Story Start!

"Why did you show up so early?"

Naruto was 30 minutes early for the date, something that confused Gasper enough to question it. They were meeting at a park, and that would be when the date itself started according to purely meeting time.

"Because a date doesn't start when it starts, a date starts long before you actually meet up..." Naruto wore very casual fitting clothes, nothing sexy or that showed anything off. An extremely loose fitting black hoodie with the top half unzipped, and burnt orange shorts with a striped red and brown belt on, finally he ended the look with flip flops.

He was also carrying a bag in his hand.

"... Uh... the date starts... when you meet right?"

"Heh, nope... and I arrived 30 minutes early because... yep... here she comes." Naruto could see the fashionably dressed Asia, must have gotten help from Rias or Akeno because she looked both sexy and uncomfortable. She attracted stares to her cleavage and her thighs to say the least, which made Naruto glad that he had figured this might happen. "Asia, over here."

"Oh... am I late?" Asia looked at the watch dangling from her wrist in concern, before she blinked when she saw that she was nearly 30 minutes early. Her plan was to come early so that she didn't take the chance on being late at all. She looked at Naruto with confusion, before he passed her the bag in his hand, getting her more confused. "These are..."

"Bathroom is that way." Naruto gestured to the public restroom.

5 minutes later, Asia got out of the bathroom, wearing her usual nun clothes, though without the head piece, looking much more comfortable than before. She had the bag with the clothes she wore to the date neatly packed inside, and she gave it back to Naruto. He dropped them to the ground and they went into his shadow for storage.

"Thank you."

"No problem, I picked them up because I figured you would have more fun if you were comfortable... it's a date Asia, don't worry about being so fancy on the first one... come on." Naruto grabbed her by the hand, and intertwined his fingers to hers. He took control and started to walk, pulling her by his side.

She stared at their hands as more color came to her face.

"So... are we going to the mall... or the arcade... or a clothes store...?" Asia asked, since when she went on a 'date' with Issei, he took her to those types of places. She had fun on that date, and she really wanted to see what type of date she was about to go on. She had her very first burger on that date, so she couldn't help but wonder what she would do of her firsts on this date.

Naruto looked at her with a twinkle, a glimmer, of amusement to his eyes.

He didn't say a word.

-Later-

"Tadaaa... here we go, we're here." Naruto told her when they got done walking, after taking a train, after they had walked for 30 minutes to the station. They had walked a trail, which explained why he made sure she wore comfortable clothes with and packed her thicker shoes. They walked a forest trail, and ended up at a small pond.

"It's so beautiful... but I don't have a swimsuit."

She wished she had known.

*SPLASH*

No swimsuit, Naruto just jumped into the pond with his clothes on, and he laughed when his head came out from above the water. He spat out a mouthful of water, and just grinned at Asia with his smile becoming cheeky. Asia sat down at the edge of the water, and removed her boots, before lowering his legs into the water.

"... This place is really pretty, and the water is so... cool." Asia felt a chill against her feet, she looked at the source of the pond, a small trickling waterfall, and saw it exit into a stream that left the pond. She could even see the fish in the water, and some deer on the other side of the pond. She was treated to a very beautiful sight, and they were far enough away that she couldn't hear any city noise at all. "When did you find this place?" Asia asked Naruto, before she saw he was under the water again.

He just floated near the bottom of the pond, holding his breath and staring at her, fish swimming around him like he wasn't even there.

"Heheheh." Asia giggled, wiggling her toes when a fish swam by them, and she scared off the small fish that had been around her feet. Naruto came out of the water and sat next to her, dripping from head to toe with water.

"Swimsuits are for beaches and pools... ponds like these are for underwear, clothes, or skinny dipping... makes it way more fun... wanna try jumping off the waterfall, and into the water?" Naruto looked at the deepest part of the water. Asia smiled at him, and looked at how high up the waterfall was... about a 15 foot drop, so not too terribly high.

"What is skinny dipping?"

"Swimming naked... I don't suggest that on a first date, but hiking a forest trail to a pond... excellent first date." Naruto gave her a thumbs up. He went to the waterfall, flying up to the top, before he jumped over the edge, back into the water. He splashed water all over Asia, getting a loud yelp from her.

The water was a lot colder when you weren't expecting to get splashed with it.

"Heh... hahah." Asia laughed when Naruto came back up for water, but he had a fish inside of his hoodie that jumped out and slapped his feet with it's tail.

"Come here you little meal!"

Asia laughed harder when Naruto swam after the fish, scaring it further away.

*SPLASH*

Asia jumped into the water and decided to join Naruto, wanting to join him. She came up for a breath quickly.

They swam for another few hours, before a tired Asia got out of the water and started to dry herself off. Her stomach was telling her that it was about time for them to eat something, but she was sopping wet, and starting to feel cold.

*FWOOSH*

"Heheh." Naruto chuckled at her when she turned around, and saw a roaring fire was between them. He rubbed the back of his head, before she sat down on a fallen log and enjoyed the warmth of the fire. "Lunch time." Naruto stated as he reached into his shadow, and pulled out a basket with grapes, apples, and banana inside of it.

Nothing that required cooking at all, but it seemed appetizing to Asia as she got closer to the basket and took an apple for herself.

'... This is so much fun...'

"So... did this help you clear your mind a little?" Naruto asked Asia with a smile. She tilted her head and blinked, confused to what he was talking about, before realization hit her like a brick. He grinned at her.

She had been worried.

She hadn't been worried about her conflicted feelings for the entire date, because she spent most of the date wondering where he was taking her, and then the next part of the date having fun. It was like a weight that had been torturing her for awhile had been lifted for awhile, but she felt that it was... not as bad as before when it came back.

"Issei tells me I should have fun."

"He's right, you should be having fun on a date. When it comes to love, if you look deep down, you will always find the answer... eventually. So don't worry about it too much, have fun... fall in love, and if you get hurt, get back up and fall in love again... so don't worry about... you'll have your answer if you keep having fun." Naruto gave her a simple lecture to help ease her worries.

She had questions, but they stopped in her throat.

"I feel like-"

"Don't worry about that right now... just have fun."

"... I feel like I'm cheating on Issei... it... I'm mad... I'm mad at Issei... but he seemed happy about this... and I want to make him happy... why couldn't he tell I was mad?" Asia pouted at him. She came to Issei and told him, she was upfront about her conflicting feelings, but instead of get angry at her or get protective, he pushed for it. He acted lustful, when what she really wanted was for him to hold her and tell her that he would stay by her side.

Naruto couldn't answer that easily.

"... Why were you mad?"

"I don't know... I just was, but I felt bad for being mad. I was more mad with myself... I guess... have you ever felt that way?"

"Yep." Naruto didn't go into more detail about it, but he knew exactly the feeling.

"... I was angrier at myself than him... because when he pushed me towards this... I felt myself... it was like I was seeing him in a new light... I felt... disappointed." Asia explored her feelings, and tried to explain more on why she was mad. "... but I don't want that."

"Why?"

"Because, when I felt disappointed in him... it felt like... I felt like I loved him less. I love him, but..."

"You felt like you were REALLY seeing him for the first time, and it hurt... whenever you look at Issei before, you looked at him like a hero... he was the guy who saved you from being alone. You felt thankful for him being there... and he was always considerate towards you... this was the first time where you felt his lust was stronger than his love... and it hurt." Naruto explained for her, since he was trying to find the words that she had trouble finding. He could see that she KNEW what she was feeling, but she wasn't good at actually saying it.

She stared at him and nodded.

"... It hurts."

"You put him on a pedestal... that is the problem, isn't it... now you realize that the way you loved him was... shallow. You feel mad at yourself, because you felt yourself thinking less of Issei, while falling in love with another man... was I ever really in love... is this even love?" Naruto was putting her thoughts into words, and she listened with rapt attention. She didn't even blink, because his words resonated with her.

He was describing her feelings to the letter.

"Yeah."

"It takes work to stay in love... you don't just fall in love, and stay in love forever with no work or effort. It's give and take... you feel neglected by Issei, and guilty that you didn't work harder... but now you can't deny it... you hate yourself, but you've already accepted it..."

"What should I do?"

"Try and make it work... I think you should give Issei another chance. Imagine him... look at him again... now that you don't see him as a hero... think back on everything... do you love him."

"I do." She answered without needing to think. "He's important to me... he's my friend, and he saved my life... he's important to me." Asia repeated that line once more when it struck a cord in her. She looked at Naruto, before she smiled softly, before it turned into a frown.

"... Then give him another chance... try and make it work... because honestly... you're a cute girl, you could get any guy you want... you shouldn't pick a guy with a harem like me, or a guy who wants a harem like Issei... go out there, and... just have fun." Naruto gave her the best advice that he could.

"... You... don't want me?"

"I don't deserve you... you should be with a guy who deserves you. If you dated me, I couldn't give all my heart to you... my heart would be divided... and Issei doesn't want to give all his heart to you. Neither of us deserve you giving all your heart to us."

"... You have a harem?"

"... I'm weak when it comes to love... it's a flaw of mine. Asia... if a girl looks at me, and she tells me she loves me... and she means it from the bottom of her heart... I couldn't turn her away. My heart-" Naruto pat his chest several times. "... my heart would give love to her to. If her confession moved my heart even slightly... I wouldn't be able to turn her away. I can only turn away people, if I think they are lying to me... it is my flaw." Naruto explained to her.

Asia felt her heart throb.

Naruto laughed a little.

"You are a good person Asia, and I WANT you to be happy, with the person who would make you happiest. I don't think either me, or Issei, would be that person."

"I do though."

"You do?" Naruto asked her, and he saw her crawling towards him, keeping eye contract, before she sat right next to him. She looked less confused, and her blush seemed lighter. There was conviction in her eyes.

"... You're shining even brighter."

"What?" Naruto asked her, and she frowned in thought.

"... Rose colored glasses?" Asia didn't know if she was using that right. "... Issei saved me, and when I looked at him it with with rose colored glasses... and when I took them off... I was disappointed he didn't shine to me... your words made me look at you different too." Asia felt Naruto's words resonate with her differently, better. The way he seemed to want her to be happy, that her happiness was his first concern was similar.

Issei didn't shame her for her desire, when she felt love and lust for another man.

Now she was confessing the same thing, but she felt the sentiment was different. When Issei told her to pursue her feelings, she felt like the meaning behind what he wanted was different.

"Okay?"

"You... I pick you..."

"Asia... you won't be the only one... and there may be more in the future. I think, I REALLY think, you should devote yourself to a man who can give you all his heart."

"I know... I should... I should, but I don't want to... I want to try and make things work... with you... even if I'm not the only one."

"Asia."

"With you." Asia repeated as she grabbed his hands. "... You can't just push me off... the more you push me away, the more I want you."

"... Okay then." Naruto stopped trying, because he saw determination forming in her spirit. She wasn't going to give up easily, so it would take some serious work for him to get her to fall for somebody else. "Welcome to the harem... I'm Naruto, and I guess I'll be your lover. You are welcome to fall in love with somebody else and leave me at any time." Naruto told her with a grin.

She shook her head.

"... this time, I'm going to work for it. I'm not going to let myself do this again, like I did with Issei... I'm going to work hard to be happy, make you happy, and stay in love with you. That is what you taught me." Asia used his own words against him.

Naruto closed his eyes and took a deep breath.

Fuck.

'I wanted to convince her to either give Issei another chance, or stop loving both of us... guess... how did I shoot myself in the foot AGAIN... seriously... damnit, I knew I should have picked a date that was boring.' Naruto hated himself for this. He grew his harem AGAIN, and this time she confessed to him in a way he couldn't turn her down.

Why?

Why did he have to reject the idea of taking her on a boring date and neglecting her?

Why did he HAVE to show her a good date, and give her emotional advice?

"... Because... Asia... what are you doing?"

"Skinny dipping."

"... Holy... that is... nice." Naruto looked at the sight he was seeing, before Asia jumped into the water. "Why?"

"Because... you said was was fun, even if it wasn't first date stuff... I wanted to try it... do you want to try it?"

-Later-

"... Where are our clothes?"

"... I think they got stolen... shit... well... this is going to be awkward." Naruto covered his crotch with a hand, while looking around for anything. Asia kept herself mostly covered with her hand and arms, though it wasn't perfect. "Well Asia... get ready to cover your face and get your cardio in... because this date is going to end in streaking."

"Streaking?"

"Yeah... and if we get caught, I have a feeling Rias is going to turn our butts as red as her hair."

"That's bad."

"We better not get caught then."
