Hello lovelies I hope you enjoy this new chapter.

Anna xx

After Klaus told Rebekah and Caroline about what he did to his mother, Rebekah was obviously upset but she was thankful that he had the guts to finally tell her the truth. She gets that he couldn't previously because of their past disputes but now that they are closer than ever she told him she just needed some time.

Caroline on the other hand was all for Klaus killing his mother, if she was ever abused like he was she would've done the same thing.

Once they left I chose to stay with Nik for a final night before he leaves town. I turn to face him. "Hey, look at me." I whisper and his eyes land on mine. "Rebekah just needs some time. I know you're upset but you have to see the bigger picture, she's on your side more than ever."

He sighs pulling me closer. "Thank you for encouraging me to tell her."

I nuzzle into his neck. "She needed to know and now that she does we can focus on killing Mikael."

"Are you sure you don't want to come with me?"

"You know I don't like it when we are apart, but I need to be here to keep an eye on things, and make Elena's life hell." I joke.

He chuckles. "Thank you again."

"Don't mention it, now shut up and kiss me."

"You don't have to tell me twice." He grins and attaches his lips to mine.

The next morning I wake up alone in bed. Today I start my senior year of high school. I meet up with Caroline as we are starting to train for the war that's coming. "How's Rebekah?" Caroline asks.

"She's sad but she gets why Klaus did what he did." I respond.

"I would've done the same thing."

"Likewise but if I were to ever run into Esther or Mikael, I'd have a few words to say."

She laughs. "Did Klaus leave this morning?"'

"Yeah first thing, he's off to make more hybrids."

"And in the mean time we get to rule this town and make Elena and the Scooby gangs lives hell."

"That's like my favourite thing to do in my spare time." I joke.

"Alright enough joking lets get training."

I grin. "You asked for it."

After training I start getting ready for school; today I'm wearing a white high waisted skirt with a light pink cropped sweater and gold sandals.

Once I'm ready, Caroline and I get a call from Rebekah to meet her at her hotel. "Hi." we greet as she opens the door.

"Hi." She greets.

"Are you doing okay?" Caroline asks.

"I'm just shocked."

"As you should be." I reassure. "But now that you know truth, we can focus on killing Mikael."

"Did they really find my father?"

"Damon let it slip last night, and Katherine's been helping too, but we aren't going to let them win." I assure. "Now we need a plan and I was thinking that when the time comes, we pretend that Rebekah doesn't know the truth about Mikael and when they find out she pretends to be on their side but in reality she's feeding them lies that'll help us take him down."

"Now that's sneaky." Rebekah grins.

I nod. "I'll do anything to protect you and Nik, even if it means playing them, they need to think that you're prepared to kill Klaus otherwise it'll never work."

"And what do I do?" Caroline asks.

"We enjoy our senior year, we don't care what they do."

"What about Tyler?"

"He's Klaus's first hybrid and he's sired, he'll do whatever Nik asks him to do." I respond.

"Well it looks like it's time to move into the Salvatore's." Rebekah grins.

We arrive at the Boarding House and knock on the front door. We hear footsteps and slowly the door opens and Damon answers it and he glares. We barge past him not before I send him a sly smirk. "Where's Stefan?" Rebekah demands looking around.

"What the hell are you doing here and who the hell are you?" Damon asks glaring.

Caroline and I laugh. "Well hello to you too." I greet.

"My brother actually left me here." Rebekah announces.

"You're Klaus's sister." Damon assumes.

"Damon meet Rebekah." I introduce.

He glares. "And what are you doing here?" He asks again.

"Which room is mine?" Rebekah asks not answering.

"You aren't staying here." Damon declines.

I laugh. "It wasn't an invitation." I retort.

Rebekah looks between Stefan and Damon. "You two are actually very rude, I'll show myself to a room."

I chuckle. "I know the best one."

"You still have to answer my question, why are you here?" Damon asks again.

"It's simple, Rebekah is staying here and we're helping her get settled." I answer.

"Is that going to be a problem Damon?" Caroline wonders.

He glares. "Glare all you want Damon, she's staying here wether you like it or not, so get used to seeing her around, you might actually like it." I tease and walk Rebekah up the stairs.

We arrive at Mystic Falls High ready to impress. As we walk down the hallways everyone's heads turn to look at us. "I don't know about you but we are officially going to be the talk of the town now." I predict.

Rebekah takes a good look around. "So this is what high school's all about?" She wonders.

"That and hooking up, lots high school parties, prom and decade dances, the list goes on." I explain. "Oh and we have a bonfire tonight so that should be fun, I'm also the queen of the keg stand."

"Bonfire and keg?" Rebekah questions.

"It's a thing we do every year on the first day of the school, a party in the woods." Caroline explains. "And as for a keg, you'll have to wait and see."

"The last bonfire I went to was the one before my parents died so I've kind of missed a couple." I mention.

"And the year after that I was a complete idiot thinking Stefan would fall for me." Caroline adds solemnly.

Rebekah and I both turn towards her. "You were stuck under the Elena bubble and all things Elena." I retort. "If I was here I would've done everything I could to make it happen for you, but you know what, Stefan doesn't deserve you, you deserve someone that makes you happy."

"Brie's right, you're beautiful and smart, you have it all and one day someone will come and pick you up off your feet." Rebekah assures.

"Thanks girls." Caroline thanks.

"Don't mention it, we're your friends. Now let's cheer up we have our first appearance to make." I grin widely.

"And what do you know, I smell three miserable losers down that hall." Rebekah points out.

We find the hallway that Elena, Bonnie and Slutty Sophie are in and see that Elena is speaking to someone on the phone. "Who's she talking to?" I wonder.

"Damon's just informed Elena of his new roommate." Rebekah answers. "And she's not liking it."

"Let's break up this little party." I suggest and we walk up to them. "Well, well, well." I announce making our presence known and the girls eyes go wide eyed. They turn around to face us and they are in shock. "If it isn't Elena, Bonnie and Slutty Sophie."

Sophie glares. "How dare you!" she exclaims.

I chuckle. "Is that supposed to scare me? I'm surprised you're even alive, and oh my goodness you didn't do a very good job covering up your bruise." I mock covering my forehead dramatically.

Rebekah and Caroline laugh. "Did I knock you out to hard?" Caroline taunts.

"What are you doing here?" Elena asks.

"That seems to be a popular question today." I chuckle. "We are here because we can be. You don't own this town, and you don't get a say in where we can go." I continue. "I hate to break it to you, but we live here, so you're just going to have to get used it."

"Shouldn't you be off I don't know with your evil hybrid?" Sophie asks.

"Seriously why is she even alive?" Caroline mumbles.

"Don't worry, she won't be around much longer." I predict.

Sophie gasps and goes to respond. "Why are you here Rebekah?" Bonnie asks.

"I've been living in a box for 90 years, so I'm going to have the high school experience that I've never had." Rebekah replies confidently.

"And it has to be here?" Elena questions.

Rebekah takes a step towards them. "I'd watch how you speak to me." She warns. "It's unfortunate I can't kill you because of your blood, but one way or another I'm going to make your life a living hell, so watch your back girls there's a new queen in charge."

"And what do you think about that?" Sophie asks me.

I chuckle. "I'm giving her this reign. She's an Original she can break you in a second, I can just ruin your social lives starting with your relationships, and I Elena I think yours is pretty much donezo."

She glares. "You did this to him."

"Actually Klaus did but if Stefan hadn't lied to us all summer, maybe it could've gone completely different but don't worry girls, we're just here to have a fun senior year, so relax we aren't going to make your lives hell." I assure and go to turn away but I turn back and smirk. "Yet."

We leave the three girls in the hallway and the girls laugh at what they are talking about. "It sounds like Bonnie is over this." Rebekah overhears.

"She does have other stuff to think about." I respond.

"Yeah like your brother seeing his ex girlfriend, who's a ghost."

"Have you spoken to Jeremy?" Caroline asks.

I shake my head. "No, he's got so much going on."

"You're worried that he's going to hate you." Rebekah assumes.

I nod. "Out of everyone, he's the one person I don't want hating me." I confess. "Maybe if I explain to him why I'm doing this he'll understand."

"Don't worry about that now, let's just enjoy our day, specifically tonight." Caroline suggests.

"Do you think the Scooby gang have something planned?" Rebekah asks.

"They always have something planned, and it'll most likely be in regards to getting Stefan back, which means we need to be on our guard."

"We hear you, but now let's get to class before we're late." Caroline suggests.

"You two head in first, I want to make an entrance." Rebekah grins.

"I have to grab a book from my locker, I'll meet you there." I say to Caroline.

I grab my binder from my locker and start to make my way to History. As I walk down the hallway I notice Stefan and Elena are in a tense conversation. "Hi guys." I greet making my presence known. They both turn their heads. "Am I interrupting?"

"Yes, yes you are." Elena growls.

"Seems like a little lovers dispute, I'm sorry please continue."

Elena glares. "Can we help you?"

"Actually I was just on my way to history and came across your little argument and it seems heated, are you guys having problems?"

"That's none of your business." Elena growls.

"Stefan, I'd watch her, she has a temper." I tease and go to walk off, but Elena goes to put a hand on me but Stefan stops her by grabbing her arm tightly.

"Don't touch her." Stefan warns.

Elena gasps. "Stefan."

I laugh. "You still think he loves you, god you're pathetic and delusional. He doesn't feel anything, especially anything for you, that also means he doesn't care he's hurting you right now." I say as Elena tries to remove her arm from his grip to no success. I laugh a little louder and she turns to face me. "Stefan has been given direct orders to protect me from any potential danger, even if it comes by the hands of someone touching me, and it looks like something must have triggered, so the next time you feel like you want to put a hand on me, maybe think for a second because you might just lose it." I warn and she gulps.

"Hey, let her go." A voice bellows. Stefan and I turn our heads to see Alaric approaching us briskly. "Let her go."

I chuckle as he comes to stand by Elena's side. I give Stefan a slight nod and he releases her arm hand and flashes Alaric against a wall. "Stefan!" Elena screeches.

"Shut up." I shout.

Stefan leans down to speak to Alaric. "What are you going to do about Ric?" Stefan wonders.

I chuckle and nod at Stefan to let him go. He releases and I go to stand in front of Stefan directly in front of Alaric. "Well if it isn't Jenna's lying ex boyfriend coming to the rescue." I taunt.

"Like you can talk you backstabbed your own sister." He retorts.

"Ouch that hurt." I giggle. "Such strong words."

"Leave us alone."

"I was minding my own business when I ran into these two, I was on my way to class where you should be Ric."

"Why are you here?"

I smirk. "It's my first day of senior year, I couldn't miss that." I add, "Uh, but before I leave this awful situation Ric, I was wondering when's the last time you spoke to Jenna?" I wonder.

He frowns. "What did you do?"

"Oh me, nothing, I've actually been in contact with her and she's found a life for herself, she's living on campus and dating someone."

"She's dating?" He questions.

"Yes and not someone that lies to her."

"You've lied to her." Elena speaks up.

"Actually I haven't, I ended up telling her the truth and what do you know, she was proud of me."

"No, no way."

"Im afraid so, she was always on my side Elena." I grin and go to walk off. "I'll see you two in History, come on ripper."

In class I'm sitting in the back row next to Caroline. Elena enters and she glares at us she takes a seat. Stefan enters and sees a guy sitting in his seat. "Move, you're in my seat." Stefan demands.

Elena gasps as the scared teen scurries to another seat. Stefan takes a seat and smirks. "Hey you!" He mouths to Elena and Caroline and I let out a big laugh as Stefan sends us a wink.

"Welcome back, seniors." Alaric welcomes walking into the classroom. "Let's turn our brains back on, starting with this country's original founders, the Native Americans."

"What about the Vikings?" Rebekah asks entering the room suddenly.

"There's no evidence that Viking explorers actually settled in the United States. Who are you?" Alaric asks concerned as he observes the shocked faces of Elena and Bonnie.

"My names Rebekah, I'm new and history's my favourite subject." She grins sending a wink to Caroline and I.

After history Rebekah, Caroline and I get ready for cheerleading. Rebekah is going to join the team because a spot has suddenly opened up, and we also get to annoy Sophie some more. "Hey has anyone seen Dana?" A cheerleader asks. Rebekah, Caroline and I arrive. "Omg Brie your back." She squeals.

"Wouldn't miss my senior year." I grin.

"Is there a place open?" Rebekah asks.

"Yes." I answer.

"No." Interrupts slutty Sophie's annoying voice.

"And since when have you had the power to say that?" Caroline glares.

"Since you've been gone."

"I hate to be the bearer of bad news but with us back your power has ended." I declare. "Now to make it fair to everyone, Rebekah will try out in front of all these people."

"That sounds fair." Caroline agrees.

"Bekah what do you say?"

"I better go stretch." She grins.

"I'll get everyone's attention." I respond and grab the megaphone. "Attention students." I yell into the megaphone and people stop what they are doing including some of the football players. "I'd like you all to stop what you're doing, because we have a cheerleading tryout happening and we want you all to decide if she makes it on the team."

Rebekah appears and sends a smile to the boys and does a run up and does some impressive gymnastics. She lands in the splits and everyone cheers as the guys whistle. "What does everyone think?" I ask the crowd.

They all yell out. "Yes."

Rebekah stands as everyone comes up to her to congratulate her. "Would you look at that Sophie, she's on the team." I say eagerly and Sophie walks up to me and goes to hit me but I catch her wrist and she winces. I start laughing and suddenly stop and her eyes go wide. "That blonde hair dye must have leaked into your brain, because that's the second time you've tried to hit me. One more time and it will be your last." I warn.

Later that evening Caroline, Rebekah and I arrive at the bonfire. I'm wearing black skinny jeans with a red off the shoulder top and boots.

We make our way into the woods and find the closest keg. We find one and I grab us all a drink. "What is that?" Rebekah asks horrified.

Caroline chuckles. "This a keg."

"So this has something to do with that keg thing you were talking about? Is this what you drink at these things too?"

"Yes." I respond. "Here, try it, it's horrible but it does the job."

She takes a sip and spits some out. "Bloody hell." She cringes.

We laugh. "Welcome to a high school party."

"So what do you do at these things?"

"Mingle, drink, flirt with boys." Caroline lists off.

"Alright, let's have some fun." I suggest. "But please be on the lookout and be careful."

"We will." Bekah responds.

I make my way over to a group of guys. "Brie." They greet excitedly.

"Hey guys." I greet.

"Where have you been all summer, you seem to be in and out of town regularly now." my classmate Luke asks.

"You worried about me?"

"Just curious. Your sister seems to be talking a lot of shit about you." Another guy Brent mentions.

"Like what?"

"We've heard whispers, but that you're a lying bitch and you should've never come back to town and that you've ruined her life."

"It sounds like my sister is jealous fellas, not to worry I'm sticking round for now." I assure.

"That's good to hear." Luke responds.

"Thanks for letting me know boys, I'm glad you're not believing what she's saying." I smile. "Anyway boys I'm out of drink you have a good night."

I start to walk towards the keg when I hear a feel someone behind me. I turn around and see it's Damon. "Hello Damon." I greet.

"Brie." He responds in the same monotone.

"Can I help you because the kegs calling my name?"

He smirks. "Just saw you talking to those high school chum, seems like everyone just loves you."

"Of course they do, I'm a loveable person." I retort.

"I didn't think of you as a beer girl."

"I'm full of surprises."

"Can you do a kegstand?" He wonders.

I turn to face him. "Why would that matter?

"I'm hearing some stories and they all seem to have the same denominator."

"What are you up to Damon?" I question eyeing him closely.

He puts his hands up in mock surrender. "Hey, no motive. You said you wanted to have a normal senior year, well show me, prove it." Damon dares.

I grin. "I could never turn down a dare."

"Show me what you got Gilbert."

I smirk and suddenly let out a loud wolf whistle startling everyone around us. "Damon here is challenging me to a keg stand." I address the crowd. Damon raises his eyebrow. "You up for the challenge or are you afraid a girl could beat you?"

"You're on." He accepts.

"Caroline." I call out. She makes her way towards us grinning. "We have a challenge, find me some kegs."

"Make way people." She orders and the crowd encircles around us. "Tyler could you help me." She asks and points to a FULL keg. Caroline on the other hand already knowing the one next to it is half empty lifts it up and places it in front of me. "The rules are as follows you are to stay up as long as you can, if you fall you're out."

"What's happening?" Rebekah asks Stefan who's appeared amongst the circle.

"Keg stand competition; seems to me like two big egos trying to prove a point." Stefan replies emotionlessly.

"What about you ripper, have you ever done this or are you more of a messy drinker." She teases.

Unaffected by her teasing he shrugs. "You should know, you hung around me when I was at my best."

Elena hears this and gasps in shock. "Ready Salvatore?" I ask.

He grins. "Born ready Gilbert."

I smile and lean in to whisper in his ear. "No vampire abilities."

"Ready?" Caroline asks us.

"Need a hand?" One of the footballers asks.

"I think I can manage." I decline. "Ready!"

She nods. "Set, Go."

Damon and I press up and clamp the nuzzle in our mouths and we start to chug, when I say we, I mean he, this is how I get my bad reputation, I cheat. I pretend to chug and the crowd cheer as we drink up.

Five minutes later I get into a pattern of chugging and not chugging. No one has ever caught on to this, apart from my inner circle.

I hear the annoying Scooby gang cheering Damon on loudly, but it doesn't faze me as everyone else is cheering me on. I send my signal to Care and she does her thing. "OMG, what's that?" She shrieks pointing in the direction of the dark bushes.

Everyone including Damon turn their heads and this causes him to lose his balance and he starts to wobble causes him to fall down.

"Yes." Rebekah squeals as everyone turns back to see Damon is down.

I take one last swig and split down and land with a stick. I wipe my mouth with the back of my hand and turn to face Damon. "Told you not to inderestimate me." I grin as I offer him my hand. He hesitates but eventually takes it and I pull him up. "Not bad Salvatore, you've got form, anyone else would have collapsed ages ago."

He smirks. "Thanks Gilbert, but I know what you did and I shouldn't have been surprised."

"Me, what did I do?" I ask playfully.

After the competion everyone disburses apart from the supernatural community. "Well that was fun." I cheer hugging Bekah's side.

"Cause you cheated." Sophie retorts.

"Me, cheat, I would never." I say sarcastically.

"Lier." Elena yells out.

"Me, when would I ever lie." I tease walking towards her and suddenly Alaric stands in front of her. I chuckle as I look up at him. "My, my, my, Mr Salstman, you seem to be popping up everywhere."

He takes a step and Stefan and Rebekah flank my sides protectively. "What are you all doing here?" He asks Rebekah, Stefan, Caroline and I.

"Shouldn't I be the one asking you that, seeming as this is a young adults party and last I checked you were a teacher." I retort. "And to answer your question, I'm here because I was invited, it would've been rude of me not to show up as I rule these things."

"Bitch." Sophie calls out.

Caroline goes to get her. "Stop." I say and Caroline haults glaring at Sophie. "It sounds like you guys don't believe me when I say I don't have any ulterior motives." I address. "I'm going to say this one last time, I'm here to enjoy my senior year, if any of you and I mean any of you, try to stop me from doing that, I'll end you." I threaten. "I came to this bonfire in a great mood and now it's dwindled, so if you try to do anything tonight I won't hesitate to snap you like a twig." I finish and walk off with Rebekah and Caroline in tow.

Stefan stays back laughing. "You lot are useless. I should've stopped caring about you ages ago, you embarrass me." He expresses and flashes off.

Caroline, Bekah and I are on the bleachers a little drunk. The effects of the keg stand have taken its toll. "That was great." I state.

"Damon fell for your charm." Bekah mentions.

I laugh. "All for show ladies."

"And your old trick with the keg was great" Caroline adds.

"Works every time." I chuckle.

We hear footsteps and Stefan approaches us. "Stefan." We greet.

"I thinks its time we go, something doesn't feel right." He alludes.

"You feel it too?" Care asks.

"Feel what?" I query.

"Something's off so we should go before something happens." Rebekah answers.

We make our leave and head towards the SUV. I slide into the front seat and close it behind me. Stefan hops in the drivers side and as soon as he shuts the door they automatically lock and the car ignites into flames from the outside. "Stefan." I shout.

Caroline and Rebekah look on in shock. "Brie." They shout from the outside trying to get into the car but the flames have engulfed the outside.

I try to open the door but it doesn't work. Damon appears out of nowhere and tries to help. "Stefan." He shouts.

"We have to get them out." Rebekah shouts.

"Stefan it's not working." I shout still trying to open the door.

He tries it himself but it's no use. "It's locked."

"Who's doing this?"

"I don't know." He answers. "Crawl in the back."

I do as he says and I start coughing due to the flames and smoke. "Stefan you're going to have to kick the boot off." Rebekah directs.

Stefan doesn't hesitate and he kicks the back boot and it goes flying off the hinges. He immediately grabs me and all the Vampires flash off as the car explodes.

"OMG." I exclaim looking around at the burning rubble of what was once a car as Rebekah and Caroline rub my back comforting me.

What just happened? I almost got barbecued, someone was trying to kill me. "What was that?" Caroline questions.

"I don't know, but whatever it was, was targeting you." Damon answers pointing to me.

"How do we know it's not you?" Rebekah asks.

Damon glares and turns his attention back to me. "It wasn't them." I respond. "Bonnie wouldn't be powerful enough to do this."

"It has to be one of Klaus's enemies." Rebekah guesses.

"Who knows about me?" I ask.

"I don't know."

"Can we talk about this later? I want to get out of here."

"Come on." Caroline says helping me up. She takes a look at my face and winces.

"What?" I question.

"You must of hit your cheek on impact, you've got a cut." She says examining my face and I hiss.

"Whoever did this will pay." Rebekah promises.

"Who's going to be the one to call Klaus?" Stefan asks.

"Let's worry about that later, let's get you cleaned up." Caroline suggests.

Arriving back at the Boarding House Rebekah leads me to her bathroom and starts cleaning my wound. The adrenaline and shock has gone and I can feel myself breaking. "How you feeling?" Bekah asks.

I sigh trying to keep it together. "I almost died today." I whisper.

"Hey, we would've gotten you out of there no matter what." She reassures.

"If Stefan wasn't in the car with me."

"Hey stop that, you're fine, you're safe and we'll find out who did this." she promises. "Besides what would we have told Nik?"

I smile lightly. "I wish he was here."

"Do you want to go be with him?" She suggests.

I nod slowly. "He's always there to protect me, and not even one day there's a incident and I nearly get blown up."

"Brie, maybe you should go be with him." Caroline suggests walking inside shutting the door.

"What about you guys?" I question.

"It might even be better with you away it can look more like we'd be more willing to backstab Klaus." Rebekah responds.

"I really just want Nik." I cry.

Rebekah pulls me to her and starts rubbing my hair. "Everything is going to be okay." She whispers.

"I hate being so weak." I confess.

"It's what makes you human Brie." Caroline whispers.

"Can someone call him?"

Rebekah nods and leaves. "Hey, look at me." Care says softly. I turn to face her. "Everything is going to be ok."

A little while later Bekah walks back in the room. "That was Nik, he's on his way to collect you." She announces.

"Did you tell him?" I ask.

She nods. "I told him briefly about what happened, but once you've calmed down and rested you can tell him."

"When will he be here?"

"Soon."

"Why don't we go back to my place that way, we don't have to worry about anyone else seeing Klaus's." Caroline offers.

"Can I wait out on the porch?" I ask.

"Sure."

Arriving at Caroline's, Caroline grabs a blanket and we scoot down and sit together on the swing. "Just rest, Nik will be here soon." Bekah whispers and I feel myself drifting off to sleep.

A little while later I hear hushed voices. "How's she doing Bekah?" Klaus asks concerned.

"She needs you." Rebekah whispers.

"Can you tell me what happened?"

"Before the accident Caroline, Stefan and I felt something off."

"What do you mean?"

"We felt this strange energy like something wasn't right." Rebekah explains. "We decided we wanted to leave because we didn't want to take any chances. We got back to the car and Stefan and Brie got in. Once they were inside the car doors automatically locked and the car engulfed into flames." Rebekah continues. "We tried opening the door but it was magically locked. Stefan kicked open the boot of the SUV and we flashed away just as the car exploded. Physically she's fine but she's scared."

"And the Bennett which didn't do this?" Nik asks angrily.

"She was dealing with something else witch related, which might have caused the shift in energy, we won't know more until we find out, which is what we'll be doing whilst your building your hybrids."

"Has she slept?"

"Tried to but she wanted to wait for you." Caroline answers.

I hear footsteps approach and feel someone bend down in front of me. "Brie." Klaus whispers.

My eyes flutter open and it takes me a moment to gather my senses and I sit up. "Nik." I whisper.

"Hello love." He greets scooching in next to me pulling me towards him.

"You're here." I whisper.

"I came as fast as I could."

"Can you hold me please?" I ask trying to keep it together.

He pulls me tightly against him and I cuddle into him. "It's going to be okay. We'll find out who did this, I promise you."

"Sorry I made you come back." I apologise.

"Hey don't you dare apologise, and don't ever think I wouldn't, I'll always comeback."

"Promise?"

He looks me dead in the eyes. "I promise."

"Can we go?"

"Sure, whenever you're ready." Nik responds and helps me up.

"We'll keep you informed about what's happening here, and don't worry we know what we have to do." Bekah assures him.

"Thanks for looking after her."

"Anytime. And Brie, everything will be fine."

I nod. "I know, I'm just scared."

"Don't be, just enjoy your time with Nik, we can handle things here." Caroline assures.

"Be safe." Rebekah finishes.

"Thanks again." I thank and Nik and I head towards the car and get inside.

"Just sleep love, we have a bit of a drive." Nik advises.

"As long as I'm with you I don't care." I whisper.

"Sleep love, I'll wake you soon." He whispers kissing my head and I feel my eyes shut.
