For the past few weeks Klaus, Caroline, Stefan and I have been searching for werewolves to turn into Hybrids and so far we've been unlucky, but our next contact which happens to be in Tennessee, hopefully will leads us to a pack.
Over the summer Caroline and I have bonded even more. Caroline is now enjoy what she is and I can see that she's changed, she's become more confident and she allows herself to have fun.
Stefan on the other hand has been brooding all summer and it's getting on Klaus's nerves. As for Klaus he is one step closer to finding the pack but I can tell he is getting agitated.
"What's the plan again?" Caroline asks from inside the car which is parked a hundred meters down from the house we are currently watching.
"What we've been doing all summer, two lost tourists whose car has broken down and their phones have died." I answer.
"You ready love?" Klaus asks me.
"Born ready." I grin. "Stefan are you ready?"
He turns to face me and nods. "Yes."
"Good let's go."
A blonde female walks outside of the house and starts whistling. "Rudy. Come on! It's too hot to make me come looking for you." The blonde calls out and starts picking up toys.
We make our way behind her and as the girl turns around she sees us behind her and she jumps startled. "Sorry we didn't mean to scare you." I apologise.
"Can I help you girls?" she asks catching her breath.
"Please! Our car ran out of gas a couple of miles back and we've been walking forever, this house is the first thing we saw, could we use your phone?"
"Don't you have a cell phone?"
"Uh yeah." Caroline answers pulling it out. "It died. I promise we aren't serial killers, can we just use your phone?"
"Sure."
"So we come in?" Caroline asks stepping forward.
"No." she answers. "I'll get the phone and I'll bring it out to you."
"I thought you country folk were supposed to be more trusting." I comment.
"I'm from Florida."
"Well that explains it." Caroline mumbles and flashes towards her and starts to compel her. "Now show us some little southern hospitality."
Klaus flashes up behind us. "Invite us in love."
The girl starts to tear up as Caroline holds her by her throat. "Can we come in now?" Caroline asks again.
Klaus, Caroline and I enter the house together. Caroline passes the girl off to Klaus and we walk towards the kitchen where we hear another girl. We appear in the entry and see a brunette cooking. "I bet you a hundred dollars that the dog ran off to a house with air conditioning." The girl predicts and turns around to see us. "What's going on?"
"Please don't be alarmed I was told Ray Sutton lives here." Klaus addresses.
"He's almost never here, he's on the road mostly."
"But I expect he makes it home, once a month." Klaus responds and the girls eyes go wide. "Ahh, that's what I thought. Where is he now?" Klaus asks and she doesn't answer. "If I have to make you tell me, it's going to be infinitely more painful for you."
Suddenly the woman runs out of the kitchen and heads for the front door. She flings it open but Stefan is behind it. "Aaah." She screams.
"I love it when they run." I chuckle loudly.
The woman turns back to us. "He's in Toll near the border. A bar called Southern Comfort. It's on Highway 41." She answers frightened.
"Thank you love." Klaus thanks then turns back to the blonde that he's still holding. "Now love can my friend come in?"
The blonde starts to cry and nods. "Yes."
The brunette looks terrified as Stefan enters emotionlessly. Klaus pushes the blonde into Stefan and grabs my hand. "Stefan kill this one quickly." Klaus orders then turns to the brunette. "And Caroline make that one suffer, we'll be in the car." He finishes and we walk out the door.
"Please don't!" the blonde pleads. Stefan looks at her and his face transforms and he lunges at her.
After our eventful night we head back to a hotel where I'm in need of some sleep. Stefan and Caroline get their own rooms within distance of Klaus and mine. "I'm going to shower." I tell him.
"Take your time love, dinner will be here when you get out." Klaus replies.
I smile. "You spoil me."
He grins. "You deserve it, especially tomorrow."
"What did you get me?"
"Not telling you yet."
I pout. "Nik."
"Sorry love. Now go, shower." He orders playfully.
"Yes sir." I finish and enter the bathroom turning on the facet.
Once I'm showered I wrap a towel around myself and exit the bathroom to find Klaus lounging on the bed. His eyes go wide and I see him lick his lips. I take the towel off my head and let my hair fall down my back. "Clean?" he asks not moving his gaze.
"Yes. What's the plan for tomorrow?"
"Find Ray." he answers as I put some underwear on.
I let the towel slip and hear him growl. "You okay?" I ask playfully.
"Careful love?"
"Or what?"
He suddenly flashes towards me and throws me on the bed and I squeal in delight. I look into his eye and can see the lust in his eyes. "I warned you."
"You did, but I like over stepping my boundaries and that look you are giving me is really turning me on."
"You know I think you are over dressed."
"I'm only in my bra and panties."
"That's too much." he expresses and attaches his lips to mine roughly. He kisses me until I have to come up for breath, but he doesn't give me much time as he starts to move his lips to my sweet spot travelling down my collarbone towards my breasts. I gasp as he uses his tongue and plants wet kisses along the way. Klaus reaches his hand behind my back and I arch my back as he rips off my bra. "That's better." He growls and attacks my nipple with his mouth.
"Oh, Klaus." I gasp in ecstasy. He looks up at me whilst continuing to suck my nipple and grins. He then moves to my left breast which is waiting for him to take advantage of. "Shit Klaus." I moan and he slowly travels down my stomach not leaving an inch of my skin missed and as soon as he is close to my pantie line my breath hitches. "Stop torturing me." I hiss.
"I love it when you beg." he smirks as he starts to kiss over the top of my panties.
"Fuck."
"You're so wet love." he approves and rips my panties off and attaches his mouth to my folds.
"Oh shit." I moan as he flicks his tongue against my folds and I can feel my orgasm building. "Shit, I'm close." He inserts a finger and that sets me into overdrive as I rise up onto my elbows and gasp in surprise as he thrusts his finger in and out. "Fuck." I moan. He inserts a second and before I'm about to release he suddenly sits up and stops. "You bastard."
He smirks chuckling as he takes off his pants and lies on top of me. "Oh love, you know I love to make you wait." he teases as he hovers between my legs. He attaches his lips to mine and I can taste my saltiness as I try to fight for dominance. "Ready love?"
"Always." I sigh and he immediately enters me. "Oh fuck." I gasp as Klaus starts to thrust in and out at a steady pace. I can feel myself getting closer and closer to my release. Klaus slows down to make sure he gets every inch of himself inside me. He gazes into my eyes with love and I kiss him as he works his magic. "Fuck, I'm close."
He picks up his pace some more and I can see he is not far off. "I'm not far behind you love." he growls and attacks my lips roughly. I move my head to the side and without hesitation Klaus's face changes and he bites his into my neck and starts to suck my blood.
Klaus thrusts a few more times before I scream in ecstasy. He thrusts a couple more times before he releases shortly after and continues to suck my blood.
He slowly eases out of me and I feel dazed and light headed. He instantly bites into his wrist and offers me his blood. I take his arm and attach my lips to his wrist and start to suck. I see his eyes roll into the back of his head and he rolls to the side as I continue to drink his blood.
Once I've had enough he takes his arm back and I lay breathlessly. "Wow." I say. He chuckles. "I lasted longer than normal."
"That's because I wanted you to." Klaus grins.
"Well I am officially beat." I yawn.
"My stamina can do that to a girl." He teases grinning and I hit him playfully and he pulls me into his embrace.
The next morning I get awoken by numerous kisses kissing my neck. I mumble and try to cover my face with a pillow but the rude person rips it away. My eyes adjust to the light and I see Klaus hovering above me. "You're mean." I pout.
He laughs. "But you love me."
"I may be second guessing that." I joke and he pulls me up and tickles me. "Shit, stop I was joking."
"I know." He smiles. "Happy birthday my love."
I smile and kiss him softly. "Thank you."
"I hate to put a damper on your day, but we have to get to the bar, Ray will be there soon."
"Don't worry I know why we are here." I respond and start to get out of bed. "How long do I have?"
"Caroline and Stefan are feeding so until they get back."
"That could be any second, and knowing Caroline she's going to be right on time."
"Then I would hurry." He suggests.
As it's my birthday I want to dress up for the occasion. I put on navy blue high waisted shorts with a white shirt and matching navy blue ankle boots. My hair is styled in loose curls and for my make up I have a natural smokey eye. "Ready." I announce.
"You look stunning my love." He compliments.
"Thanks babe." I blush.
"Before we leave, here." he offers handing me a small box.
"What is it?"
"Just one of your presents."
I open the black box and inside is a pair of diamond earings.
"Nik." I gasp. "They are beautiful." I compliment and kiss him thankfully. "They are perfect."
"You're welcome." he smilies kissing me again as we hear someone knock at the door.
"Open up you better be ready." Caroline bellows. I chuckle as Klaus opens the door and Caroline flashes inside hugging me. "Happy birthday."
I laugh. "Thanks Care."
"I have such a good day planed."
"You do know we are supposed to find Ray."
"I know, but Klaus and Stefan can handle the gritty stuff, you and I are getting drunk."
I turn to face Nik. "Do whatever you want love." He encourages.
"Well let's go find Ray then." I respond cheerfully.
I walk into the bar alone and instantly all eyes are on me. I make my way over to the bar and slowly sit down. I cross my legs and tap my fingers against the counter top. "What's up Ray?" a man calls out.
I turn my head slightly and see a scruffy looking man walk into the bar, this must be Ray. "Hey Red, get me a beer." Ray orders as he appears a few seats away from me. He peers to his left and notices me and eyes my legs, moving up towards my face and he grins. "Well hello there beautiful."
I have to hold back my gag. I turn to face him. "Can I help you?" I ask unimpressed.
"What's a girl like you doing in a bar like this?"
I roll my eyes. "I'm looking for someone."
"Who?"
"Ray Sutton." I answer and his eyes go wide.
"Who wants to know?" he asks spooked.
"Me." says Klaus's voice from behind him. Ray jumps back in shock. "I've been looking everywhere for you." Klaus addresses. "We started in Florida where we met a young chap who you used to work with before you moved to Memphis. He directed us to two lovely young women, and they led me here, to you."
"I think I'll be going." Ray says going to leave but Klaus stops him.
"Not so fast mate. You only just got here, now your type are very hard to come by."
Ray tries to go the other way but he bumps into Stefan and Caroline. "I wouldn't do that." Stefan warns as he pushes him back to the counter.
"Vampires." He growls.
"Swifty, swift Ray." I tease and stand up. "You see my friends here are vampires, and they have compelled everyone in this bar." I inform him and then turn to face Klaus with a smile. "And this man right here, is something else, a different kind of monster. He's got some vampire, got some wolf."
"He's what?" he asks confused.
"A hyrbid Ray, he's both."
"And what are you a vampire?"
Caroline steps forward. "Watch it." She warns.
"It's okay." I tell her. "To answer your question Ray, I'm human."
He looks at me in shock. "Why, why are you with them?"
"That's easy, I love them." I answer and take a step forward to Ray. "Now we are going to need your help Ray. Klaus here, wants to create more of him, and being that you are the first werewolf that we've come across many a moon, pun intended Ray, we need you to direct us to your pack, so where can we find them?"
"They can't compel me to answer, it won't work." He declines.
I glance towards Stefan and he nods. Stefan scratches his head and pulls out something from his pocket. "Barman." Stefan calls out. "Can you bring out the darts please?" Stefan asks. The barman comes back a few seconds later and hands them to Stefan. "Tell you what Ray, we're gonna play a little drinking game, something I like to call truth or wolfsbane." Stefan announces as he pulls out a pouch of wolfs bane and pours it into his hand crushing it with his fingers.
"This is gonna be fun." Klaus chuckles.
Caroline and I are drinking away at a shared table with Klaus as Ray is chained to a wall with darts. Stefan is sitting at the table in front of us stirring a glass of mixed wolfsbane. We've been watching Stefan torcher Ray all afternoon.
Stefan takes out the next dart and throws it at Ray again and it hits Ray in the throat. "That one must of hurt." I wince.
"You alright over there love?" Nik asks turning to face me.
I nod. "Perfect."
"Ray you can end this now." Stefan offers. "Just tell me where your pack gathers for the full moon."
"I can't." Ray declines.
"I know, I know. You live by a code and all that, but you see he's not gonna let me stop until you tell me. And I do whatever he says so, that's the way it goes around here." Stefan advises as a brunette woman appears in front of Klaus.
I frown seeing her so close to him. I go to stand up to get her to back off but Caroline stops me. "Just wait before you rip her head off." She suggests.
"Easier said than done, she's been eyeing him all afternoon." I retort.
"Hello mister Klaus. I have some information for you." The brunette acknowledges as Stefan and Caroline over hear what they are saying ""You told me to tell you if I saw or heard anything." she addresses. "A few of the guys spotted Damon Salvatore at the farm house."
"A few of her guys saw Damon at the house we were at last night." Caroline commentates.
I raise my brow and turn to Caroline. "He's still following us?" I question.
She nods. "Well, thank you Claudine. Tell your friends to keep up the good work." Klaus thanks dismissing the girl.
"Damon's still following our trail." I address appearing next to Klaus as does Stefan and Caroline.
"He's getting closer, I'm gonna have to deal with that." Klaus responds.
Stefan grabs Klaus's arm. "No, no let me handle it." Stefan suggest.
"Why should I let you leave?"
"Because you know I'll be back."
"Do I?"
"You saved my brother's life, I'm at your service." Stefan assures.
"Ah, you sound so tedious and indentured. Aren't you having the least bit of fun?" Klaus asks with a teasing smile as he points to Ray.
"I'll make sure that my brother doesn't bother us any more."
"Take Caroline with you." Klaus compromises.
Stefan looks to Caroline about to object. "I'll make sure he comes back." Caroline assures.
"What about our plans?" I ask.
"Damon had to ruin them."
I growl. "Make the threat meaningful then." I order. "And Caroline?" She walks back over to me and I pull her head to mine and whisper so Stefan can't here. "If you find out anything interesting let me know?"
"Will do." She grins and Caroline walks off after Stefan.
"What was that about?" Nik asks me.
"Stefan is hiding something. I've had a feeling all summer, and the first chance he gets he wants to go home, I don't by it."
"I'm sure if he's hiding something the truth will eventually come out." Nik predicts as he orders me another drink. "Now come on love let's celebrate your birthday."
Whilst we are waiting for Caroline and Stefan to get back, Nik and I are enjoying each other's company and I have had some more drinks. "You know if we keep this up, I might not be able to walk tomorrow." I chuckle.
He chuckles. "I can always carry you."
"Good, because if everything goes to plan and Ray eventually gives in, we'll be walking to the pack and I didn't bring hiking shoes."
"I can always buy you some."
"That is true."
"God you make me sick." Ray grumbles.
I turn to face him with a glare. "You make me sick just by looking at you so shut up." I retort.
"How could a girl like you fall for a monster like him?"
"Because I'm just as bad." I respond standing up and grabbing one of the darts. "Now, stop talking you mutt." I say and throw a dart at him which connects with his left shoulder. "Damn I missed your face."
"Bitch." He growls.
Klaus stands up and grabs a couple darts and throws them at Ray's throat which all land in the same spot. "Watch what you say Ray." Nik warns and Ray gulps struggling to breath. I start laughing seeing him in pain and Klaus sits back down and pulls me onto his lap and kisses me roughly.
Caroline POV
Stefan and I watch from a distance as Andie, Damon's human blood bag walks through the studio. Andie turns around ready to leave but a spotlight suddenly beams down on her. "Hello?" Andie calls out. "Not cool, my retinas are burning." Andie winces and tries to step aside but the light follows her. "Seriously what the hell are you doing?" Andie asks and there's no response as the light goes out. I flash forward and pull on a wire. "Hello, hello?" she yells out again. Andie starts to run but she trips over the wire and the lights flick back on and Stefan appears in front of her. Andie tries to get up but I flash in front of her. "Ohh, Caroline." she gasps. "Oh my god, what are you doing here? We have been looking everywhere for you guys." she alerts but I ignore her as my eyes start to change and she screams as I lunge at her.
A little while later Damon enters the studio and our plan is set. I'm holding onto Andie as she stands up on a rafter with me. "Andie." Damon calls out. His phone rings and Damon answers it. "Party Central."
"Where are you?" a voice bellows and my eyes go wide. That's Elena, how is she alive? My anger comes through, so that's what Stefan's hiding.
"Umm, by the punch bowl."
"Don't do that Damon, don't lie to me! I saw your closet." Elena shouts.
"Oh, oh, I gotta, gotta go break up beer pong." Damon lies hanging up. Damon walks further into the studio and sees his brother standing in the middle of the studio. "Stefan."
"Hello brother." Stefan greets.
"You don't write, you don't call."
"We are going to need you to stop following us, you are causing problems."
"With who? Klaus? Are we supposed to care what he thinks?"
"Not just him, but Briana too." Stefan answers.
I notice the change in Damon's posture as Brie's name is mentioned, maybe he does like Brie more than he let's on. "What's this got to do with her?"
"She's been calling the shots since day one, but now it's time to let us go." Stefan enforces.
"I saw your latest work in Tennessee, is Caroline becoming a ripper to?"
"Why don't you ask her." Stefan suggests and a light shines onto the rafters where I'm holding onto Andie who I've compelled not to say a word.
"Hello Damon." I greet.
"Blondie."
"In the flesh."
"You've changed."
"I sure have Damon and I feel great. I get why you used to be the bad guy, it's fun."
"So you do whatever Klaus tells you to do now?"
"No. I do whatever I want, I'm free." I answer.
"What about Brie, what does she think about this?"
I smirk proudly. "She was the one that convinced me."
"We need you to stop looking for us." Stefan orders.
"I can't do that."
"Well that's too bad, maybe we haven't been quiet clear." I alert and turn to Andie. "Andie." I compel.
"Damon? I can't move. She told me that I can't move." Andie says frightened.
"No, no, no, it's okay, Andie. Stay calm. Not cool!" Damon growls.
"Aw, come on, it's a little cool." I taunt. "Hey Andie, you can move now." I compel and let go of her and she starts to step off the ledge.
"No! No, no, no, no, no. NO!" Damon shouts and as he goes to save her but Stefan flashes towards Damon and holds him against the wall and witnesses Andie hit the ground breaking her neck.
Stefan grabs hold of Damon by the throat. "Let us go." Stefan orders and we flash off.
Brie POV
Whilst we are waiting for Caroline and Stefan to return Klaus and I have been taking turns at torturing Ray, whilst continuing to drink and make out. The drinks have hit me and I am drunk. "I see three of you." I slur.
"Alright love, you've been cut off." he says taking the drink from my hand. I pout. "Sorry love, you are going to be hating life tomorrow."
I got to stand up. "I need to pee." I announce.
"Careful." he warns as I stumble to the bathroom. I take a few steps forward and I start to fall to the floor but two strong arms catch me before I hit the ground. "Alright, you aren't going anywhere on your own." he orders sitting me down as I lie my head on the table. "Now I have some business with Ray, stay here." he advises and I salute him. "Okay Ray." Klaus addresses walking over to the pool table where Ray is currently tied to. "It's a three step process. This is step one, I want you to drink from my wrist."
"I already told you where to find the pack. What more do you want from me?" Ray questions.
"Have you not been listening? I've got great plans for you." Klaus answers and bites into his wrist and shoves it in his mouth. "You'll thank me for it later. There we go, attaboy!"
Stefan and Caroline arrive back and I sit up excited. "Care." I exclaim.
"Oh my god." she laughs.
"What are you going to do now?" Ray asks.
"Step two, Ray." Klaus answers and snaps his neck. "You're back." Klaus acknowledges.
"Did you doubt me?" Stefan questions.
"Not for a second. I knew you'd pass the test, but you still care for your brother, for your old life."
"Nah, I don't care about anything anymore." Stefan lies.
"You put on a good show Stefan. I almost believe you. Let's hope, for your brother's sake, he does." Klaus responds and takes a step closer to him. "You never stop caring about family, do you? But, every time you feed, the blood makes it easier to let go." Klaus advices. "Now go get something to eat, you look hungry."
"What are you going to do with Brie?" Caroline asks who is helping me out of the seat.
"Thats easy." he answers flashing over and scoops me up.
"Are we going?" I ask confused.
"Yes, love, just close your eyes." he suggests and I don't have to be told twice and my eyes close. "She's had fun."
"Sorry I couldn't spend the day with her." Caroline apologises.
"You've been spending everyday with her, it's fine." He assures. "She loves having you around. Are you happy that you're now not in the dopplegangers shadow?"
"About that there is something you should know."
"What?" Nik asks as he carries me in his arms outside of the bar.
"I can't tell you here but when there are no prying ears I'll tell you."
Klaus gets the message. "Can you get Ray?" he asks Caroline. Caroline nods and gathers the dead wolf and walks out of the bar.
