leave the golden beast pounces on them and proceeds to murder them.
The yellow werewolf jumped a few feet into the air and landed on a boarbatusk , he then proceeded to pull and rip off the tusks of the dark creature.
A few beowolves tried to run away and live once again, but alas they're nothing more than just pitiful drones.
*Thud*
*Thud*
*Thud*
Were the sounds of 3 headless Grimm corpses hitting the ground, their heads were rolling next to them but they were not killed by claws, bites or anything like that. A black sword like blade could be seen in the moonlight as Jaune kept feeding on the flesh of Grimm.
Jaune Arc was feasting on the Boarbatusks' open neck, but turned to see a newcomer, he sniffed the air and let out a growl of his own. He hunched over and was looking at the direction of the oncoming footsteps.
"YO!"
AJ Levi was the one to step out of the shadows as in his right hand was the hilt holding the blade that decapitated the retreating Grimm, he used his left hand to wave at the turned male while being carefree.
The changed huntsman-in-training let out a low snarl as he began to circle around him.
The obese teen was walking mirroring Jaune's circle as to not be caught off guard "Jaune... Listen man you need to calm the fuck down, you've let out your steam... It's time to sleep and I promise I'll tell you in the morning" he said trying to calm down the snarling werewolf.
The yellow wolf beast growled as he stood up hunched over before letting out a loud howl to the full moon.
The 1st year sighed as he saw this action "very well... If you want to do this, just don't blame me if you end up losing something" he told him as he lowered his left hand to his hip and pulled out a revolver, he then stood there across from Jaune Arc as both opponents stare down each other.
Jaune Arc, recently turned Werewolf was growling still holding back a lot of pent up rage.
AJ Levi, looking back at the yellow monster that was in front of him, he sighed as he is now hoping that he doesn't have to kill him.
~Beacon Academy, Headmaster's office~
Ozpin sat in his chair sipping his coffee, he looked to his colleagues and showed them what the cause of the loud howl came from. It was indeed a wolf but not one they were thinking.
"H-Headmaster... T-This must be s-some kind of m-mistake..." stuttered Glynda Goodwitch as she saw the recording of what happened earlier, she couldn't believe her eyes at what her mind saw and how could she when she saw a student of hers transform into a monster of fantasy.
"Glynda I can assure you that this is not false, for I have checked it myself even tripled checked it to be sure and I mean it when I say what we saw right now is the reality."
She still stared at the screen and saw the yellow werewolf with glowing purple eyes began to savagely rip apart Grimm piece by piece, she even swore she saw some Beowolves look SCARED.
Ozpin simply sipped from his cup "now we know why Mr. Arc's aura levels are completely void" he said as he held up a scroll that showed team JNPR's overall Aura Level.

[Jaune Arc: 0%]
The deputy assistant looked at him "how does this explain Mr. Levi's own Aura levels?" she asked him as earlier she checked everyone's aura levels, she found that AJ himself had 0% Aura, Jaune had 0% as well but she assumed it was a glitch and figured she could get her scroll checked out.
As it turns out Jaune nor AJ have a single trace of Aura around them.
"Yes Ms. Nikos brought it up as well, I was fascinated yet somewhat disturbed by Mr. Levi's lack of Aura" he said as he got up and walked over to the elevator, he was followed by his assistant.
The blonde haired woman simply glared at her superior "and yet you still allowed him to attend?! He could have been injured or worse!" she couldn't believe that the headmaster was this laid back to allow even someone who has NO aura whatsoever to attend a place where only those who have unlocked them attend.
"Now Glynda Mr. Levi may indeed have no Aura levels, but do you recall the way he looked at us when we first met him?" he stepped into the elevator and pushed a button, the elevator doors closed and it proceeded to go down the tower.
Miss Goodwitch nodded "indeed I do..." she remembered looking at AJ's eyes back at the police station and she could see so many things, things that no child so young as him could ever have.
Hate.
Rage.
Distrust.
Wary.
Anger.
And one of the most important of all...
Sorrow...
It seemed he caught onto their intent quickly and made a random off hand comment about her being a dominatrix, she slapped him with her riding crop.
"Right now Mr. Levi is confronting Mr. Arc by himself, we're to provide support seeing as he somehow knows how to deal with this" spoke the aging huntsman once again as he recalled seeing AJ leaving the infirmary.

"... You're the one who let him out weren't you?"
"Maybe"
~VAGD, dorm room~
Dove Azure's eyes slowly slid open, her mismatched eyes were looking at the ceiling of the dorms, she sighed as she got up and got dressed. Before she could do anything do she looked and saw both of her other teammates were sitting up in their beds as well, they looked at her and spoke "can't sleep?"
"Yeah"
"Is it about your partner?~" asked Gran in a teasing tone, she never seen Dove so worried earlier when they took him to the infirmary.
The rabbit faunus' cheeks turned a tint of red for a moment "N-NO! I can't sleep because of the fucking howling!" she responded to the teasing and pointed to the open window, the reason why it was open was because their dorm room got too hot and decided to leave the window open to let the cool air in.
Unfortunately thought both Dove and Gran heard the loud howling into the forest, at first they assumed it was a beowolf or a normal type of wold and wanted to sleep, but then the howling became more... Feral like, unnatural even.
The two faunus didn't know why but for some reason they were shaking, not from the coldness either.
"Do you two want to head out?" asked Gran to her two teammates, their leader was probably still in the infirmary and maybe letting out some steam from the constant howling could make do, not only that but maybe they can also secretly investigate what was making that horrible noise.
Dove nodded and Vermilion shyly shook hers as well.
"Then let's get dressed ladies and get pumping! We're all technically not 1st years so we can totally go out and explore!" she said with excitement in her tone that she already became hyper.
At that the girls got up and began to get dressed into their combat attire.
Dove wore a white blouse that exposed her shoulders, she put on a black bowtie around her neck, she also wore her black jacket with red trimmings loosely only hanging around her elbows, she put on a black skirt with red trimmings as well and a pair of colorful pins, her legs were covered by black knee socks and she put on a pair of brown shoes. For her hair she made sure it was fine before she manages to tie it into a ponytail, she made sure her bunny ears were alright and not harmed in anyway.
Gran put on a pink shirt that was bright enough to see even in the dark, she wrapped a belt around her waist, she put on knee socks with black, white and red between colors, she put on her hands a pair of fingerless gloves that were color brown. She then wrapped a large scarf around her neck to protect her against the cool air. She brushed her hair before placing a pin on the right side of her head next to her wolf ears.
Vermilion had put on a dark blue shirt that was sleeveless, she also placed upon both of her arms is a pair of red and blue arm sleeves to cover up, for her leggings she wore a skirt that was colored black like Dove's but no trimmings, she also made sure to put on a pair of socks, normal, onto her feet to protect against the cold. for her feet she place black shin boots on. For her hair she decided to do what dove did and pull some of it back and put it into a bun.
Now the girls were all prepared and ready to head out, but Vermilion looked at where her team leader's bed is and walked over to it, this earned the questioning gazes of her other two teammates.
"Vermi?"
"Vermilion?"
She walked to AJ's bed and got onto her knees and looked under to see if his duffle bag was there, lo and behold it was there in the darkness of his bed. She reached forward and grabbed the strap before pulling it out, she looked to her two friends.
"I-I-I fi-figured w-w-we should g-gi-give this to o-ou-our l-le-leader... H-He d-do-doe-doesn't u-us-usually l-le-leave without i-it r-ri-rig-right?" she managed to stay and placed the duffle bag onto his bed, but she had some difficulty holding it due to how heavy it was.
"H-He-Hea-heavy..."
After the explanation the other two girls nodded, now that they think about it ever since they've gotten into their dorm they haven't seen AJ without his duffle bag, if you don't count what happened in the cafeteria.
And so the three ladies of VAGD decided to go to the infirmary first and hand the bag to their missing team member.
~Beacon infirmary, Beacon academy~
Blue and Green eyes twitched with annoyance and a hint of anger.
The reason why?
The answer: AJ's not in his bed and the window's open.
Oops on his part.
"I. Am. Going. To. KILL. HIM!" Dove said through gritted teeth as she saw the missing body of her partner and the window open, meaning that there could only be one explanation for this and one she hopes her supposed 'leader' will explain once they find him.
Team VGD wanted to come over and give AJ his bag as he seems to love it, but to their surprise, and Dove's rising anger, AJ was nowhere to be seen and the open window gave them the answer.
"You know I'm kind of feeling your rage Dove... But at the same time you gotta give him points for having balls of steel" said Gran as she walked over to her team leader's bed and saw the imprint he had left before sneaking out.
Vermilion was wincing and quickly took behind cover behind a nearby curtain, she's slowly knowing just how much anger Dove has.
An elder but wise voice spoke from the entryway.
"So he actually managed to do it? Gotta give him credit where credit is due" Ozpin sipped on his mug.
""HEADMASTER!"" both Glynda and Dove yelled at the headmaster but for different reasons.
For Dove it was because she wanted to tell the headmaster about her partner's current 'rule breaking streak' and missing from the infirmary.
For Glynda however it was because the tone that the headmaster said sent signs to her, which meant that he knew or had a hand in it.
"Yes I'm here" he replied calmly as he looked at the empty infirmary, seriously though if Mr. Levi can fit through a window then he has to have skills to match a hunter-in-training.
"AJ'S GONE!" shouted Dove as she looked at him dead in the eye, but she got a response from the combat instructor "we are very much aware of that Ms. Azure and I believe that the good headmaster here has some explaining to do"
"Yes he is indeed gone, to deal with a situation at hand"
""OZPIN!"" both woman shouted at the man again for his laid back attitude.
However an ungodly howl could be heard from the forest, it sent chills down their spines.
"Vhere did he go?!" demanded Dove as she now knows that the headmaster had a hand in this, but soon for her and Gran they heard gunshots in the distance... In the forest to be exact.
Gran looked to the window "oh no..."
Vermilion gulped "oh no"
Dove whispered with a hint of fear in her voice "oh no"
~With AJ and Jaune~
"OH YEAH!" AJ shouted as he had dodged another claw attack, he grunted in pain a bit as he used his right hand to hold his left side, his hand was covered in a red liquid, and aimed his pistol at the beast he was fighting with.
They were in a clearing made up of their own fight, the trees were missing large chunks of their barks, some of them were even cut with something sharp, some of them had fallen down and their roots were still in place. A whole row of trees were broken but the way they were made it like something was pushed against it.
Nothing normal could have caused this much destruction, at least nothing natural...
The raven haired teen panted a bit as he lost some blood, he looked at Jaune but aimed his pistol and fired a shot of his 1911 Colt at the werewolf, hoping to at least score a hit. Jaune roared in pain as he felt his shoulder be grazed, he also was badly injured as there's several slash marks on his body but they were faint signs.
The bullet casing ejected out of the chamber and landed onto the grass, it rolled and yet it shined on the reflection of the moonlight, it wasn't gold, nor copper or even brown or iron...
It was silver.
AJ looked at Jaune for a brief moment before he decided to rush towards him and ram his shoulder against the chest of the lycan, he felt pain but he didn't care for now all he did care about was subduing Jaune Arc, the rampaging werewolf. But he couldn't retaliate in time to dodge or block for the yellow beast responded by digging his claws into the boy's back digging deep into the skin.
The fat male seethed in pain but he also retaliated by punching the transformed beast in the neck causing him to pull back and cough, he pulled out a 2nd pistol from under his jacket and shot at Jaune's thighs. The monster howled in pain but grabbed AJ's leg and used its monstrous strength to smash him against the ground and a nearby tree like a club, he then threw AJ against a rock where the sounds of something breaking could be heard.
"Ooww" The glasses wearing teen groaned in pain as he looked behind him, he saw the rock formation have a little crack where his back connected with it, he turned back and saw Jaune sprinting towards him on all fours.
Before the beast can jump and maul the poor teen, an axe was seen hurling towards Jaune and it connected with him in mid-air, it was embedded into his side as he howled in pain.
AJ turned to see who threw it and saw his partner Dove Azure stand in front of him, she looked back at him "looks like I've gotten here just in time" she said as she raised her shield in preparation to defend him. The obese teen was about to say something when Dove was suddenly sent back flying, this was due to beast Jaune using his speed to ram himself into the girl's shield and utilizing his bestial strength to force her back.
He pulled out the axe from his side and looked to Dove, he growled and threw it at the girl in an attempt to kill her with her own weapon. However the attack wouldn't connect for another shield blocked the hurling object and was smacked aside, the owner of the new shield was Vermilion as she pulled out her sword from the top of her shield and prepared to fight the werewolf Jaune.
The changed beast couldn't do anything for the feeling of twin sharp objects were cutting into its back and it roared in pain, the newcomer who had dared to injure him was a woman in pink with wolf ears.
Gran had ran up behind the beast and flipped herself into the air, while doing so she also slashed at his back to make him feel pain, she landed in front of AJ and gave him a wink before returning her focus onto the monster in front of them.
The enraging lycan had roared at them and stared at the four individuals, one injured and 3 healthy but that would soon change as it got on all fours and rushed towards AJ and Gran. Seeing this Dove quickly got her axe and once more tossed her axe at the beast, however it turned and shocking caught it in with a hand and then stood up and tossed it at Gran and AJ.
Seeing this the dagger wielding gal manages to quickly deflect it to the side but in doing so left her wide open, the lycanthrope took advantage of this and slashed at least attempted to slash at her side that was exposed. However the attack wouldn't connect with the dual wielding female as AJ had manage to get up and block the attack with his left arm, cutting the sleeve and leaving marks on his arm, he then proceeded to punch Jaune in the face with his other hand and send him flying a few feet away.
"Thank you!" thanked Gran cheerfully despite almost being harmed, the obese boy nodded and flicked his left wrist as if to rid of the pain "just be careful okay? Wouldn't want to hear someone complain about losing their daughter/friend" he said as he now stood in front of Gran and was looking at the recovering werewolf.
Both Dove and Vermilion joined up with the two and now the whole team was together "how do ve beat Jaune?" the bunny faunus asked her partner as he had seemed to know what was happening, she still was pissed at him though.
"Well considering that we're up against a newly made werewolf... We've gotta fight him to a standstill pretty much, Jaune may have turned now but he still posses his intelligence" AJ said as he was now standing straight and no longer holding his side, it seemed to have stopped but that didn't make the others worried still.
"Y-Yo-You're s-st-still i-in-injured A-AJ" spoke Vermilion Fiye as she saw how bloody his shirt was from that open wound, she feared that he's being too risky to do anything, AJ responded "Ain't nobody got time for that" he replied as he gripped his left wrist.
"Jaune's already tired gang! We have to beat him!" said Gran still in her cheerful mood as she twirled her twin daggers in her hands.
In the distance the sounds of heavy footsteps were approaching and Jaune Arc in his beast form was hunched over and growled at them, he brought his claws to a boulder and slid it across sharpening his claws a bit.
"Aaahhh... I see..." muttered the obese male as he saw the action, this earned the attention of his fellow teammates "vhat iz he doing?" asked Dove as she saw the monster across from them hunched over and looking as if taking a stance. "Jaune is... He's challenging all four of us against him... How one can tell the difference between beast and human, beasts usually challenge opponents either for pride or to prove one's own self... Human means that they can form strategies or even retreat, this one is the former." he said as he looked at Vermilion holding his duffle.
Seeing her team leader look at her Vermilion let a light blush "y-ye-yes?" she asked with a stutter, her leader pointed to his duffle bag and she immediately knew what he meant "h-he-here you go" she handed him his duffle bag but had difficulty because of the weight. AJ had his bag and lifted it using one hand, he walked to a nearby tree stump that he had cut when fighting against Jaune earlier and placed his bag there, he unrolled it and there were an entire assortments of gun parts.
Jaune just huffed and snorted, preparing himself to face against the multi-year team.
AJ was done with forming a weapon using the parts and he turned to reveal what it was. The girls were impressed "oh an SMG? What's the design?" asked Gran as she looked at the newly made weapon from AJ's duffle bag and was intrigued by its design, but there was something off about it though, Vermilion seemed to approve with a nod as she was a fan of SMGs, Dove looked at it and thought it looked a bit funny but focused back onto the task.
Spotting their distraction Jaune got on all fours and rushed at them with speed, he had then intention of winning this fight, he rushed and was ready to pounce on them. But the black eyed male would quickly push Gran away just in time for her to dodge, he would use his reflex to quickly dodge as well and when he looked at Jaune he aimed the SMG at him and fire.
No avail to the shots connecting however as he was looking at the fat boy Gran had jumped onto his back and plunged her daggers into his back "gotcha!" she shouted as she was now on his back.
Dove Azure twirled her axe in a motion as it slowly shifted into a different form, the bladed end slowly slid back as it connected in place into the doge of the handle forming into a stock, the end of the handle slowly opened up to reveal a hole where the dust bullets would exit out as a small trigger ring would slowly extend out from the bottom of the axe and now hold Dove's finger. She took position and aimed her rifle at Jaune.
Vermilion charged at Jaune with the intention of having him focused on her, she was soon surrounded by an orange glow as her eyes soon followed in terms of glowing orange hue as she gritted her teeth and looked at the beast.
Jaune in his beast form looked at Vermilion and growl, barked and howled at her as he was now focused onto her being. Gran quickly got off of him and kneeled behind him and using her two daggers to slash at the monster's calves forcing it down onto its knees, he howled in pain but still focused onto Vermilion glowing aura as she still gritted her teeth and even smacked her shield with the blunt side of her blade as if challenging him.
AJ looked at them and saw what they were doing, he let out a groan as he sprinted towards Jaune with surprising speed and he pulled out a knife of sorts. However before the raven haired teen would do that Jaune let out a roar and was now rushing at the shield wielding swordswoman and raised a claw to slash at her, without any sort of warning Dove fired at Jaune and the dust bullet collided with his face causing a bit of flame and ember to spew out.
The obese male was behind him and plunged a knife into his back, this caused the werewolf to backhand him away a few feet hitting the floor as it roared in pain, lastly Vermilion would let out a shout of her own as she used her shield to bash Jaune's face and caused him to fall backwards hitting the floor and further plunging the blade deep into his back.
With a howl of pain Jaune Arc, with his last amount of strength howled to the moonlit sky and let his cry be heard throughout all of the forest, and soon his body slumped forward down onto the ground making a thudding sound.
*THUD*
Jaune Arc, Lycanthrope of Remnant, newly created werewolf now lies on the ground, defeated.
Victor...

~Beacon cliffs, outside of Emerald forest~
"They did it headmaster, they managed to defeat Jaune Arc and end his rampage, though did Mr. Levi really have to plunge that knife deep into Mr. Arc's back? If it wasn't for the cameras I would have assumed he was intently killing him." spoke Glynda Goodwitch as she saw on her scroll the victory of team VAGD and the subduing of Jaune Arc, she turned to her colleague "how will we explain this to team JNPR that their leader is a werewolf?"
Ozpin answered "we won't... At least not us, I believe that is Mr. Levi's job to do so, but regardless that boy is right about one thing Glynda; The Grimm may not be the only threat we may be facing anymore, now that we know the supernatural is real." he sipped his coffee mug.
Glynda didn't like it but he had a point, Mr. Levi knows more about the supernatural even though mostly fairy tales, however if tonight was any indication then how many people in the kingdoms are truly humans or faunus?
"Though I suspect Mr. Levi will be bragging this against us, after all the first time he revealed this information we all believed he was making things up. Now he has the right to brag about it, though whatever information he has will be useful" he says as he's already thinking of what to use Mr. Levi's current talents regarding the supernatural now that he, his assistant and his students are now aware of the beings that walk among them.
She nodded as she remembered what he had told her, what had transpired the day when Mr. Arc almost died.
~Flashback, a few days ago~
Ozpin, AJ, Dove and the rest of JNPR without their leader arrived in Ozpin's office. Nora and Pyrrha were glaring at the fat male while Ren had a neutral expression, he preferred to hear things over rather than be quick to judge.
They all entered the headmaster's office and took their seats.
"Now before you 3 can make any rash decisions we'll let Mr. Levi explain himself, I'm sure he has a perfect reason since he IS the one who saved Mr. Arc's life" said the elderly huntsman as he motioned for the unusual male.
AJ sighed as he looked at them all "Jaune Arc almost died, not by blade, nor by bullet... But he had his throat almost ripped out entirely, and before you complain it wasn't Grimm because I'm pretty sure you all would have heard the alarms in your scrolls begin to beep right?" he spoke as he started to explain.
Nora still was glaring at him, Pyrrha seemed to lessen on her own glare but still wasn't believing him, Ren however was the first tone to inquire more "if what you say is true then please tell us how our leader almost died tonight"
The raven haired boy sighed as he looked out the window, as if he was contemplating on actually telling them anything.
Dove looked at him with a trained eye and saw his reflection having a frown, almost like he was hesitating to tell them the truth, but then again she wouldn't have believed him if it wasn't for the fact that she saw what happened with her own eyes.
At not receiving an answer Nora only intensified her glare at the boy and increased the pressure of her fists almost like she was ready to burst, she normally wasn't this emotional but she thought Jaune-Jaune was a pretty cool guy, he even came up with information on the fly. He was her fearless leader!
"Vampire"
That caused everyone to look at him "excuse me but what?" asked Pyrrha as she hoped she wasn't hearing things, the boy repeated "Jaune Arc was almost killed by a Vampire" he stated as if it was fact, he turned around and looked at them.
Hearing that Nora giggled "silly goose! Vampire's aren't real!" she played it off cheerfully, but for Ren he knew that she wasn't really in a happy mood and he had to agree, Pyrrha spoke up "I'm sorry but are you sure it's a Vampire and not a Grimm?" she didn't seem to buy it.
Ren nodded "I agree, this is no time for jokes AJ" he stated as this was indeed no time for jokes, he looked at Ozpin and it seemed even the headmaster wasn't fully buying it.
"I know what I said seems stupid, or even foolish but I'm telling you Jaune was almost killed by a Vampire" he said with a calm and cool demeanor, completely opposite of what happened during initiation, and his tone was serious.
"Mr. Levi while I do agree that Mr. Arc almost died if not for your and Ms. Azure's intervention but without any lack of evidence and support for this, well it seems to be far fetched" he stated as he looked at one of his new students.
AJ nodded "I am full aware, but what I am saying is true that there's Vampires among us, and they aren't the only beings as well" he stated with such confidence and absolution that it almost seemed he took this 'Vampire' threat seriously.
Nora only snorted "yeah right and you're a werewolf!" she said while pointing at him, she wasn't buying any of this baloney, sure she knows she can be crazy and is even fully aware of it but she didn't believe in this superstition. Pyrrha nodded "well... You did manage to save Jaune, but you couldn't have saved him without the help of Ms Dove Azure right?" she said as she looked at the faunus in question.
Dove looked and nodded confirming that she at least had a hand in helping with carrying Jaune but she had a feeling of pride swell up at being the one who was mostly the reason why Jaune Arc was alive, still though she had to give them that as she only saw the neck wound on Jaune's neck when she arrived to help AJ carry him into the infirmary. Anything after that she wouldn't see, so she didn't know exactly how AJ saved him.
"Fine... If you don't believe me then how about this? If Jaune wakes up and becomes frustrated, annoyed or even seems completely out of it then I win and you all have to believe me, but if he wakes up normal then you win. It's as simple as that" AJ stated as he looked at them all in the eyes directly.
"You're going to bet on our friend's well being?!"
"Yes"
"I don't know what kind of pancake mix you're eating pal but I don't believe you, and I don't like the fact you bet our friend's recovery!" spoke Nora with her tone rising, Ren had to agree with her "plus it's completely disrespectful to speak about someone behind their backs"
Pyrrha didn't say anything but they can guess, it was no shock to the two members of JNPR that Pyrrha has a crush on Jaune and wasn't feeling vocal, but she did give him a glare.
Dove Azure got up and looked at him before speaking "look, I don't know vhat happened to Jaune but I do know one thing iz zat ze thing's you say are completely insane, NO ONE vill believe you if you don't have any proof"
"Mr. Levi IF, this is a big if, IF Mr. Arc does even manage to recover and is completely out of character then you'll have to explain everything, and I do mean EVERYTHING as you are the one who knows what happened. But if he awakes with nothing out of the ordinary I may have to suspend you for student assault, is that clear?"
AJ didn't say anything as he nodded "just don't come crying to me when Jaune starts to become violent" he said in a cold and dark manner as he walked past them and entered the elevator, taking it down.
~Present day, Beacon cliffs~
Ozpin sips another mug of his coffee "indeed and I may owe Mr. Levi an apology, the rest of JNPR and I do." he stated as team VAGD arrived with AJ carrying Jaune on his back, he looked at them "I can assume that thing's weren't easy?"
"Yeah!"
"Uh-huh"
"Very difficult"
Surprising the male leader of the multi-year team was silent as he walked past them "if you're going to put Jaune in the infirmary I suggest that you stay there as well, the nurses need to check your body to make sure there's no permanent damage" said Glynda as she looked at the retreating figure of the only male of team VAGD.
Said male only nodded and continue his way to the school's infirmary sluggishly as he left earshot of what the assembled group was going to talk about.
"So team VGD, report on what has transpired" ordered the graying huntsman.
Dove stepped forward "vhen ve arrived to assist our team leader he didn't look too good, in fact one could say he looked like he vas going to fall over from blood loss and vas having a hand vhere the bleeding was. Jaune Arc in his beast form vas rampaging, it vas unlike anything I have ever seen." she stated and recounted what had transpired.
Vermilion stepped forward "a-after w-we a-ar-arrived D-Do-Dove t-th-thr-threw her a-ax-axe at it and i-iit c-ca-caught h-he-her w-we-wea-weapon i-in m-mid a-ai-air..." she managed to stay and give some more information.
Hearing that would cause the two veteran hunters to be intrigued "so what you're saying is that Mr. Arc as capable of having reflex fast enough to catch Miss Azure's axe in mid-air?" the older gentleman questioned as he found this to be intriguing, maybe interesting.
Gran nodded "yessir! He threw it right at us but I manage to deflect it!" she gave her usual cheerful smile and gave him a cutesy salute.
"From your girls' report is that Jaune Arc while in his beast form is able to retain his intelligence and even use weapons, this is indeed an interesting find... Anything else?"
The silver rabbit faunus nodded "yes my idiot partner had asked Vermilion for his duffle bag and he pulled out an SMG, vhen he fired it at Jaune zere was no damage but it seemed he wasn't intent on killing him for Gran here caught him by surprise"
"Is that so? Yet after that he plunged a knife into Mr. Arc's back and with the aid of Miss Fiye managed to defeat Jaune, but the stabbed look lethal" Glynda spoke as she saw the fight and viewed it once more
"Ve were wondering vhy he suddenly stabbed Jaune in ze back, he wouldn't tell us but whatever he did seemed to revert Jaune back to normal"
"Hmm... Mr. Levi does have a lot to explain, but for now that will be all girls" said Ozpin as he sipped his mug and turned to his assistant "Glynda make sure that AJ actually does stay there, we're both now aware of how he's like if tonight's actions are any indication right?"
The deputy headmistress nodded and bowed "I'll go and make sure that he actually listens, otherwise he'll serve detention for a whole week! He may have stopped Jaune Arc from going on a killing spree but that does not excuse him for breaking school rules!" she stated a bit strictly and coldly as she turned and proceeded to the infirmary to do her job.
If AJ don't listen he'll be in a world of pain.
"I pity that poor boy" muttered Ozpin as he sighed and sipped his mug again, he turned to the rest of the multi-year team "as for you girls you're to return to the dorm and rest, you still have classes but do not tell anyone of what happened here. Not even team JNPR until your own leader decides to make the call to tell them"
The 3 gals nodded and walked back to their dorm.
After being left alone he looked down at his scroll and saw the frozen image of AJ and Jaune in his beast form holding each others hands with the intent to overpower each other, he hummed before muttering "just how much are you hiding young man?"
If he had faunus vision he would have noticed a black cloaked individual standing above the pole on top of the school's tower "so it begins now.."
~Next day, infirmary~
A groan escaped from the person laying on the bed, they winced as they can feel something hitting against their eyes like a light, the eyelids slowly opened up and blinked a bit to reveal sapphire blue eyes.
The person laying on the bed was none other than Jaune Arc, he felt groggy and exhausted as he let out a strained groan, he slowly sat up but had to use his elbows to help him do it as he felt like something had just brutalized him.
"Does anyone know the license plate of the semi-truck that hit me?" he asked but not expecting a response, he just felt so exhausted, tired and now hungry as if he hadn't eaten anything in WEEKS. He let out a groan as he popped his neck and felt the result, in fact his entire body felt stiff and unable to move, he looked around with his eyes and saw that he was in the infirmary. "Here again?" he asked himself as he began to get used to the feeling already.
"It happens the first time, trust me" said a voice on his left.
He nodded as if understanding...

... Wait...
At hearing the voice Jaune quickly snapped his head to where the voice was at, his eyes spotted AJ sitting up and fully clothed in what appears to be his casuals.
AJ wore a grey v-neck shirt that was large enough to fit his round stomach and seemingly reach to his knees, for his pants he wore grey baggy sweatpants that had some rips and tears in it and once could see some patches of different colors, on his feet was a pair of black military combat boots that looked a bit worn, on top of his shirt was a dark navy blue jacket that had some patches as well but there was one thing that was different. On the left shoulder was what appears to be a symbol of sorts, his hands were covered by black furred leather gloves.
The symbol had a shield design in the background, in front of the shield was a wolf shaped head almost looking forward as if staring at whoever looked at it, behind the wolf's head was a pair of bat like wings that were spread out to cover the sides of the symbol and still enough space to show the shield, and for the final part of the insignia is what appears to be a sword with a straight cross guard behind the wolf head and bat wings as if 'impaling' it.
"How long have you been there?!" Jaune asked as he stared at the raven haired teenager bringing the topic back, said teen looked at him with a somewhat serious expression "I'm here because we need to talk, it's serious... No more bullshitting" he spoke with such serious tone too, when Jaune first met him he seemed a bit lazy, unique and even childish but to hear him talk so serious now seemed... Weird.
"I-I have to g-get d-dressed! And plus we're g-gonna be late for class!" he tried to counter and focus onto the task at hand, AJ sighed "we don't have classes as this is too important, everyone else can take classes but THIS cannot wait... I've waited long enough" he stated a bit coldly too as he must think whatever they have to talk about is serious.
The blond male nodded shakily not used to hearing this from his friend "j-ju-just let me text my team and tell them that-" before he could continue the other male growled and grabbed the scraggly male by the shoulder, lifting him with surprising strength "you can tell them AFTER! But right now we need to talk! Get dressed and meet me outside of the infirmary, we'll head to the headmaster's office together... There I will reveal what's going on"
Jaune became even more confused and somewhat scared, whatever was going on was TOO serious to ignore and so he quickly nodded and was dropped onto his feet so he can quickly get dressed.
AJ just walked out of the infirmary now with a serious look on his face, this definitely was a weird, strange and frightening day for Jaune Arc.
The blue eyed 17 year old finally got dressed and into his pumpkin pete's cereal jacket, although his armor were missing which was strange since he remembered having them on him when he went out to vent, in fact now that he thought about it he doesn't remember what happened at all!
After finally getting dressed Jaune Arc would exit the infirmary and look at the other boy "alright I'm dressed so c-can you please tell me what the heck is going on?" he asked as he's now becoming both concerned and confused as everything was happening and he had no idea how or why it's all happening.
The obese male doesn't say anything as he starts to walk towards the elevator where the headmaster is located.
~Headmaster's office, Beacon academy~
*Ding*
The door opened to show AJ and Jaune standing in the elevator, the black haired one walked in and stood in front of the teacher's desk "JNPR and my team. Here. Now" he said with a straight face, right now he's not bullshitting.
Hearing the clear change in tone Ozpin nodded but asked "may I ask why you're requesting this?" the fat male replied "it's better if my team and fucking JNPR know what's going on. I do NOT want to hear complaints and any kind of drama later on, that bullshit's a bit too overdone and cliche!" he said mentioning about certain genre's used in books.
The headmaster nodded and proceeded to summon team JNPR and VAGD "will team JNPR and VAGD report to the headmaster's office" and with that the meeting about to take place soon.
Now was the time to wait.
~15 minutes later~
The elevator door opened and entered the two teams, seeing their leader Nora quickly rushed to him and pulled him into a bear hug "JAUNE-JAUNE!" "GAH!" the leader himself was pulled into the hug and he could feel something cracking
*CRRRK*
*POP*
"Ooh!" everyone winced as they heard the sound of Jaune's back popping out of place as his body bend in a way that should not be physically possible, "Nora... Please... Let me... Go..." said the blond male with a strained expression as he felt his bones on his back pop out of place and felt something that no one should have felt, he's gonna have to reconsider being next to Nora if she keeps doing this.
At that the ginger nodded "sowwy!" she was in her chipper mood and then zipped back next to Ren, Pyrrha walked up to him "Jaune thank goodness! I was worried something happened to you!" the worried tone in her voice was clear, she really was concerned for her team leader who was missing the moment they woke up.
"It is good to see you Jaune, Nora and Pyrrha were both worried about you" said Lie Ren as he gave his team leader a small smile telling him that he wasn't too much worried, Nora just giggled and spoke up "you missed breakfast! We had pancakes by the dozens! We were in a pancake forest!" she was hyper but Ren sighed "she just had 6 plates of pancakes.
Ozpin hearing that thought 'we may need to buy more pancake mix, a full storage full of them'
At least JNPR was reunited.
The 3 members of VAGD looked at their leader "WHY ZE HELL ARE YOU NOT IN THE INFIRMARY?!" shouted Dove as she stomped her way to AJ and slapped him hard enough to make him fall to the ground, everyone saw this and looked at her with a twinge of fear and somewhat respect from JNPR's side.
"OW! WHAT THE FUCK'S THAT FOR?!" AJ yelled at his partner as he got up rubbing his reddened cheek that has the hand print of Dove on it, he got up and looked at her "I'm here because this is important! You, Jaune, hell even Professor Goodwitch deserved to know but she's not here right now!" he said as he looked at them all.
Hearing this Jaune asked "okay now that we're all here... What's so important that you have to tell not only me but both of our teams as well?" he has been curious and now that the one's that AJ thinks are important have arrived they're now going to know what happened.
AJ sighed as he walked over to the window and looked at the city, he spoke "tell me guys'... What do you know about the supernatural?"
In that brief moment in time, the raven haired male's eyes seemed to give a faint glow as he had formed a grin.

Man bet you weren't expecting me to write another chapter after the other one? Well to be honest I've kind of gotten a 'writer's rush' which is basically I'm in a writing mood.

Subject 1: Will there be romance? Yes there will be, but also expect some drama.
Subject 2: What was that fight? To be honest I am NOT good with fight scenes, I'm terrible so please excuse me for not making a fight seem cool or awesome.
Subject 3: What's that symbol on AJ's jacket? It's something that he knows, which will be revealed later in the story.
Subject 4: I originally was gonna make it around 10,000 words but I realized that it was because I was getting WAY deep into it so I cut back to the way it is.
Subject 5: If any of you are curious what AJ's voice is it's either Johnny Yong Bosch (Mighty Morphin Black power ranger Adam/Ichigo from bleach), Todd Haberkorn (Italy from Hetalia/Natsu dragneel from Fairy tail) or even Matthew Mercer (Levi Ackerman from Attack on titan/Jotaro Kujo from Jojo's bizarre adventure). Either one of those, unless you have someone who fits him then leave that in the reviews.
Subject 6: If you're wondering if this will change the story it will in a way, we'll still follow canon somewhat but deviates from it eventually.
Subject 7: You're the worst author ever. I know some of you may be pissed at my writing or even cringe but I'm not exactly one for writing good or epic tales, I do my best with what I've got and if my style degrades or improves I'll see it to the end.
