"What... NO... Father, you can't be serious... what about the Pure-Blood Grandchildren you want... what about increasing our families prestige by marrying the sister of Lucifer... what about your Lust for more, and your Greed!?"

Riser screamed at his father in disbelief at what he was being told.

"I have cancelled the arranged marriage... the risk of loss for the family is too great." Lord Phenex looked at his horrified son. It was with a heavy heart that he did what he did, but the potential downsides far outweighed the benefits at this point.

Ravel smirked next to him for a brief second.

She told him everything.

'If Riser won't cancel the marriage, Father will... sorry Brother, but the family matters.' Ravel had done what she did not to ruin her brother, but to keep their family's immortality and it's weaknesses a secret. Everyone thinking they were almost impossible to kill was far more important than the small benefits that would be gained by the small chance that Riser actually won his fight.

"What about Lord Gremory, he can't have approved of this!?" Riser knew it would take BOTH parties agreeing to cancel the arrangement.

Riser was banking on that.

"I convinced him of a different, more beneficial arrangement to him. Instead of his heir being married, one of the servants in the Gremory family will marry my daughter, and we will pay them a percentage of then sales from our Phoenix Tears." Lord Phenex was doing whatever possible to ensure that the boy who knew about how to kill them was put into a position where he would not want to do it. So he was going to make the boy who had to obey Rias, and thus Lord Gremory, marry his daughter so that he would not want to reveal it.

It was Ravel's idea.

Who would ever want to reveal to potential assassins of a way to kill their own wife, especially one as beautiful as Ravel? It would be a way to ensure that Naruto never told anyone how to kill a Phenex, since they could not exactly ask him not to reveal it. They also couldn't tell Lord Gremory the reason for the cancelling of the marriage either, so there were many things that put them at a disadvantage.

"You can't do that... Ravel shouldn't marry such low life scum, she is-"

"Brother, I think I might be such as perverted as you... because the thought of being forced to marry low life scum... just turns me on." Ravel shut Riser up, while getting her father to blush a little, looking away from her. Her words had the effect they needed though, and took the wind from under his wings. Riser seemed confused and broken by the statement, so he just turned around and began to walk away.

Lord Phenex coughed.

"Daughter..."

"Lighten up a little Father, I just said what I needed to say to get Brother to give up. Maybe he will reflect a little." Ravel eased the worries of her father. "... anyway, he is gaining quite a few military achievements... I don't expect Naruto to stay low-class for long." Ravel had no doubt by the time she actually married him, he would be of equal standing to her when it came to rank.

Not like she had any competition.

-Somewhere Else-

"I see... well this is... interesting." Lord Gremory stated as he looked at Arch Angel Michael and a human girl that was with him. Sirzechs was standing nearby, having invited two of their enemies to visit the castle to introduce themselves.

Lady Gremory was sitting quietly, but she seemed amused.

"To ensure peace-"

"I approve of the marriage between the Exorcist and my daughter's Bishop... whatever reasons you have, I don't need to know." Lord Gremory raised a hand and he could not stop the excited smirk on his face. He knew the reason why they were there, for the marriage contract, even if he didn't know why or for what reason it was important.

"Uh... just like that."

"... I find this very amusing..." Lord Gremory had already approved of a marriage deal that would wildly benefit him. Now his family would get much richer thanks to getting profits from Phoenix Tears, and all he needed to do was cancel one marriage and approve of another. While his goal of more pure blooded grandchildren would be put to waste, the benefits far outweighed the downsides of that agreement.

"You just... amusing?" Xenovia had thought that they would need to explain the truth.

"You seem to misunderstand child... for a devil, there is nothing more important to us than satisfying ourselves. Even those with the most noble of goals, only do so due to their own desires... and I find this entire ordeal very amusing... for the Church and God's Angels to weaken themselves on purpose... I want to see this play out." Lord Gremory needed no other reason than that. A Durandal user by nature being given up in marriage by an angel to a devil was so amusing that he couldn't avoid agreeing to see it play out.

He guessed this was related to peace between the sides, but he didn't want to ruin the surprise by asking.

"Very well... thank you." Michael left it at that. "Let us show you to Kuoh, before I head back to the Church and get your wedding gift prepared." Michael already knew what he was going to be giving Xenovia as a wedding gift.

A way to prove to the devils that they meant no more harm to them.

-Somewhere Else-

"... I found it... after almost a month of searching... I found the perfect magical tool to help my Master in his training." Tiamat spoke as she held a great tool in her hands. She had been faithfully searching the entire time for great tools, and while she had found MANY treasures that she added to her collection, for the first time in a month she had found the perfect tool for her goal.

Force Naruto to accept her as his familiar, so that he could become her Master for real.

He owed her.

"Heheheh... I should make him reward me for my hard work... a good Master rewards his familiar... what should I request..." Tiamat had worked up a sweat over the unending search for tools she could use. She had barely done anything but search for any magic treasure she could find, other than when she did her job and watch over Rating Games that was. "Should he pay me with his body... I want to see his treasure... I deserve it after all this effort."

She was going to do so many perverted things to that boy.

-Somewhere Else-

"... Stronger... the boy is stronger than he was before... im... impossible... maybe... maybe agreeing to this was a bad idea."

Satori was shitting bricks when he had been passed on the message that Naruto was even stronger than before, and last time he got his ass kicked when he fought the boy in a weakened state. The boy had his chakra sealed off and could only fight in Sage Mode last time, and this time he was even stronger than before according to the message he had been given.

Satori had no eyes to cry out of.

Now that he remembered, Naruto already knew all of his tricks and secrets. There was no way he was going to be able to avoid getting hit by Naruto, meaning his ultimate defense was broken already. The way he could kill people stronger than him had already been rendered invalid by the very fact he was fighting against an opponent who already knew it.

"... Why... why did I even... my desire for revenge... oh... this was a bad idea... this was no a good idea... I fucked up... I messed up... I'm going to get killed, and then the Shinigami is going to take my soul... I'm going to die... I'm going to die, and can't even go back to my box." Satori was hiding in a cave in the mountain, and he was finding himself only able to think of all of the ways that Naruto was going to kill him, and then how the Shinigami would punish him.

All he could do was repeat to himself.

How could he get himself out of this mess, because he was SO FUCKED now that he had made an enemy out of Naruto AGAIN.

WHY DID HE THINK THIS WAS A GOOD IDEA!?
