"Some things are never meant to happen." The Watcher commented as he was watching the people turn into chaos. "Reed Richards's destruction of STAR Labs caused them to gain the attention of Atlantis and now they have to deal with the fallout..."

Namor was swimming through the river after his fight against the Fantastic Five and was returning to his kingdom. Swimming at lightning speed, he made his way home and back to his throne in the center.

The entire city of Atlantis was all completely underwater, except for several spots filled with air for people like him. That was one of the areas that he made for, which was where his throne stood to keep himself safe.

"My lord, how did it go against the surface dwellers?" Lady Dorma, first in line for Namor's hand in marriage, asked as she came over to him.

"Hail, your majesty!" Someone else cried as they entered the throne room. This would be Krang, the king's Royal general. "My troops are on standby, ready to attack the air breathers at your command. And when we conquer the surface world, you shall rule two worlds!"

"Leave me, both of you." Namor commands of the two of them. "I need time to think."

The two of them wondered what the problem was but knew better than to question their king. They left their king alone as he was thinking of the woman that he ran into. He couldn't get her out of his head. Her beauty, her face was engraved in his head.

He needed to know more about her.

Back on the surface, Peter and the rest of his team left the kids under the care of Caitlin and HERBIE, seeing that they would be enough to keep them under control. Even seems that HERBIE has been created to help the kids control their powers and keep them safe. Peter is unsure if that was a HYDRA design or if it was a Hank input but he didn't mind anyway as it helps keep the kids safe.

HERBIE was also already downloaded with all the information to do with the kids that HYDRA already had downloaded into their files. That meant that Cisco and Caitlin could go over their notes to help Katherine and Karolina use and control their power.

"Mercury Labs is going to help the best that it can to understand what exactly happened here, Detective Watanabe," Peter reported to Yuri as he and his team, minus Ben, who was taking the night off to try and get back to civilization.

They noticed that he wasn't needed for the information that they were looking for and saw it was a good night to let him go out. Besides, it would be best for Ben to finally get back into the swing of civilization with his new form. Nowadays, people seem willing to accept Ben after saving their lives.

"Good, the last thing this city needs after everything is a war with some mermen," Yuri commented as she saw the team unloading their gear from Mercury Labs' car. "Didn't they used to work for STAR Labs?"

Peter looked to his friends and over to Yuri. "Yeah. I hired them to help the problem."

"What makes them qualified?" Yuri wondered.

"They're geniuses," Peter assured her. "One mistake that had a dozen other people in control isn't going to stop them from being smart."

They then heard something crash and looked to see it was Johnny dropping some equipment from the van. "My bad!"

Yuri seemed to be less convinced and looked to Peter as he sighed and turned back to her. "Most of them."

"A man who can breathe underwater," Bette commented as she and Cisco were working on a way to try and figure out where the guy went and is going. Accomplishing this with the help of a scanner to track underwater currents Namor caused. "Why do I feel like this isn't the weirdest thing I'm going to see?"

"It's the best way to live this life," Jennifer commented.

After they started to get to work, everyone was getting their jobs done to find out all they can. Peter and Susan were at the ocean and were taking samples to try and figure out if there was anything left in the residue from Namor's visit.

Cisco and Bette were looking over the samples they would get. And Johnny was just doing whatever he could to not get bored. Johnny was just here since he didn't want to be stuck with the kids and didn't want to go out and be stuck with Ben in a bar somewhere.

"If there is a race of water-breathing humanoids, that means they've been here for centuries," Peter commented to Sue as he collected the sample. "So, what made them come out of the woodwork now?"

Sue looked out to the ocean and had a few memories of her past with Reed before Peter's voice brought her back.

"Susan?" Peter got her attention back.

"Hm? Sorry, I was somewhere else." Sue apologized.

"No, it's okay. I'm just ranting." Peter assured her and went to get the sample.

Susan then looked out to the water and laid back. "Isn't it a beautiful night?"

Peter stopped working and looked out to the water. "Yeah, it kind of is." He then laid back and enjoyed the view. "It's nice to sit and relax a little."

"Reed never really liked to go out on nights like this," Sue commented in sorrow. "Just relax and watch the sea."

"To be fair, we aren't really doing that either," Peter admitted as he reminded them they were here to find out more about the enemy.

"That's fair. But still..." Sue said as she turned to face him. "It's nice to be here with someone like you."

"Someone who's trying to juggle ten things at once?" Peter asked.

"At least you're giving an effort," Sue stated as she leaned closer and placed her head on his shoulder. "Reed would drop everything and focus on his work."

Peter had no idea where this was going and noticed Cisco and Johnny staring at them. Waving them off to get back to work, Peter just placed a hand around her.

"Well, I was happy to see we got you and your kids out of there before he learned mind control. He would have controlled you like he's doing with Thompson." Peter commented.

"I'm happy it was you who came in to save me and the kids," Susan commented.

Sue then turned over and started to lean in to kiss Peter. Peter returned the action and started to move in closer. But before they could get too close, Johnny interrupted by shooting fire at the water and causing steam to cloud their vision. The two of them broke off and started to get out of the way of the steam. They then turned to the one that they knew was responsible and eyed him.

"Sorry." Johnny apologized with a smile. "Reflexes."

Sue scoffed at her Brother's childish games when she looked at the time and pulled her phone out. "I'm going to make a quick call to Caitlin, is that okay?"

"I'm not holding you at gunpoint," Peter answered, not wanting to make her feel like she needs to ask him for permission.

"Thanks," Sue said as she walked a short while away from the noise and made the call.

"Hello?" Caitlin asked as she picked up the phone and wondered why she would be calling at this hour.

"Sorry, I'm just worried. How are the kids doing?" Sue asked Caitlin.

"They're doing fine," Caitlin assured her as she had just put them to bed. "How's everything else?"

"You know, getting into their work," Susan commented. "Trying to"

Before she could react, someone placed their hand around her mouth, cutting her off.

"Sue?" Caitlin called, only getting muffled screams in return. "Susan!"

Peter's senses went off from down the beach and noticed Susan being grabbed and dragged into the ocean.

"Sue!" Peter cried as he and the others noticed what was happening and raced to save her.

But by the time that they reached them, their Namor character leaped into the ocean with Susan.

"We let this happen a lot," Jennifer commented in shock.

Down with Susan, she was struggling to escape Namor's grasp before she drowned in the sea. But then she realized that she was too deep to try and escape without drowning and was at his mercy.

"No need to struggle," Namor tells Susan as if that would calm her down. And then before she even knew it; a dome formed and gave her an air bubble to breathe. "Welcome to my kingdom, Susan!"

She would ask how he knew her name but then figured that he heard Caitlin or Peter calling out to her. She then looked down at the capital city as Namor led her into the kingdom.

"Is it not magnificent?" Namor asked and Susan didn't even know how she was currently hearing him underwater. "A pearl of the deepest deep. Awaiting my return in majestic silence."

She was then led to the one dry room in the entire city and was met with a throne made out of the material from the sea. There she was able to breathe as Namor placed her down on it.

"You can't get away with this," Susan stated as she crossed her arms. "My friends will come for me."

"Oh, your fire. You fascinate me." Namor stated, seriously confusing Susan. "I have never known a female like you."

"What?" Susan asked him, not sure where this was going.

"I want you to remain here, so I can get to know you better," Namor stated, and Susan feels she escaped one psychotic relationship for another. As this Royal ruler of Atlantis handed her a bouquet of coral from the sea. "You need have no fear. I mean you no harm."

"Namor, I'm..." Susan tried to pick her words carefully as she had no idea what would happen if she said the wrong thing. "...flattered by your attention." That was the only thing that she could think of without hurting his feelings. And she had no idea what this man could or would do when he was angry. "But...you can't just kidnap me and think that you can force me to love you." Then she decided to tell him something she has yet to confirm to herself how she feels. "And...I'm in love with someone else."

But all she said caused Namor to just laugh in return. "How can a mere surface dweller compare to the power of a prince?"

"Trust me, I am not interested in power." Susan scoffed, throwing the bouquet aside. "Or in you. You need to take me back."

"Never." Namor declared. "Remain here willingly or my legion shall return to the surface and lay waste to the world you love."

Susan was going to get up and pummel this needy prince to the ground but then remembered he was more powerful than her. And in this confined space, it wasn't going to help if she were to turn invisible and fight him. And with her being stuck underwater, even if she escaped him there was no way out without help.

"You have 24 hours to decide," Namor stated as he walked and leaped into the hole in the ground to lead to the ocean.

Susan started to look around and try to see if there was a way she could escape as she knew if she couldn't, there was no way out unless her friends saved her.

Back at Mercury Labs, Thompson was in his cell which was more of a quarantined laboratory with reinforced steel. Bouncing a ball of the Symbiote goo he created off the walls when everyone else came home.

"So Namor just kidnapped Susan?" Caitlin asks.

"Yeah, which means that he has the whole ocean to hide her in." Peter scoffed and was getting ready to punch someone or something.

"Fear not, my friends!" Cisco cheered as he walked through the room and made his way over to the computers. "For I foresaw a day like this coming!"

"What?" Bette asked, wanting him to explain that further.

"After Sue had her whole...evil moment, I thought it would be best if we had everyone's location at all times," Cisco said as he pulled up a screen that looked like a GPS. Followed by that were a few symbols appearing on the left in a lineup. "So, I put trackers on all of your suits."

"You did what?" Jennifer asked, crossing her arms.

"Oh, come on, tell me it's wrong when I'm able to locate Sue who's been kidnapped by a merman." Cisco defended his actions.

"Pretty sure that was her childhood dream." Johnny scoffed and only got stares from everyone else.

"That's not really funny right now," Peter stated.

"Oh, come on!" Johnny complains. "This guy isn't going to go through all this trouble to capture Sue to kill her."

"What do we do even if he does discover where she is?" Bette asks. "We can't breathe underwater."

"Well, it's a good thing Mercury Labs has an aquatic studies branch," Peter informed them with a smile while getting ready to make a few calls. "Get us a location, I'll get us a ride."

"What about him?" Cisco asked as he gestured to Flash.

"Are you getting anywhere getting him free of Reed's mind control?"

"I have a few samples of gas meant to free him of Reed's control, but I have to wait for them to finish before trying them," Caitlin answered as she looked over at him. "But I think he's planning something."

"Okay, to be safe, Jennifer, why don't you and Johnny stay here to keep him under control?" Peter asked them.

"Oh, no, no, no," Johnny stated as he walked over to Peter. "You aren't doing that to me."

"What?" Peter asked, not following.

"You want me to stay here so you can go and rescue my sister on your own, getting her to see you in a better light." Johnny accused Peter, getting confused looks from everyone.

"You do know that I was gonna take Bette and rescue her, right?" Peter asked, looking over to Bette, who was looking just as confused as the rest of them. "Also, did you forget that your powers don't work underwater?"

"Oh," Johnny said in surprise. "Right."

"Seriously, Johnny, you could say you're worried for your sister or something." Peter rolled his eyes. "You think I'm trying to save your sister just to get her attention?"

"Yeah, he already got plenty of that at the beach," Cisco commented.

Peter cleared his throat, seeing they have other things to focus on right now rather than his relationship with Susan. Like maybe rescuing Susan from the psycho merman who kidnapped her.

"Find her," Peter demanded, walking off to get them a ride. He had just gotten Sue back, and he wasn't going to let some Atlantis guy show up and sweep her off her feet.
