Ino wondered why she was called into the Hokage office with Naruto, Shino, and Anko. She'd had a cold earlier that week so her team had left on a C rank mission without her, and she'd heard Shino had been busy training with Shizune so his own team had gone on a C rank mission without him.

Unknown to the Yamanaka, Naruto's team had left him behind to do a C rank purely because the blonde had pulled a muscle with Haku. Despite his apparent sadism the dark haired pretty boy had been incredibly sorry and had actually acted like a servant for a bit. The horned genin recovered quickly enough though, and was more annoyed with his team for leaving without him than at Haku for causing the minor injury.

Tsunade had hoped Karin would take a more active shinobi role so she had more field ninja, but the former kunoichi had requested she simply be allowed to study iryo ninjutsu and work at the hospital. So the red head had in fact helped Tsunade even more by keeping Shizune busy even when Shino wasn't. The Godaime had actually considered teaching the Uzumaki girl herself if she had been interested in being a combat oriented iryonin.

"Alright you four, there have been reports of a Kaima attacking ships in Umi no Kuni." Tsunade began simply, "You're basically the only active shinobi I can spare for this, so figure out what it really is and put a stop to it." she ordered simply, "A merchant in Umi no Kuni is the client, and you'll be protecting his vessel while they make a payment to the Daimyo of Mizu no Kuni." she finished.

The Hokage who looked younger than she was hoped this would be fine, Anko had history with the place and technically speaking Naruto was not well liked by the aristocracy of Mizu no Kuni due to his murder of Gato.

The younger blonde perked up, "Can I visit Nami no Kuni on the way home?" he requested.

Tsunade nodded, "I suppose, but keep it short." she agreed, seeing nothing wrong with letting him take an extra few hours returning home as long as he got the mission done.

Ino was nervous around the three shinobi she was with the entire journey, Naruto in particular confused her with his blend of feminine and masculine traits. She didn't really have anything against the Aburame, but she didn't like bugs. Also she remembered how scary Anko had been during the Chunin Exams.

The fact that two members of the squad were Konton no Ninso added to her nervousness. The fact Anko seemed more normal when not trying to actively intimidate them was helping keep Ino calm at least, but the fact she seemed as boisterous as Naruto in a lot of ways did not. The two arguing about whether dango or ramen was better did make her worries seem ridiculous though.

"Look dango is fine, I love it even, but nothing is better than ramen!" Naruto insisted, "Ramen is perfect! You can do all sorts of things with it and it's still ramen!" he explained his reasoning. The blonde had brought the Kiba blades for this mission, but his other swords were stored in scrolls that Maemi carried for him.

"They're noodles!" Anko retorted, "And they aren't sweet, I prefer sweet foods." she added. Ino wondered why they both seemed to be named after their favorite foods in some way.

Naruto frowned, looking thoughtful for a moment before he answered, "Sweet ramen?" he mused, "Anko ramen or mitarashi ramen?" he wondered thoughtfully.

Anko looked disturbed until she realized he was talking about the food she shared her names with, "You can't be serious." she deadpanned, baffled that someone would even consider trying to make a sweet version of ramen.

"But I love anko!" Naruto insisted and the woman knew he was talking about the red bean paste and not her, but she still flushed in the cheeks.

Ino sighed at the antics of the two, "Don't you have a big enough harem already?" she asked dryly.

Naruto shook his head, "No way, I'm sure we could try even more positions if we had a fifth!" he responded shamelessly.

Soon enough the five arrived at the edge of Umi no Kuni, but Anko had clutched her neck and told them to find a boat to Hahaoya Island. Ino wondered why the tokubetsu jonin had run off like that, and being alone with the horned Uzumaki and hive-like Aburame was starting to make the Yamanaka nervous again.

Trying to set aside her nerves the kunoichi followed her team for the mission into the small village on the coast, there they found a purple haired and bandaged girl in a blue tunic-blouse selling a basket of fish to a merchant, looking at the money she received she looked at the merchant with an unimpressed expression. The merchant was in the process of insisting he couldn't pay more.

Ino frowned as she approached, "Hey, those fish look good quality, why are you underpaying so much?" the nosy blonde asked, seeming offended on the strangers behalf. Mostly she was trying to distract herself from how much her teammates freaked her out. Maemi found the trepidation of the girl amusing at least, so she didn't bother bringing it up.

The man raised a hand in a placating gesture, "Look I'm not trying to fleece prices," he defended himself, "with the Kaima attacking trade ships we get less business, that's just the market price of these fish around these parts." he tried to explain as Shino stepped up to join the blonde kunoichi.

Maemi felt a sudden wave of guilt from the purple haired young girl, who turned and left with a frown, "Is she hurt?" Ino asked, noticing the bandages.

The merchant sighed, "No, she has her reasons." he said as a few children saw the girl and ran away, "She's a diver from Hahaoya Island, she comes here to sell her fish because a while back she was spirited away and returned, so the people of Umi no Kuni find her strange." he explained.

Maemi was slightly exasperated as Naruto disappeared to chase after the girl, for a supposed champion of the god of pleasure and pain he really didn't like people being in emotional pain.

Naruto followed the bandaged girl and was glad he did when he saw a pair of men assaulting the girl, "Oi! What the hell are you guys doing?" he called out as he approached, narrowing his eyes when they disappeared. The blonde wondered what the hell kind of ninja harassed a girl carrying groceries. They smelled oddly familiar too, but he couldn't place where he'd smelled that scent before.

The purple haired girl swiftly picked her food up in her bag and ran away as he approached to offer help. Naruto frowned sadly, he really felt bad for the girl, but he supposed he had a mission to do and returned to his team as they approached the docks. Shino didn't bother questioning him, understanding by now that the blonde and Maemi were never too far away.

Ino however seemed annoyed, "Why'd you run off like that anyway?" she asked curiously.

Naruto scratched the skin around his right horn, "I wanted to make sure that girl was okay, she seemed really sad." he answered, "Besides, you know I can't leave pretty things alone." he added with a grin to lighten the mood.

Unfortunately it seemed there was only one man at the docks, and he wasn't very helpful in regards to their mission, "You missed the last ferry, ain't no one going out on the water this late with that Kaima around." the fisherman explained simply, packing up his own boat, "You're best off coming back tomorrow, there's an inn just back there if you need a place to stay." he advised.

Ino huffed in annoyance at the obstacle as Shino inspected the water line, walking on water that far would be almost more tiring than swimming and swimming across to the island at night wasn't a safe bet even if there wasn't a Kaima out there.

Naruto sighed and made the ram sign, prepared to use his ultimate attack to get his way. In a puff of smoke the horned genin was replaced with a nearly naked copy of himself, but older and bustier. Ino noticed with some annoyance that there were less differences between Naruto and his Oiroke no Jutsu form these days, but the shoulders slimmed down and the hips flared out to make him far more feminine than androgynous.

The Yamanaka definitely understood why Sakura hated the jutsu, as Naruto shamelessly seduced the man into handing over his boat by the time Anko arrived. Shino's hive buzzed in response to the embarrassment the Aburame felt being associated with the other ninso.

Anko raised an eyebrow, "How the hell does that even work on people? They have to know you're just tricking them." she pointed out, less annoyed than the two younger ninja.

Naruto shrugged as he hopped in the boat, careful not to pierce it with his bone spurs, "It mostly only works on perverts or people who heavily repress their lust. Suddenly having boobs in your face tends to make most men unable to think clearly." he explained plainly as his current team for the mission joined him in the boat.

"Where were you anyway?" Ino asked the older shinobi, curious about why she'd disappeared like she had.

"Something like information gathering I guess." Anko answered vaguely, Maemi frowned at the lie but decided to let the woman have her privacy. Naruto grabbed the oar to propel and steer the small vessel he had acquired, pointing them towards Hahaoya Island.

Shino couldn't help but feel unnerved, he was ill suited to the water, unable to detect anything below the surface with his kikaichu and unable to fight well against Suiton no Jutsu. Despite this he reminded himself that he had teammates to cover such weaknesses, but he couldn't help but lament that he didn't have his usual team with him.

Towards the end of the journey the boat shuddered violently, "Did I hit a rock?" Naruto asked, worried, "Shit, the oar is stuck!" he called out in warning, trying to tug it free of whatever it was jammed in.

"We have a problem up ahead!" Anko warned, pointing out their vessel was drifting towards a whirlpool, Shino and Ino stood to help with the oar but something long and prehensile whipped out of the water, wrapped around Ino, and swiftly dragged her under. Anko cursed and dove in after her.

"Abandon ship, because we'll just be dragged under if we don't." Shino advised calmly before leaping to the surface of the water, Maemi followed after him. Naruto frowned and dropped his leg weights quickly, opening the skin of his right thumb on his right horn before jumping to the water while weaving hand signs.

"Kuchiyose!" Naruto declared as he landed in a crouch, plunging his hand into the water and summoning six serpents of Slaanesh as Anko breached the surface with an unconscious but thankfully alive Ino. The mammalian serpentine Daemons swiftly detected their prey and slithered through the water at high speed.

"Is it the Kaima?" Anko wondered, not having actually gotten a good look at Ino's assailant due to the dark beneath the water.

"If it is, they are two of them and they're humanoid." Maemi informed as Naruto focused his senses on trying to observe his Daemons fighting whoever was under the water, "Also they're definitely ninja, they're using Mizu Bunshin down there." she added quickly.

Anko was impressed by the sensory abilities of the Imp, and figured she could trust the two genin to watch her back while she protected Ino. Naruto heard the Tatakainouta flare up and leaped to avoid a pair of hands grabbing his ankles, twisting in mid air to grapple with a longer pair of seemingly prehensile arms.

The blonde realized they were the same limbs that grabbed Ino before, but in mid air and without leverage compared to his assailant he was swiftly dragged under the surface before he could gather chakra. Under the water he could see slightly more clearly, despite the dark he could make out that his opponents both wore rebreathers which would give them an edge and the fact they both could use Mizu Bunshin made matters worse.

Naruto found himself quickly surrounded as he lashed out, dispersing a few but grappled by more, he felt his energy fading and growled deep within his chest. Desperately he reached for one of the Raito and pumped chakra into it, the salt water around him carrying the electricity to shock himself and his assailants.

The horned genin swam for the surface, and saw one of the assailants had made it there before him, and before he could reach the surface the man made a whirlpool with a ninjutsu Naruto did not recognize that pushed him deeper. On the surface Maemi scowled at the man as Shino sent his kikaichu to attack, but the enemy shinobi leaped back as he was clearly aware and cautious of the dangers of Aburame insects.

Ino woke up by this point, blearily looking at the enemy, "That's- wait he was on Kabuto-san's team! He went missing after the chunin exam preliminaries!" she realized, struggling to remember his name, "Which one? Yoroi Akado?" she asked.

Shino frowned, "I did not recognize him, but I trust your judgement, Ino-san." he said plainly, "However I do not see how knowing this helps to defeat him, all I remember is that he had the ability to drain chakra, he did not get the chance to showcase such Suiton no Jutsu against Kiba-san." he explained.

Maemi frowned, she could feel Naruto losing consciousness beneath the water, but knew that if she went under to save him she would likely be dispelled. Anko let Ino stand on her own and charged at Yoroi, palming a kunai in her right hand as she did, "So you're one of the traitors!" the woman snarled as she leaped at the young man and swung her blade at his neck.

Yoroi became a splash of water as the kunai sunk into him, and a pair of hands grabbed Anko to drag her under. Yoroi frowned as he frowned himself holding a log under the water, carefully leaning back and letting it go to let its buoyancy send it to the surface before switching positions with another Mizu Bunshin via Kawarimi in time for it to be destroyed by snakes summoned by the Konoha tokujonin.

Misumi, his teammate signed at him that they should retreat, having needed to use far more chakra than they expected to deal with Naruto and Yoroi nodded. A protracted engagement against Anko alone might be possible for them, but with two other shinobi, even only genin, it was not worth sticking around.

Maemi frowned, "They retreated, and I think someone just rescued Naruto-sama." she informed quickly, saying the second part with some relief, "Whoever the third person is took him to shore separately from where the other two retreated towards." she informed.

Ino sighed, "Thank goodness, we should go find him then and thank whoever that is." she said, she may find Naruto strange but she didn't wish harm upon him by any means. Maemi nodded in agreement, if needed she was sure she could have gotten some oxygen to the horned blonde before he drowned but she was still grateful to whoever had provided assistance.

Naruto opened his eyes, not sure how much time had passed. The last thing he remembered was a pair of sad onyx eyes, so he presumed whoever they belonged to had rescued him. The fact he needed rescuing grated on his nerves, it seemed even with predictive abilities a concerted effort to push him into an unfavorable situation was still enough to overwhelm him.

As he lamented his inability to simply overpower his opponents he glanced around the room he was in, it seemed like the inside of a rather humble shack. His clothes were intact, the necklace he'd won from Tsunade was still around his neck, his armor and weapons weren't stolen, and the pretty purple haired girl wrapped in bandages was just in the other part of the shack.

Naruto sat up, he could smell food cooking and his stomach growled in response. He closed his eyes and focused on his hearing for a moment, detecting no danger but hearing foot falls approaching the shack. The blonde sniffed the air, trying to tell who was coming, he smelled the ocean primarily, but he recognized Maemi's scent and a certain smell of rot he had come to associate with Shino due to his strange wound-like mark.

The hermaphrodite groaned and got up, gathering his things as someone knocked on the door and the purple haired girl, he presumed the one who had saved him, answered it to find Anko, "Sorry to bother you, but we have reason to believe our ally was brought here." the kunoichi said politely.

"I'm okay! She rescued me I think!" Naruto called out quickly, startling the girl who wasn't even aware he had awoken yet. The blonde came out of the part of the shack he had been resting in, "Thanks for that by the way," he added with a forced smile, "I'm a little embarrassed I needed the help though." he confessed.

The girl nodded hesitantly, "Are you okay then?" she asked.

Naruto nodded, "I'll be fine, still a little groggy." he confessed.

Anko wondered why the girl had been diving at night, and so close to where they were attacked. It was an odd coincidence but she didn't want to begin interrogating someone who saved a Konoha ninja, "Well, we're grateful for the assistance," she trailed off, trying to make it clear she was probing for a name.

The girl frowned, "It's no trouble, I just happened to be there at the time." she said suspiciously, "If that's all, then I take it you'll be leaving?" she asked. Naruto frowned and glanced hungrily at the pot of food, but he didn't want to impose too much and his team was already there so he nodded.

"Actually," Anko interrupted, "you almost drowned." she pointed out, "If it's not too much trouble could he rest here for just a bit longer while we go meet our client?" she requested.

Naruto shook his head, "I don't wanna impose y'know, but uh, I am pretty hungry." he confessed, scratching the skin around his right horn, "I'd rather buy you food to thank you for saving me though." he added with a laugh, "Ah, I didn't even catch your name." he pointed out.

The girl sighed, "I have the food to spare I suppose, and it's Isaribi." she said, sounding slightly bothered by the idea of having guests.

Anko nodded, "Thank you," she began, reaching into her coat and pulling out some ryo, "you can have this for the trouble." she offered.

Isaribi shook her head, "It's fine, but please leave." she said curtly, clearly not enjoying having the company.

Maemi frowned, "Well, I'd like to stick close to Naruto-sama. We're bound in a way." she explained and the purple haired girl sighed but nodded in agreement.

Anko put the money back and turned to leave, taking Shino and Ino with her to go meet their client. Naruto was glad they were okay too and sat down near the food, "I'm seriously grateful to you y'know." he told the bandaged girl with a sincere smile, "Oh yeah, I'm Naruto by the way." he added.

"It just happened." Isaribi said, dismissing the gratitude simply. Maemi wondered why the girl was so withdrawn, she smelled a lot like the sea she lived by so the Muse assumed she must go diving quite a lot.

Naruto shook his head at what he perceived as modesty, "Regardless of why, you saved me." he pointed out, despite his annoyance at needing rescuing he was grateful, "So seriously, thank you, Isaribi-neechan." he reiterated.

Isaribi frowned as she dished up a bowl for the blonde, almost doing the same for the Muse but the Imp shook her head to show she was fine, "What are you shinobi even doing in such a remote place?" she asked, and from where her eyes glanced Maemi could tell the girl was curious about the horns and her own odd appearance.

Naruto accepted the food gratefully, "We were hired for a mission. We need to deal with that Kaima nonsense." he explained before starting to eat.

Isaribi's frown turned to a scowl, "You should quit," she said as she averted her gaze, "it won't end well if you go up against that thing." she warned, her tone indicating a particular hatred for the Kaima. Maemi was confused since she could sense some of that hatred was directed from Isaribi to Isaribi, a confusing prospect given the topic.

Naruto finished his mouthful, Hinata and Maemi had been helping his etiquette some lately, "No can do, besides you don't have to worry about me." he assured with a feral grin, "These horns aren't just for show!" he laughed, "You're a great cook by the way." he complimented as he returned to eating.

Isaribi looked at the horns curiously, "Why do you have such horns?" she wondered, the feral appearance of the young blonde making her curious.

"They're a blessing from Slaanesh-kaasama, my Kajo no Kami." Naruto explained proudly, "They signify I'm fit to command Kajo no Tenshi, they're like a crown I guess." he added before going back to eating.

"They look more fitting for some kind of bakemono than one blessed by a Kami." Isaribi commented dryly, glancing suspiciously at Maemi.

"Humans would tend to think such things, but Naruto-sama has saved an entire land from tyranny once before." Maemi explained, "He's the one who killed Gato and freed the people of Nami no Kuni. They even built a shrine to Slaanesh-sama, although they prefer the title Yorokobi-sama as it's easier for them to pronounce." she informed.

Isaribi continued to frown, "Humans do tend to be prejudiced against those who are different." she agreed sadly, "But they really just accepted you for killing their enemy?" she asked, curiosity peaked. Maemi was surprised to notice some hope coming from the girl at the last sentence.

Naruto nodded as he finished another mouthful of the stew, he wasn't big on vegetables still but he didn't mind them as an ingredient too much, "Yeah, it probably helps that Maemi-chan and I taught them about Slaanesh-kaasama." he answered, "Set aside despair and wrath, and abandon the false promises of change. Enjoy the now and vindicate your own life with pleasure." he preached cheerfully.

"False promises of change?" Isaribi asked quietly, losing hope a little bit.

Naruto nodded again, "Yeah, pursuing your arts to perfect them is one thing, but hoping for reality to change to suit your whims is a bit, uh, I dunno, kind of childish I guess." he explained, scratching the skin around his right horn as he looked thoughtful, "It's kind of hard to explain and understand, but despair and hope are just two sides of the same worthless coin." he added with some of his own moroseness leaking through.

Isaribi just frowned more, "How does that even work? You can't become perfect if you don't change yourself." she pointed out, curious as to how the mindset of the young blonde worked.

Naruto shrugged, "I guess, but promising to change and actually putting in effort to become perfect are two very different things." he pointed out, "Besides, even after I become the perfect shinobi I'll still be me at my core. If you don't try to improve you'll just stagnate, and rot." he finished sadly.

Isaribi was confused by apparent contradictory dislike for both despair and hope, as well as the dislike for both stagnation and change. To her it seemed like the blonde had some kind of cognitive dissonance, "I don't think I understand," she confessed honestly, "but I think you should just leave." she added.

Naruto shook his head, "Failure isn't an option, my mission is to find and stop whatever has been attacking ships in the area." he responded, "What kind of perfect shinobi would I be if I turned away from the mission just because the enemy got the jump on me once?" he asked rhetorically.

"Besides," Maemi spoke up, "it seems like the Kaima might just be the work of some nukenin. Using Suiton no Jutsu to act as a Kaima to terrorize people for some reason." she explained, taking note that the bandaged girl didn't seem even slightly surprised at that deduction.

"Well, they already almost killed you once." Isaribi pointed out, "Aren't you scared they might succeed next time?" she asked.

"Shinobi are those who cross the bounds of life and death regularly," Naruto answered calmly, "to be honest fighting against opponents who can potentially kill me is thrilling." he confessed with a nervous chuckle, "I really do enjoy it, I feel like every time I defeat dangerous opponents, a worthy foe, I prove that I'm getting closer to perfection." he explained in an oddly cheerful tone for the topic.

Isaribi was a bit concerned by that answer, "Are you sure you're human?" she asked hesitantly.

Naruto blinked owlishly at the question, taken aback, "I think so." he said, frowning and looking dejected by the question, "I still care about the people I love, and it's not like I have this desire to subjugate people or cause suffering." he explained, "But I enjoy the thrill of the fight, hearing the sounds of battle, hearts racing, blood pumping. I don't know why but it just feels right. The only pleasure I take out of killing is when they're actively trying to harm people I care about, and if they're just trying to protect their loved ones like I am then it feels wrong y'know."

Maemi could tell the question combined with Naruto's recent killing of Raiga and the young boy who cared for Raiga was a sore point, but she could see that his obvious dejection over not being considered human had at least made Isaribi feel guilty. The bandaged girl sighed, "I'm sorry if I offended," she apologized, "but if you aren't a human, I think I'd rather be what you are." she complimented, startling the Muse into realizing the girl had a lot of disgust and hatred directed at herself.

The Imp was curious about this, but wasn't sure how to pry into it, "Well, Naruto-sama is Kajo no Ninso, a champion marked by Slaanesh-sama. You could become like him if you emulate him." she explained instead.

Isaribi looked surprised, "Wait, him?" she asked, turning on Naruto, "You're a boy?" she queried and the blonde shrugged.

"I'm a hermaphrodite, another blessing of Slaanesh-kaasama." Naruto explained as he scratched the skin around his right horn nervously.

Isaribi frowned in confusion, but Maemi was pleased to note that Naruto had made the girl curious about Slaanesh. The Muse supposed their were benefits to being as kind as the young blonde champion was.

Naruto finished the food, "Anyway, thanks again for helping out, and the food too." he said gratefully, "To be honest though, you seem really unhappy here, but I don't know what your reasons are for staying so I won't pry too much, but let me know if I can help y'know." he offered as he stood up to leave.

Isaribi said nothing, getting up to leave as well as Maemi followed the horned blonde. Naruto however was startled by the graffiti on the outside of the shack, he frowned as he realized even he had never been treated so poorly by the villagers of Konoha. He couldn't help but wonder if that was because they were less cruel than whoever did this, or because they'd been punished in the past for trying.

Seeing the words Maemi was starting to get an idea for why the bandaged girl was so depressed, "Why is this even here?" she wondered, curious if the girl would answer. Isaribi seemed like she wasn't going to bother and simply closed up the shack and turned to leave.

Everything about the situation bothered Naruto, and he wondered what he could do about it. He wondered if there was anything he even could do about it, his situation in Konoha had improved greatly after the Chunin Exams but many non-shinobi villagers still regarded him with cold eyes. It was why he asked Karin to oversee construction and let Hinata do groceries, it was why Kin had done the groceries before Hinata had moved in.

As he considered this he almost missed the sound of violence picking up, it wasn't directed at him and didn't register to the Tatakainouta so he almost missed it, but when he turned and saw a group of children shouting at Isaribi and calling her a monster he tried to set aside his rage as he moved to see what was going on. Then he saw the rock being thrown at the bandaged girl and he saw red, he leaped at the flying stone and snatched it out of the air with a livid expression.

"What is wrong with you damned brats!?" Naruto snapped, crushing the rock in his grip as his killing intent flared beyond his control. The snarling expression baring his fangs and slit pupils combined with his malicious aura terrified the children, who all turned and fled with cries of terror as they called him some variant of monster.

The blonde growled, the same bone that allowed him to purr vibrating in his chest to create a bestial rumble as he struggled to restrain his wrath at what he'd witnessed. Isaribi was surprised to be rescued but scowled, "You shouldn't have done that, they'll only get worse." she insisted.

"You can't just let people treat you like that!" Naruto snapped in response, "Ignoring hurtful words and acting tough is one thing, but letting them physically harm you is another." he added with a scowl of his own.

"It's only natural, I was spirited away and returned." Isaribi explained, "So it's natural that humans would resent me, blame me for all the relatives who didn't return." she reasoned, justifying the way she was treated as she dusted herself off.

The realization that the bandaged girl was being blamed for something beyond her control struck a familiar note for the blonde and he grit his teeth, "Fuck what's natural then," he decided, "I don't care about that crap." he said firmly.

"You're hardly natural yourself." Isaribi pointed out dryly, "Just leave me alone. Humans never accept those who are different from them into their groups." she argued.

"Bullshit!" Naruto snapped in response, "Did my team look like me? No, but they still came to check on me after you saved me, and they were grateful." he pointed out, "In fact, come with me." he ordered.

Isaribi's eyes widened, "What?" she asked, baffled by the demand.

"You saved me, so I'm saving you." Naruto insisted, "My friends and I are plenty different, but we're still accepted and we accept each other. We don't agree on everything, we worship different Kami and those Kami bless us in different ways, but we work together for the good of our home." he insisted.

Isaribi narrowed her eyes and frowned, "I-I can't." she refused, "I don't have to explain myself to you, but I can't just leave." she insisted.

Naruto scowled, "I owe you one for saving me, so let me save you." he demanded, Maemi smirked at the situation. The blonde having a hero complex wasn't very fitting for a Chaos Champion, but ironically served their purposes better than if he was merely playing at being a hero. His sincere desire to help the downtrodden that he could relate to resonated with his words and the genuine sincerity only served to enhance his preternatural charisma.

Isaribi could barely believe she was considering it, and her eyes watered as she struggled to find the strength to refuse, "Please, just- I just want to be normal." she insisted sadly.

Naruto frowned, "Like those shitty brats?" he asked rhetorically, "Fuck that and fuck normal." he spat.

Isaribi took a deep breath, running out of ideas she decided to just try scaring the blonde off, although at this point she wasn't sure it would work, "Your concern is wasted on me," she said coldly, "because those kids are right." she informed as she pulled the bandages down from her face, "I am the Kaima." she said.

Naruto was startled, more so when Maemi mentally confirmed it wasn't a lie, "What?" he asked, too stunned to come up with a better question besides, "Why?"

Isaribi scowled, "What do you mean why? I am the Kaima! I kill people! I sink ships! Your mission is to stop me isn't it!?" she spat, getting ready for a fight she was prepared to lose.

Naruto narrowed his eyes with a frown as he tried to connect the dots, "I may be dense, and socially speaking I'm unrefined because I've only just started to learn better from people," he began calmly, "but I'm not stupid." he insisted, "Those two shinobi last night, they're the same assholes that were harassing you on the mainland, aren't they?" he asked, the surprise on Isaribi's face confirming it, "They're using you, the fact you feel guilt is enough for me to know that." he informed, leaving out that Maemi was the reason he knew about the guilt.

Isaribi stammered, trying to find the words to argue. In a panic she turned towards the water and ran, only to find herself bound in bonds of purple chakra, "Leave me alone!" she demanded frantically, embarrassed and alarmed by how the chakra cords rubbed against her as she tried to escape.

"Not until you let me help you!" Naruto answered in his own demanding tone, "My mission is to put a stop to the Kaima-" he began to argue.

"Well then kill me." Isaribi interrupted, trying to hide how scared she was of him following through with it, "I'm the Kaima, and you'll have to kill me to stop me." she insisted.

Naruto was taken aback, "Like hell!" he snapped after a moment, expression turning angry again, "Those assholes will just keep doing what they're doing with or without you! Killing the person they're using doesn't stop them!" he pointed out logically, "Quit being so annoying about this damn it, I can't stand seeing beautiful things in pain unless they're enjoying it!" he added.

Isaribi flushed at that part, "Wha- beautiful?" she asked with a raised eyebrow, taken off guard by the sudden compliment before she became angry, "You shallow-!" she growled before she transformed and broke the chakra bonds. Her body became covered in green and yellow scales, her arms morphing into large fin-like claws, a frilled dorsal fin bursting from the top of her head and her visage becoming monstrous, "Still find me beautiful?" she asked rhetorically.

To her surprise Naruto nodded, "Yeah, you're still you." he answered bluntly, "Do I look like the type to be scared off by some inhuman features?" he asked with a raised eyebrow.

Isaribi stared blankly at the blonde for a moment before her expression became flustered and she retreated into the water, swimming away at high speed. Naruto cursed under his breath and moved to chase after her, running across the surface of the water.

The chase was interrupted when the blonde heard the Tatakainouta flare up and leaped back to evade grasping prehensile hands, this time Naruto swiftly unsheathed his Raito and severed the hands. He scowled at the fact they merely deformed back into the water of a Mizu Bunshin, noting that his opponents were smart enough to be cautious of him.

Reluctantly Naruto pulled back to the shore, understanding that even as skilled as he was becoming, fighting an opponent on their preferred turf was a bad idea. What mostly affected his decision was his desire to avoid accidentally hurting Isaribi, so he retreated to find his team and inform them of what he learned.

Anko was doing a good job of hiding her discomfort as Naruto explained the situation, but Maemi noticed it of course. Ino was starting to feel silly for being afraid of the other blonde as he expressed a desire to rescue Isaribi, "Even with all that, she confessed to killing people." the Yamanaka pointed out.

"So what?" Naruto asked bluntly, "I've killed people too." he pointed out, "We're shinobi, we have to kill eventually, sometimes even people who might not deserve it." he added.

Shino nodded, "Naruto-san has a point, and even if he had killed Isaribi-san he's right that it would not stop the ones using her from continuing their activities." he pointed out, "However, I do not know how you intend to help this girl." he added.

Anko winced and clutched her neck, "Are you okay, Anko-chan?" Naruto asked in concern, his concern for others just making Ino feel even more foolish.

Maemi frowned and looked closer at where the kunoichi was clutching, "That's a Juin!" she pointed out.

Anko flinched at the accusatory tone, "Sandaime Hokage-sama used Fuinjutsu to lock it down, but being around here has weakened that." she confessed.

Naruto frowned, vaguely remembering what he knew of Sasuke and Aoki, "Do you want me to help?" he offered, startling the tokubetsu jonin.

"What? How the hell are you supposed to help?" Anko asked incredulously, "This Juin isn't child's play!" she snapped, irritated more by the pain caused by the Juin than the offer to help.

Maemi smirked, "To a Daemon it is." she pointed out, "However, you'll have to become bound to Slaanesh-sama." she warned, a slight bluff since any of the ruinous powers would do.

Anko narrowed her eyes in suspicion, "I've had this damned thing for too long." she decided finally, "Alright, do it." she demanded.

"Naruto-sama, I'll need your blood to call another Muse, it seems her Juin isn't complete." Maemi explained, internally she considered it a good thing as if it was it likely would have called another Daemon to it by now. Naruto cut open his right thumb on his right horn and offered the blood to his Familiar, who took it and wiped it on the Juin before weaving hand signs, "Kuchiyose no Fuin!" she announced.

Anko jolted in sudden pain and her eyes rolled back before she fell unconscious, Naruto was startled but managed to catch her, "Is she okay?" he asked, worried as he checked the mark on her neck. It shifted from three tomoe to a glowing pink mark of Slaanesh, then the glow faded and it was a dark purple that was almost black.

Maemi nodded, "She just needs to come to an accord with the Imp I put in the Juin." she assured, Ino frowned in concern for the older kunoichi.

"Well, now what?" Shino asked, "If I had known we would need to track Isaribi-san, I would have placed a female kikaichu on her." he added, lamenting that he hadn't thought to do that.

Naruto frowned, "Ino-chan, protect Anko-chan." he ordered as he stood up and handed the woman to the other blonde, "I can't track by scent underwater, but Isaribi-chan mentioned something about being spirited away before she revealed she was the Kaima." he explained, "There has to be a hideout around here where we can find answers."

Shino nodded in agreement, "In that case, I think our only lead is Akuma Island." he said, "I have been scouting a little, as near as I can tell no one goes there and they hesitate to talk about it." he explained, "It's not much to go on, but it's all I have." he finished with a shrug.

"It'll have to do." Naruto said, "Do we have a boat?" he asked.

"Anko-sensei managed to get that boat you swindled back from under the water, but that's it." Ino answered, not sure if she liked the plan but she wasn't willing to argue.

"You best come with us then in case Anko-chan wakes up on the way." Naruto decided, eager to get moving.

Anko awoke on the way to the island with a start, "Holy fuck!" she verbalized, looking around in a slight panic, "Well, this is a definite improvement." she mused once she calmed down, cracking her neck with a moan, "Oh my new Kami this is so much better." she muttered, "There's still some phantom pain, but I am all in with this whole Yorokobi-sama thing." she decided.

Naruto grinned, "Sorry we didn't help you out sooner." he apologized.

Anko waved off his concern, "Don't sweat it, very few people knew about this and I was hesitant to even ask how Sasuke got his under control." she confessed, revealing that she could have asked sooner but chose not to. Maemi was glad she hadn't, it meant she'd managed to get a Muse in the woman and it seemed like they were getting along already, "Where are we heading?" she asked suddenly, glancing around.

"On a boat to Akuma Island," Shino answered, "because I ascertained through scouting for information that this is likely our best lead on finding the source of the people being spirited away." he explained.

Anko sighed, "Right, I guess I should explain that." she decided, surprising the three genin, "This whole Kaima thing, I think I remember now, you guessed right on where we need to go if I do remember, because that's where Orochimaru's lab is." she explained.

"Orochimaru is involved!?" Naruto asked, he still wanted to fight the Sannin but he knew he wasn't technically ready yet.

Anko nodded, "Those two shinobi, Yoroi and probably Misumi," she began, "they were on Kabuto Yakushi's team. A known spy for Orochimaru, they disappeared too and it seems they're in cahoots as well." she explained, "Orochimaru is definitely behind all this."

Ino shivered, "Uh, doesn't that put this a little bit above our pay grade?" she asked.

"I'm not leaving Isaribi-chan in that bastards hands!" Naruto snapped as he pulled out his combat drugs, "These help me focus, they're good combat drugs, now who wants one?" he asked, Ino immediately flinched away from the white pills.

"What actually are they?" Anko asked curiously, finding them oddly familiar.

"Methamphetamine and cocaine." Maemi answered with a shrug, she was pretty sure the compound was referred to as Pervitin in a few worlds.

Anko blinked owlishly, "You're insane." she told Naruto bluntly, "I'll take one." she added with a feral grin, accepting the combat stimulant.

Shino cocked his head to the side, "It would not benefit me nearly as much, but I will take one just in case." he accepted after a moment.

Ino felt a little pressured but hesitantly took one, she vaguely recalled Naruto eating a handful of them during his preliminary fight back in the Chunin Exams and he was still alive, so she figured just taking the one should be safe.

"Don't take them until we're actually about to fight." Naruto added, used to taking them enough to know how the dosage worked by now.

Soon enough the Konoha ninja infiltrated the lab, Maemi riding on Naruto's back in case combat happened quickly when Anko had a thought, "Why aren't you in a Juin? This seems more convenient." she queried.

"I don't have the materials or ingredients required to make that kind of Juin." Maemi answered honestly, "Also I'd probably have needed Aoki's help." she added with a sneer, "Now that you have a friend of mine in there and I've seen the inner workings closely I could probably manage it, but I still don't know where I'd get that genetic material." she explained.

Anko frowned, "Genetic material? I knew Orochimaru was twisted." she grumbled with disgust, much happier with the new Muse in her head over the pain caused by Orochimaru's Juin.

It didn't take long for the group to find a room with multiple bodies floating in large cylindrical tanks of what appeared to be water, likely on display so that the changes happening to them could be recorded. Maemi noticed that none of these experiments had to do with Chaos, indicating that Orochimaru was either being conservative about branching out his research or this lab hadn't received any new orders. Although the Muse supposed it was also possible that they simply hadn't found anything yet.

While they examined the bodies a trap door opened up beneath them, Naruto cursed as he felt embarrassed to be caught by something so basic as he fell down alongside Shino and Ino. Anko on the other hand got behind Isaribi with a shunshin, "You know, you should be nicer to those trying to save you." she scolded the girl who had pulled the rope for the trap poor.

Isaribi scowled in response, "He can't save me." she insisted coldly.

Anko chuckled, "You'd be surprised, he managed to save me." she confessed with some admiration, "Not even the Sandaime Hokage-sama or Gama Sennin could accomplish that little feat." she pointed out, although she supposed they hadn't had Daemons.

Isaribi was surprised and hesitant at that, but still braced herself for a losing battle with the older kunoichi. Anko frowned as the new Imp in her Juin mentally informed her of the emotions the girl was feeling, encouraging the jonin to talk the girl down.

"Naruto-kun is right you know." Anko began, "You're being used, Orochimaru won't give you what you want. He's a liar." she explained.

Isaribi seemed confused, "Orochimaru?" she asked, wondering what the other purple haired woman was talking about.

Anko stiffened in surprise, "Shit, he's not even here, is he?" she realized with a sigh and a shake of her head, "I should have known." she grumbled, "Whatever you were promised, they're lying." she tried to reason.

"What do you know!?" Isaribi snapped, "This is my only chance to be human again!" she cried, eyes watering.

Anko winced, deciding that having empathic powers was a hassle, "I understand a bit better than you'd think," she said, subconsciously reaching up to her neck, "but being modified by Orochimaru's underlings doesn't make you less of a human. Please don't argue with me on that." she said sadly.

Isaribi scowled, but recognized the woman did seem to understand her thoughts a little, "You-? What did he do to you?" she queried hesitantly.

Anko sighed, "You probably got it worse than me," she confessed, "but I was marked with this Juin thing for way too long. Due to my association with him I wasn't fully trusted back home." she decided to reveal, "It was never too bad, but even the ones who trusted me tended to keep me at arms length since even I couldn't know for certain whether I was still me." she explained, "If anyone understands you though, it's Naruto." she finished.

Isaribi frowned, remembering the sympathy the blonde showed and his own strange appearance, "I don't want to cope with being a bakemono, I just want to be human, I just want to be normal again." she insisted, "I'm not strong like you shinobi, I just can't deal with it!" she added.

Anko got an idea, "You want to fit in." she said, a look of surprise on the younger purple haired girl's face confirmed it, "Well, Naruto-kun can give you somewhere to fit in and feel normal, if nothing else." she assured, although the fact she was probably helping the blonde with his little harem idea occurred to her she knew from Kin that the hermaphrodite wouldn't try to force the girl into anything.

The fact Isaribi blushed indicated Naruto had in some way expressed something to that effect, "I-I guess he did call me beautiful." she revealed, looking nervous, but still not convinced.

"I'll warn you that he's very open and honest about that kind of thing," Anko began with a smirk, "so if you want those kinds of affections he's got a whole household you'll have to compete with for his attention." she added, "He seems to have the stamina to keep them all happy though." she finished with a perverted giggle.

Isaribi was shocked by that revelation, "That's not exactly normal." she pointed out dryly.

Anko grinned, taking victory in the fact the girl was comfortable enough to be annoyed, "Fuck normal, come on, show me where this asshole who did this to you is." she requested, "Who knows, maybe we can figure out a way to reverse it, maybe even force him to do it." she added, offering her hand.

Isaribi narrowed her eyes suspiciously, but after a moment of further hesitation she accepted it.

Naruto unsheathed his Raito as soon as his feet touched the ground, listening for any change in the Tatakainouta. Instead of that he was greeted by mocking words instead.

"Well well well, if it isn't the peace addicted genin of Konoha." Yoroi called as he stepped out from behind a pillar, brandishing a wakizashi with an oddly tight curve. Maemi focused on it, feeling something from it she warned Naruto that it was a Daemon weapon.

Naruto raised an eyebrow, "Addicted to peace?" he asked, "I'm addicted to a lot of things, peace is not one of them." he retorted.

"Hold on," Shino spoke up, "I wish to challenge this one." he said calmly, surprising Ino.

Naruto shrugged, "Suit yourself, we should hurry and catch up with Anko-chan." he agreed, "Just be careful." he warned.

Shino surprised Ino further by scoffing, "At this point I just hope he's an actually worthy opponent for me." he muttered, kikaichi swarming down his sleeves as he began to approach Yoroi.

Ino followed Naruto out of the chamber they'd fallen into, not willing to argue with both of them in regards to the reckless idea. She didn't sense any other chakra nearby, besides which Aburame were supposed to be good scouts and Naruto had displayed inhuman sensory abilities himself.

Yoroi chuckled, "You really think you can beat me alone, genin?" he asked mockingly.

Shino raised an eyebrow, "You lost to Kiba-san, he was weaker than I am now." he pointed out.

Yoroi snarled at that, "I was forced to hold back, and I haven't stagnated since then either." he warned, taking a rather basic kenjutsu stance.

Shino shrugged, "You might rot now though." he warned before suddenly breathing out a Dokugiri, surprising the older shinobi as Aburame were not traditionally known for using ninjutsu like that. Yoroi leaped back to avoid the cloud, using caution since he was unaware of what kind of compound the Aburame was capable of forming.

Then the young man was startled as something dripped on him, he looked up and saw some insects had sprayed something above him. Yoroi frowned as he realized the Dokugiri was simply a chakra intensive feint, but wondered what could possibly be worth such a diversion. Then he noticed his skin was going numb wherever the insects venom touched, he realized for it to have such an effect it would have to be incredibly potent and backed up further.

Yoroi realized why Shino was so confident, but wasn't about to give up so easily. The man noticed the younger ninja charging him and slammed his palm to the ground, releasing a wave of chakra through the ground to paralyze the boy. Shino however simply dispersed as a pair of senbon quietly hit Yoroi from behind, one in the right thigh and one in the left calf.

"Did you really think I'd charge you openly?" Shino asked from a cloud of insects, the larger breed capable of forming a carpet for him to stand on for limited flight as long as he fed them extra chakra, "I'll have to thank Naruto-san for that combat drug though, that strange wave of paralyzing chakra might have gotten me otherwise." he mused.

Yoroi scowled as he fell to the ground, "What the-?" he wondered as he pulled out the senbon, realizing they were poisoned he checked the injuries and noticed necrosis setting into the flesh around the small injuries.

"It is not enough for me to simply use insects as my allies," Shino informed, "I have decided I shall also hunt like them. Methods that have worked for them for thousands of years will continue to do so for me." he explained, "I have no need to cling to concepts like honor or mercy, but if you think you have information worth capturing you alive over I will treat you and take you prisoner." he offered.

Yoroi began to sweat nervously, shocked he'd been outplayed so easily by a mere genin. Desperately he threw his wakizashi, mentally cursing as the Aburame simply evaded it.

"I see, I have no issue with killing you then." Shino answered the action with a kunai, Yoroi managed to grab it out of the air but a second hidden behind the first lodged into his right arm and his fingers went numb. The Aburame slowly and calmly retrieved the Daemon infused wakizashi, inspecting it curiously as he approached, "Interesting, I was an ill fit match for you from the start. I doubt Ojisama will consider you a worthy foe, but I suppose I will not walk away from this empty handed." he mused as he simply walked towards his fallen opponent.

Yoroi attempted to stumble back, but three of his limbs were rendered useless and he was practically defenseless when the Aburame plunged the Daemon blade into his throat.

"Anko-chan, it's been a while." A green haired scientist with a short ponytail greeted the tokujonin with faux amicability, "Now, Isaribi-chan, what is the meaning of this?" he asked dangerously.

"Amachi you leech, still working for that bastard?" Anko greeted with cold anger, her new inner Daemon was insisting she said aside wrath and simply enjoy making the scientist suffer. She couldn't really find a reason to disagree but held off for a moment, caution dictating she scan the room for traps.

Amachi smirked, "Unlike you, I am actually useful to Orochimaru-sama." he bragged, "Now, it seems you've somehow turned poor little Isaribi-chan against me." he added, narrowing his eyes at the younger of the purple haired women, "You know you can't return to being human without me." he reminded her coldly.

Isaribi shivered with fear, "I'm done being manipulated by your false promises of change." she insisted.

"Attagirl!" Naruto called out from down the hall, startling everyone in the room before he lead a confused Ino into the room with a feral grin on his face, "I told you I smelled Anko-chan this way." he added smugly to Ino.

Anko rolled her eyes at the blonde, amused by his antics, "You're outnumbered, Amachi, give it up." she warned, "I'm guessing Orochimaru isn't even around to back you up here?" she assumed with a raised eyebrow.

Amachi scowled at the Konoha ninja, "An accurate guess, but having him deal with you would be overkill." he retorted, a slight smirk tugging at his lips. Naruto's eyes widened in alarm and he suddenly grabbed Maemi off his back to push her to Ino and shoved both out the door they came in, then he leaped towards the purple haired women and shoved them too as an explosion rocked the wall.

"Naruto!" Ino cried out in alarm as the other blonde was buried under the rubble, Maemi winced but could tell her master was still alive thankfully.

"That idiot!" Anko snapped before turning on Misumi, the young man standing in entrance to the room he'd made with the explosion with a smirk on his face. The tokujonin was on him in an instant, "Sen'ei Jashu!" she declared, large vivid cobras bursting from her left sleeve to bite the enemy ninja as she palmed a kunai.

Amachi used the opportunity to approach Isaribi with a smirk of his own as Misumi retreated from the enraged Konoha kunoichi, Ino moved to help her fellow blonde out from under the rubble. Anko tossed her kunai at the retreating enemy and turned to leap at Amachi next, only to be startled as the man suddenly became a green scaled monster and shot a blast of high pressure water out of his mouth and into her solar plexus.

The jonin mentally cursed herself for assuming the scientist would still just be a scientist after working for Orochimaru for so long as her back struck the wall behind her from the force of the water, "You thought Isaribi was the only Kaima? She's merely the prototype, I am the finished product!" he bragged.

Ino yelped in surprise and jumped back as the rubble suddenly exploded from the force of Naruto's chakra flaring, the purple energy swirling around his form as his killing intent focused on Amachi. The scientist turned Kaima took an involuntary step back from the depth of the malicious intent coming from the blonde, "Amachi, wasn't it?" Naruto asked as he formed a Rasengan in his right hand and stabilized it with his left, "I challenge you." he decided.

Amachi scowled and flung his arms out, unleash a hail of scales at the blonde as he was charged, Naruto covered his face with his left arm since he didn't need to see and charged through them. The scientist unleashed a blast of water since he rightfully assumed the blonde couldn't see, but Naruto heard it coming and hopped to the side to avoid it before leaping the last of the distance between them and thrust his Rasengan into the scaled chest of the scientist.

Misumi rushed to try dealing with Anko, throwing his left arm out to grapple her as he brandished the kunai she'd thrown with his right. However Shino arrived and forced him to back off or lose the arm with his new wakizashi, allowing Anko the time to weave hand signs as Amachi was sent flying into a wall.

Ino felt a little useless in that moment as Anko unleashed a Karyudan after the retreating Misumi and Naruto thrust his left hand towards the wounded Amachi, "Shibari no Ashikase!" the horned blonde announced, however his six cords of binding chakra were halted by something he hadn't expected.

"Kuchiyose!" Amachi shouted in a panic, summoning a mass of water that took the chakra cords instead. Naruto frowned in confusion as his jutsu was apparently useless against whatever this mass of water was, "Umibozu," Amachi began with a cough of pain, "now you're all as good as dead. Nothing can defeat this!" he insisted smugly.

Shino frowned, "I do not think I have the means to prove him wrong." he muttered, a little annoyed at that. Isaribi felt despair creeping up at his words.

"Well I do." Naruto snapped, brandishing his Raito.

"You can't just cut Umibozu you fool! It's a being of water!" Amachi laughed, but he was cut off by a pained wince. Even with the Kaima form scales the Rasengan had done a lot of damage, he was glad he'd been able to call the Umibozu because he was done and transformed back into a human.

"Raikyu!" Naruto declared in response, unleashing a ball of Raiton chakra by tapping the two fanged blades together. The Umibozu was electrified, but after a moment the electricity dispersed and the water started to advance.

"Umibozu is no living creature," Amachi informed smugly, "you can't kill what isn't alive. It's simply water!" he bragged with a smug chuckle. Naruto scowled, but he knew no one else had the raw power required to deal with his opponent and tried to think of a way to deal with it.

"Karyudan!" Anko declared, unleashing a gout of flame at the mass of water in an attempt to evaporate it. Naruto leaped back to stand just in front of Isaribi, getting out of the way of the jonin's ninjutsu as he kept trying to think of something. With no other ideas he holstered his Raito and weaved hand signs.

"Raimeiton: Hakai Toppa!" Naruto announced the name of his jutsu and unleashed a chakra enhanced scream, the blast of high frequency vibrating air slammed into the Umibozu and sent water flying everywhere. At first he thought that was it, then he saw it gathering again and scowled.

However the jutsu gave Anko an idea, "I've got one more Karyudan in me," she began, "when I use it, hit it with that Hakai Toppa!" she ordered as she weaved hand signs. Naruto didn't fully understand why he was given the order, but he trusted Anko and moved to obey.

When his blast of high frequency air vibration hit her gout of flame, it became a massive conflaguration, Amachi stared in shock as the Umibozu was evaporating by dancing flames that seemed to scream at him. The fire came dangerously close to both Naruto and Amachi, but soon died down and caught a few remaining items in the lab.

The green haired scientist stared in shock as Anko collapsed to one knee and Naruto grinned at him, "So much for unkillable." the horned genin mocked.

Amachi had no fight left in him, he wondered where Misumi was and realized the coward had abandoned him. With a scowl the scientist raised his hands, "I surrender." he decided, figuring that was the only way he was getting out of this alive.

Naruto sighed when no new boons happened, "Figured you wouldn't be fucking worthy." he complained, "Alright, you're going to give Isaribi-chan what she wants right now." he ordered, surprising the purple haired young woman.

Amachi scoffed, "Even if you oafs hadn't destroyed my lab, I don't know how. We intended to dissect her when all was said and done." he answered bluntly, then he screamed in pain as his right hand was impaled to the wall by the left heel spur of the blonde hermaphrodite.

"Then why should I bother keeping you alive?" Naruto asked dangerously, reaching for his Raito.

Anko groaned as she forced herself to her feet, "Ibiki-san can probably get some information out of him on Orochimaru." she pointed out, pulling out some rope before glancing at Maemi and tossing it at the Imp, "You seem like you'd be good at this." she decided.

Maemi caught the rope, "Correct." she agreed, deciding not to argue with the exhausted jonin. The Muse moved to tie up the green haired scientist as Ino moved to help Anko move, the younger kunoichi offering a shoulder to lean on to help herself feel a bit useful at least.
