Waking up there was nothing but pain for Ember. It throbbed threw her. It made tears fill and fall from her eyes. She tried to remember what happened to her to cause such pain. And when she remembered what happened last night, she froze. A weak sob left her.

Someone broke in, beaten her, and then drugged her! She spilt her guts!

She needed to call that officer to warn them! She looked for her phone, and found it on the side table. She didn't have it there last night... HE must've put it there. She went to grab it but her hand hurt.

She looked seeing her hand was swollen and bruised.

She bit her lip as she whimpered. She then used her other hand, to get her phone. she was able to call the officer. She begged them to send someone to check on her sister and Finn. She also asked for someone to get an ambulance to her. She was in to much pain to drive herself.

_

Soon she was passed out again. Her pain was to much. It was to much to handle. When she woke up again, she was in the hospital. She looked at around and saw a familiar face. It was the woman whom she called to check on her sister.

She helped her sit up with the help of a doctor.

"Ember are you ok?" The woman asked. "Where's Rey?" Was all that Ember wanted to know.

The woman looked down. "Where is Rey? Is she ok?" She asked. The woman shook her head no. "I'm sorry. They were transferring her and Finn when the car was attacked. No one survived." The woman told her.

Ember looked frozen and shocked by the news of not only Finn's death, but her sisters death as well.

_

It was hard to cope with the fact that her sister was gone, and it was all her fault. The officer told her that it wasn't. That she was drugged with this type of drug that is used as a truth serum that forced her to speak out everything she knew.

It didn't help her feel any better though.

Her sister was dead now. And it was all her fault.

She was going to be stuck here at the hospital for a bit while she heals. Then she will be taken away. She would refuse. She didn't see his face clearly enough when he took his mask off. So it isn't like he would have a reason to kill her. He would've already.

She wanted to cry. But it hurt to cry. She was busted up and wrapped up. She just wanted peace and comfort. Real loving comfort.

"Ember. This is Officer Dameron. He will be the head of the team watching and protecting you." The officer told her. She looked over and saw a very handsome man. He stood there with soft brown eyes that held such kindness. His curly hair looked soft. All around he looked around a very kind and handsome man.

He came up to her.

"Hello Ember. You can call me Poe. I am so sorry that you are going through this." He told her. She forced a small smile as she wiped a tear. "Thank you." She said. Her voice was still horse from her screaming and such from that night.

"I am going to make sure this bastard never comes near you." He promised her seriously. "And we will make sure he is caught and brought to justice." The woman told her. But to Ember her words felt like an empty promise. Something she had to say to the victim.

Ember laid against her pillow. She felt empty. Hollow. Lost. Everything and nothing at the same time. She looked out the window, but not really looking out the window. Her mind wasn't even there.

Poe saw this and felt so bad for this girl. She seemed to young to be put through this. He wanted to hug her, help her feel better. But he knew that it wouldn't she needed to mourn and heal before she can feel better.

Ember was in the car with Poe, and the female officer, Kim. Ember looked out the window as they drove. "Do you know who it is?" She asked out of the blue. Kim was quiet. Confirming her thoughts. "Who?" She questioned once more.

"We don't know his name. He always wears a mask." Kim told her. Flashes of the mask and robotic voice flashed painfully in Ember's mind, making her flinch. "He wore it when he attacked me. He took it off, but I couldn't see him clearly at all." Ember told her.

"Then you know that he uses a voice changer. So, we aren't able to know where he and his group is. He never stays in one spot. His family is dangerous. All we know is they are an extremely powerful group." Kim told her.

"If you know who murdered my sister, then why the FUCK haven't you found him!" She shouted angerly. "It isn't that easy Ember." Kim tried. "Bullshit! You clearly know his family start with them!" She shouted as tears filled her eyes. "We are trying. Like I said. Never in the same spot." Kim tried.

Ember started crying and accepted Poe's hug. He had been like a rock for her. Always offering a shoulder to cry on. Poe rubbed her back to comfort her. Kim was driving, Poe was in the back with her.

She was such a sad soul.
