Walking through Nevarro felt different without Maleena. The Child seemed down as they continued through the small town, the same route they always took. The Child cooed as they passed market stalls, crossing over the street to stand infront of a familiar grey door. It swished open as they stepped into the room, greeted by Cara sitting drinking from a small tin cup behind her desk. Her eyebrows and cup raised at the pair.

"What brings you back so soon?" She studied the pair, frowning. "Where's Maleena?"

"We ran into some commotion on some backwater farming community. We needed fuel and food."

"And?" Cara leant forward as the Mandalorian stood next to the desk, the Child's pod levitating next to the pair.

"Got rid of their Gamorrean problem," His head tilted. "Turns out that's not the only problem we had on the planet..."

A sigh escaped his lips, shaking his head. "They captured us both... They left us but took Maleena."

"They took her?" Her face looked incredulous. "They say where?"

"One of the men had her puck, handed her in."

"So you want me to try and find out who recieved her?" Cara gestured to the computer.

"I already know. It's Moff Gideon."

Cars shook her head. "But how? We killed him. We watched him burn!"

"They wanted her for having the Child, To know more about her," He paused. "They want her dead."

Cara stepped out from behind her desk and over to the door. "Follow me." The Mandalorian did as he was told, following Cara down the narrow path that crossed the street.

They got to a dark room Din didn't recognise, The long sand staircase reminding him of the old covent.

The Child sunk into his pod, ears lowered. The small candles did very little in making the damp empty corridor more inviting. Din had a bad feeling about being down here, but trusted Cara enough to continue in their journey. They finally reached a large wooden door covered in rusty nails, opening it to see Greef Karga sitting behind a long wooden desk. Two Mandalorian's stood behind him on either side with their backs pressed against the stone wall.

Thoughts rushed through his head at seeing the Mandalorian's. He hadn't been aware of just how many other's had survived, a sense of pride and ease filled him at knowing he wasn't alone. Greef slapped his hands together joyfully.

"Saw what you could do, thought I better call in the best of the best now that we made a name for ourselves."

Din's head tilted. "You hired Mandalorian bodyguards?"

Greef laughed. "Well I didn't hire them for their comedy skills." He motioned to Cara after a moment. "Now what brings you both down here? Can't be anything good."

Cara shook her head. "We need your help dealing with some imps."

"Now now you know how I feel about that whole buisness," The smile vanished from his face as he crossed his arms across his chest and leant against the desk. "I couldn't possibly be involved. I've made a new life for myself. Even you should reconsider Cara. That world isn't for us. I'm fine being the magistrate."

"You still hand out the odd bounty. Hardly changed much."

"Enough to know my worth," Greef shook his head and spun around to face the Mandalorian's behind him. "Escort my friends out will you?"

"Gideon has Maleena." Din's voice made Greef hold his hand up and stop the Mandalorian's in their tracks. Greef stood and turned.

"How?"

"Bunch of cowards tricked us. Sold her on. They had her puck."

Greef sighed. "Gideon?"

"He survived. He's looking for answers."

"Do you know where they are?"

Cara stepped forward. "He will have taken her onto his light cruiser," She paused. "I can't imagine he would put such a high value asset on just any old ship. The price on her head I wouldn't be surprised if he's guarding her himself."

Din nodded, his fingers twitching. "I'm setting off tonight. Shouldn't be difficult to track him down."

"Word was his cruiser was spotted around the Outer Rim. Informant on Tatooine sent out a signal."

Din's head titled in thought. "Shouldn't take too long to get there."

"I'm coming too," Cara nodded as Din glanced at her. "Gideon deserves to be put away for what he's done..."

Greef Karga sighed, shaking his head as he pointed at Cara. "Your only marshal of Navarro."

She shrugged. "Bring him back here then, then he's in our jurisdiction... Technically you should also be involved..."

Greef laughed sarcastically as he crossed his arms, standing in front of the pair. The Child raised his little hand and yawned as Din closed the lid on his pod, silencing the Child. "You drive a hard bargain Dune."

"Learned from the best."

"So whats the plan, huh? We just storm in and hope for the best?"

Din shook his head. "Use me as bait, tell Gideon that you are selling me out for protection. We get in, sweep the cruiser and find Maleena. Grab her and get out."

Greef scoffed. "That's your grand plan?" He leaned forward, seeing his reflection in Din's helmet. "Last time we tried that you nearly died."

Din stayed silent as Greef pushed on. "You seem to think that the three of us would stand any chance against a whole fleet, a whole fleet who are fully armed and ready and who will now be expecting you? What a great idea that is!"

Din waited for a moment before shaking his head. "There isn't just three of us."

"Oh? Who else do we have?"

"Your guards. They can fight with us."

Greef motioned to behind him. "My guys?"

"The Mandalorian's can help us," Din turned and began to walk to the door. The Child's pod followed behind him. "You'll be in danger after all." Din's sarcastic remark made Cara clap her hand and laugh and Greef's shocked face.

"You see! Pure chaos!"

Cara slapped Greef's shoulder as she moved past him. "Come on old man, lets get going." By now Din had left the room, the Child in tow as Cara followed. Greef closed his eyes and breathed deeply before motioning to them as he turned. The room suddenly became silent, only the faint drip of water leaking from a hole in the roof echoed.
