Chapter II: "First Impressions"

Well fuck me...is that...that can't be. How the fuck is this possible. How did she get here?! How the fuck is Master Tigress sitting on my bed right now?!

Okay Ryan, calm down. A Kung Fu master from a fucking animated movie is sitting on your bed right now, she's most likely just as confused as you. Just make friendly conversation...friendly…conversation…

"Uhhh...h-hello…there"

I try to walk closer (like a retard) and then she stood up and unsheathed her claws, striking a defensive pose.

"Back off! Don't come any closer!"

"Woah shit! Okay! Okay! Okay...I'm not gonna hurt you...I just wanna know...h-how the fuck did you get here?!"

"You best watch your tongue when you speak to me, I am a respected Kung Fu Master and I will not be talked to with such profane words!"

"Right right sorry...I'm just...uhm...I don't know what's going on...ok...how bout we start over...my name is Ryan, and you are?"

I knew damn well who she was, but she didn't need to know that.

"Master Tigress of the Jade Palace.

I demand to know where I am."

"Well, Master Tigress of the Jade Palace, you're in my room. In my house."

She began to walk towards me. Oh fuck…

She then grabbed me by the throat. Fuck! Fuck!

"W-wait! Please! There's no need for that!"

"How did I get here?! Did you do this?!"

"I'd ask you the same thing!"

She squeezed tighter, holy fuck she's stronger than I thought.

"Answer the question!"

"Ack! P-please I swear I don't know!"

She let go, leaving me to gasp for breath.

"How do I get back to the Jade Palace?"

"I don't know."

She growled. And raised her clawed paw.

"No no no I swear I don't know! Maybe if you tell me how you got here I can try and help you. What's the last thing you remember before waking up here?"

She lowered her paw, sheathing her claws. She calmed down a bit, thank God.

"I remember...falling...from a great height…and then...I just woke up."

"Okay, so...I hate to tell you this, but I think you may have died."

"What?!"

"Please calm down. I said I think you died. I don't know for sure."

"That...that can't be…"

"I'm sorry but...it's most likely to be true. At least, it's the only thing that makes any logical sense. You died and now you're somehow reincarnated here in this world."

She looked up at me.

"What do you mean This World."

Fuck! Think of something!

"W-well, you're certainly not from around here. So the logic would dictate that you're from another world. I mean, are people like me normal where you're from?"

"Certainly not. I've never seen anyone like you in my life."

"Then it's simple. You left your previous world and now you're in another."

"I...I guess." Tigress looked visibly saddened by this realization.

"Damn, that… that must be rough. You're just minding your own business one day and then everything and everyone you ever knew is now gone…"

Her head sinks to the floor. Ah shit, I think I might have unintentionally hurt her. Dammit! I'm such a fuckin idiot.

I carefully leaned close to her, questioned my better judgement, then went against my better judgement by giving her a little hug.

"I-I'm sorry I brought that up. I sometimes speak too much and end up saying dumb shit I regret."

"Language."

"O-oh yeah, I also have a tendency to swear a lot. Sorry about that too."

"It's okay…"

I ended the hug and then a thought came in. I already knew for a fact that there was no way of finding a way to put her back in her old world, so hell, why not.

"Well...since you're here, this makes you my guest. I'm sure after dying you're probably hungry. Is there anything from your world that I could make for you?"

I already knew that answer, tofu.

"Well...uhm...is it possible that you have any tofu?"

Called it, but Unfortunately.

"Well um no, but I have noodles?"

"This world has noodles?"

"I was just as shocked to find out your world had tofu."

God, I'm a lying little bastard...I hate myself for having to lie to her, but if she were to find out she was a fictional character from a fictional world, and that her entire life was a lie...that definitely wouldn't sit right with her. She'd probably go insane.

And the very last thing that I need is a mentally volatile tiger.

"And lucky for you Master Tigress, I have all sorts of flavors. Come, I'll show you."

She hesitated a bit…

"It's okay...you can trust me. Besides, you practically managed to lift me up in the air by my neck, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't last long if I were to attack you."

I swear my ears were deceiving me, because she actually chuckled a bit at my little remark.

"Yeah...I guess so."

I think I might enjoy her stay here.
