November 1st dear diary today Mom Kelly and Doctor McStuffins started losing their hair so us girls have cut our hair very short, and dad and the other men shaved their heads and the ladies. We found out that auntie Beth does carry the gene thing and actually has a small tumor that they discovered she will be having surgery like mom had tomorrow followed next week by chemo. I am staying with them for 2 weeks so that she can recover I will write the 14th.

November 14th dear diary its late and I am helping at the birthing center we have 8 moms in labor. The last few days have been chaotic as dad had to go on business. We have had a steady stream of injured people in the office. With everything from bruises to a badly broken ankle that required surgery and we are down a pastry chef due to that. I have been pulling triple duty as we need our chefs and Elsie needs my help plus, I am in charge of the girls. Mom has asked her childhood best friend Madeline and her mom to come help thank goodness. They get here tomorrow evening. She will take over the girls care her mom will bake and I am back to just helping Elsie.
I will be busy through the 20th as mom has asked Elsie and I to go on a couple of royal visits and to see a few friends of Elsie's family at her cousins wedding the older twins are also coming along for the wedding part but will be brought home the following day.
November 21st dear diary we didn't get home until this morning as we had to make an emergency stop in Satu due to weather and a sick flying horse. We spent last night with the royal family and our friend Oona who was heading our way she will be staying with us the rest of the year. As her mom and sister are visiting various under sea kingdoms and she wants to continue her studies. She has been staying in Satu since September, but dad has offered to host her now. Jade and her cousin Luna also came back with us so they can spend the day of thanks with their friends while their parents attend a royal summit. Signing off I need to unpack then go figure the next couple of weeks schedules out with mom.
November 30th dear diary we have all taken turns having a stomach virus and have been staying at Sofia's aunt Tilly's as needed I got home last night. Tonight, Doc and I handled the aid office as it's Elsie's turn to have the virus. We had several people in with injuries and a few with a rash. When we were done, I packed the trunks as we are going to spend Christmas with my Auntie's family in the mountains. We leave in the morning and will be home the 31st. we are gone for so long because we have 3 weddings to attend. Oona is leaving tonight to spend Christmas with her family and will be back the 1st. signing off to finish packing will write when I can.
December 4th dear diary we arrived at my aunts the other day and have been having so much fun that I haven't had time to write. Mom had Elsie and I make a quick royal visit nearby yesterday and I met a mountain witch, how cool is that. We will be very busy the next couple weeks so I will write whenever I get a chance this has been a very crazy year and will only get crazier over the next 2 weeks. tomorrow we have family photos, then the 7th is an annual chilly feed which all, but mom Beth and the babies will attend. The 9th mom will have chemo along with Auntie Beth. The 11th we are driving a couple hours further north to a wedding. The 24th is Christmas eve and then the 25th we leave again for another wedding this one 6 hours south of where we are. We have the 3rd and final wedding the 30th and then will spend the day of the 31st with my older siblings. We get home late that night, but it will be a fun few weeks. signing off its bedtime.
December 8th dear diary we went to a local tree farm and picked out the best tree they had. We then took it home and decorated it along with the entire house. Elsie and I did have to Patch up my uncle's wrist he fell off a ladder and will need x rays in the morning. He will do this while mom and auntie Beth are at their appointments. For now, we wrapped it and made him ice it and made him a sling. He is resting while the rest of us make cookies and other treats as it's a big tradition to do so every holiday. We made sugar cookie peanut butter cookies with chocolate in the middle and for those who eat nuts my aunt made what she called pecan sandies, we also made gingerbread cookies and the bread kind. We then baked several cupcakes and other sweet treats to have over the next few weeks, we all have a sweet tooth and mom needs to eat what she can.
We have been having so much fun visiting my family and I saw several cousins who I don't see very often and one special person who's visiting is my cousin April. She is one of my favorite people and now that she's royal we see even less of each other. Our schedules are completely opposite. As she is on the more royal track, and I am focusing on science we only see each other once or twice every couple of months. When we got home from church, we all helped make a huge roast dinner with all the trimmings. It was delicious for dessert we had cookies cocoa and all the yummy stuff you can add for custom cocoa, I had caramel cocoa Elsie and April had peppermint cocoa while both sets of twins had theirs plain with marshmallows. We all stayed up late talking so I better head to bed.
December 12th we spent the last couple days busy getting ready for my great Uncle's 2nd wedding. It was an amazing as he and his new wife met when they were teens and both married other people and just over a year ago they met again at a local retirement home where they were staying for a few weeks of therapy after he broke his hip and she broke her shoulder. They fell back in love with each other and yesterday were married at 93 and 94. We got home late this evening and are relaxing as the next several days will be crazy busy.
December 15th dear diary we decided to celebrate Christmas today and leave Christmas eve for the wedding that's 6 hours away as Emily and Elizabeth have been asked to be flower girls and Elsie and I Jr bridesmaids, this wedding is for my mom's childhood best friend who is also my godmother. This is her 2nd marriage and her daughters my childhood best friends Rose and Violet are getting a new dad their dad passed when we were 4 from a long illness. Secret Santa wise I bought Elsie several tools for her office and an official nurse uniform. She bought Emily aka the book worm several new mysteries and a special writing desk ,Emily got Gwen a bunch of books and toys Gwen got Elizabeth aka the little chef several cake decorating tools. Elizabeth got Georgia clothes toys and books, while Georgia got med midwife supplies and clothes. I received a lot of new clothes as I am now 5 5 and done growing as we found out after an x ray a few weeks ago when we thought I broke my wrist. I also received several tools for my midwife kit and some more fabric. My big ticket item is 4 pairs of breeding bunnies and a new run we are expanding our business. Elsie got a lot of clothes she is already 5 3 at 9 and still growing. She received 4 pairs of breeding bunnies as well she has joined mom and I in business. With this my current bunnies are all going to retire.
We decided to expand the business a few weeks ago when moms' friend had to close her business down after her husband became ill. Her 8 bunnies are now mom's and Elsie and I each have 8 of our own. This means between the 3 of us we have 24 bunnies so that's nice. Emily aka the book worm received a ton of new books and a certificate that states Manny will be making her custom bookcases and a special rocking chair which I made cushions for. Elizabeth aka the little chef received a ton of cake making and decorating tools a bunch of aprons and her big item a professional kitchen instead of the small one she's currently using. Gwen aka the artist is getting lessons and a lot of supplies. And Georgia aka the sports mad girl received several special items related to that. I am signing off for a couple days will write when I can.
December 18th dear diary today I was asked to be at the birth of my newest cousin this was an amazing special thing to witness. As my auntie had been told she couldn't have babies after an accident 10 years ago. We were not expecting this to happen so when she told us a few months ago we were all very excited. She had been trying for 5 years before this happened. We all went and saw them late this evening. She is an adorable baby she was born with what mom would call a special ability she's missing her right arm at the elbow. She has red hair and green eyes and is long and skinny. We are leaving for a bonus trip tonight I will write the 26th as that's when the busy time ends.
December 26th dear diary we had an amazing trip dad took us to a winter sports resort, we all learned to skate and ski which I wasn't a huge fan of. We also met several friends there so that was an amazing trip we went to the wedding today which was also so amazing. we are leaving in the morning for the wedding of dad's brother who lost his wife last year. We are there through the 30th before spending a day with my older siblings and their families and if I am lucky my brothers will become dads while we are there. I will write the 31st as we will be busy till then.
December 31st dear diary today Both of my big brothers became daddies again one to a boy the other to a girl they each have one of each now. I was able to attend both birth's and while we were here, I found out my sisters expecting again and is due the end of august. This was such a special trip and we all had so much fun learning new things meeting new people and seeing so many special events and having new experiences. I need to sign off we just got home and Elsie has a really bad headache so I need to have Reuben take her to stay with Marie at their cottage.
January 3rd dear diary we have had a bad cold going through the family we have all had to stay at other places to protect mom I just got home last night and am on meds for 10 days I have strep. We had help cleaning the house so mom could come back. Elsie Doc and I had a ton of patients at the clinic including Mrs. Garcia who had badly cut her hand she needed 10 stitches, so she was sent out. We then saw A stable hand who had injured her shoulder Elsie made her a sling and she is to rest it for a few days and go from there. The last patient was Oona she had a minor head bump from tripping on her shoe we gave her an ice pack and some pain relief. I am signing off I am exhausted from the busy few weeks we have had.
January 10th we have been really busy with the clinic and a unplanned royal visit when Lilly's family stopped on there way to the next place on their list. Today in clinic we saw the daughter of the head stable hand who had fallen and jammed her thumb we splinted it and have told her mom if she is still in pain to take her in tomorrow. we then saw Donnie who had fallen on the ice he has badly pulled his back muscles, so he is on strict bed or sofa rest. After this dad brought Gwen and Georgia in, they both had a nasty scrapped elbow from a fall on the ice. After all this mom announced that as of yesterday, she has clean scans and is 8 weeks from finishing chemo. We are all excited about this as it's a big deal for us to have gone through this as a family.
In other huge news Carter has with mom and dad's permission asked me to next month's Valentine's ball, our kingdoms biggest event of the year. I accepted and mom has Lola making me a very grownup dress its pink velvet with my first long skirt and a ribbon detail on the wrists hem neckline and bottom. She is having Sherman make my first very low healed shoes for the occasion. We all look forward to this event as it's always fun James has asked Lilly to the dance, she too said yes, her dress is red and her shoes are black where mine are white. Signing off I have a dress fitting then am filling in For Dorrie who has an ear infection.
January 20th after I wrote last Elsie Lilly Olivia, and I went on a 10 day royal visit to Carters kingdom and then to see our friend Ruby's mom remarry she married Jade's dad who lost his wife to a bad flu like sickness late last year. Ruby's dad passed when she was 4 due to a sailing accident if I remember correctly. Signing off I am exhausted and suspect I may have an ear infection.
January 25th dear diary I was right I did have a severe ear infection and needed 2 shots of antibiotics to get it to clear up. It was decided we all need new ear tubes and Gwen and Georgia also need their tonsils out as do Lilly and Olivia. Signing off till the 1st at the earliest as surgery is scheduled for tomorrow and I will be getting better and helping Lilly like she has helped me in the past.
