Chapter 15
Iz's POV,
Waking up wrapped in Jax's arms is the most amazing feeling in the world, I never knew I could feel so content with my life. I knew Jax was still sleeping because it wasn't quite morning yet as it was still slightly dark outside so I stayed as still as I could trying not to disturb him. Being in Nevada a few days ago went better then I thought it would especially when Jax asked me if I was ok and wouldn't take I'm fine as an answer, then the understanding he showed me when I told him what was wrong was something I was not used too. Whenever I used to talk to Edward about how I feel he would always make it seem like it didn't matter like my feelings didn't matter it got to the point where I stopped talking to Edward about shit, thinking on it now I don't think Edward even truly got to know the real me. Getting Jax's bike tattooed on me wasn't just for him it was for me to show not just my loyalty to the club but to him as well.
The past day or so has been hectic as hell, Jax and dad would let me do much after I got shoot and once Mama G found out neither would she, but she did ask me to help out with her taste of Charming fundraiser thing, which of course I said yes to. What a crazy day that was, Jax went to the hospital to see Abel and told us there was a guy outside Abel's room which creeped us all out then the club had to vote on some guy called Kyle who I later found out betrayed the club and is the reason Opie went to prison.
Jax got a little pissed at Kyle made sure he was aware to keep away from Op, and then punched Kyle to hit home that the dude had to stay away from me also. Otto who I was told is Luann's old man and doing life in prison for the club asked a favour of the club and that brought crazy Chucky who couldn't leave his dick alone it was safe to say once I saw that I stayed away from him. While at the taste of Charming Jax found out that the dude outside Abel's room was in fact an A.T.F Agent looking into the club. The day turned even more to shit when the guys saw Kyle still had his tat which is a bit fat no, no! Jax explained it to me, when you get banished from the club or you're an ex- old lady you have to remove the tat by blacking it out.
Now that they've seen he still has his tat its down to the club to make sure its gone, but Kyle gets the choice of fire or knife, once again when Jax was finished he looked like he was waiting for me to run or some shit, but I simply wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him letting him know I was ok with what he just told me we also saw Tara at the taste of Charming she once again tried getting Jax to talk to her but Jax just walked away from her didn't even give her the time of day. And that now brings us to today, and once again waking up wrapped in Jax's arms my shoulder still real tender from getting shot and my tat was healing nicely.
I moved slightly to get comfortable when pain flared in my shoulder reminding me that I did in fact get shot yesterday. I jerked and gasped which alerted Jax to me being awake, he woke up and instantly sat up cupping my cheek.
"You ok baby?"
"Hmm, sorry Jax didn't mean to wake you I moved, and the pain flared up in my shoulder."
He shook his head,
"Don't be sorry baby, I'm sure there's some pain killers around I'll find you some wait here."
"No Jax its ok you don't have to worry."
He leaned down and placed his lips against mine kissing me softly then pulling away with the hand that was still cupping my cheek he ran his thumb along my lips.
"Baby you got shot you're not ok, and I will worry its my job to worry about you so wait here and let me get you some pain killers ok?"
"Ok"
With that his stood up, grabbed his sweats threw them on and walked out the door. I tried sitting up a little but found that I couldn't quite manage it as it was my right shoulder that got shot which is my dominate hand Jax came in about five minutes later with a bottle of pills and a bottle of water when he saw me holding my shoulder and grimacing in pain he rushed over sitting on the bed next to me and put the bottles on the side table.
"You ok?"
"Yeah I was just trying to sit up."
He offered me his hand which I grabbed with my left hand and his other hand went to my hip to help me sit up once he got me comfortable he past me the bottle of water and opened the pill bottle shaking out two pills handing them to me I took them straight away once I had finished he took the bottle off me and put it back on the side table.
"They should kick in soon baby. I'm so sorry you got hurt baby girl".
I looked at him and saw the upset in his eyes, the pain of me getting hurt and the guilt that he was blaming himself. So put my left hand on his cheek pulling his face towards me our foreheads meeting,
"Jax babe this was not your fault ok? You made sure we got back to the clubhouse safe, then you made sure I got to cover safely this was an accident ok? I don't blame you neither should you."
I kept eye contact, so he knew I was being honest with him, I didn't want him blaming himself because it wasn't his fault this is just one of those things. I knew he was scared that things like this would make me leave him but that was never going to happen the only thing that would make me leave him was if he cheated on me and it wouldn't matter if it were with a Croweater, his bitch ex Tara, and some random whore if he ever cheated it would be a deal breaker for me I couldn't ever forgive that.
He reached up and cupped my face with both hands,
"How did I get so lucky?"
"Jax I love you, unconditionally that means something like this is not going to scare me away. I am not going to leave you over this, and I certainly am not blaming you."
He kissed my lips, and this wasn't just any kiss oh no this was a kiss full of passion and love and I knew he would eventually realise that I was his and he was mine and I wasn't leaving him. He pulled away and placed his forehead back against mine both of us closing our eyes and just enjoying the moment. He pulled away slowly and moved to sit against the headboard pulling me against him and wrapping his arms around my waist. I was just about to speak when there was a knock at the door, Jax answered with a muttered shit then called out to whoever it was,
"Yeah?"
The door opened to Piney he smiled at me then looked to Jax,
"Sorry to disturb you both so early in the morning, I've got a buyer for some of those Ak's."
"Alright be out in ten."
He nodded his head then closed the door sighing softly nuzzling his face into my neck and hair.
"Shit baby I wish I could just spend the day wrapped around you in this bed."
"I know babe, we will soon but you got shit to do and the sooner you do it the quicker you can come back to this bed with me."
"Hmm, you have a point baby."
He placed a kiss on my neck then climbed out of bed picking his jeans up off the floor and grabbing a clean shirt from the draw. He got dressed put his Kutte on walked back over to me and kissed me softly,
"If you leave the clubhouse baby just drop me a text ok?"
"You got it babe."
With that he walked to the door opened and stepped out just before closing the door he looked back in and smiled at me,
"I love you baby."
"I love you Jax."
With that his closed the door, I wasn't really in the mood to get up and get dressed just yet so I slowly slide myself down the bed so I was laying down again and just closed my eyes, the pain killers had got to work, and I couldn't feel my shoulder anymore which was nice. I knew my tat would need cleaning, so I didn't stay in bed much longer, I climbed out of bed and made my way to the bathroom stripping as I went. I turned the shower on and got in cleaning the tat and making sure my stitches were ok and keeping the area clean. I got out and grabbed the towel wrapping it around me, I walked over to the sink and brushed my teeth then walked out of the bathroom.
I grabbed my body cream and started with my legs working up to my arms, once that was done I just sat for a moment wondering what I should do today. It didn't take me long to decide, I grabbed my cell and scrolled to Mama G's number pressing call straight away.
"Hey darlin."
"Hey Mama G, need any help in the office today?"
"Sure, darlin can always use some help, I'll meet you in an hour, but you can make your way there when you're ready."
"You got it Mama G."
With that we both hung up, I walked over to the draw that Jax deemed as mine and got looking for some clothes. I grabbed a black pair of short shorts with a SamCro top I took from Jax and cut up so it was a belly top, I wanted to wear something that would show off my tat. I grabbed some nice red lace underwear and got dressed, I added a little make up just some mascara and lip gloss then found my ankle boots with the gold zips I also grabbed Jax's sun glasses he said I could wear. I ran a brush through my hair but didn't do anything else with it as I wanted it to dry naturally so it would have natural curls in it. I walked back over to grab my cell and the dorm key; I made my way out of the dorm locking the door once it closed.
I walked into the main part of the clubhouse and saw Sack with blue rubber clothes on cleaning behind the bar,
"Morning Sack."
He jumped then spun around which had me laughing at his expression,
"Morning Iz, you want anything?"
"Nah I'm good thanks."
With that I walked out the clubhouse door and into the Californian heat I stood for a moment with my face pointed to the sky just enjoying the heat when I heard my name being called I opened my eyes and looked over at the garage seeing my dad coming out walking towards me.
"Morning princess, hows the shoulder?"
He stopped in front of me opening his arms which had me walking straight into them and wrapping mine around his waist he kissed my forehead and placed his cheek on my head.
"Morning daddy, it was painful early this morning but Jax got me some pain killers so I'm all good now."
"Good, what's your plan for today?"
"Oh well I asked Mama G if she needed any help in the office, so I'll be in there for some of the day then maybe I'll stop by the hospital to see Abel."
"If you leave the clubhouse take the prospect with you?"
"Ok dad,"
"Thank you princess."
He kissed my forehead again and pulled away, I saw some of the guys pulling in on their bikes, so I made my way over to the office. I sat down at the desk and got started on some of the paper work, answering the phone as it rang I wasn't in there long when Mama G walked in she kissed my forehead and I stood up so she could sit down, and I sat on the couch.
"Morning darlin, is that a tat I see?"
"Morning Mama, it is I had it done yesterday in Nevada Happy did it for me. Its to represent my loyalty to the club and Jax."
"It looks good on you."
"Thanks"
Before we could say anything else Dad walked in, I could see they needed to talk so I walked out of the garage to see Jax stood there waiting. He looked up at me and once he saw what I was wearing and that my tat was on show he smirked,
"Damn baby! Your killing me you know that?"
I smirked at him and walked into his arms, he wrapped his arms around me and kissed me thrusting his tongue in, we were interrupted by dad walking over to us. Jax pulled back smirking at me I shook my head at him and smiled I turned to walk away when he slapped my ass and started walking away with dad. I saw that Gem had closed the office door, so I stood there for a moment when I heard some shit going on with dad, so I turned to look and saw Cherry get out of the van Juice was driving. I noticed dad didn't look to happy, so I walked closer to hear what was going on, I saw Juice dragging her away and it didn't take a genius to figure out what went down. I knew I didn't have any right getting involved in dad and Gem's relationship, but I thought they would have the same rule as me and Jax.
I shook that thought away and made my way into the clubhouse going behind the bar to get a bottle of water, I walked over to one of the couches and sat down having a drink. I took out my cell and sent a text to Donna to see how she was, when the clubhouse door opened, and dad walked in with Jax and some of the others. Bobby was the first to see me who whistled at me which caught the others attention, they all looked over to me when Bobby walked over and grabbed my hand pulling me up off the couch he stood next to me still holding my hand,
"Nice tat there sweetheart."
That caught the others attention too and they all looked to see where he was pointing, I saw dad frown and look at me which had me raising my eyebrow,
"How did I miss that this morning?"
That made me giggle,
"I think you were more worried about my shoulder."
"It looks good princess."
"Thanks dad."
Jax walked over to me and kissed my lips smiling at me,
"You ok baby?"
"Yeah I'm good Jax,"
He kissed me again, then slapped my ass again smirking which had the others laughing at him. Bobby kissed my forehead and walked over to the pool table where the others were stood all putting their cells on the table and walking into the room Jax kissed me once more then walked away.
"Won't be long baby."
"Go do what you need to babe, I'm good here I love you."
His smirk turned into a full smile,
"I love you baby."
With that he walked into the room and closed the doors, I sat back down when my cell dinged with a text. I grabbed it from the couch and saw that Donna had messaged me back.
Hey Bella, I'm good thanks hows you?
I'm good Don, in fact I couldn't be better. You fancy getting together sometime this week for lunch? My treat.
That would be brilliant just what I need.

Before I could read her reply Sack came rushing over to the doors and opening them
"Clay? You better get out here!"
That had me standing up, they all walked out of the room and headed out the door with me following. Jax saw me and grabbed my hand, holding tight we saw some posh cars and Deputy Hale stood outside, dad spoke up.
"Your either feds or limo drivers."
The woman showed her badge,
"Agent Stahl A.T.F. I'm looking for the owner of Teller-Morrow Automotive?"
"That's me."
I saw Hale grab his cuffs, "Come on. Let's go Clay."
"You gonna bother mentioning a charge?"
"No charges yet, I just need to discuss your relationship with a Nate Meineke?"
I felt Jax's hand tighten in mine, so I tightened my hand back.
"Who?"
"Nate Meineke? He's one of the men who held up a prison transport vehicle this morning killed three people with Ak-47s, we found Mr Meineke's cell phone at the scene last call he received was from your garage."
I saw Jax look at Piney, but I kept my eyes on my dad, I had a feeling this was something to do with Pineys deal this morning and if I were right I knew Jax would be feeling guilty about this.
"Preference?"
"Lady's choice."
"Oh! Tattoos and chivalry. Delicious combination."
As dad was getting into the car he looked at me, I knew that look was just reminding me of what I said this morning about not leaving with the prospect, so I just gave a slight nod once in answer he then looked at Jax who nodded once, he let go of my hand and wrapped his arm around my waist pulling me close to him. Jax and Piney looked at each other again and shook their heads, I just wrapped my arm around Jax and leant my head against his shoulder. Once the car was gone Jax looked at me,
"Baby I'm gonna sort this I promise."
I looked up at him and placed a kiss to his jaw,
"Jax I'm not worried, I know you're get it sorted."
He smiled at me then kissed me holding me close for a moment, when he pulled away I could see the fear that was in his eyes was gone so I smiled at him. I went to pull away from him, but he just wrapped his arm around my waist and shook his head,
"Its gonna be a busy day baby, but right now I want you close to me."
"Are you sure Jax?"
"I'm sure Darlin, I'm gonna be in and out a lot today so while I'm here I'm gonna make damn sure your in my arms for as long as I can hold you."
"Ok babe."
Well, who was I to argue with that? He kept his arm around me and walked us over to the unloading bay we stood there while Piney got the tail of the truck lowered and was talking to Jax with Opie stood next to Jax.
"I was in the garage waiting for you, I just called Nate to confirm the meet. I never thought anything like this would happen."
"You had no idea what they were up to, pop."
"I don't get off that easy though, I let friendship interfere with business I know better."
"Gotta reach out to them, Piney we need to find these guys before the feds do."
"Nate would not rat on me!"
"No, but his dipshit kid sure as hell would."
"Its just a matter of time before the feds, connect you to Nate and come after you too."
I could sense Piney was getting upset which I could understand I mean these guys did kind of betray his trust. You cant use hot weapons killing a cop I mean that shits gonna come back to bite you in the ass.
"You know, Opie, I don't give a shit. Hows that?"
I could also feel Jax was losing his patience with Piney, I mean it wasn't the smartest idea calling these guys from the garage phone even I know that.
"Yeah, well I do." He looked to Opie and nodded, "Take him to the cabin!"
That just seemed to piss Piney off more,
"Oh, so you're calling the shots now, huh?"
"Till Clay gets out, V.P patch means this shit lands on my back!"
"Yeah, the backs of children"
With that Piney walked away, Jax turned to Op who looked just as frustrated,
"His just pissed at himself."
They walked to the side of the truck with Jax pulling me along,
"Well, the old dude saved his ass in KHE SANH, but the rest of that crew- killing cops and innocents?"
"We'll find them!"
With that Opie walked away, and Bobby made his way over.
"Hey, you call Trammel?"
"Trammel called us, looking for Clay."
"A'ight, good."
They turned to look at the fed cars outside the gates,
"No way we're getting those guns to Laroy with the feds there."
We all looked, I knew today was going to be one hell of a stressful day for the guys Jax even more so. He slapped Bobby on the shoulder, and we walked away from the truck, Jax pulled me to a stop just outside the garage doors he stepped in front of me and cupped my face.
"You still ok baby?"
I smiled softly at him and placed my hands over his on my cheeks,
"I'm good I promise, how are you doing?"
"Ah, don't worry about me baby,
I took one of my hands off his and covered his mouth shaking my head.
"No, don't do that shit with me. I know your not ok and I understand why but I also know you cant place the blame on yourself Jax shit happens and it just so happens a big pile of shit is happening now but it's not your fault!"
He looked into my eyes, he removed one hand from my face grabbing my hand that was covering his mouth taking it into his own he kissed my knuckles and then placed my hand on his heart.
"I still don't understand how I got so lucky."
"Its not about luck Jax, its about finding that one person who loves you for all you are!"
"I can't wait for this day to be over so I can get you back into bed."
"Hmm me either babe, but until then you need to go meet Trammel and drop me off at the hospital."
"You going to see the kid?"
"Sure, am babe."
"Good, Ma should be around to bring you back when you're ready."
"Jax don't worry about me you got enough shit to worry about today."
"I'll worry about you regardless Darlin. But let's go baby."
We walked over to his bike him handing me his helmet, I put it on while he got on the bike he then helped me on behind him, I wrapped my arms around his waist, and we were off. Once outside the hospital I got off the bike and handed him his helmet he grabbed my hips and pulled me close kissing me softly.
"I love you baby."
"I love you Jax, go do what needs to be done."
I kissed him again and walked into the hospital, I went straight to Abel's room but stopped when I noticed the A.T.F Agent in Abel's room, before I could walk in and ask what he was doing I saw Tara go to walk past the room and noticed him in there, so she walked into the room. I stood to the corner so I could hear what was being said but not be seen.
"What are you doing in here?"
"Um, I was curious."
"Okay, this incubation chamber is for medical personnel and family only."
He was looking at Abel when he spoke next,
"It still…hurts me."
This confused me but I was slowly starting to understand what the fuck was going on, then I heard something that made me freeze on the spot.
"Be at SamCro in 45 minutes if you want to see his future-and yours to maybe!"
What the fuck? This bitch has no future with SamCro! But now I understood what brought the fed to Charming to begin with and I also saw why Tara was so set on trying to get back with Jax it was all a damn ruse to her she doesn't love him she just wants him for protection from the fed. Once the dick was out of the room I stormed in,
"Now I get it!"
Tara jumped then looked at me, she still had a nice shiner from when I punched her.
"Get what?"
"Why the feds here and why you came back! It wasn't to sort you're dads shit you want to use Jax, I got news for you sweetheart its not going to happen you can sort your own damn problems out, oh and rest assured I will be telling Jax about this shit two more things, stay the fuck away from SamCro and get the fuck out of this room."
With that I walked out of the room, storming through the hospital to get outside. I don't remember a time in my life when I've been so damn angry at someone, I still had plenty of time to get to the garage before the feds, so I start walking slightly jogging at the same time. I get to main street and see Gem coming out of the Pharmacy, I walked over to her and tapped her shoulder.
"Hey Mama G you ok?"
She looked at me and I knew she wasn't,
"Yeah Darlin nothing to worry about."
"Gem, I know what my dad did I saw it this morning with his reaction to the sweet butt! I'm sorry for what it's worth."
"You got nothing to be sorry about Darlin but thank you."
We start walking when we both see Cherry walking towards us, I'm not sure what happened one-minute Gem was stood next to me the next she had a skateboard in her hand and Cherry was on the floor.
"Mama G!"
I heard people gasp behind me and Cherry crying, but I stood with Gem and kept focus on her, I knew my dad had hurt her with what he did but Cherry's not the one that should of got hit dad is. Gem looked at me,
"You need to go back to the clubhouse Darlin the cops will be here soon, and I don't want you here when they are."
"Ok Mama G."
She kissed my forehead then sat down on the sidewalk, I looked at my cell and noticed I still had about half hour to get to the clubhouse so I booked it as fast as any woman can go on 9 inch heals anyway. I got to the gates and noticed the garage doors were down, so I knew the guys were behind them. As I was walking I saw Jax opening one of the rolling doors, so I just walked towards him,
"Jax!"
He turned to look at me and when he saw my face he came straight to me with Bobby and Chibs,
"What's wrong baby?"
"Don't have long to explain so short version, that A.T.F Agent was in Abel's room when I got there, his here because of Tara, you've got about 25 minutes before the feds get here to raid this place and you're Ma's been cuffed for assault."
"Shit!"
He looked at me for a moment then looked at the guys, he nodded to Bobby and Chibs and they walked away that's when I saw the guns, Jax grabbed my hips pulling me close and nuzzling my neck where he started speaking softly.
"Guns will be gone soon baby, don't worry about them. Were talk about the Agent in Abel's room later cause that shit don't fly with me and as for Tara well she can dig herself out of her own shit she ain't my problem anymore. This is where I would normally say you need to leave but we don't have time so I'm just gonna say I'm sorry baby."
I knew he was apologising for the feds but even if we weren't together I would still be here and involved because of dad, I made sure to speak in his ear while he was still nuzzling my neck.
"Babe it's ok, nothing to be sorry for. I'm not leaving your side."
To make my point I kissed his neck then licked a line leading to his jaw where I nibbled his jaw then kissed his neck again we were brought out of our moment by Chibs slapping Jax on the back. Jax pulled away from me and looked at Chibs,
"It's done Jackie boy."
"Good, feds will be here soon. That's why Iz rushed in."
"Well let's give them a welcome party shall we?"
"Yeah lets."
Jax grabbed my hand and pulled me over to the benches, he sat on the table and had his feet on the bench pulling me to sit between his legs with his arms around my chest, the guys joined us with beer's in their hands and Jax was eating an apple which he gave me a bite of, we weren't sat there long when the feds pulled in.
"Federal Agents!"
We were stormed, they pulled me up by my arms and pushed me to the floor roughly my shoulder screaming in protest which made me gasp in pain and that had all the guys looking at me and the Agent that was pushing me down. Jax and Chibs being the loudest,
"Let her the fuck go asshole!"
"Leave the lass alone."
I got down next to Jax who looked at me to make sure I was ok, which I nodded my head to. It felt like hours when it reality it was only about half hour when Jax was helping me up and the feds were leaving. He pulled me close and waved Chibs over,
"Chibs check her shoulder quick brother."
"Let uncle Chibby see the shoulder Darlin."
I turned in Jax's arms, so my back was to is chest and let Chibs look at my shoulder he took the gauze off and I noticed some blood on it,
"Ah shit, prick tore her stitches Jackie boy."
"Can you re-stitch?"
"If the Lass is ok with me doing it yeah, won't take me long."
They both looked at me,
"Yeah brother bear its fine."
"Right take a sit then and let me get the stuff."
Jax pulled me back to the bench where he once again sat on the table pulling me to sit between his legs on the bench, Chibs was back within minutes he knelt in front of me and I turned my head into Jax's leg I'm not squeamish but any means, but my shoulder was hurting like a bitch now, so I put my face into his leg and took a breath nodding for Chibs to go ahead, I felt Jax put his hand on the back of my head and stroke my hair.
"Almost done baby."
It didn't take long for Chibs to stitch me back up thank god, once he was done he handed me some pain killers which had me raising my eyebrow,
"You couldn't of gave me these before sticking me with a needle over and over?"
This had them all laughing,
"Nah, Darlin but your all done now so be a good girl and take your meds."
I shook my head and took the pain pills,
"Thanks brother bear."
I leant forward and kissed his cheek, he smiled at me and stood up. I wasn't quite comfortable, so I stood up put my hand on Jax's knee to steady myself and climbed up onto the bench to sit on the table with Jax in between his legs, his arms wrapping around me instantly. This is where I felt safest and more at home than I've ever felt anywhere.
Jax's POV,
Iz sat on the table in front of me with my arms going around her instantly, I knew she was in a bit of pain from her shoulder, but I was wondering if maybe she was a bit freaked out from the feds visit. I still had some shit that I needed to do but I decided I was taking her with me, I wasn't leaving her here with no protection and Ma in lock up.
"We still got shit that needs doing, lets go guys Iz baby?"
I waited for her to look at me,
"Your coming to the cabin with us, I'm not leaving you here alone so let's go."
She didn't even argue she stood up and waited for me, once I stood up I grabbed her hand and pulled her over to my bike handing her my helmet me getting on the bike while she put it on. Once I knew she was on and had her arms around me we were off, it didn't take us long to get there so I helped her off and took off the helmet placing it on the handle bars. I grabbed her hand and pulled her along with me walking into the cabin.
Piney was sat in the chair with Opie sat on the couch, Piney spoke up as soon as we walked in.
"Yo, Nate called. He wants to make a deal on the rest of those Aks."
Of course, he does the asshole, its his fault we're in this damn jam to begin with,
"Russell knows nobody'll touch em. Ten grand for all 36."
"Shit! Those guns are worth 10 times that."
I knew Bobby had a point but right now we don't have much of a choice, the guns were hot, and they needed to go like yesterday! This is our only option at this point,
"A'ight, set it up, me and Ope will make the run."
"No, you can't go without me, they won't trust you."
Jesus this old man was pushing my last nerve today! He walked away so I followed behind a bit,
"You're ok tying up this loose end?"
"You know, you don't have to ask me that."
"A'ight!"
With that he walked away, I pulled Iz over to the chair and sat down pulling her into my lap. I have to say it cause it needs to be said but she surprised me today she handled the feds brilliantly and shes still stood at my side holding my hand no sign of disgust on her face what so ever. I put my hand on her chin and turned her face towards me I placed a kiss on her lips and smiled at her.
"You doing ok baby?"
"I'm doing good Jax babe."
"Hows the shoulder?"
"Numb thanks to Chibs and those Pain killers, they were stronger than what you gave me this morning that's for damn sure."
"Baby are you a bit high on those drugs?"
She giggled at that and nodded her head,
"Uh huh"
This had all of us chuckling at her, as long as she wasn't feeling any pain I didn't give a shit if she was high as a damn kite. I just kissed her lips again and snuggled into her neck waiting for Clay to come it shouldn't be to long now they should of let him go by now.
I tapped Iz's hip for her to stand up, once she was up I stood up.
"We got work to do baby, why don't you make yourself comfortable on the couch."
I kissed her lips and walked over to the guys stood at the table, they were assembling the guns. The radio was on for some country station for a bit of background noise and we got stuck in. it wasn't long before Chibs was tapping my shoulder and nodding towards Iz, so I turned to look and saw that she had fallen asleep which had me smiling, I walked over to her and softly laid her down, so I didn't disturb her and took the throw blanket off the back of the couch and placed it on her, so she didn't get cold I kissed her forehead then went back to work with the guys.
Another half hour had past when the door opened and Chibs started laughing,
"Welcome back."
We turned to see Clay walking in looking tired, he came over and grabbed my hand hugging me and slapping my back,
"Welcome back, bro."
"Welcome home."
"Look who's here!"
He sat down on the chair and I leant against the other chair,
"Well, the feds trashed the clubhouse, but the search turned up nothing we got the guns out."
"Oh, wait a minute. Jackie boy got all the guns out!"
Clay smiled at me and I nodded back with a smile,
"Good."
"A.T. F's got shit, it's all smoke. Yeah, they were onto the oil barrels."
"Yeah, well, we'll just have to find a smarter way to get the guns in is all. By the time the warehouse is rebuilt
I walked out to grab some beers, but I could still hear what was being said, I walked back in handing Clay a beer,
"We'll be a distant memory for the A.T and F.."
Before we could say anything more Iz groaned out in her sleep then whimpered while turning over, that had us all turning to look at her making sure she was ok. I knew her shoulder was probably hurting like a mother fucker right now because of that Agent prick!
I looked at Clay who was looking at me,
"What's Iz doing here? She should be back at the clubhouse asleep!"
"Yeah prick Agent got rough with her caused her stitches to pop, Chibs had to re-stitch then he gave her some strong ass pain killers, but I wasn't comfortable leaving her alone at the clubhouse after the day shes had."
"What do you mean? What's happened?"
"I don't know everything just yet cause we didn't have a lot of time to talk, but after you got taken in I kept her with me until I had to meet Trammel where I then dropped her off at the hospital to see the kid. Well, I'm at the garage getting shit done when she comes speeding in calling my name telling my the A.T.F Agent was in Abel's room, something to do with Tara and that he warned Tara the raid was happening then she tells me about Ma because she saw it happen and I think she knows why it happened but I'm not sure, so I brought her here because as I said wasn't leaving her alone."
"Good!"
I knew once he found out he wouldn't want her left alone either, its been one hell of a day and not just for me but for Iz too and what makes it worse for her is shes in pain with her shoulder.
"Ma home?"
"She wouldn't let me post bail."
This had the guys laughing, yeah I had a feeling Ma was going to do that, as pissed as I was about it all I couldn't say anything because unlike me and Iz Ma and Clay have the run rule. No doubt it has pissed Iz off though, don't think she expected that from her dad, but we shall see tomorrow.
"Shit! She is pissed!"
"Yeah, that she is."
"Well, we're handling Meineke and his crew Piney set up a meet for tomorrow. We're gonna clean this up."
"You know what? I'm tired, and my head hurts. And your handle it."
With that he got up and started walking away towards the hall
"I'm just gonna crash here tonight."
"Talk in the daylight."
"In the daylight."
We all looked at each other not saying a word, I knew Clay was tired being in an integration room all day isn't fun, but we did all the hard work,
"Right lets get this shit finished."
Time skip don't normally do this but don't really want to write about the all-nighter pulled to sort the guns out lol.
One long night and all the guns sorted and ready, just in time for Iz waking up I heard her groan softly, so I made my way over to the couch and got on my knees cupping her cheek.
"Hey baby."
Her eyes fluttered then opened with her smiling at me,
"Morning babe."
I leant down and kissed her lips,
"Morning baby sleep well?"
"Hmm I did, but I'm guessing you didn't get any sleep?"
"Nah baby too much had to be done."
"So, what's the plan for today?"
"Well, me, Piney and Ope got a met set up so you can stay here, and I'll pick you up on the way back ok? Then I've got to meet Trammel once that's done we can head to the hospital and see the kid."
"You sure Piney won't mind me staying here?"
"Nah baby he won't mind it was his idea."
"Ok, babe sounds good. When you leaving?"
"Was just waiting for you to wake up baby, didn't want to leave without telling you."
"I love you Jax!"
I would never get tired of hearing those words from her, I smiled at her.
"I love you baby; I'll be back in about an hour ok?"
"Yeah babe got do busy I'm good."
I kissed her again and stood up heading out to my bike where Piney and Ope were waiting.
Iz's POV, (Because I didn't want to write about the two meets lol)
Jax just left me at the Piney's cabin which I was actually ok with because it was quiet and there was no one here to ask if I was ok. I am ok I'm just getting pissed with people asking, but at the same time it is nice Charlie never used to ask me if I was ok and neither did Renee, so this was nice. I looked around the room I was in and saw a radio, so I walked over and turned it on, I wasn't about to snoop in Piney cabin but needed some background noise. I sat back on the couch and just closed my eyes listening to the music, I didn't realise how much time had passed when I heard the door open. I opened my eyes and saw Jax standing there smiling at me,
"You ready baby?"
"Yeah let me just turn off the radio,"
I walked over to the radio and turned it off going back over to Jax who had his hand out towards me, me grabbing it without hesitation. We walked outside and got on the bike Jax handing me his helmet, I put it on and wrapped my arms around his waist, once I was situated and holding tight enough we were off. We got to a bit of land and Jax pulled over,
"Stay here baby, I'll be back in a few minutes."
I got off the bike and Jax rode off, I could still see him, he pulled up alongside a cop car, so I know why he asked me to get off the bike. The meet didn't take long about ten minutes then Jax was back holding his hand out to me,
"Lets go see the kid baby."
I grabbed his hand and he helped me on the bike once he felt my arms around him we were off, unfortunately it didn't take us long to get to the hospital, I love seeing Abel don't get me wrong just wish I could spend more time with Jax on his bike. He pulled up and parked he then held his hand out to me to help me off the bike, once off I took off his helmet and handed it to him where he put it on the handle bars. He grabbed my hand and pulled me alongside him,
"I missed you last night you know?"
That had Jax looking at me, he raised his eyebrow and smirked.
"I was with you baby I didn't leave the cabin."
"I know but I missed your arms around me, and I missed waking up laying on you."
This had him smirking even bigger, he stopped walking to press the elevator button but pulled me close to him by my hips he bent towards me and kissed me softly smiling into the kiss. We pulled apart when we heard the elevator ding its arrival he pulled me in with him and pressed the floor button once the doors were close he pushed me again the side of the elevator and crashed his lips with mine one hand going to my hip pulling me close the other fisting in my hair.
I would never tire of kissing Jax, every kiss was different and, but they were all full of passion and love. Once again we pulled apart once the we heard the ding to signal our arrival to the floor he pulled away from me smirking at me,
"Wait till I get you home baby, you're not going to be able to walk for a week!"
"Promise?"
"Oh, baby I swear it!"
He grabbed my hand and we walked out of the elevator where we were unfortunately stopped by the wicked witch of Charming Tara! She came towards us immediately setting her sites on Jax and ignoring the fact I was stood there, Jax took a step back from her, while she started speaking.
"Hey, you ok?"
He looked at her, then looked at me then looked at her again,
"Yeah, why?"
"I was going past the clubhouse yesterday and saw the cops."
Lying bitch, you knew they were going to be there! Oh, you wait till I tell Jax you tramp!
"Its fine Tara, and even if it wasn't it wouldn't be anything of your business."
With that we went to leave when Tara grabbed his arm,
"Wait Jax please?"
He jerked his arm away from her stepping back and pulling me in front of him wrapping his arms around my waist.
"What the fuck Tara! There's nothing else to say we're done! I'm with Iz"
"I was just wondering if you could give me a lift home?"
She said it so calmly like it was an everyday thing she asked him, is this bitch for real? How many times does she have to be told?
"No Tara, not only do I have Iz with me, but I told you, you would never be on the back of my bike again! Let me make this perfectly clear to you, we are done! Its over stop talking to me, stop everything!"
With that he stepped back from me grabbed my hand and pulled me to Abel's room. Once inside he closed the door, he sat on the chair and pulled me into his lap wrapping his arms around me and nuzzling his face into my neck.
"We need to talk Jax."
"Is everything ok baby?"
"Yeah babe we're good I promise you, but we need to speak about yesterday. What I heard between Tara and that A.T.F Agent."
"Ok Darlin I'm listening,"
"Ok, so some of what I'm going to say is what I pierced together from the conversation I heard. When I got here he was in Abel's room just starting at Abel, I was about to make my way in when I saw Tara go in, so I hide round the corner out of sight but in ear shot. Obviously, Tara asked what he was doing in the room and all he said was it still hurts, then he told her about the raid that was gonna go down at the clubhouse. He said she should see Abel's future and hers fuck knows why he said that the bitch ain't getting you, your mine."
I felt him laugh at that and pull me closer to him,
"Damn right I'm yours baby and your mine."
"From that and the way they looked at each other, I gathered they had a relationship in Chicago his the reason she moved back here and why she keeps trying to get you back. She wants to use you for either protection or to get rid of this Agent dude, the reason you got on A.T. F's radar again is because Tara came home and tried to get back with you. She obviously didn't take into account that you would be with anyone."
I let that sink in for him, I didn't want to upset him by saying it, but I also didn't want to keep any secrets from him at all especially with how honest his been with. I felt him kiss my neck softly and pull me even closer,
"Well, it all makes perfect sense now shit! Fucking bitch! I so glad I met you baby because I'm afraid if you weren't here I would of fallen for her trap and be in deep shit right now. she doesn't stand a chance with me I'm with you ain't nothing or no one that can change that! We're made for each other"
I turned my head so I could look into his eyes and kissed him softly.
"Lets go home Jax, its been a long couple of days."
"let's go baby."
I stood up and held out my hand for him to take he grabbed it and I pulled him up we walked over to Abel's incubator placing our joined hands on the top,
"See you soon little man."
"Daddy loves you Abel."
We walked out of the room hand in hand and continued our way out of the hospital once outside I took a deep breath and looked around noticing a silver car parked just down the street it looked like it had someone in it, but I didn't think anything of it. Jax handed me his helmet and I put it on while he got on the bike holding his hand out to help me on, I got on and wrapped my arms around his waist holding tight. I felt him place his hand on mine squeezing then off we went. I turned my head to the side and placed it on Jax's back, out of the corner of my eye I saw the same silver car following us, I carefully without being seen slide my hand round to fish my cell out of my pocket I turned on the camera and took some snaps and then turned the video on. I moved closer to Jax and moved my head so I could talk into his ear,
"We're being tailed."
He placed his hand on the one hand still around his waist and tapped three times in response to what I said. I kept videoing until we got to the clubhouse. Once Jax parked the bike I stopped recording and got off the bike taking off the helmet and handing it to him. He got off and took my hand leading me to the clubhouse, once inside he pulled me over to the couch and we sat down.
"Did you see who it was baby?"
"No but I did get a few pics and a video of the car we might be able to zoom in enough to get a pic of who it is."
"I'll get Juice on it but for now lets go to bed baby I know it's early, but I just want to hold you."
I knew what he meant I just wanted his arms around me so we both stood up and made our way to the dorms we got to ours and noticed how trashed it was this wasn't a raid this was personal, and I had a feeling who did it. I looked over to the desk when I noticed they didn't touch my laptop and that I had left it open this had me smirking because I left my camera on record this morning because I have a feeling one of the Croweaters kept coming in the dorm as some of my personal items had gone missing. I hadn't said anything to anyone though as I don't want the culprit to know I know.
"Jesus!"
"Jax this was personal!"
"Yeah baby, I bet we can both guess who it was too."
"Don't need to guess Jax babe, might just have it on camera."
He looked at me with a raised eyebrow,
"You trying to make a porno baby?"
This had me laughing,
"No babe, I think one of the Croweaters is taking my stuff, but I didn't want to say anything just in case I was wrong, so I left my laptop camera on record this morning and luck has it the laptop wasn't touched."
"You know what baby? We're deal with that tomorrow let's just sort some shit so we can at least lay on the bed."
We both moved at the same time and started sorting through the shit on the bed, we cleaned enough so we could go to bed now. we both stripped off and just got into bed in naked Jax immediately pulling me on top of him my legs straddling him and my chest to his chest and my arms sliding under his arms with his arms going around my back once he pulled the blanket over us.
"I love you Jax."
"I love you baby."
We both fell into a much-needed sleep.
An, so here is another update, I hope you enjoy. Now you may notice I changed this around a little, but I made it to fit what I wanted to happen in this chapter. Jax and Iz's love is just as strong if not stronger this chapter, now I did mess up in the beginning as half way through writing this chapter I noticed a I missed the taste of charming episode so added a brief in for that. Chapters from here will start to go different then they did in the show, because I'm going to get rid of Tara and Kohn pretty soon, Clay and Jax's relationship will only grow, Donna I haven't decided yet but if she does die it wont be at Tig's hand, Luann is only a minor character so I'm still unsure what I'm going to do with her. Cherry is here but will she stay? Who knows lol?
