Chapter 2 - Meeting Ragnok
When Harry arrived at the bank. His insides felt all mixed up as he suppressed the urge to be ill.
"Ahh Mr.Potter!" An old looking goblin said from behind the high desk that stood pride of place in the room.
"Hello…Ragnok" he said after looking at the golden nameplate that was placed on the desks surface.
"Thank you Mr.Potter. Now I have called you here to discuss your inheritance" Ragnok said with a warm toothy smile. Or what he thought was a smile.
"That's what the letter said but I wasn't aware that I had an inheritance" Harry said unsure
"Mr.Potter you do not know of your families history!?!" Ragnok said scandalised
"I'm sorry no" Harry said sadly
"My my" Ragnok said "Well this makes today much longer"
"Mr.Potter your family is an old family. One of the oldest in Britain or possibly the world if I'm not mistaken."
"Are you sure?" Harry said. He really had no idea what Ragnok was talking about
"I think we best do a blood test" Ragnok said calmly before summoning the required dagger and parchment. "Simply use this dagger to slice your palm. Then place the cut hand on the parchment. Bloody side down. It shall glow gold when done" Ragnok said and handed him the dagger. Harry hissed in pain as he cut a large slice into his palm before placing it on the parchment. It felt like an unknown force was pulling at his blood forcing it on the paper. The feeling stopped suddenly though when the paper glowed Gold. A small band of the golden glow wrapped around his hand and healed the cut. Ragnok passed the parchment to Harry.
Harry's eyes followed the small, elegant scroll on the parchment following all the connections. Those by marriage and those by blood. His eyes widened as he saw some rather highly recognised people in history like Godric Griffindor! Silently still numb in shock he passed it towards Ragnok.
"My thoughts were correct" Ragnok stated "Your family as you see has a long history of producing some of the most recognised wizards and witches in history"
"Ragnok" Harry begun "Some people on there like William have bolder lines in a slightly different colour but their is no pattern what is that?" He asked
"I'm impressed you saw that Mr.Potter. The Potter family has a LONGGGG history of producing Mages. Mages are people with a higher magical core thus some of the most powerful wizards or witches - Gender doesn't matter - ever to live." Ragnok explained to him happily.
"Oh" Harry said in awe, leaning deeper into his chair.
"This Mr.Potter" he begun
"Harry" he suddenly interrupted Ragnok looked at him "my name is Harry. Mr.Potter feels too formal" he explained to Ragnok which made Ragnok smile
"Harry" Ragnok said "The Potter family is an immensely old family and an immensely wealthy family. They are however a very different family. You see most families that are old either have old views on blood purity or use controversial means to amass a large amount of money. Meanwhile your's have never looked down on others and have never unnecessarily spilled blood. All the money they have was gathered in honourable ways or by careful funding and purchases." Ragnok explained "shall we proceed?"
"Okay" Harry said quietly still processing the fact that supposedly he was rich.
"Okay so we've done the blood test so now we shall do the inheritance test. This process is much the same but you just need to drop 3 drops of blood onto this parchment" Ragnok said at the same time as conjuring a parchment in a mild green colour. Harry did as asked and his hand healed in the same fashion as before just with a green glowing band instead of gold.

Harry stared down at the parchment in shock frozen in place. He was broken out by Ragnok asking to see so he handed it over. Patting himself inwardly for the fact you couldn't see his shaking hands.
Ragnok read it over twice for good measure "Well Harry seems we underestimated how ancient your family is. We have a lot of lordships for you to claim so we'd better begin. How about you sign this so we can re-activate the older vaults some have been sealed for centuries" Ragnok said handing him yet another piece of parchment. Harry carefully read over the words and when satisfied he signed on the line.
"Right before you can accept we must do your abilities test" Ragnok said and he repeated the process once more

Harry nodded and Ragnok handed him many small black box's with differing crests on top. A sudden flash of thought meant he knew just how to claim each lordships and other duties. When each ring accepted him a coloured glow came from the ring and entered him in the house colours. However when he put on the potter ring a Black Gook came out of his scar screaming before simply crumbling.
"It is a pleasure to meet you Lord Potter - Pervell - Gryffindor - Ravenclaw - Huffelpuff - Slytherin - Flamel and heir Black." Ragnok said with a large toothy grin
"Same here Master Ragnok" Harry said reciprocating the smile. "Master Ragnok I feel more knowledgable is that normal?" He asked a moment later
"Plenty normal" Ragnok told him "it is remarkable that the rings passed in their knowledge so quickly. They must strongly approve of you being the lord" Ragnok explained. "I think it's best that you rent a room at the leaky cauldron so we may finish this discussion tomorrow it is late" Ragnok then said a quick glance at the clock showed it was indeed late. Harry quickly agreed and the meeting was adorned for now.
