The Watcher was looking out to the infinite horizon, before looking above the Earth where he saw that there was a city floating above their world.
"The galaxy. To your eyes, a hundred billion points of light. But where you see light, I see worlds and the stories that fill them. But in a multiverse of infinite possibilities, is your destiny determined by your nature or by the nature of your world?"
ATTILAN:
"Word is spreading fast on the death of the Royal Family, but most don't know what to make of it." Auran informed Maximus as he sat on the throne of Attilan and basked in his victory.
"Put royal guards on every corner. A quiet show of force." Maximus demanded of her. "Make them a little nervous, and just when they need it most, I will step out and provide a calming act. As for Medusa and Crystal, send out a bounty to the most qualified people in the galaxy to go to Earth and hunt them down."
"Yes, my king." Auran confirmed as she walked off and left him on the throne.
"Let's see how far they can run." Maximus muttered to himself with a grin.
In a spaceship not too far off from Attilan's current location, a team of the most qualified people in the galaxy are...playing baseball.
Drax the Destroyer was holding a wooden bat as Peter Quill was holding a baseball and glove.
"From the belt to the plate!" Peter Quill, the self entitled Star-Lord, said before he tossed the ball to Drax, who immediately slammed the ball and bat to the ground, breaking the bat in the process. "Oh, come on, Drax, you shouldn't have even swung at that. It was a ball."
Drax then leaned down and picked up the ball. "It is still a ball, Quill. You told me to hit it."
In a nearby chair, there's a talking raccoon and a talking tree who was holding a bat made out of his own powers.
"I am Groot."
"Yeah, Groot's right." The raccoon stated to Quill. "You told us we was gonna make a diamond!"
"It's a baseball diamond, Rocket. Where you play baseball in." Quill explained to the raccoon before looking back to Drax. "And you hit the ball unless it's a bad pitch. Then it's a ball, but only if you don't try to hit it."
"I do not understand this game." Drax stated in confusion.
"Game?" Quill asked. "Baseball's more than a game."
Gamora, adopted daughter of Thanos, sighed as Quill started ranting and then saw they got a new message on the computers. When she opened the message, she saw that it was a bounty about two wanted individuals sent out to the biggest hunters of the galaxy.
"Uh, Quill, we've got a hit." Gamora informed him when they stopped arguing and turned to face the nav-computer. "Two wanted individuals that escaped to Terra. Murdered most of the Royal Family of Attilan."
"Yeah, yeah. How much they paying for them?" Quill wondered, stopping his fight with Drax and Rocket.
Gamora then pulled up the information and saw how much they're willing to pay for the capture and return of Medusa and Crystal: dead or alive.
100,000 units
"One hundred million units?!" Rocket asked in shock before racing to the controls of the ship. "Let's get to Terra and find these people!"
EARTH:
Peter was looking at the manikins that Cisco had put together with altered versions of the Spider-Man suit:
One was all black with yellow webbing outline and red gloves and boots.
Another had an all-black top down to the shoulders, his eyes were a blood red, and the rest of his suit is red, and he had claws.
But then there was one that indeed caught Peter's eyes.
It's an all-white outfit, with a black Spider on his hips and the back had the same spider, and yellow visor eyes.
"I like this one." Peter commented to Cisco.
"Really?" Cisco asked, surprised he went with that one. "Out of all of them?"
"I like the simple design, and it's a nice change from the red and blue." Peter commented as he felt the fabric and it's stronger than it looks.
"I'd have gone with the black one." Sharon commented.
"Well, I'm the superhuman here." Peter reminded his cousin. "And shouldn't you be at work?"
"I'm on my lunch break." Sharon defended as she took a bite out of her sandwich. "And haven't even officially started working there until I talk with the Captain."
They then got a bleep on the crime alert from the computers.
"Looks like we've got an armed robbery at 4th and Collins." Tess tells them.
Peter then smiled and looked to the white Spider-Man suit. "Let's see how your suit holds up in a fight, Cisco."
The Watcher then moved closer down to earth as he watched an armored truck driving down the road and attacked, by three men on motorcycles and a pickup truck.
"As of this moment, the villain known as Leonard Snart, who would later turn out to become the villain known as Captain Cold, later set to become a Legend, was setting in motion the exact same robbery that would cause him to up his game to fight the Flash and steal the cold gun. In one universe, it also ended with him stealing the Venom Symbiote that's kept in lockdown at Mercury Labs. But in this universe...something very different occurred."
Snart had just broken down the door to the car when he was webbed in the back, immediately getting yanked out of the truck and sent flying.
Snart had three other guys with him, two holding the guards of the armored truck, when the two were then picked up and smacked into one another by Jennifer.
The driver of the getaway car was then looking to see why his friends screamed out when he was immediately punched in the face by Susan who was invisible.
The last of them started to run away and was immediately stopped when Johnny threw a fireball out at the motorcycle, causing it to explode and send one of them flying backwards.
Before he could retaliate with his gun, he was blocked off by Ben coming down and shielding Johnny.
"You gotta stop. Now you're embarrassing yourself." Ben informed him as he approached the man who kept firing the rock man, followed by Ben grabbing his gun and crushing it in seconds. "I warned ya." He the head butted the man, knocking him out and shattering the helmet.
Peter then dropped and flipped around before landing on his feet, breaking in the new suit and it feels like a perfect fit in every position.
"Nice work, team. We should get out of here before the police show up." Peter warned the team as sirens were coming.
When the police came to the scene, they were met with all four of the crew webbed to the side of the truck and a note from Spider-Man and two unconscious guards.
"I love it when they always think they can do crime in a city with Spider-Man protecting us." Yuri said with a sigh.
"Yeah, it's fun to see them try. A bit funnier when he leaves us to let them out of the webbing." Joe commented, the webbing the hardest thing to get them out of. "But I never thought he'd get the best of you, Leonard." He stated to the leader Leonard Snart.
"Because he wasn't alone." Leonard informed Joe, confusing him and the others around him. "Seems Spider-Man got himself his own crew. Two women, and two other guys."
"Four more people with super powers?" Yuri asked. "Not likely."
"Believe what you want, I know what I saw." Snart stated as they just waited for the webbing to melt. Kinda wishing that he webbed their mouths as well.
At the CCPD, Barry was heading back downstairs to have a talk with Captain Singh. On his way over, he ran into Iris who had two coffees.
"Coffee break." Iris tells Barry. "I was on my way past and thought you and my dad could use a pick me up."
"Oh, thanks. But your dad's not here. Waiting for an attempted robbery gang to thaw out of Spider-Man's webbing." Barry informed her as he took his coffee.
"Really? Anything interesting?" Iris asked him.
"Only that the man caught was Leonard Snart. And he claims it wasn't only Spider-Man, but several other individuals who stopped him." Barry answered with a shrug.
"Is that so?" Iris asked with a grin.
"No, he didn't mention your Ghost Girl or Rock Monster." Barry warned her. "At least, from what I'm aware."
"Doesn't mean they weren't there." Iris stated. "I bet that they're like a small crime fighting team that Spider-Man's training."
"I don't see why Spider-Man would suddenly need a team." Barry stated to her. "He's been doing this for years, and suddenly he thinks he needs a team? It's usually the other way around."
"Well, speaking of them, as part of my journalism classes, I started a blog about them." Iris informed him. "The city needs to know they're out there. The literal unsung heroes."
"Okay, take it from someone who's been on the internet since day one of it." Barry gave her some friendly advice while walking to Singh's office. "Blogging about things like this will just bring the crazies to your front door."
"My blog is anonymous." Iris promised him.
"All right, anonymous or not, you never know what type of weirdos are out there." Barry stated to him.
"I can vouch for that." Sharon commented from a chair in the office. "The internet is filled with weirdos and psychotics. Trust me, I've had to deal with a few on dates."
"Allen. Thanks for joining us." Singh said to Barry as Iris left them to their meeting.
"Everything alright, sir?" Barry asked as he looked to Sharon.
"This is Sharon Carter; she's going to be a part time CSI with you." Singh introduced the two of them.
"I'm looking forward to working alongside you." Sharon said to Barry with a smile. "Don't worry, I'm not gonna try to take your job or anything."
Barry looked confused on the comment but shrugged. "Great to hear."
Crystal and Medusa were trying their best to hide, but that's a little impossible considering the fact they have a gigantic bulldog with them.
"We can't just sit here while Maximus is on the throne!" Crystal shouted to Medusa who was trying to put her thoughts together.
"I know, but we can't just go back and fight when they believe that we murdered Black Bolt." Medusa tried to calm her sister down. "All we can do is wait for things to cool down and be patient."
"How patient can we be?" Crystal asked. "How long can we hide?"
But before she could hear Medusa's response, she noticed how she was looking up at the red dot on Crystal's head. She then quickly shielded her sister by pushing her out of the way from an electric net that came down and almost hit her.
"How the hell did you miss that, Quill?!" Rocket cried.
Lockjaw then got up and growled at the voices coming from all around.
"It took a second for it to warm up!" Quill cried in retaliation.
"I am Groot!" Groot cried.
Crystal then blasted lighting from her hands in the sky, trying to blast at the people who just fired at her.
"Whoa! The file didn't warn us about that!" Rocket screamed.
"They're Inhumans, Rocket, what part was unclear?" Gamora asked.
"We need to go. Lockjaw!" Crystal said as Lockjaw then teleported them away.
"They vanished?" Drax asked.
"The dog can teleport." Quill said in shock.
Lockjaw accidentally just ended up teleporting them around the corner of their hideout. In the middle of the street.
A car honked and slammed on the breaks, but definitely wasn't going to stop in time, and it ended with Medusa needing to use her hair to stop the car.
"We need to go. Now!" Medusa said as she and Crystal ran off with Lockjaw running down the streets.
That's when Quill came flying out of the building with his blasters raised and shooting down on them.
"Not gonna lie, it was a little anticlimactic." Johnny commented to Peter and the others when they returned to STAR Labs. "I was looking for some...flare."
"You're always looking for flare, Johnny." Sue scoffed at him.
"I'd say that was a pretty impressive fight." Peter complimented the group. "You all used your skills to benefit one another, no one got hurt, and in the end, all the criminals were caught."
"Those bullets itched a little." Jennifer commented as she scratched her arm.
Peter looked at her with a blank stare before looking for someone with an answer. "I don't know what to say to that."
"And I have to compliment on the team building you've all accomplished in a short matter of time." Harrison said to everyone. "This team has come a long way in a short amount of time."
Sue was looking over her tablet and was shocked at what she found. "Yeah, and it seems someone's started to notice."
"What?" Tess asked and looked at the blog. "Uh-oh." She then turned it around to reveal it to them.
"Seems someone's been putting the pieces together." Sue commented. "I mean, it wouldn't be the worst thing if the world knew we existed, but...I don't know if I like the idea of my face being a public icon."
"Understandable. You have kids." Tess completely understood her reasoning.
Peter then got a call from Sharon and he picked up. "Sharon. What's up?"
"Uh...this...this is a strange statement." Sharon stated over the phone and Peter's never heard her this...confused. "There's a dog on the loose downtown."
"Okay, Sharon, if it's a dog, someone will catch it. I mean, I'd just waste web fluid by going down there." Peter shrugged at hearing that.
"The dog's the size of a human." Sharon stated, and Peter was shocked to hear that.
"So, Clifford's loose on the city?" Peter asked in shock.
"Clifford, Elizabeth, another girl, and a guy with an iron mask." Sharon answers. "And one of those two girls have super hair. I'm not exaggerating. Check your screens."
Peter then looked back at the tv and switched it to the news where he was shocked to see they were recording the sightings of a redhead, a woman with short orange hair with black ends. And a giant bulldog.
"What the hell is that?" Ben asked.
"A giant dog." Peter answered.
"Aw. He's kinda cute." Jennifer commented when they also saw they were getting chased by a man in a mask, and a walking tree.
"Okay." Peter sighed, not even wanting to care anymore of logic. "Just...suit up."
Medusa and Crystal avoided the shots from Quill, trying to get out of the way from all of the people on the streets. Rocket had enough of this and aimed his rocket launcher at them before blasting.
Crystal saw it coming and shot a fireball at it, causing it to explode and sent the three of them flying.
Lockjaw whimpered in pain and he couldn't stand on his feet anymore. Medusa quickly got up and used her hair to grab ahold of the parked cars and yanked them towards the three and shielded them off.
Quill was about to go after them when a forcefield. Rocket and Groot were about to take their shot when they were attacked by a giant lamppost that embedded into Groot who suddenly stopped, sending Rocket flying.
Groot whimpered in sadness at seeing the lamp.
"Oh, you can get that out of you, you big baby, quit whining." Rocket said to him.
Medusa and Crystal looked around and saw they couldn't do anything with Lockjaw when Peter came down and landed ahead of them.
Medusa went in and wrapped Peter's arms up before slamming him into the wall.
"Whoa! Whoa! It's okay!" Peter tried to calm them down. "I'm not here to hurt you!"
"Then what do you want!?" Medusa asked.
"To help?" Peter said, unsure as of right now. "We can get you out of here."
"We?" Crystal asked.
"Us." Jennifer called, getting their attention and they looked to see all of their powered heroes. "We wanna bring you somewhere safe."
"Why are you helping us?" Medusa asked them.
"Because it's the right thing to do." Peter answered, struggling to get free of the hair.
Once Quill, Rocket, Groot, Gamora, and Drax all got to where they were last spotted and was shocked when they saw that there was nobody left.
"Where the hell did they go?" Quill asks.
