Story Start!
"... and then Rias... Bunchou... revived me."
"Nice life story you had there, not that it means anything now, but I'm happy that you were loved by your peers... while it lasted. Did you ever learn the name of the devil you healed?" Naruto asked Asia, they were just sitting on a park bench, waiting for the client to show up and complete their contract.
"No, I didn't."
"... Ah..." Naruto had a feeling that was going to become an issue in the future. "... What was a Devil doing at the Vatican?" Naruto wondered out loud.
"I don't know."
"... Seems like a set-up... apparently it can risk sparking war for a devil to go to holy grounds... and he just so happened to run across you... in the perfect position for you to heal him, and get you banished." Naruto had to wonder about that strange amount of bad luck, and if it was actually luck that caused it to happen. Asia's story on her life just had some huge black spots on it that he couldn't help but want to explain.
"It seems very unlucky... but I got to meet all of you... so... I guess the pain was worth it."
"Ouch... my blood pressure... and that was super..." Naruto didn't want to explain the words, and how that was such a huge flashback to all the times he said similar words. From the time he was 12 until his death, he always protected his friends and family for the reason that they saved him from his loneliness. The sentiment was exactly the same. Asia was thankful for her pain, because it brought her friends.
You see the best, after you experience the worst, and while she didn't experience the worst, she was able to see new bright sides.
"So tell me about your life."
"... I lived, I died, I became a ghost... I spent 3 months with a dhampire boy, as he was dying I took over his body to try and save him... and now this is my body... and Gasper is in my shadow." Naruto summarized it in the most simple terms possible. "... by the way, this contract is about to go down south... it's about to get about three layers of horrible." Naruto was not a pessimist, but for the client to make them wait this long for whatever reason was giving him really bad vibes.
Asia just gave him the look of a confused puppy.
"Didn't she just want us to walk her dog for her... a very energetic dog?"
"I bet she IS the dog, and she has a hunger for devils... she is going to get here, and then she is going to turn into a dog... and boom... we fail the contract because we killed her." Naruto predicted how it was going to go.
-20 Minutes Later-
"Well... I was half wrong..."
"EEP!" Asia screamed when a large two headed dog pulled her along on it's leash, nearly dragging her to the ground as she tried to keep control of the beast. She was taking it on a walk, but she had no control over it at all. It was twice the size of a normal dog, with twice the number of heads.
By the way, Naruto was in between the jaws of an even larger dog... that was swinging him around wildly. He was being used as a chew toy, though it only bit him softly and shook him around.
"I can just never control these two... I'm part of a Beast-taming clan... I specialize in mythical dogs... but they just never seem to obey. Are you going to be okay?" The client asked as she looked at Naruto with serious concern.
He was right between sharp fangs.
"I'll be fine... Asia-" Naruto turned into shadows and escaped the jaws of doom, before he appeared next to her and grabbed onto her hands. He helped her, and the two of them pulled the dog back into place. "-... at least it isn't trying to eat you." Naruto was tackled to the ground, an Asia was instantly being pulled by the dog again when it realized there was only a small girl holding his leash.
*Lick*
"If your dog starts humping me, I kill it!"
"... Do NOT hump that boy!" The woman didn't want her dogs dead. She watched as Naruto got onto the dog's back, and wrapped his legs around it's waist.
It started to run.
Just run.
"Eep!" Asia was yanked off of her feet when the dog she was leashing chased after the dog that Naruto was riding. They went far into the forest, chasing each other, the two dogs enjoying because in their true forms for once. "... Naruto... my arms..." Asia had shadows wrap around her waist as she was pulled out of the air, and landed in front of Naruto on the dog.
He wrapped his arms around her.
He kept a hold on the leash, and it wasn't long before the dogs started to tire themselves out a little from their playing. Asia got off the dog when it went calm, and started to fix her clothes that had been thrown into chaos.
They were deep in the middle of the forest.
"What is that light?" Asia asked.
Naruto paused and looked at it.
"... Everything in me is saying we should NOT go and check that out. Lets go check it out."
-In the Morning-
"... So... let me repeat this back to you, just to make sure I understand it all." Rias didn't know which part of the story that she got told was the most unbelievable. The start, the middle, of the ending of it all. "... and what is wrong with Asia?" Rias asked when she looked at the girl.
Asia seemed VERY conflicted about something as she looked between Issei and Naruto, as if she didn't know what she should be feeling or expressing.
"We were walking the clients dogs... which were an Orthrus Ceberus."
"You were walking demon dogs for a human client, and after riding on their back all the way... about 3 cities away... you uncovered a terrorist plot to spark a war between Youkai and Devils."
"Big war." Naruto explained with his arms wide.
"Where they were researching on making Half-Devil, Half-Nue hybrids that they planned on unleashing on Tokyo." Rias explained the terrorist plot. She had never heard of it, and she didn't even know who the group was. She just expected it was one of those groups that popped up all the time, that the church ended up taking care of for them. "Big war... you just so happened to stumble on their base... by complete chance."
"Is Asia okay?" Issei interjected with the story when he looked at Asia.
"She watched me die a couple of times to protect her, and then I saved her life and chastity when she got captured by the terrorists."
"What!?"
"I'm okay Issei, nothing happened... all I got was a scratch. Naruto was hurt way worse than I was."
"I got eaten alive by one of the hybrids." Naruto explained why he hadn't been able to protect Asia from getting captured at the time. He had to fight his way out of a stomach, before he could rescue Asia.
"You got EATEN alive?!" Rias asked in horror.
She didn't hear THAT part of the story.
"Don't worry, happens all the time... so, I busted by way out and saw them about to rape Asia, so of course I knocked them all out and saved her. At this point, they had about... 30 or so Devil Nues ready to unleash... and the leader unleashed them all... at this point, 80% of his terrorist group had been knocked out." Naruto made sure to mention they were knocked out.
They were dead.
All of them were dead, but he told Asia that he knocked them out and when she checked for a pulse, he manipulated their blood to make it sound like their hearts were beating. He didn't want her to come out of it completely horrified, but as an evil terrorist group that had tried to rape her, he didn't feel that they needed to be alive.
"And... you somehow took control of all the Nue and made them... how did you take control of them?" Rias was just... shocked at how dog walking turned into THIS.
"You see... the Devil-Nue that ATE me, was the ALPHA, and it had an organ in it's chest that I ate when I was eating my way out. Since that organ was inside of me, that made me the new Alpha of the group..." Naruto was explaining the most insane thing. He got extremely lucky that he ended up swallowing the organ when he was eating his way out of the Devil-Nue that ate him.
"You ate your way out..." Koneko muttered as she stared at Naruto.
A hard stare.
"You ATE your way out?" Yuuto was just was... unsure of what to feel about hearing that piece of information.
"Yeah, and there was this BIG battle... The leader of the group, he was just killing his creations left and right... and then he gathered all of their remains with his special power, and transformed them into a giant humanoid Devil-Nue, and fused with it." Rias explained the next part of the story. It sounded like a situation where the final boss of an anime movie was losing the fight, so he combined with everything around him for a huge boost in power. "How did you win again... you left that part out."
"He was way too strong to beat, I didn't have any techniques... but then something amazing happened. Asia was trying to pray for the souls of the devil-nue... and their spirits reacted to her attempted prayers... they hated what was being done with their flesh."
"... They were so sad." Asia could still remember their sorrow.
"So... what?"
"They fused their souls together, and transferred all their energy to me... and from the brink of failure, I gained the ability to transform into my One-Time-Only form, the S.N.V. Form... and since Asia was praying, the enemy that was part devil... it weakened enough to show where it's core was... so with Asia praying on my back, and enhanced by the power of the fallen Devil-Nue, I resumed the battle and finished it with one final blow... The Spiral Nue Blast." Naruto did a punching motion.
"What?"
"... When I felt all their anger, their rage... their need for justice, I unleashed it in one big, super attack that used up the energy they gave me. I destroyed the core of the enhanced terrorist leader... and all of the souls unfused from me, their anger calmed by the defeat of the one who abused them." Naruto explained on why he didn't have his temporary, one time only, transformation and attack.
"That... what?" Rias still didn't know what to make of that.
"It was... beautiful... watching their ghosts leave his body... and to see how thankful for they were. He... he was so calm... and he cried for them."
"I did not cry... I just got punched in the nose and my eyes were watering." Naruto denied the fact that when the ghosts were saying their goodbyes before vanishing, they bowed to him and thanked him. It was just such a touching moment, it was hard NOT to cry for the beings who fused to him, letting him borrow their power. "... Asia here was the biggest key to winning... if it weren't for her, things could have gotten dicey." Naruto rubbed the top of Asia's head.
She blushed a little, looking slightly guilty, but also enjoying the attention.
"This started... with dog walking?"
"Yes."
"Then you found a terrorist group."
"Also yes."
"Before it ended with you fighting some huge, super monster in a movie-like final battle."
"That is what happened."
"... You walked a dog, and somehow ended up stopping some terrorist plot to stop a war, that would possibly end it all?" Rias summarized the insanity that she was hearing once more, because no matter how many times she went over it.
"It was very cinematic... I honestly feel sorry that none of you got to see it. Oh, your brother was there near the end to... he showed up AFTER everything had happened. He set up a teleport circle, and told us we could use it to come back here... by the way... we ALSO completed the contract to walk the clients dogs." Naruto handed Rias a completed contract, since that was the important part of why they went out in the first place.
"Dog walking... and then terrorist plot destruction."
"I TOLD you I didn't want to do devil contracts... this type of stuff almost always ends with me saving the world, or saving a country... stopping terrorist groups... and like 90% of the time some girl falls in love with me... I warned you this could happen." Naruto felt VERY vindicated in his desire to NOT do any contracts.
Rias just... shut down.
