Diary of a special princess August to October age 13 to 14

August 1st dear diary we had so much fun on our month long adventure we saw so many friends. And diary I think I may have a crush on my dance partner, his name is Carter he comes from Farmington, he has strawberry blond hair blue eyes and is about 2 inches taller than me. He was wearing a smart looking white shirt with a green sweater and black pants he also wears sliver oval framed glasses. I found out from prince James that like me carter is on the autism spectrum. He is sort of shy but so am I so who cares.
When I got home from work Elsie needed my help at the first aid office, she had a lot of people waiting. Among them were Elliot who had gotten his thumb caught in the door to the kitchen we sent him for x rays its broken. We also saw dad who had cut his pinky it needed glue and bandages, then auntie Beth came in with a large splinter in her foot that took a while to get out it kept breaking into smaller pieces. Just to be safe we had Dr McStuffins put her on antibiotics as it was in so deep. And in big news auntie Beth has earned her teaching certificate she now teaches kindergarten at the village school. Signing off mom just reminded me it's the last day of summer break and its bedtime.
August 2nd dear diary we started back to school today, and I found out Carter is in most of my Hexly hall classes as he wants to be a pediatrician. He asked me to have lunch with him and I said yes this was a very special thing as he's my first crush. Yes at 13 nearly 14 this is the first time I have liked a boy as more then a good friend. Lilly was there eating with prince James. He told me last week he likes her, and she confided in me that she likes him back. Work went well today, as it was clinic and we saw Kelly who found out last month she is having another set of twins and they are boy girl twins again. She says twins are very prevalent in her family her grandmother on both sides was a twin she has 2 sets of twin aunts and several sets of twin cousins.
When I got home, I helped Elsie as she is starting to get sick with something. So, she wanted to finish early so she can rest we saw a stable hand who had a horse bite her she needed bandaging and antibiotics, we then saw the daughter of the librarian who had sprained her wrist. Signing off Mom just called, and they are taking Elsie through to the hospital she has a very high fever. Later mom called Elsie has a severe case of pneumonia and will be in the hospital for at least a week. Signing off again so I can call Violet and take a few days off to help around here then mom needs me to pack them a bag and have Reuben bring it back to them.
August 12th dear diary Elsie was able to come home the 9th but then Emily and Elizabeth both ended up in the hospital for 3 nights with severe croup. I was diagnosed with bronchitis yesterday so none of us feel very good. I will write when we are doing better Georgia and Gwen are in the hospital with severe croup so I am in charge here again.
August 18th dear diary after 6 days we are almost completely back to normal although we are all on breathing treatments and steroids for several more days. I went back to work today as did Elsie we both are only doing half a shift for the rest of the month so we can get our rest. We saw several expectant mothers including a mom who will be giving custody of her baby girl to auntie Beth and Elliot YES, THEY WERE CHOSEN TO ADOPT A BABY THIS HAS BEEN A SECRET FOR ALMOST 6 MONTHS. SHE IS DUE ANY DAY NOW SO I WILL BE HELPING DELIVER ANOTHER NIECE.
They only told mom and I last month and everyone else found out yesterday. We are decorating a room in their cottage for a nursery, and he will be taking 2 and a half months off to care for her at first. Auntie Beth will be home from the end of October until the first of the year as all schools have an extended fall and winter break this year. Signing off I was just grabbed by mom and auntie Beth. She will be a mommy either very late tonight or very early tomorrow morning. I will write when I know more about what's going on. Very early August 19th auntie Beth became a mommy at exactly 11:55 last night the baby who has been named Silvia Mae after her birth mothers grandma and Elliot's great grandmother, weighs just 6 pounds and is 18 inches long so tiny but tall. She has very fine red hair and according to her birthmother looks like her dad's great grandmother. will be home in just 3 days. Signing off I am exhausted, and we just got home.
August 19th dear diary I didn't mention this last night but baby Oliva like her mommy is half mermaid, and she is also half witch like me. Her dad is a merman and her mom a witch. This is very special and means she fits right into our family. I am signing off I am staying with them for the rest of the month to help I will write the first.
September 1st I returned to school and work today I handed in all the work Elsie had brought home for me as I had permission to be on family leave. After school I went on several home visits with Violet and Candice as Dorrie has a cold and princess Amber is working at the office. When I returned home, I had to help Elsie who was swamped apparently, there are a lot of people hurting themselves lately. Today we saw Dr McStuffins who had a piece of glass in her foot then we saw Gwen and Georgia who had both fallen outside and hurt their arms we sent them through, and they each have a broken collar bone. We also saw a cook with a minor hand burn and several stabled hands who had gotten into poison ivy.
I then helped make dinner and took some to Auntie Beth's before Elsie and I headed to our bible study. When we got home, we packed as we leave after school tomorrow for a trip to see Lily's family who are back for a visit then head to Farmington where Carter's oldest brother is becoming crown prince and his father king as they lost his grandma 2 weeks ago. Signing off I need to study for my midwifes in history test and finish packing. I will write when I get a chance the next few days are going to be hectic.
September 5th dear diary I am officially in love for the first time which is a weird feeling, but I think prince Carter is so adorable and he held my hand on a walk in the garden tonight. I talked to mom about all this, and she said its normal for these feelings to come at my age and she actually met my birth father when she was just shy of 15 so about a year older then me. In other news I became a woman in one sense of the word today I started my period. Mom and I ran for supplies and an emergency chocolate stash which she said I can hide in the sewing room. Signing off we are going to the coronation then to a huge feast I will tty when we get home the 11th.
September 11th dear diary I am proud to announce that I have been Asked to be the godmother of baby Silvia while Elliot's friend Cameron has been selected as godfather. The baby dedication is scheduled for the 13th so the day before my birthday and mom is helping me plan a huge sleepover birthday bash. I helped Elsie out all afternoon as Violet and the Others are away on secret business. We saw several stable hands with poison ivy again and then Doc came in she sprained her knee falling on the steps at Hexly hall. She is now on the off duty list for 3 weeks so she can heal. We then all had dinner with dad's mom and sisters. His mom has recently been diagnosed with a memory thing called Alzheimer's disease. From what Elsie and I understand this is a very bad disease that will eventually kill her.
When we finally arrived home mom had us sit down so she could discuss something with us. She had seen Dr. McStuffins for an issue which needs more testing. The thing is she has found a lump in her breast. She needs a thing called a biopsy as it may be cancer like what grandma had. We will know more the 20th after she sees the surgeon I will write then.
September 20th mom had her surgery today and we will find out the 27th if its cancer. We are all worried about her plus have a lot of work and school obligations coming up so I will write then.
September 27th dear diary we found out today mom does have stage 1 breast cancer. From what Elsie Mom and I have read it's the 2nd best kid of Breast cancer to have as it's very curable. She will have a total Mastectomy on both breast which means they remove them completely. She is having both done as although she only has 1 tumor with our history its safer just to remove them both. Dr McStuffins will be on leave for several months as like mom she has been diagnosed with breast cancer. Kelly found out yesterday that she too has cancer They all have surgery tomorrow then will need special medications called chemo to treat and keep the cancer from coming back. This process will take about a year, but they should both be cured. Signing off mom needs me to help explain this to the older twins.
October 3rd mom Kelly and Dr McStuffins all had surgery yesterday and will start chemo in a week so we spent all day the last few days mega cleaning the castle and the cottage where Doc lives as the moms while on these meds can't risk being around germs. As both mom and Dr. McStuffins have a form of cancer that is something called a gene mutated whatever that means form. They also elected to have some other stuff removed so the risk of cancer is now gone. I am signing off through the 11th as the moms start chemo the 10th.
October 10th today mom Kelly and doctor McStuffins started chemo and I know I said I wasn't writing till tomorrow, but mom asked me to accompany auntie Beth to a doctors visit for some blood work and a special picture of her breasts so that we can find out if she has the same gene thing as mom. If she does mom's doctor has recommended getting preventative surgery to keep from getting cancer. I will need these tests at around age 18 as with mom having it there's a 50% chance Beth and I may have it. I am signing off mom feels horrible and needs my help as Doc's grandmas is over there helping them and Auntie Beth went to bed with a migraine.
October 20th dear diary sorry for not writing mom has been feeling rubbish the baby twins have strep and are staying with Sofia's aunt Tilly as are Donny and Mia McStuffins who also have strep. Crap Elsie just informed me that Emily and Elizabeth both have a fever and sore throat she is having Reuben take them to Tilly's. she Beth Mrs. Garcia and I will deep clean the castle while Mom Dr McStuffins and Kelly stay at My aunts, so they don't risk getting this. I forgot to tell you Kelly's new twins were born 3 weeks ago but were both very sick and went to heaven, which is sad, but it will be ok. Signing off moms getting sick and needs some juice and crackers.
October 25th dear diary we have decided to home school for the remainder of the year as it will be better for everyone and keep germs away from the ladies. Violet and I talked and as I am already a junior midwife, I will only help her once a month or if they are overly busy. Elsie has asked me to help her everyday right now as with Doc's grandma busy she Is trying to do everything on her own so I have said yes and Doc has also volunteered to help when she's not busy.
