Toa Solaric: I don't own either Akame Ga Kill or Kamen Rider. They belonged to their respective owners and I'm writing this for fun. The only things that I own here are the OCs for my story.
Kiva: Dark Moon Over Bloody Sky!
Wake 10: Hooded Maiden
In a fashionable office, Raiga was sitting on the sofa with Fuuko beside him while in the presence of a nobleman in front of them.
"It's nice to meet you, Raiga Asada." the nobleman said. "My name is Albert Herdler. I'm the representative of the merchant company here in this rundown city. I have been looking for you."
"How do you know about me?" Raiga inquired.
This made the nobleman smile and respond. "You can say that I'm acquainted with your boss…Vandham. You especially have been recognized for your profession in the violin and Danger Beast hunting."
"You claim to know my Boss, but this might end up wasting our time…" Raiga claimed as he and Fuuko got up from their seats.
"Will you hear my request?" Albert asked. "That way, I don't have to deal with any unnecessary paper work."
This made Raiga stop while Fuuko followed suit, sending him a confused look. The Fandiri looks back at Albert. "If this is serious, I take it that you're type of guy who doesn't waste time and gets to the point."
"Of course," Albert said, smiling.
Deep in the misty woods, there was a bandit struggling to make his way across said woods. It wasn't that long ago that he and others like him were celebrating their recent raid against the local merchants who tried to reach The Capital to sell their goods. However, things didn't go so well for them after their raid.
"Curse… those bloody Night Raid…" the bandit hissed in angrily. "Damn them… to hell…"
It wasn't long until the member collapsed onto the ground.
He lost a lot of blood from those wires that the green haired Night Raid member uses.
"Ugh… This isn't fair…" The man cursed, unable to move.
It wasn't long until he heard footsteps approaching him.
The bandit looks up to see a woman wearing a large hooded cloak approaching him.
"P-Please… Help me…" The bandit pleaded, trying to crawl his way toward her. If she could help him, then he will likely survive the following day.
"Don't worry…" The woman in the hooded said, "I will free you from this world…" She kneels down and comes close to the bandit's face. Two violet glowing eyes stare directly at him.
The bandit couldn't help but feel he was no longer troubled by the things that happened in the current world. Unknown to the bandit, his body disappeared as a result of his life force being consumed and leaving him unable to resist the struggle.
"Good night…" The woman in the hood said before leaving through the misty woods.

In the shadow, there were three figures that were standing in what looks like a dark room. Though it's unknown who the other two are before focused on one who revealed to be none other than Raiga. His face was soon covered by the helmet of Kiva. The scene showed the Capital and then straight to the palace.
Oh oh oh oh oh ohh!
Oh oh oh oh oh ohh!
Raiga was standing looking over the heart of the capital and the people as the sun rising high over it.
Hikari mitsuketa kuuhaku no jikan!
Raiga was seen walking through the streets with a serious expression on his face. Flying above him was none other than Kivat the Third.
Mayoikonda chuuzuri no sekai!
The scene showed Fuuko is walking with chains on her wrists through a prison hallway and have despair look upon her face. The scene changed back to Raiga who continued his way through the street despite the cruel life shown on the street.
Shinjirareru kotae sagashimotomete. Tada samayotteru!
Soon the screen showed back to Fuuko who reached to end of the cell and couldn't struggle with her chains.
Yeah!
Yubi no sukima nigeru light! Yosomi shiteru hima mo nai!
The screen soon changed to Tatsumi with the Night Raid organization with their Teigu.
Uketa kizuna ato sae kate ni! Seijaku kirisaiteku!
The screen shift from Tatsumi and Night Raid to that of the Jeager members.
Dare mo kare mo Dead or alive!
The screen soon shifts to the throne room of the palace with Makoto and Honest while Budo and many imperial soldiers standing in the way.
Mamoru dake ja Can't survive!
Soon there is a sinister grin that can be seen on the Prime Minister's face.
I don't wanna lie to myself!
Raiga soon finds himself dropped into the darkness as the memories of his home was burned reoccurring in his mind.
Keep on the fight, get right! I'll never lose and cry!
He didn't notice that he was in front of Fuuko's cell as the young girl noticed someone in front of her cell.
Keep run up day and night! Time to rewrite!
Soon the sky turned crimson as a mysterious white hooded figure standing over an army of monsters before a screen shown a massive figure sitting on a throne.
No matter what anyone say!
I find my way! Yeah, never go away!
Soon the screen between Raiga and Fuuko shattered to revealed Kiva and IXA standing back to back with each other. Soon Kivat the Third appeared on the screen and sang.
(Never go away!)
Now, nobody can't stop me no way! Wasurete shimau koto no nai you ni!
The Revolutionary Army and the Imperial soldiers are fighting each other with the leading groups for each other; Night Raid and Jeager.
Nakushita mono subete torimodosu tame!
The screen shown inside Castle Doran was a throne with Kiva on it. Sitting nearby are the Arm Monsters in their human forms, Sayo, and Fuuko.
Rise suddenly in this world!
A child Raiga was on his knees in a ruin of the village and Bloody Rose was right beside him.
(I don't look back yeah)!
Kiva and his companions were back to back when they face against the white hooded man and army of a monster before the man raising his head to send chilling winds. Kiva's companions were knocked back while Kiva holding his ground.
Kurikaesu tabi no hate! Nouri ni nokotta shippai nante!
Kiva soon places a red fuestle into Kivat's mouth and jumps into the air before coming down at him with a Darkness Moon Break. The white hooded figure revealed golden claws charged at him as the two collided as the screen turn white.
Zenbu torikaese ima Turn over! Rise suddenly in this world! (I don't look back yeah)
The scene changed to a meadow as Raiga continued his walk with Kivat riding on his shoulder and turned back to see Sayo and Fuuko as the two girls ran up to him. This made Raiga smile before they continued with their travel.
Oh oh oh oh oh ohh!
Oh oh oh oh oh ohh!
Raiga and Fuuko are sitting in the back of a wagon that was going through the forest. It was driven by a man named Owen, who made it through the woods.
"She is sound asleep now…" Kivat said, looking at the sleeping Fuuko.
"At least she won't have to worry much about the guard position of this job," Raiga said, thinking about the job proposition that Albert enlisted his help for.
(Flashback)
"So merchants in this town mysteriously disappeared when trying to reach the Capital?" Raiga asked, getting the gist of the trouble Albert having here.
"That is right," Albert replied. "A lot of my merchants never make it back after sending them off to the Capital to sell off the shipments."
"Do you have any clues on what happened to them?" Raiga asked. Usually bandits would be behind the ambushes of traveling merchants making their way to sell products to The Capital.
"Yes, I managed to find out through some sources that their wagons were abandoned and the only things left of my employees were glass-like corpses," Albert said, making both Raiga and Fuuko look at each other with surprise yet knowing looks.
"Are you certain they were glass?" Raiga asked, wanting to be sure that he was hearing things right.
Albert nodded. "That was all my guards had to report about what happened to the merchants who were sent out to this village. You can look at the accounts for yourselves." He then pushes the papers across the table.
Raiga stares at him and then takes up one of the papers, looking at the reports. It wasn't long until he finished reading over them. "I see...it looks like you have quite the matter on your hand," he began. "I guess I'll believe you, for now. In any case, I will let you know what I find out after venturing to the Capital as it tends to be dangerous.
"I'm aware of that, and I promise to compensate you for your work," Albert said.
(Present)
Even though the offering was much, Raiga decided on taking the job to find out more about the Fangire causing this mess. But he also wants to give Fuuko more experience and get her used to wearing the IXA armor.
"What are you going to do about Sayo's letter to Tatsumi? Aren't you going to find him and give it to him?" asked Kivat.
Before leaving Sayo's village, the girl herself requested Raiga to hand a letter she wrote to Tatsumi if he ever comes across him. Even though he doesn't want to go near the Capital or Night Raid; Raiga considers Sayo a good friend and will at least honor her request.
If they reach the Capital, Raiga could go and find Tatsumi to deliver the letter…but that also means dealing with Night Raid, too. By some chance Night Raid finds out about the letter, they might go straight to the village to silence those who know their true identity and location. After all, he was one of those people who saw Night Raid and put them in their place. Night Raid aren't the type of people who will allow those who have seen their faces to walk away scot-free, even after beating their asses when they tried to ambush him.
Raiga hummed, looking at the letter that Sayo wrote in his hand. "Normally… I would be where Tatsumi is and just shove the letter to his face," The young man pondered. "For Sayo, I don't think right now would be a proper time to play courier." He stares at the sleeping form of Fuuko not far from him. Since leaving her village, Raiga has dedicated lost time to helping Fuuko hone her skills in combat so she could hold her own in battles with him. With them entering a nation with high death rates, they need to be even more careful and not separate for long.
Even if they did come across Night Raid by some chance, he will not allow them to have any chance of taking anyone close to him hostage. That is the one thing Raiga will make sure doesn't happen.
"Is everything alright back there?" Owen's voice asked from the front of the wagon.
Raiga soon got up and checked on the merchant driver.
"Yeah, we were just thinking about what to do after reaching the Capital," Raiga answered honestly. "Do you see anything odd so far?" he asked.
"Not really. But we might reach the point where the others might have perished…" Owen said with a grimace, aware of their fate. "If we don't deliver this, it will be more difficult to provide for the villagers."
"I know…" Raiga said, " Just to let you know, we will make sure nothing bad happens to you or the cargo." he assured the merchant.
The driver still has some uncertainty, but nodded. "Say, did you hear rumors about what happened in the Northern Country?" The driver asked, focused on the driving.
"Yes, an old colleague of mine told me. Said that the Northern Country was crushed in less than a year...by the Empire's strongest." Raiga replied in grimace. He knows all too well about the horrifying tales of the Empire's strongest from Vandham.
"True, everyone has hope for the so-called Hero of North, but there seems to be no one able to stand up against the Empire." The driver said.
'And they will eventually be return to the Capital soon…' Raiga mentally added. That means more trouble for Night Raid. Not that he cared much about them except for Tatsumi, but Night Raid are fools for not killing Honest while the Empire's forces was away.
In the Capital, a few gentlemen were gathering in the same building upon discussing something. They all wore different colored masks.
"So it's true. Kiva was nowhere in sight of the Capital after that fight." A man in a black mask spoke.
"It looks like we came here...too late." The one in a red mask said.
"You know I'm surprised that he didn't turn out savage like these people…" Another man with a blue mask remarked darkly. "But then again, considering who he shares blood with.. I'm not surprised."
"Should we contact Bishop about this?" Another with a green mask asked.
"Nonsense. It probably won't do much for him since the brat is nowhere in sight. But we have bigger things to worry about…" The one in the blue mask countered, "I heard those bastards are after this country for themselves...no doubt that we will get into another Great Mazoku War."
This spurred up a conversation among them, with their voices briefly overlapping before one of them slammed their beastly paw to the table.
"Thank you, gentlemen…" The one in red mask said, "But no such war of the likes is going to happen if we don't reap the benefits of this foolish conflict those humans have started."
This certainly caught their attention.
"How do you propose we should win?"
"It's simple."
Raiga is playing his violin after the merchant stopped his wagon for the horses to rest while dinner is being prepared. He was thinking about his friend Asuka and the moment of her death by his own hand.
Not far from where he was, Fuuko watched him after she woke up. Even though she is always impressed by how lovely Raiga plays…this one sounds sad. And she knows the reason why.
"Raiga-sama…" Fuuko started before a scream interrupted them.
Owen got frightened by the sudden swarm of bugs that were coming toward him.
"Fuuko, make a torch!" Raiga ordered, placing his violin aside and pulled out his fan.
The young woman nodded before grabbing a torchbearer and puts it near the campfire, lighting it up as she then swings it around at the nearby insects.
"This is… why I hate bugs!" The young woman gritted her teeth in annoyance, making sure none of them get onto her clothes. "W-Why so many!?"
Raiga approaches Owen and slices the insects before they come anywhere near the merchant. 'Where in the world did these insects come from?'
Suddenly, Raiga hears a familiar melody as his expression became really serious. He throws one of his fans to the left and slices down some bushes where an insect-like Fangire was hiding.
"Shit! I didn't figure that you'd find me this soon!" The Antlion Fangire cursed angrily. The Fangire is based on antlion with mostly black and orange shard-like bodies.
"AAAAHHH!" The merchant screamed and runs through the woods.
"Owen!" Raiga and Fuuko cried before seeing the Fangire pursue the merchant.
"Not so fast!" Kivat yelled, emerging from the woods and slashing the Fangire's face in a surprise attack.
"READY!"
"H-Henshin!" Fuuko shouts inserted the IXA Knuckle into her belt.
"FIST ON!"
Fuuko in the armor of IXA intercepted the Antlion Fangire's way with her IXA-Calibur. She sends a couple of slashes at the Fangire to send him back.
"Kivat!"
"Kivatte Ikuze! GABUU!"
"Henshin!" Raiga said before placing Kivat in his belt.
With silver chains wrapping around his entire body and shattered to reveal his transformation as Kiva.
The Antlion Fangire fired waves of insects that prevented IXA from coming too close before turning to face Kiva who smacks his shoulder against his face. This made the Fangire stumbled back and covers his face.
"Damn… that hurt! I'll make you pay for that!" The Antlion Fangire holds his face due to the soreness from Kiva's attack.
IXA pulls the trigger of IXA-Calibur Gun Mode before firing a couple of shots at the Fangire who jumps out of the way before digging a hole beneath the ground and rushes off at incredible speed.
"Raiga-sama, should we follow him?" IXA asked as she and Kiva looking at the hole that the Fangire dug.
"It's no use. Even if we follow him, he's too fast for us to pursue on foot." Kivat said. "For now, we should focus on catching up with our client. He shouldn't have gotten far from here." IXA looks at the hole before nodding.
Both Riders ran through the woods before they found Owen passed out on the ground. They wanted to make sure he was alright but halted at what was right in front of them with shocked looks.
"W-What in the world…?" IXA got out.
"No way…" Kiva uttered in disbelief. Even his partner, Kivat, seems to be in shock and couldn't even utter a word.
In front of them was a hovering entity in a dark gray hood with dark blue glowing lights around the edges of the cloak. It was feasting over the essence of dead bodies that Kiva can recognize as bandits due to his visor allowing him to see in the dark. Unlike the Fangire leaving glass corpses, this one sucks out its victim's essence and leaves nothing behind.
"Hey!" Kiva shouted, getting the cloak spectator's attention.
They see that hooded figure has violet eyes glowing from behind the hood, but no accurate description of their face making it more disturbing.
"K-K-KIVA!?" The hooded figure gasped in a distorted female voice, shaking uncontrollably at the sight of Kiva. "H-HERE AND NOW!?"
"Do you know her?" IXA asked.
"No. I have never seen her before…" Kiva answered honestly. But judging by her reaction, she probably recognizes the armor.
"There is no doubt about it…"
"STAY AWAY FROM ME!" the hooded being brought out a gray scythe with a crimson blade before swing energy slashes at them.
Kiva grabs Owen and moves out of the way while IXA went in the opposite direction. The hooded entity became transparent after IXA's bullets went through her body. IXA was surprised before the hooded entity vanished in front of her.
"What the!?" IXA exclaimed before feeling something terrible from behind.
She barely had time to block the hooded entity's scythe that sent her flying backward from the hard blow.
"GARULU SABER!"
After gaining Garulu Saber, Kiva donned cobalt eyes and his chest armor become blue in the process. This made the hooded entity conjure out her scythe in time to counter the blade as sparks flew in the air.
When the hooded entity tries to swing her scythe at Kiva, the Rider ducked his head and charges at her. Before his attack could reach her head, the hooded entity leaps at the last moment and hovers across the air.
The hooded entity brought up an energy slash once again and forced Kiva to dodge the attack causing an impact on the ground. The Rider looks up and saw that the hooded entity was no longer around.
Kivat flew off the perch of the belt as Kiva's transformation was undone and Garulu Saber flew back to where it once came.
"Raiga-sama! Are you alright?!" Fuuko asked, confused after getting up from the ground.
"I'm fine… how about you?" Raiga asked.
"Well…I do feel kinda sore, but I can still move around a bit." Fuuko answered, looking tired.
Raiga sighs with relief before looking at Kivat.
"Kivat, could you ask Jiro and others who was that?" Raiga asked. He has his suspicions about who their attacker was but would rather get a second opinion from his guardians to make sure that what they saw was real.
"Sure thing, Aibou." Kivat replied before flying off into the woods.
Raiga soon makes his way to Owen and helped the man get back up from the ground. Fuuko makes her way to help Raiga with carrying the unconscious merchant back to the campsite.
(Castle Doran)
"There is no doubt about that fighting style. That was a Ghost," Jiro concluded roughly as he and Riki were playing chess. It wasn't long until Kivat had his way back and reported the sighting of someone that caught the Armed Monsters' attention.
"I thought as much. Tou-san told me what the Ghost clan was like." Kivat responded. He never met the Ghost clan personally since they were long gone after he was born. Or so he'd heard. And now that Jiro confirmed that it was a Ghost who they fought back there.
"She is like us… a survivor," Riki stated stoically as the weight of his words holds significant value to them.
All three of them could never forget what happened to their kinsmen after what the Fangire did to them. Never in their wildest dream did they expect to meet another member of a fallen Mazoku clan that survived.
"It makes sense considering how she was freaked out by Kiva's appearance." Kivat recalls the Ghost's behavior around his partner.
"Should we try to get in contact with her?" Ramon asked. Even though they have promised to keep Raiga safe, Ramon wants to meet the other survivors like themselves.
"We simply can't rush in foolishly considering how frightened she was by Kiva's presence," Jiro said. He knows the reason for her behavior and can't blame her.
"I know…that's how we've survived all this time." Ramon said.
"In any case, she might know if there are more survivors of any other Mazoku clans," Jiro spoke. Even though they know that there is no one else in their own respective clans to have survived, it might be possible that the Ghost knows something they could have overlooked. More reason why they need to confront her.
Riki and Ramon nodded, silently agreeing on a careful approach of the Ghost clan member. If they don't know her intentions she will likely be a threat to both Raiga and Fuuko.
"I'm fine with you guys wanting to talk to her and get some answers, but if there are any signs of danger…" Kivat trailed.
"Don't worry, Kivat. We will make certain nothing bad happens." Riki answered.
"Here is what we're going to do…" Jiro begins to tell everyone what he had in mind. After coming to an agreement, Kivat made his way out of Castle Doran.
Elsewhere in the forest, the cloaked figure made her way to a small cavern before her form shifted into that of a human in gray and black clothing.
Though her appearance couldn't be described due to how dark the cavern was.
"Kiva… That certainly is Kiva alright." The young woman muttered. She indeed recognizes the one responsible for the fall of her family…
At the same time, the appearance of Kiva confused her since the Kiva that she recalled was much different. Why in the world does Kiva look like that? And for what purpose?
She could save that thought for a later date as she thought back to her purpose of coming to this dying nation. With many people dying here, it makes it easier for her to restrain her urges of feeding by taking those who couldn't reach for any salvation.
It wasn't just her since the clan responsible for annihilating her own was also targeting the people here with how many have started dying off. And now, there is the presence of Kiva, who shows up in front of her with that strangely armored warrior beside him.
It doesn't matter…as long as I keep myself from his presence, I should be able to stave my feeding without any disturbances, the Last of the Ghost tribe thought.
Raiga was looking out the woods as he was on nightshift duty. It wasn't long until he and Fuuko were able to calm the panic-stricken merchant after he woke up and managed to settle things with warm food to eat.
At least that guy will be able to continue with his job… Raiga thought after taking over the watch since the merchant needs more rest after what happened.
"Can't sleep?" He asked.
Coming to sit next him was Fuuko.
"I guess I was thinking too much about the plan Jiro and the other came up with," Fuuko replied. "It's kind of risky, don't you think?"
It was a bit of shocker when Kivat returned revealing that Raiga's suspicions about their new attack were none other than the last member of the Ghost Mazoku clan.
"A little," Raiga replied. "But I do see the potential in this working out despite how risky it might be. I trust my Guardians on this matter. Still, you should be careful."
"Then I should say the same thing to you, Raiga-sama." Fuuko replied before frowning. "I hope that nothing bad happens in the Capital."
Raiga sighed before placing his hand on her shoulder. "I know how you feel about that place. But please hold on until we finish our job, okay?" he softly asked as the young woman nodded.
(Two days later)
Things have been quite normal when not seeing the Antlion Fangire or Ghost as they continued their way to the Capital. The only ones who seem to have the intention of crossing the wagon were Danger Beasts wandering about.
Fortunately, they were easy to be deal with. They salvaged some of the Danger Beasts for meat that can be eaten with the right seasonings.
So far, their travel has been running smoothly without any interruption for the past two days. If it goes like this, they will reach the Capital sooner than expected.
Raiga suddenly hears a familiar violin playing that followed up the sound of screams that came from the woods. He looked to see panicking bandits being attacked by numerous antlions…
"B-Bandits?" Owen gasped in shock. "What in the world are they doing here!?"
"I think they're the ones that usually wait for merchants to come to the Capital and steal their stuff…" Raiga hypothesized. What he didn't add was that bandits take young girls and violate them in sadistic ways.
It wasn't long until the Antlion Fangire emerged from the woods and impaled the bandits with more energy.
"Oh great…" Raiga groaned.
"Raiga-sama, over there!" Fuuko pointed in another direction.
In the opposite direction of Antlion Fangire was none other than Ghost herself. She seems to have a similar objective as the Antlion Fangire and that is to devour souls.
"Well, we have two of them to worry about now." Kivat remarked. With the Ghost's presence, they will need to begin with the plan.
"W-What do we do?" Owen asked, nervously.
"Owen, we will create an opening for you to be able to go through," Raiga answered as this made Fuuko nod.
"A-Are you two sure?" Owen asked, somewhat nervous. Even though he didn't know them very long, he was comfortable with them as they agreed to help him with his job.
We will…I think," Fuuko bluntly answered, hopping off the wagon with the IXA belt in her right hand.
"Don't worry, we'll catch up after we finish with them," Raiga answered. He and Fuuko remember the plan with the Ghost, but they will need to take down the Antlion Fangire.
"I won't allow you to get away!" Antlion Fangire declared, summoning his insect swarm.
Fuuko got out her IXA Knuckle and released a powerful heatwave, destroying the insects that were present. Raiga threw his war fans to block the Fangire's path.
"Now!" Owen urged his horses to move faster while Raiga sent another war fan to knock his opponent back.
"Kivat!"
"READY!"
With Kivat and IXA Knuckle in their hands, both Raiga and Fuuko shouted out one word.
"Henshin!"
"GABUU!"
"FIST ON!"
Silver and gold ran through them as they became Kiva and IXA. Their transformation caused Ghost to be surprised upon seeing the presence of Kiva before becoming furious…
The demonic specter got out her scythe and released energy slashes that made both Riders jump out of the way. IXA got out her IXA-Calibur and turned to fire shots at Ghost.
The demonic specter turned transparent and caused the bullets to hit the Antlion Fangire, knocking the Fangire to the ground hard. Ghost soon went straight at Kiva and made the vampire Rider rolled out of the way.
Soon it turned into a three-way battle between the last member of the Ghost Mazoku clan, two Riders who were hired for a protecting merchant job, and Antlion Fangire.
While dodging the blows from the Ghost, Kiva used his battle fan to smack away the incoming insects from the Antlion Fangire. IXA followed up with incoming slashes with IXA-Calibur before Antlion shoved her away with his fists and digging underground.
IXA was prepared for this and got out a bottle.
"Fuuko!" Kiva shouted, dodging another attack from Ghost.
IXA turned around and her visor component opened to release a bright light that blinded the Ghost in the process.
"AAAHH!" The Ghost cried out from the pain of the light before IXA knocked her back. Kiva came closing in and slashes her with his battle fans to make her stagger back.
The white Rider threw the bottle into the hole as orange smoke comes out. Coming out of the ground was none other than the Antlion Fangire.
"That burns" The Antlion Fangire cried out in panic and runs frantically around before getting close to the Ghost who nearly regains her sight.
However, an unknown purple quake sent the Fangire aside as IXA and Kiva unleashed their respective finisher move.
"WAKE UP!"
"IXA-KNUCKLE: RISE UP!"
IXA pulls the knuckle back while Kiva prepares to leap into the air as the day turned to night. The Fangire desperately struggles and couldn't get away when both Riders released their respective attacks on the Fangire in response. The Ghost watches the Fangire's body shatter by their attacks, and the glowing orb went straight up into the air.
"What in the world was that?" Ghost wondered, confused by the strange quake a moment ago.
"Member of the Ghost Clan, we wish to speak with you," Kiva said, getting her out of thought as she glares from her cloak.
"Speak? I thought you Fangire always resort to violence." The Ghost hissed angrily before charging forward and got hit by balls of water.
"Don't speak to Raiga-sama like that!" Basshaa retort, coming out of his hiding spot. He stood beside Kiva and IXA.
"A-A Merman!? I thought they were wiped out by the Fangire!" The Ghost gasped after seeing another Mazoku member of the fallen clans here.
"He wasn't the only one who survived," Garulu said as he and Dogga emerged out of the woods.
"I-Impossible…" Ghost gawked. It wasn't just Mermen, but Wolfen and Franken!
"Indeed, we thought that we were the only ones left of our clans. But we never anticipated another…" Garulu said, looking at her. Even if she tried to escape, both Bassha and Dogga sealed off her abilities to escape. "We wish to offer an alliance with you against the enemies responsible for our tribe's demise."
"An alliance that involves Kiva?! Don't you know what he did!?" Ghost argued while Kiva remained silent.
"Raiga-sama is only a Fandiri." The Franken retorts coldly.
This new information seems to surprise the last member of the Ghost clan. Kiva here is only a Fandiri? One of those taboo children between human and Fangire?
"If you help us, you won't have to worry about succumbing to your hunger," Basshaa stated.
"I won't work with any of you!" The last of Ghost members lashed out before releasing energy wave slashes at Kiva and the others.
Kiva, Basshaa, and IXA moved out of the way from the attack. Garulu tried to grabbed her from behind but Ghost fazed out of the way and leaps into the air.
Dogga grabbed a tree and tried to throw it at her but the Ghost moved out of the way.
"I guess we have to do this the hard way…" Kiva said before looking at Basshaa, "Ramon, let's do this."
Basshaa nodded as a green Fuestle was given to Kivat.
"BASSHAA MAGMUM!"
The last Mermen did a spin before turning into a Basshaa Statue and lands in Kiva's hand thus changing into Basshaa Form.
Kiva fires a couple of shots at the Ghost who got struck by the shots that canceled out her phasing ability. Garulu crawls from the tree and leaps to slash her in the process.
"H-How…?" The Ghost was shocked with disbelief before IXA went to slash her a few times. Then Dogga rushes toward her with the brutal punch and sent her crashing into a tree.
"GARULU SABER!"
After Basshaa left, Garulu growls as chains wrapped around his body and turned into the Garulu Statue. It flew into Kiva's hand and changed into Garulu Form.
Kiva brought Garulu Saber forward as he releases energy howls as the Ghost avoided the attacks.
"W-Why in the world did you allow yourself into slavery!?" Ghost frustratingly demands.
"This isn't slavery!" Kiva retorts before leaping into the air. "We're fighting as a group!" he growls as he and the Ghost swing their blades in midair before she knocked him into a tree.
Thanks to the instinct of Garulu Form, Kiva landed safely on one of the trees. Basshaa and IXA fire at the Ghost who tried to move out of the way, before facing Kiva who right back at her.
She tries to swing her scythe, but Kiva dodges and grabs her by the robe pulling her along with him to the ground. A small quake occurred when Dogga slammed his fist into the ground and releases a wave of lighting that struck her hard across the ground. The last member of Ghost hisses as the rest of her body wasn't able to move due to the electricity emitting from Dogga's strike.
"Ugh…"
"I know enough that Ghosts can't move with electricity disrupting their body's natural energy." Dogga said stoically.
Kiva soon lets go of Garulu Saber as Garulu returns to his original form beside him. Garulu, IXA, and, Basshaa followed Kiva as he made his way toward the last member of the Ghost clan.
"A-Aren't you going to…finish me off?" Ghost asked despite being in pain from the electric shock from Dogga's attack.
In a situation like this, Kiva will finish with a final blow after seeing her eating those bandits as common Fangire does. But he holds back…
One factor was the memory of his friend who died by his hands and…
"No. I intend to respect my guardians' wishes to spare you and establish an alliance with you against the Fangire." Kiva stated, staring at the female Ghost. "I know this might give you a bad impression of us now…but I hope that we can be comrades against the same enemies." Sure, this reminds him of how Night Raid tried to capture and force him into their conflict against his own free will. But the only difference is that they genuinely want to help her, especially with her near insatiable hunger.
One thing that he learned from his guardians about certain Mazoku clans is that only actions will get through their heads than simply exchanging words, if they ever want to work together.
"If I'm with you…aren't you going to turn me into a slave?" Ghost asked, still skeptical but unable to move.
"No, I will never condemn such actions," Kiva answered with complete honesty.
Ghost was silent as Garulu spoke up.
"I can reassure you that Raiga-sama is truthful about that. I swear on the honor of Wolfen." Garulu stated, looking down at the last of the Ghost clan.
"Being the last of your clan… it will be difficult for you to survive on your own if your enemies relentlessly pursue you without rest."
"We know from experience. That is why we should stick together until our enemies are dealt with." Basshaa added.
"Until our enemies are defeated…you can go wherever you want afterward." Dogga stated.
It wasn't long until the Ghost felt the electricity in her body fade away and spoke up. "I still don't believe you… but you're right about the Fangire. Until they are dealt with… am I corrected?" Ghost asked in a somewhat reluctantly tone.
Kiva and his group nodded.
Soon the Ghost's entire form shimmers down and becomes that of a young woman with silver-gray hair and green eyes wearing a gray and black hooded cape. To Kiva and IXA's surprise, she looks like she might around their ages or slightly older. Her clothes consisted of a black jacket, gray skirt, and black combat boots.
"May I know your name… Miss Ghost?" Kiva asked as this made the young woman in front of them scowl a bit.
"Gray." The last member of the Ghost Mazoku clan replied with a cold exterior.
"That is fine with us…" Kivat said, unnerved by the coldness of the woman in front of them.
Soon, Castle Doran arrived and land in front of them.
(In Castle Doran)
"It's hard to believe that you all live here…" Gray said after Jiro and others let her into the dining room.
The ones who weren't present are Raiga and Fuuko as they resumed their bodyguard job. Not that the Armed Monsters mind since they would like to speak with Gray about some personal stuff.
"Not that it was our first choice, but it was a fortress in the past," Jiro said. "Don't wander off on your own, there are traps here that we hadn't resolved to undo yet."
"Thank you for informing me. I will keep that in mind for now," Gray replied. "I'm surprised that all of you are fine following him."
It wasn't long until Riki comes in holding a tray with teapots for those present.
"We made a promise with his father that he will be taken care of. But like us, he knows the pain of losing loved ones as well." Jiro answered.
"So, Gray-san… do you know if anyone else survived?" Ramon asked as this was on the mind of Armed Monsters after discovering her existence.
"I'm sorry. But I don't know of any Wolfen, Mermen, or Franken to have survived while traveling on my own…" Gray answered in a quiet tone.
"I thought as much," Riki commented coldly. "The Fangire took our families from us."
"Then I take it that none of you see any Ghosts?" She received a silent stare. That alone was enough to answer what happened to her clan.
"What about the Mermaids and Goblins?" Jiro asked.
Gray paused a moment after sipping the tea Riki provided for her. "There weren't much except that the Goblins seem to take their enemies down with them from overhearing some Fangires..." Gray stated calmly.
"That is typical for those bone headed idiots," Jiro remarked darkly.
"At least, we aren't alone like I thought," Ramon said.
"... Just let you know, I have no assumption of helping you bring your clan back," Gray stated coldly.
"Don't worry, you have every right about who you want to be with," Jiro said. Besides he doesn't even want to know if it's possible for the Wolfen to have offspring with Ghost since they can be intangible.
"But be warned," Riki began. "If you ever have any intention of endangering those who live here, we shall deal with you ourselves. We did this because we understand your loss and nothing more."
"This place is also Raiga-sama's haven," added Ramon.
"If you feel ready," Riki said. "We will show you the room you will stay. It will be for your personal uses."
Gray nodded.
Riki nodded before Gray followed and lead her to the room that she will be staying.
The last member of the Ghost clan didn't expect to end up somewhere like this. Not to mention that she noticed her hunger for human life force seemed to stop after accepting this alliance. However, it doesn't mean she will trust them as friends since they could kill her if they wanted to. That is something Gray must remember and will keep watch of the residents residing in this castle.
To be continued…
AN: That is the end of this chapter after some time. Though there wasn't much action as expected for Raiga not to participate in the AKG events. Here we're getting into the introduction for a new alliance that Raiga and others made with Gray, the last member of the Ghost clan.
There are indeed other Mazoku clans in Kamen Rider Kiva but they were never shown. But I thought that it will be interesting to explore the possibility of what others are. Although this chapter isn't much about the development of Gray whose appearance I based on her anime counterpart in Lord El-Melloi II anime. But at least, it is a good start on the introduction. If you think that I should do better, please PM me on what to do better.
I know there isn't much about Night Raid focused here in this chapter… but then again, what would you expect? More killing those who commit misdeeds and how the world is cruel. It reminds me too much about that so-called special chapter in AKG that I disliked very much.
That is all I have to say for here!
