September 10th dear diary we spent today going over all the plans for my birthday dance party. we talked about food decorations and everything else. Its going to be amazing the color scheme is pink blue and lavender. And as my bio dad was Jewish, we will also attend synagogue so I can become a young lady in their eyes. Then the 16th is my baptism Elsie, and the twins earned their bibles and the baby twin's dedication and introduction. These will be a very busy next several days so don't be surprised if I don't write often. I forgot to tell you Kelly had her twins late the night of the 3rd they share her birthday. they are adorable and will also be dedicated the 16th.
September 14th dear diary today at 11:45 in the morning I became a teenager. We celebrated with my huge dance party the becoming a woman in the Jewish religion and a few other things. My big gift from mom and dad is a special royal vacation with my friends in a few weeks. it will consist of several different stops and Elsie Doc Elizabeth and Marie have been invited to join us older kids. We then had a huge dinner before the girls stayed for a sleepover. Signing off I want to spend time with my friends.
September 17th dear diary yesterday I was baptized as a member of the church, and it was so special there was a lot of my family there as well as several of my friends. We all had a huge southern specialty dinner and chocolate cake with peanut butter buttercream icing. Today my gold midwife test results came by owl, I scored 1100 out of 1200 so I am very proud of myself. the other girls all did about the same and Violet has hired another full midwife Amber's aunt Tilly. Son this means we will have even more clients. Right now, we have over a dozen pregnant clients. 6 of whom are due any day and 6 due within the next 2 months. We are proud of Dorrie who scored a perfect 1200 Violet took all of us Plus a few others out for ice cream and chocolates. Signing off I need to wind down I have had a crazy few days.
September 30th dear diary the last 17 days have been crazy busy with all 6 moms having new babies and in 1 case a set of triplets. We also had several royal visitors and made several visits of our own. I have decided to take 90% of my classes at hexly hall and only a few at royal prep as with my wanting to be a midwife I need lots of science and math classes. My classes at royal prep will all be history and arts classes including my dance class. Signing off I need to finish my homework and get some rest.
October 11th dear diary we have been really busy once again as mom had Elsie and I make several more royal visits while she stays with my great Grandfather on my birth fathers' side, he has entered hospice at 100.5. mom just came in we are leaving in a few minutes as he won't be here much longer, I need to go and pack an emergency bag so we can leave along with Elsie.
October 15th we lost my great grandfather just 3 hours ago and I will be busy here until the 20th so will write then sorry its so short but my family needs me.
October 21st dear diary we didn't come back until this morning so I didn't write sorry about that. We had fun even though we were gone for a sad reason. I got to see several cousins who I only see at these events. We all celebrated my great grandfather he is now with my great gran. Signing off till the 1st as I need to catch up on homework and work related things.
November 11th sorry for not writing like I promised but we all came home with what turned out to be pneumonia and were all super sick. We are doing much better, but we still must take it easy for several more days. I was able to go back to work today good thing as we had 10 moms in labor. We just finished with the last one and I am in a room at the Hauntly's as its late and Reuben is still sick. He caught what we had as did several of our staff. Signing off I am exhausted and need to take my meds and head to bed.
November 21st dear diary it has been a crazy busy last 10 days and we are getting ready to leave for Merroway cove for the annual day of thanks feast its being held there this year with a special way for Oona's mom and sister to be there. We will be gone until the 30th so I will write then.
November 30th dear diary its hard to believe that in just 1 month this year will be over. I had so much fun at the day of thanks feast I met several new people, and it was such an amazing trip the baby twins are able to transform so that's very cool. Well, I need to sign off mom wants me to feed the rabbits and the other pets before dinner.
December 3rd dear diary we spent today getting the castle and cottages ready to decorate. This is a huge job and takes everyone's help and skills Doc Elsie Donnie Emily and Elizabeth have been making decorations, I have been helping in the kitchen with lots of special holiday treats. I have also been busy with work and studying for the next part of the gold midwife pin its called the gold star. This is the last rank before we can rank up as adults so its very important that we do well. Signing off mom wants me to go Christmas shopping with her as she needs ideas for what I might want.
December 13th dear diary it's been a busy 10 days as I have worked everyday since the 5th as Dorrie is out of Commission for the rest of the year she has a badly broken wrist from crashing on some black ice. She will be ok, but the break required surgery. I am staying over at their castle until the 24th as I need to be near the clinic as we have a bakers dozen moms due. Signing off we just got called to the birthing center and it may be late when I return.
December 24th dear diary we spent today relaxing in our last year's Christmas pajamas and had fun just relaxing as a family of 10. We opened secret Santa gifts I bought Gwen several board books some clothes and knitted her a blankie. She got Elsie lots of horse stuff and a picture album, Elsie bought Emily several books and a few art supplies, Emily got Georgia clothes board books and with my help made her a blankie, Georgia got me some clothes books make up and lots of sewing stuff. Mom with help from Manny made a desk for Auntie Beth as she will be a teacher this spring, Auntie Beth with help from me got mom clothes books and as we call bath stuff smelly stuff. Dad got Eliot who is an official cook his chef's whites and had me make him some aprons, he got dad several suits and some books and music. we all received new church clothes and Christmas pajamas I need to sign off its late and we just returned from midnight mass.
December 25th dear diary we spent today relaxing and opening our gifts, I received several new outfits craft stuff and my big gift is my own sewing and craft room, Elsie received horse related items clothes and her big item is a custom saddle and bridle. Emily received several books clothes hair stuff her big item her own mini Library in the kids wing, Elizabeth received lots of cooking and baking items clothes hair stuff her big item a small cake decorating area in the auxiliary kitchen she is becoming an amazing decorator.
December 31st dear diary we have spent the last few days just relaxing and hanging out as a family we celebrated the end of the year by having appetizers and sparkling apple or grape juice for a toast signing off its just after midnight so happy new year diary.
