Hey guys, now back after being absent from this(Due to having 2 other stories: BHA Next Genrations and Edens Zero the Clone Wars). Also, my bad for the misunderstanding of the wrong chapter. It's fixed now and we're right on track.
Also read the last chapters of 100YQ and I must say? Mashima needs to stop with the rushed defeat of Diabolos right now. Erza shouldn't have been able to beat Misaki(who's on level with Suzaku and Kirin, as well as equal to Gildarts and these guys are stronger than Erza). The man needs to get the powerscaling right cause it's all over the place.
Well, with that aside, on to chapter 16.
Chapter 16: Guild of Slayers:
With the conclusion of the fight, the two remaining teams check on their lead slayers to see how they're holding up.
Glancing ahead, but ignores team natsu, Sueong turns the other way and tells his team, "We've accomplished killing off Mercuphobia. Let's go." He proceeds to walk, but,
"Hold it!" Natsu exclaims out, prompting sueong to turns around at them, "Did I inflict all those burns on you, sueong?" Natsu can see the burnt wounds on him, pretty much everywhere.
"Do you see anyone around here who uses fire magic? Hmph, no brains as usual." Sueong sighs, shaking his head and not impressed in the slightest.
Natsu kinda ignores the insult and takes that as confirmation that it was himself, now looking at his burned hand from the amp he had, surprised at this borrowed power. While is left hand covers his left stomach wound he received from the ice spear.
"Man, the guy really doesn't remember fighting you. Did that power upgrade really jogged his memory that much?" Jetaol said, with a finger to his chin.
"Clearly it did as we can see." Tyrone states the obvious. Sueong scoffs and doesn't care to continue this until,
"Sueong!" Erza calls out, getting his and everybody's attention, "Were you really going to kill Natsu with that last strike?"
"Huh?" Sueong glares, seeing that question shouldn't even be asked.
"You may have had the same upgrade of power as Natsu did, but you were in control of your actions." Erza said and noticed beforehand, "We need an explanation, espiecally to the wound inflicted in his left stomach..." She looks at natsu clutching it a little.
Tyrone speaks up in sueong's defense and rebukes, "Actually, He doesn't have to explain jack to you."
"Say what?" Gray gets mad, taking a little step up.
"You heard me. Use your got damn brain and tell us which slayer was going for the killing blows first? I'm a hundred percent we all know who it was." Tyrone points right out at natsu, who looks straight up after seeing his burnt hand.
"..." Erza and Gray clinch their teeth, glaring mad and didn't answer, also looking at natsu a little, but still at Tyrone and jetoal.
"That's what I thought." Tyrone scoffs, proving correct.
"Don't "that's what I thought" us!" Gray starts losing his temper, "It still doesn't change that ever since the water temple skirmish, you tried-" He states this to sueong mostly, but...
"Shut up and answer this question then..." Sueong interrupts with a dark frown, "Starting all the way backing at the water temple, recall one time went for a killing blow. Go on, and don't try to lie either."
"Kuh..." Gray''s taken back by that question, in his mind, it's actually true that back at the water god's temple, sueong only did an ice wave and ice punch, which didn't count as going for killing blows.
"See? You don't recall and can't prove it can you? Idiots can't think before they actually talk." Sueong scoffs, not surprised in the slightest, "And don't even try getting us started with our inflicted wounds, even I suffered heavy burns because of him." He stares at natsu with a frown, which natsu does too in return, the ice slayer also adds.
"The first dude who even thinks about pulling a large amount of bloodlust deserves to get the same treatment in return, nothing wrong with that right?" Jetoal shrugs with his arms up, smirking with eyes closed as he states a point.
"Sueong, I wasn't conscious when I fought you this whole time. If I was, then I wouldn't of tried to kill you." Natsu said calmy, but still glares.
"Even so, you still threw the first punch before our fight with mercuphobia even started, indicating your declaration of battle." Sueong replies, recalling at the water temple.
"That wasn't what I was trying to do!" Natsu argues.
"Oh yeah? I beg to differ." Sueong finds that a lie.
"It's true! I was stopping you from attacking the water god dragon, he was a good guy." Natsu states, recalling how nice the water dragon in human form was.
"And look where that got him, even his own secretary told this white wizard to take his power, but all that did was the reverse and make him go out of control." Sueong scoffs at this, "The way I see it, he was naïve for letting her be in the same room as him, thinking she could help him with whatever was going on in his mind... that's what led to the amount of destruction in Elmina."
"Even though you had part in that destruction too?" Erza asks.
"You mean "both" of us had part in that destruction?" Sueong debunks that claim, referring to him and natsu, making Erza scoff in return.
"We were gonna let the him off the hook, not because he was a good guy or anything... he just wasn't worth it that time due to his low power." Tyrone states out, basically what sueong said before.
"If we knew he was gonna rampage, then he would have been dealt with sooner than now." Sueong adds, frowning.
"First of all, dealing with him was our job! And second, dealing with all of the dragon gods is our job so just stay out the hell out of our way!" Natsu yells out angrily.
"You're in no position to tell anybody what to do!" Sueong argues right back, having a dark glare "We're going after the rest of the Dragon gods and that's final. This isn't up for debate so get that through your thick skull!"
"Why are you guy even on this quest?" Natsu asks, still mad.
"None of your damn business." Sueong rebukes and ignores that question.
"Oh, yes it is!" Natsu exclaims out.
"This argument is getting heated..." Hiouis thought, glancing at sueong before glancing at natsu.
"As a matter of fact, it's not. The way I see it, you're not cut out to hunt a dragon." Sueong states out a with a dark glare, "You're way too naïve and too soft to the point you assume a dragon god isn't bad. How do you even know the next dragon god is a good guy? Go on, say it!"
"We'll only know when we see them, then we decide if they're good or evil." Natsu rebukes, "If they're evil, then yeah, we'll defeat. But if they're the opposite, then we won't need to fight... but if you and those guys from diabolos try to attack that one, then you'll have to get through us."
"..." Seeing that he's mind is made up, Sueong scoffs in aggravation, "That attitude right there is my point, too naïve, too soft, and lack of judgement. It'll end up getting you and everyone else killed."
"Come guys, can we stop arguing?" Wendy speaks up, "Sueong, you, natsu-san, and the rest of us worked together to beat mercupohiba, and also defeated acnologia way back because of us coming together... why are we now fighting each other?"
"Acnologia's a thing of the past now, shorty. More threats that are on his level, the Dragon gods, are the only things to worry about." Sueong replies, "Besides, you can blame him for this declaration of a fight." He eyes right at Natsu, "If he hadn't done that and just simply stayed out of the way then we wouldn't be having this argument right now." He then adds, looking only at Natsu, "This little discussion is over, we can settle this some other time for the next dragon god we come across, same goes for those Dragon eaters."
"Fine." Natsu accepts the challenge.
"Sueong." Erza speaks up, gaining his attention, "What is the guild you're all from?"
"Oh? You really want to know about that Huh?" Jetoal tilts a brow and grins, "I hope you guys are prepared like what you hear."
"Whether we like it or not is irrelevant, just say it." Gray replies.
"Suit yourself." Tyrone shrugs, but I will say this, it's similar to the Diabolos."
"Similar, you say?" Happy asks.
"Bingo! That's right." Jetoal said, pointing in confirmation.
"Our Guild is a guild that's only full of slayers, the Arkobolos Guild." Sueong reveals with a frown.
"!" Team Natsu is shocked at that, like seriously.
"A guild full of slayers?!" Gray widens.
"It really is just similar to diabolos...!" Lucy widens.
"That's right, we have dragon slayers, devil slayers, and god slayers." Tyrone said, smirks in proud.
"Guild full of Slayers and Guild full of Dragon eaters... what's next?" Erza murmurs.
"That explains why you have 4, including yourself, as slayers in one team." Erza glances at sueong, getting it now.
"Told you guys to be prepared for what you hear." Jetoal shrugs and shakes his head, having warned them.
"Actually, make that 5." Natsu said, this time looking at Jetoal.
"5 you say?" Gray asks, confused.
"Exactly. I noticed before... that you smell just like a slayer as well." Natsu says to Jetoal only.
"I noticed too..." Wendy nods and confirms.
"So what type of slayer are you?" Natsu asks jetoal, "Actually what you used before means..."
"Heh, well it was a matter of time before you guys figured it out so can't say I'm surprised." Jetoal said and reveals, "My slayer attribute is wood, hence, I'm a Wood Dragon slayer."
"Another one huh..." Gray murmurs, a little bit surprised.
"Woah..." Lucy utters.
"Figured as much..." Natsu said.
"Now that you guys know who we are, we're outta here." Sueong turns his back, but let's off with a warning, "Also, We'll bust through you guys and diabolos to take down the next dragon god, so consider this a warning to stay out the way."
"Hmph!" Natsu scoffs and glares.
The rest of team Sueong turns to leave as wel, with Hiouis turning and around saying, "Welp, later." He paw waves and winks at carla, who shivers of disgust.
Before that happens, footsteps are heard, walking up between the teams.
"?" Team Sueong(having stopped in their tracks) and Team Natsu now turn to see the mysterious figure walk up to them with his cloak, now revealing himself.
"Unfortunately, nobody is leaving, especially not after what I just heard." The figure said, with the hood over him.
Sueong and Natsu have some surprised looks as they catch the scent from this figure, comparing it with another figure in their minds. Jetoal, Wendy, and Kanata also catch his scent due to be dragon slayers as well, but Wendy has the same surprised expression as natsu/sueong.
"Get ready, cause your all about to face death." The figure grimaces, glaring with a mad expression under his hood as he puts his two hands on up on it.
Just when things were about to be over, the mysterious figure now reveals himself to both teams.
Another Reveal: Jetoal being a Wood Dragon Slayer the whole time.
Massive reveal: Arkobolos is a guild full of Slayers(Dragon, Devil, and God Slayers)
The mysterious figure makes his move on the teams Immediately! His name and design will be revealed next time.
