Chapter 2: Elmina

"It's Elmina!" Lucy pointed out as the group went to the edge and see elimina city.

"We finally made." Gray comments with hands in pockets.

"Let's go and explore for a bit." Natsu suggested.

"I don't know about the exploring part, but sure." Lucy agrees anyway as the group goes into the city and look around their atmosphere.

"Whoa! I can smell the sea!" Gray says.

"These building walls are really dirty." Natsu points out.

"The city is probably old." Wendy added.

"Don't get lost guys, especially you two, natsu and happy." Lucy lectures.

"Yeah, yeah, we get it." Natsu shrugs off.

"Harboring towns have a lot of fish, right?" Happy questioned and looks at carla.

"Not interested." Carla declines.

"Let's start with lodging." Erza smiled and suggested.

Up top on from afar on one of the buildings, Two people are watching them, "Another group of travelers, huh." The man with two horns on his head along with a female companion were observing them, "They are mages from the southern continent, Lord Water god." She revealed to him as he looks down with a gloomy gaze, not angry at all.

(The group settle in a journey hotel and only find a fish flopping on the counter when they got there, which they look and question in wonder.)

"Fishy!" Happy drools with shining eyes and waves his hands uncontrollably.

"Calm yourself." Carla rolls her eyes.

"Why is there a fish on this counter..." Gray wonders.

"Is there no receptionist?" Wendy questions.

Natsu grabs the fish and is drooling as well, "Is this one of those "drink" type fish?"

"That's not fair natsu! I want some too!" Happy waves his hands.

"Your seriously going to drink it?!" Lucy exclaims dramatically.

"No way!" The fish talks before transform into a man upside down while natsu is still holding him by the legs, much to the groups total surprise and to happy's dismays.

"Welcome to hotel journeys, ladies and gentleman." He greets them while still being upside down.

"That fish turned into a human!" The group exclaimed dramatically in surprise.

"My, my... I accidentally turned into a fish while taking a nap. I'm sure that has happened to all of us." He cleans himself.

"No we have not!" Lucy says dramatically.

"Are you a fish? or a human?" Natsu looks at him up close.

"Yeah, you know that's very important..." Happy is still dismayed at him turning human.

"I suppose if it's either or I'd say I was a fish." He replied back.

"A fish?!" Gray still couldn't believe it.

"No way!" The receptionist thought of something before running off, "I accidentally almost forgot about my date! Everyone please use these rooms as you please!"

"O-OI..." Gray wonders at him running off.

"Sameko! I'm coming dear!" He promises out loud.

"Same-..." Carla trailed and wonders who that is.

"Oh right! I accidentally almost forgot to tell you all something. If you plan on staying in this city, you must not forget to drink the complimentary beverage left in your rooms." He advises, "Otherwise, there's no way that you will not be able to live here, as humans."

(The group can't help but be confused at that.)

"Now then! Off to see sameko!" He dashes out the door as everyone finds him weird.

Now look around, "What was with that guy..." Lucy wonders.

"You mean, what was with that fish..." Gray corrects her.

"What was that sort of magic?" Wendy questions before turning to erza, "What are we going to do? This hotel..."

"It is indeed a strange establishment. That said, it'll be a hassle finding another one." Erza replied.

Lucy sits down on the couch and stretches her arms, "I'm fine with this place and I'm tired of trampling around anyway."

"And it's free!" Natsi grins.

"It's not gonna stay free, silly. Before we go, we'll leave out money." Lucy replied.

"..." Happy is thinking of something.

"What's wrong, Happy?" Carla questioned.

"I was looking forward to that fish, but now I won't get any." Happy has a downed face.

"I feel you." Carla has a downed face as well.

(They then gather around the drink average and took a drink.
(After taking it, things blacked out for a moment as the sun outside was getting watery.)

"!" Gray wakes up in his hotel room, sees himself in his swimming trucks, gets out of bed and seemingly swims out the door, "What the hell is this?!" He wonders, "Everyone..." He the notices that he's breathing underwater and clutches his mouth, "Crap my breathe..." But to his surprise, "Wait... it's fine! and I can talk!" He then notices atmosphere out the window and opens it to see, "What in the world is going on here?! The town's in the middle of the ocean now!"

"You finally awake, eh, Gray?" Natsu(in swim trucks) and happy are excitedly swimming.

"Natsu!" Gray is surprised to see him.

"Look! we're in the middle of the ocean!" Natsu grins excitedly.

"Even through we're out here," Lucy swam and trailed in swimsuit.

"We can still breathe." Wendy finished in swimsuit as well as they both wave at him.

"It's so pretty!" Carla is in her human form and is amazed.

"Fishies! Fishies!" Happy swims around for them and is amazed.

"A race?! I won't lose sameko!" Erza accepts the female fishes challenge.

"Your spirits have dropped from seeing this, huh..." Gray is surprised.

"I see you all drank the medicine as I asked." The receptionist comes to gray in his fish form, "It's designed to help people that aren't people that aren't fishes like us adapt to water."

"The receptionist!" Gray surprised to see him as well.

"Forgive my late introduction. I am Kashima, the hotel journey's manager." He introduces and bows his fish head.

"What's going on in this city?!" Gray asked.

"Nothing special in particular. It's simply high tide." Kashima explains.

"The whole town?!" Gray dramatically asked.

"Originally, this was a town of fishes. I suppose you could call this it's "true form"." He describes.

"So then why do you turn into humans during the daytime?" Gray asks.

"Because people would be quite shocked if we continued to stay as fish!" Kashima replied.

"That didn't stop you from turning into one earlier!" Gray exclaimed, "You should just tell people up front."

"But then the surprise would be ruined!" Kashima tries to explain.

"Uhahaha!" Natsu is having the time of his life.

"I feel like I've gotten way better at swimming!" Happy is enjoying it as well.

"That is another effect of the medicine." Kashima reveals.

"So that's why I'm able to have a fair contest with sameko." Erza gets it.

"By the way, that's not sameko." Kashima corrects.

"I've read a fairy tale like this before!" Lucy says.

"An underwater one?" Wendy asks.

"Yep... a boy saves a bullied turtle. As thanks, the turtle brings the boy back with him to the ocean world." Lucy tells the story.

"Then what happens?" Wendy is interested.

"Then well..." Lucy trailed, "The boy get's turned into a jellyfish."

"!?" Wendy imagines herself as one and doesn't like it.

Gray is leans on the edge of the window, talking with kashima, "Hey... do we've come to this town in search of the clues and whereabouts of the water dragon god."

"!" Kashima couldn't believe what he just heard.

"Do ya happen to kno-" Gray was about to ask again, but...

"No way!" Kashima shouts angrily at him, "We will not allow you to lay a single finger on lord water god!"

(The fishes then start to turn on and attack team natsu. The fishes are chasing happy and sameko tries to bite erza.)

"What the?!" All of a sudden..." Carla trailed.

"The fishes ae attacking!" Lucy finished.

"Am I going to be turned into a jellyfish?!" Wendy covers her head, still having that story in her head.

Just then, a fish then bites lucy's bra off, "Kyaah! What are you doing?!" She covers herself in embarrassment.

"Trying to pick a fight, ya basterds?!" Natsu is red to thrash them.

"Stop natsu! don't hurt them!" Erza halts him, "We'll retreat for now!"

"Tsk!" Natsu had no choice but to agree as the group then starts to swim away from the chasing fishes.

"Noooo waaaay! Do not let them escape!" Kashima orders in anger, "They're just like the human from the other day!"

"Humans from the other day?" Gray questioned at what he meant before thinking, "Hold on? it can't be..."

"This way! Erza guides.

"Crap! there are so many!" Natsu sees them.

"I'm getting chased by fishes!" Happy exclaims dramatically and doesn't like that it's the opposite.

Meanwhile:

Sueong's team is walking through town and viewing the surroundings.

"I gotta say... Elmina looks like a city from the old centuries." Hiouis comments, looking at some building, "I mean, look at these walls."

"It's not surprising, dragon's do live for centuries if I recall. With one present here, so does this town." Tyrone said.

"Forget about how the town looks you two." Chelliel reminds, "Now that we're in elmina, what's next for planning?" She asks sueong.

"First, we'll taking a break after coming a long way." Sueong replies.

"Phew, thank god cause I'm famished." Hiouis sighs in delight.

"Already?" She asked, narrowing a brow in surprise.

"Why not? The water dragon gods isn't going anywhere." Tyrone said, "Afterwards, we ask intel on where he's at around these parts."

"Exactly, you're catching on, tyrone." Sueong agrees, "Besides, I'd rather take extreme precautions since these 6 Dragons gods are on the level of a deceased enemy, Acnologia." He's got a serious look on him, knowing it'll be tough.

I bet you guys are thinking about how Sueong knows about the 6 dragon gods and there power level? Well, later down the line, it'll be reveal. Otherwise, make your predictions about what's to come for the Arkobolos.

With team Natsu in Elmina as well, they'll encounter each other sooner or later.
