The Watcher looked down at the Quinjet as it flew off towards their destination. "While the heroes were back in the city fighting the villian known as Peek-A-Boo, the team that left were going off towards a base that would never have existed if it weren't for the one decision that changed everything. HYDRA never existed in this universe because Reed Richards was the one who funded them. If it wasn't for the change, they would have never come. But now a child's life hangs in the balance, many more twists coming out of it, and possibly a different outcome of this universe...and many other things..."

Peter was watching as the Quinjet, being flown by an autopilot, was heading for the HYDRA base that is holding Gerry. Seeing he has a few minutes before they got there, he decided it's time to tell the team what the plan is when they get there.

"Okay, team, welcome to Sokovia." Peter said as he pulled up a holographic projection of the base they're going to be attacking. "This is where HYDRA's apparently set up shop. The place is apparently a research base, but it's of dangerous experiments."

"What type of experiments?" Jennifer asked, crossing her arms.

"Human experiments, either testing people with powers like Jessica or giving them powers, learning how the newest trend of Metahumans work." Peter listed what Jessica had informed him.

"How many guards?" Ben wondered.

"Apparently the whole place is like Fort Knox, guards stationed everywhere." Peter stated as he gestured to all of the main entrances of the place where a lot of red dots highlighted. "But there are a few blind spots." He then gestured to an opening in the side of the mountain. "Jessica said they don't patrol this area due to the rough terrain that nobody can actually climb. Except for me and Jessica." He then dragged in a spider logo and a secondary followed. "Me and Jessica will enter in that way, make it up to the third floor where they keep their subjects. Hopefully that's where we'll find Gerry."

"I just want to thank all of you." Jessica tells them. "For risking your lives for me and my son."

"It's what we do." Johnny shrugged and leaned against the side of the Quinet with a smile.

"Right. Not because you think she's cute." Peter stated, knowing his friend too well.

"You think I'm cute?" Jessica asked Peter, causing him to freeze.

"Ha!" Johnny laughed seeing his own friend called himself out.

Peter just shook it off and gestured to the map. "The plan is simple. We need the guards distracted, and while that's happening, me and Jessica slip inside to get Gerry."

"Sounds simple." Jessica guessed.

"Yeah, why do I have a feeling this isn't gonna end well?" Ben asked.

"Ben, stop being such a worry wart." Johnny stated as he patted the big guy's shoulder.

Peter rolled his eyes and walked over to the doors and pushed a button, causing the doors to open as Jessica and Peter's stop was coming up.

"You ready?" Peter asked Jessica.

"Not really." Jessica admitted.

"Good." Peter replied. "I'd be worried if you were."

"You've done this before, right?" Jessica asked, a little afraid of what they're about to do.

"Nobody's ever done this before!" Peter declared as he took a few steps back before running at Jessica and tackled her, causing the two of them to fall out of the plane, both screaming in the process of falling.

"Was he wearing a parachute?" Johnny asked in worry.

"Didn't look like it." Ben had to admit he was questioning that himself.

Outside the ship, Peter and Jessica were falling down to the planet, the two still screaming their lungs out on the way down. Working quickly, he aimed a hand up to the sky and used a new setting that Cisco added to his web shooter.

"Cisco, if this doesn't work, I'm gonna haunt you." Peter promised as he shot out a strand of webbing that immediately turned into a parachute that stopped their crash.

They slowly descended down and reached the ground without a scratch. Jessica shrieked and smacked his chest. "Never do that again!"

"Sorry, we were running out of time to get to the drop zone, and I knew it'd take too long to explain to you what we needed to do. And longer to convince you to do it." Peter explained his actions and tapped his ear to only reveal static. "Yep, that's what I thought. Dead zone. We're on our own until they take down the power."

The two then started to make their way to the base and after a minute or two made it to the rock formation to bring them up to their secret entrance. Things seem to be going smoothly, as long as the others keep their end of the mission.

"You think your friends will be able to make it in without being spotted?" Jessica asked as they started to make it their own way up the mountain towards the base.

"Them? Stealthy?" Peter asked with a laugh as he leaped up the side of the mountain. "Nah, I'm waiting for them to make as much noise as possible."

They then heard a siren go off from the top of the mountain and looked up to see that the base immediately went into high alert.

"Look at that, not even five minutes." Peter noticed as he looked at an imaginary watch.

Jennifer tried to keep Ben and Johnny quiet to get them as close to the base as they could get, but that ended with Johnny bursting into flames due to the cold and Ben yelled, immediately getting the attention of the entire base, causing them to jump into action.

Ben went charging as they shot photon blasts at them, but they either missed or just pushed him back a little. Jessica came leaping in and crushed their nearest tank with just her feet and punched through to take down the driver.

Johnny came flying in and shot fireballs off in every direction before landing on a sentry post where he punched one of the guys and shot a blast of fire at another.

"Well, we lost the element of surprise!" Johnny seemed to notice as he saw they had jetpacks and shot them with fire.

"Well, maybe next time you won't burst into flames in the middle of a forest at night!" Jennifer stated as she charged and rammed straight through one of their smaller bases with a cannon on the roof.

"I was cold!" Johnny defended as he flew after one of the guys that were trying to escape when he picked them up.

"You have a hotter core temp than the five of us combined." Jennifer stated as she picked up one of their men with packs and tossed him at a tank, causing it to explode and flip over. She then caught it and caused the driver to fall out of the vehicle, where Jennifer immediately kicked him into a few trees.

"Well, let's just keep doing our job and hope the others are having better luck." Ben stated as one of the guys came charging at Ben, but that was met with him punching him right in the face.

Peter and Jessica leaped and climbed up the side of the mountain and finally found the entrance at the side of the cave. The cave was however blocked off, seems they did actually know about it.

"Sorry. Should have warned you." Jessica apologized as she walked up to the wall, and Peter watched as her hand started to release electricity before she swung and punched the wall, leaving a giant dent in it.

"Whoa." Peter was shocked to see just how stronger this girl was compared to him.

"Venom blast." Jessica explained how she did it. "My body possesses an inordinate amount of bio-electricity that I have learned to channel and discharge through my hands."

"That'll come in handy for this." Peter could tell as they started to walk down the empty halls. "So, what other powers do you have?"

"Mostly the same as you, super physical strength, the senses, but I have one you probably don't have." Jessica could guess. "Pheromone Secretion."

"Pheromone what?" Peter asks, not understanding what she's saying.

"My metabolism generates certain types of pheromones that can create fear, elicit attraction and/or repulsion on others, depending on unknown factors which might include gender and mood." Jessica explained it the best she could when they came across two guards.

"Hi." Peter greeted as he shot two webs out that blinded them followed by Jessica running in and leaping off the wall to kick the two in the face.

"We make a good team." Jessica commented.

"Guess we do." Peter shrugged and they kept making their way through the base.

Johnny flew past a dozen guards that are coming up the stairway and shot them with a beam of fire that he shot them with and kept going.

"Okay, how many people could fit in this place?" Johnny wondered, feeling like they're taking down every five when ten more are coming at them.

"Johnny, were you not paying attention to the briefing?" Jennifer asks as she picked up one of the motorcycles and tossed it at an incoming tank, causing it to crash. "At least one to two hundred."

"Honestly, Johnny, you should pay attention." Ben stated as he ripped off the roof of a tank and tossed it at the other approaching people.

"Hey, it's the Human Torch, Thing and She-Hulk!" Johnny reminded Ben and Jennifer of their code names as if they needed to be reminded.

Peter and Jennifer sneaked past the main room where all of the HYDRA men are currently in a panic about their predicament.

"Hier, Strucker. They approached under the cover of darkness, landed in the far woods. The perimeter guard panicked." One of them told their leader who's wearing a monocle.

"They have to be after the children." Strucker said, getting Jessica and Peter's look of shock when they heard the plural children. "Can we hold them?"

"They're too powerful." One of them stated.

"Deploy the rest of the tanks!" Strucker demanded. "Concentrate the fire on their weaker ones. A hit may make them close ranks."

Peter and Jessica stuck to the shadows and stayed away from as many of them as they possibly could in order to remain anonymous. Sneaking down the halls, they kept going until they reached an elevator and a stairway.

Seeing the elevator would be too obvious, and they would have no way out if things go south without raising the children's life, they decide to go down using the stairway.

"The last I checked, children were plural to child, meaning there's more than one kid." Peter stated as he and Jessica made their way up to the higher levels. "I thought it was only your kid who was here."

"So did I." Jessica muttered as she kicked down the door for the level.

They then looked and saw one man was sitting at the computers, just as he got up the two webs at him and blinded his eyes and sealed his mouth.

Whilst he tried to get it off himself, Peter went over and gave him a left hook that took him down. Making it to the computer, Peter saw there were two others that were in the building, not including Gerry.

"Fifth cell, to your left. Two other residents here in ninth, to the right. And the last is in the final one at the end of the hall, specially made." Peter informed Jessica as she raced off to find her son and free the others. "What else is here?" He wondered as he looked at the two others, one looked to be a little older than the other. Both of them were at least five to ten years old.

They looked pretty normal to Peter, but he had a feeling there was something going on underneath it all. Taking a quick moment, Peter started to look through the files on the kids whilst at the same time having them all downloaded to a USB that he carries around just for occasions like this.

Hey, it would've helped him when he had to take down the Kingpin. Luckily that guy carries a lot of them around and he used one of his own.

But when looking through the files, Peter looked and found Gerry's file. A little curious how they managed to achieve the ability to create a human being without a secondary sex, Peter opened the file and was shocked at what he saw.

There was indeed a father.

He knew that he needed to get the other two girls out of here, and he knew that he needed to take this up with Jessica later.

But focusing on the other two girls, he pulled up their files to at least get their names, and he would worry about their abilities later.

() Karolina Dean
() Katherine Power

Peter recognized the second one, as that is one of the relatives of the scientists that he used to work with in Mercury Labs: James Power.

He thought up a way to actually, to a means, of producing large quantities of energy cheaply through combining matter and anti-matter. But then he just disappeared one day, and nobody ever heard from him since. Seems HYDRA took him and his entire family, forced them to work for the organization to weaponize their research.

They died, but it seems their only daughter "Katherine 'Katie' Power" gained powers through the experiments. She can shoot energy balls from her chest when she absorbs energy by disintegrating an object and absorbing the released energy into herself. Apparently, she does not convert all of the matter she disintegrates into energy or create nuclear reactions within it; if she did, she would release far more energy than she has so far. Probably she disintegrates matter by severing the bonds holding its molecules together.

But the second prisoner is where things got interesting.

Because she's an alien.

Karolina Dean was raised by her parents Frank and Leslie Dean, two actors from TV's General Hospital, in Hollywood, California. Unbeknownst to Karolina, Frank and Leslie were aliens exiled from their home planet for criminal activities. Karolina's true nature was suppressed by a specialized medical alert bracelet which is made of a special metal that dampens her energy, the Deans were members of The Pride, a secret cabal involved in criminal and occult activities.

When Karolina witnessed her parents' murdering a girl as part of a ritual sacrifice, she ran away from home at the age of seven. Karolina discovered her alien heritage on her own, which gave her the ability to fly and manipulate solar energy, powers that were inhibited for most of her life by a medical alert jewelry bracelet forged from an alien metal.

But it also adds here HYDRA was very thorough to make sure this girl was never discovered, as they tracked her and her parents down. But after a few experiments, they ended up killing her parents, and she was the only survivor so far through the experiments due to her youth.

"Got them." Jessica informed Peter as she came back just as the USB finished downloading everything and he saw she got the three of them ready to go. "We good to go?"

"Yeah, and we need to have a talk." Peter told Jessica and noticed the girls seemed intimidated by him. "Hey." He greeted them and kneeled down just as the girls went behind Jessica. "My names Peter." He then reached up and removed his mask. "We're gonna get you guys out of here. Somewhere nobody's ever going to hurt you again."

The girls looked over to Jessica, as if they were asking a parent permission to do something.

"He's right, he's gonna help us." Jessica assured them.

They then looked to Katie who looked beyond them just to shoot a blast off, Peter immediately dodging it just as a HYDRA agent got hit and taken down by the blast from her chest.

"Nice shot." Peter complimented, earning a smile from the kid. "Now let's get the heck out of here."

Jennifer and Johnny met up after seeing they took down the rest of their Agents and saw they finally stopped sending more their way.

"Gotta admit, I was just warming up." Johnny joked as he extinguished his flames.

"That was dumb, even for you." Jennifer stated with a sigh before reaching for her ear to call it in. "Ben, the comms back up?"

"Yep, just tore through the facility now." Ben admitted as they saw they had connections back.

"Peter? You and Jessica good?" Johnny tried to call them in. "Hello?"

"Yep. We found Gerry. And a few other experiments we'll inform you on later. I'll meet you back at the jet, Jessica's gonna need a escort." Peter told them as he stopped and knew he wanted to have a word with the man in charge.

"Peter! I thought you would never ask." Johnny said happily.

"Johnny, I'm gonna have a word that I can't have in front of three kids." Peter promised his friend and turned to Jessica. "I'll meet you there, keep them safe."

"I promise." Jessica promised and led the kids out of the place.

Strucker tried to run away to his helicopter on the roof, just for his pilot to be kicked back into the facility by none other than Peter himself. He was mad, he has a certain level of tolerance for criminals, and when it comes to human experimentation, especially kids, he has a small fuse to burn.

"Baron Von Strucker." Peter said as he circled the monster. "HYDRA's number one thug."

"Technically, I'm a thug for S.H.I.E.L.D." Strucker corrected.

"Then technically you're unemployed." Peter snarled as he walked forward, causing Strucker to back up against the wall. "Now I know about the three and the woman you experimented on. But I want to know if there anymore and how you gave them powers? I know it wasn't natural."

"Don't worry, I know when I'm beat." Strucker promised, looking to see one of his men with a newly experimental weapon. "You will tell your friends at S.H.I.E.L.D. how I cooperated?"

"I'll put it right under 'human experimentation'." Peter promised, immediately sensing the man coming. "Now..." He then sensed the gun getting ready to fire and immediately spun to kick the man and the grabbed Strucker to slam him against the wall. "...where is the source?"

Jessica got through the snow with the kids and kept going until she finally reached the Quinjet where the others were waiting for her.

"Hey, where's Peter?" Johnny asked as he walked out to meet her and the kids.

"He had some unfinished business, I guess." Jessica had to guess, no idea exactly what he's doing.

Johnny looked back to the base and looked at all of the downed and injured, and a few dead, HYDRA Agents.

Peter made it through the base and saw a dozen unfinished weapons waiting for a power source to be added on. He looked and also saw that it seems these people were working on an artificial intelligence that got Peter curious as he also took their information of all of it for later.

You never know that information might become useful.

Looking at a strange machine in the middle of the room, he saw what looked to be a cube that was glowing, looking like it's made of glass.

Walking over to it, he pulled it out and started to look around, as if he was waiting for a booby trap to suddenly go off. Seeing nothing had changed, he took a guess that nothing was going to happen.

"Well, that's a bit of a letdown." Peter had to admit, expecting something more. Tossing the cube in his hands, he looked and saw that the device appeared to have a name. "The Tesseract?"

Then his comm went off and he answered it. "Hey, Pete, where are you? It's getting cold out here."

"I'm on my way now." Peter promised as he started to leave when he sensed something was wrong and started to get ready for another fight. That's when he felt something touch his foot and looked to see a cat. "Uh...hi?" He reached down and scratched the cat's neck, causing it to purr. "What's a cat like you doing in a place like this?"

Peter then picked up the cat and turned him to face him so that he could look him in the eyes. Seeing his collar, he looked down at the name tag he saw the cat had a name: Goose.

"Huh, Goose. Cool name." Peter commented on the name and held the cat close and kept him calm by constantly scratching him. "What do ya say we get out of here?"

Making their way out, the two made it to the Quinjet where everyone was ready to go. S.H.I.E.L.D. has been informed on everything and that happened and are sending a team to arrest the HYDRA agents.

"Everyone here?" Peter asked as he placed the cat down.

"Yep, we're good to go." Jessica confirmed as she kept her son close as he babbled on about the cat.

Peter nodded and walked to the seats before taking his and the doors closed, allowing them to take off and head back to the city.

The Watcher watched as the plane left the woods and flew off, leaving the HYDRA facility behind them.

"Peter Parker didn't realize the weapon that he had just discovered from that HYDRA base that is one of the six most powerful artifacts in existence. The Infinity Stones: At the dawn of the universe, there was nothing. Then... boom. The Big Bang sent six elemental crystals hurtling across the virgin universe. These Infinity Stones each control an essential aspect of existence. Space, Reality, Power, Soul, Mind, and Time. The one that Peter had discovered was the Space stone...and an artificial intelligence that was in the works. Luckily, Peter Parker knew someone who was an expert on AI. Hank Pym."
