Prompt: A Freaky Friday Flip event happens (body swap), hillarity ensues, and chaos spread.

AN: Hey, look. My first ever winning prompt.

Vei was slowly waking up as someone knocked on the door. She grumbled as she tried to shift herself into a more comfortable position. "Sorry for intruding, but this is urgent." came from one of the grovyle as far as she could hear, as the guest walked in. "Okay, this will sound like a weird question but, you feeling sore, Sear?" he continued.

"Not sore… no…?" Vei opened her eyes, Sear sounded different yet really familiar. "But I feel as strange as I… sound…" Vei looked towards her partner and her eyes widened as did his. She was looking at herself. "Why am I…?" Her mirror image asked before looking over itself. "Wait? I'm VEI?!"

"Summers, what is happening?" Vei asked, noticing her own different yet familiar voice. "And am I Sear?" she asked as a wild guess.

"Yeah, but please don't panic. Enough of the others are, and we need your Commanding Mamma yell asap!" the grovyle said as he picked Vei up.

"Let me walk myself!" Vei demanded, and the grass type obliged. "So, where am I needed, Summers?"

"At the central square. Us time traveling explorers have managed to herd them there. Also, I'm Blaze, not Summers." the grovyle replied as he left the housing.

"WHAT?!" came from Sear, wobbling out of bed, slightly off balance due to his now longer legs.

"You seem to take this rather calmly." Vei stated to Blaze as she, or rather, he, awkwardly ran up to her? Him?

"Well, Aether really likes to swap me and Summers back home every so often, so we have gotten kinda used to it." He said matter of factly.

"Excuse mearrgh!" said Sear as she tripped over her new legs. "Who?"

"Manaphy, our adopted son."

"YOUR WHAT?!"

'Blaze is a mom, Blaze is a mom, Blaze is a mom, Blaze is a-' 'Thud'. Vei returned to reality as he hit the back of the grovyle's leg. The grovyle looked down at him. "Sorry."

"Is it really that mind boggling?" he asked, smirking in a way that removed any doubt that it could be anyone other than Blazewind operating that body.

"Can you also read minds?"

"Don't have to. It was written all over your face. So, Commander Mamma time." he said as he gestured to the plaza, in which Twine was entangled in his own vines and Maho desperately trying to free him, Miriam the Murkrow awkwardly flapping her black wings as Serah the Arbok was moving around as if she attempted to do the worm.

Robin the Decidueye was holding an entangled Ari, as the dragonair had tied herself in a knot. Aaron the Aggron was stomping around in a panic, as Joshua the Dewott was directing a stiff moving Axelia as if she was a truck rather than a haxorus.

"Before you ask, yes, they have all swapped bodies with their partners. The ones who seemingly haven't swapped are those who were brought in from when there was a portal for everyone and we could bring guests."

"So you mean Flora's pokemon and Aaron's… Well, let's stop this problem." Vei said as he stepped forward and took a deep breath. "EVERYONE, CALM! THE FUCK! DOWN!" Despite not having his own voice, his yell still oozed authority as everyone stopped whatever they were doing. Though, something didn't feel right with that yell and he knew what. Everyone was looking at him, having reached the same conclusion.

"Did… Sear just swear?" came from Maho, or Twine, rather.

"So they swapped as well?" Ari said in Robin's body. "Have we all swapped then?"

There was a murmur of an agreement to Ari's question.

"So, that is Vei in there." commented Axelia.

"But still, that was Sear swearing." Joshua followed.

"Vei, I know it was necessary, but now my voice has been soiled by that word." Sear said in shock.

"Trust me… It sounded as wrong to me as it did to you." Vei replied. "Anyway, let's get some order in here."

"So, you mentioned some games we could play?" Vei asked Sear as the explorers tried to gather everyone who had been swapped to the plaza for some quick exercises to get accustomed to their new bodies.

"It is effectively just an extension of the exercises. Games which pokemon, no matter the body shape can participate in."

"Can you tell me the rules?"

"Let us pokemon handle that."

"Wait, not me doing some management? Sign me up!" Vei looked across the plaza, watching one of the Summers in a ninetales body rush across showing no signs associated with the body dissonance which most in the plaza was experiencing. Not long after the other Summers came running up, tails standing on end.

"So… Yeah… August and Grace… They… They will handle it… their own way." Summers said, the female voice from the body enhancing how flustered she sounded.

"Meaning?" asked Vei.

"They are doing an… intimate inspection of their bodies."

"Oh." Vei replied, before realizing what Summers had said, his face turning red. "Oh… Ooooooh."

"I say, if we are to handle small Ralts as well…" Sear sighed.

"They have been good at avoiding that up until now." Summers replied.

"Aah… Good for them, I guess" Sear said as the rest of the swap victims appeared. "Well, we are in your hands, Summers."

"If so, you have to take that up with Blair." she laughed.

"How often has that Manaphy of yours swapped you guys?"

Inside the 'dining hall converted into storage room' within the Wigglytuff Guild replica, a pair of grovyle and ninetales scour the crates for things to use for the spontaneous party everyone had agreed upon, to further relax them during this situation and getting more comfortable with the situation in case it would last a long time.

"And so Summers burned the hariyama all the way out the cave, and the little sunshine was just laughing all the way." Blair finished the story, a wide smile on the grovyle's face.

"They really are a delight to bring with." Blaze said, pulling out some folding chairs. "We had a similar situation in which some male nidoran taunted a rather shy vulpix about how boys were stronger and would never lose to a girl. Before I knew it, I was in that vulpix body and proceeded to teach him a lesson, before telling the swap maestro to apologize for the sudden switch."

"Impulsive like their mother, I hear." came from Spike as the Blaziken entered the room.

"What, and yours isn't?" asked one of the Summers.

"I never said that." the fire type replied, heading straight for a box and opened it. "How many tables do we need?"

"At least three of the large ones." came from Talon as the lucario poked his head inside. "Woah… Why is Blazewind's aura so funky? Like… wait…" He squints his eyes.

"HEY! Don't peek into someone's life energy like that." Blaze turned his shoulder and crossed his arms over his chest, as if to protect himself. "There is sensitive information in there!" he said defensively.

"Sorry, it's just that it sometimes flickers for me. But seriously, reading it, why does the aura imply a male presence?"

"See, Spike, that is why I like you more. You saw this and realized that it was none of your business and didn't even start this topic." Blaze wanted out.

"So you don't want to-"

"NO!" yelled both Blaze and their partner.

"Geeze Talon, read the room." said Blair as he handed the lucario a box containing a grill.

"Sorry, sorry. So, you were talking about Manaphy?" Talon asked, trying to avoid embarrassing themselves even more.

"Yeah. Really should have brought Aether up earlier. You should have seen the look on Vei. Priceless." Blaze snickered.

"You called him Aether? We called ours Torrent. As in, the waterflow, not the ability." the 'Blair' Summers said.

"Yeah. Named him after another phenomenon which many fictional stories, in my world at least, use for magic, like mana." Blaze said proudly.

"Oh, yours are boys?" Spike said as she pulled out one of the tables. "Ours' a girl who we called Mifi."

"If she is just half as cute as her name is, I am going to tear down the walls of reality to have Aether meet her." the 'Blaze' Summers blurted out.

"It would be so adorable!" Blaze followed with a squee.

"I would say she is even cuter than her name is… when she isn't swapping us around because she is bored." Talon said.

"Oh, yours does that too." Blair mumbled.

Talon seemed to perk up. "Oho, let me tell you guys a story!"

"I should have believed you when you said that it felt this good." Maho said as he slid his borrowed leafy hand up his real body's side, fur sliding past his 'fingers', ruffling them at the shoulder. "How can it feel even softer than when I'm doing it myself?" Twine just chuckled at her partner's amasement. "I thought you were exaggerating to make me feel better. I was wrong!"

"Well, at least you have realized it." Twine said as her head was getting ruffled by the leaves. "I could sit here, having you just keep doing that forever."

"Yeah you would." Maho said slyly as he hugged his partner tightly. "But then you wouldn't get a taste of this, so remember what I'm about to do, because I expect perfection when, or if, we return to our normal selves." He let go of his partner and grabbed as best he could around the tail.

"Gah!" Twine shot up.

"That was just the start." Maho giggled and started slowly moving the leafy hands up the tail, ruffling the fur in a specific pattern until he reached the tip, let go and returned the grip to the base and repeated the process.

"You know what… Screw the party and let us just do this till bedtime." Twine tilted over, now lying on her side.

"I would agree, but I want to see you trying to drink in MY body." Maho laughed maniacally.

"Do… 'gulp' Do I have a choice?"

"Nope." Maho replied with a smile.

All across Hub Town, the denizens were getting used to their current predicament, though it did confuse the Silvally duo when they finally showed up.

Inside one of the huts on the outskirts, Sear and Vei were taking a nap together to gather energy for the party, snuggled together, enjoying the other's touch.

A little light flew away from the window and dissipated, its creator having seen enough, for now.

"Didn't think they would react to it that well. Them deciding to take this strange phenomenon to relax is not unexpected, although how fast they chose to do that is. But they need not worry, they will return to their normal selves in two days time. Better have the system tell them that it is only temporary. Tomorrow would be fine I think. But for now, rest up my heroes, and enjoy the next few days of peace. I have a feeling that the final battle is approaching and I need you in top shape if I want my revenge." Arceus flew through an opening into his own domain, tracing for the Cloaked Ones and the Professor once more. "I almost have you, and you will pay for what you have done!"

AN: Sear does swear, just rarely, but he never uses the f-word.

u/Bonehead did ask if I could imagine a bunch of manaphy running around swapping people regularly. And I mean, yeah, while not responsible for THIS mass swapping, this might as well have been the aftermath of a manaphy stampede.

Also, Talon being accidentally insensitive.
