Toa Solaric: Welcome back to another chapter of Kiva- Dark Moon Over Bloody Sky.

Kiva- Dark Moon Over Bloody Sky

Wake 12: Silver Assassin's Return

In Night Raid's meeting room, Najenda was sitting in her chair with her Night Raid members excluding Tatsumi who had been put under house arrest.

"So, not only does this Kiva have an ally who is similar to him, but he could also change his armor and gain more power?" Najenda summarized. That means Kiva could be more menacing to the Revolution that anyone anticipated!

"I thought he would have become slower in that form," Leone said, bitter at the fact Kiva put a stink bomb on her. How could someone do something like that to a woman like herself!?

"Yeah, and you got outmaneuvered," Lubbock said. "But, I never imagined seeing another armored warrior in white."

Sheele is in deep thought about what she learned about the other armored individual like Kiva. 'How many of these armors are out there?' she thought to herself.

Even Akame herself was silent about the matter. She simply can't understand why Tatsumi would do such a thing. She knows that he is on board with Night Raid's mission, but this behavior of his threw her and everyone in confusion. How could he allow them to leave after being seen not only once, but twice…?

"Does it accompany any beast?" Bulat said.

"No, this one is different and completely caught me off-guard." the green haired man answered. "But she could be a monster underneath that suit, since I have never seen anyone being able to liquify the streets."

"That is just great…we got another monster on our hands…What in the world was that idiot thinking?!" Mine growls, frustrated.

"Maybe…Tatsumi thought about safety and tried to make sure you didn't get killed?" Sheele offered nervously.

"You gotta be kidding, Sheele…" Leone growled. "He pointed his blade at me! How is that supposed to keep us safe!? We could've taken them on!"

"B-But…what if Kiva knows? He already knew how we fight and act from our first encounter, thus knowing how to beat us…" Sheele said nervously. She doesn't like the idea but it is the only logical conclusion as to why Kiva was prepared when Leone tried to attack him behind his back.

"That's just—"

"You might be onto something, Sheele," Najenda replied, surprising Leone.

"WHAT!?"

"Don't get the wrong idea, Leone. But I knew that one of these days that your tactic to make someone buy you drink will come back to bite you eventually." Najenda replied.

"Ouch…" Lubbock remarked at the harsh words that made Leone flinch in response.

"That makes sense," Bulat remarked.

"What do we do now?" Akame asked.

"After what happened, we will have to be more careful if we come across Kiva and his ally again. But, Kiva knows how everyone fights and will use that again while we don't know his true combat capabilities. For now, keep an eye out while looking for any information about him." Najenda sternly said with a grimace.

Note that none of the Night Raid assassins liked the idea. But they didn't have much of a choice since Kiva is the first one to evade being killed, and retaliated against them, not only once but TWICE. And if they don't do something fast, the Empire will do something and the Revolutionary Army will be demolished.

The only thing that they can do is now buy their time until an opportunity opens for them.

(Instrumental)

In the shadow, there were three figures that were standing in what looks like a dark room. Though it's unknown who the other two are before focused on one who revealed to be none other than Raiga. His face was soon covered by the helmet of Kiva. The scene showed the Capital and then straight to the palace.

Oh oh oh oh oh ohh!

Oh oh oh oh oh ohh!

Raiga was standing looking over the heart of the capital and the people as the sun rising high over it.
Hikari mitsuketa kuuhaku no jikan!

Raiga was seen walking through the streets with a serious expression on his face. Flying above him was none other than Kivat the Third.

Mayoikonda chuuzuri no sekai!
The scene showed Fuuko is walking with chains on her wrists through a prison hallway and have despair look upon her face. The scene changed back to Raiga who continued his way through the street despite the cruel life shown on the street.

Shinjirareru kotae sagashimotomete. Tada samayotteru!

Soon the screen showed back to Fuuko who reached to end of the cell and couldn't struggle with her chains.

Yeah!

Yubi no sukima nigeru light! Yosomi shiteru hima mo nai!
The screen soon changed to Tatsumi with the Night Raid organization with their Teigu.
Uketa kizuna ato sae kate ni! Seijaku kirisaiteku!

The screen shift from Tatsumi and Night Raid to that of the Jeager members.
Dare mo kare mo Dead or alive!
The screen soon shifts to the throne room of the palace with Makoto and Honest while Budo and many imperial soldiers standing in the way.

Mamoru dake ja Can't survive!

Soon there is a sinister grin that can be seen on the Prime Minister's face.
I don't wanna lie to myself!
Raiga soon finds himself dropped into the darkness as the memories of his home was burned reoccurring in his mind.
Keep on the fight, get right! I'll never lose and cry!
He didn't notice that he was in front of Fuuko's cell as the young girl noticed someone in front of her cell.

Keep run up day and night! Time to rewrite!

Soon the sky turned crimson as a mysterious white hooded figure standing over an army of monsters before a screen shown a massive figure sitting on a throne.
No matter what anyone say!
I find my way! Yeah, never go away!

Soon the screen between Raiga and Fuuko shattered to revealed Kiva and IXA standing back to back with each other. Soon Kivat the Third appeared on the screen and sang.

(Never go away!)
Now, nobody can't stop me no way! Wasurete shimau koto no nai you ni!

The Revolutionary Army and the Imperial soldiers are fighting each other with the leading groups for each other; Night Raid and Jeager.
Nakushita mono subete torimodosu tame!

The screen shown inside Castle Doran was a throne with Kiva on it. Sitting nearby are the Arm Monsters in their human forms, Sayo, and Fuuko.
Rise suddenly in this world!

A child Raiga was on his knees in a ruin of the village and Bloody Rose was right beside him.
(I don't look back yeah)!

Kiva and his companions were back to back when they face against the white hooded man and army of a monster before the man raising his head to send chilling winds. Kiva's companions were knocked back while Kiva holding his ground.
Kurikaesu tabi no hate! Nouri ni nokotta shippai nante!

Kiva soon places a red fuestle into Kivat's mouth and jumps into the air before coming down at him with a Darkness Moon Break. The white hooded figure revealed golden claws charged at him as the two collided as the screen turn white.
Zenbu torikaese ima Turn over! Rise suddenly in this world! (I don't look back yeah)
The scene changed to a meadow as Raiga continued his walk with Kivat riding on his shoulder and turned back to see Sayo and Fuuko as the two girls ran up to him. This made Raiga smile before they continued with their travel.
Oh oh oh oh oh ohh!
Oh oh oh oh oh ohh!

A few days of house arrest passed for Tatsumi as the young man is currently doing push-ups alone in his room.

Due to not being able to do missions for about a month, and some training, Tatsumi decided focus more on training himself in his room. Not that he missed anything about doing missions for a month as he didn't need to worry about getting his identity exposed like the others.

To be honest, many members here wear brightly colored clothes when night comes around…they would be easily identified, Tatsumi reflected his thoughts over the Night Raid members.

This made him think back to the night when he encountered Kiva once again and saw him wielding another power that they didn't know. He did notice that form is a lot slower but Kiva still had enough time to counter against Leone, who tried to attack him from behind. Not to mention that his friend has an ally who is similar to him which surprised Tatsumi that Raiga has kept a lot of secrets from him.

Even though he didn't know how long the fight might be…it would bring the Imperial guards onto them if they fought for too long.

But at least, he learned how Sayo was doing and that gives him more relief. Even if Leone and others think lowly of him, learning Sayo's wellbeing is enough to endure the beating from Leone. She is safe back at the village and with her family, they could easily help Sayo with her trauma.

I hope that Raiga is alright… Tatsumi continued with his push-ups from the floor.

Meanwhile, someone is standing outside of the open gate through the Capital. The individual happens to be wearing a brown coat and cowboy hat.

"Finally reached the heart of this corrupted hellhole…" The stranger muttered, gazing around the place with a careful eye. "As much as their souls smells rotten, I can't simply let this place go to waste with this human war."

Elsewhere in the Capital, Leone was seen standing against an elderly man who was looking over his books. She is looking into the whereabouts of Raiga again and decided to visit someone who might have a connection.

"Are you sure that you don't know where he went, Doc?" asked Leone.

"He already left not long too ago after paying for my services." The doctor stated calmly. Even though he didn't reveal anything about the patients Raiga brings in as he knows that the three girls will likely be exploited by the Revolutionary Army against the young man who managed to rescue them.

"Did he come here with anyone else?" Leone asked.

"Not that I noticed." The doctor replied curly before Leone gripped his arm tightly.

"Are you sure?" Leone questioned sharply and coldly. "I know how well you doctors are protective of your clients. Is there anyone else with him?"

"I'm positive." The doctor answered with a stoic expression. "Now please let go of my arm. I have an appointment with another patient that I must attend to."

Leone stared hard into the doctor's eyes and saw no deception as the blonde let out a sigh and released his arm, before leaving through the front door.

The memory of Kiva slashing both her arms off is still fresh in her mind. It made her shake that the young man who accompanied Tatsumi is more than what he appeared. If it wasn't Lubbock reattaching her arms, she wouldn't have been able to stick on the frontlines any longer.

Not to mention that bastard threws a stink bomb at me…! That is the lowest thing that anyone could do to me! The blonde feels irritated at the memory of that experience.

"Damn, where could you be…" Leone growls in frustration as she tried to figure out where to search for him.

Just when she is about to continue her search, she heard a new voice.

"Oi! There she is!" A new voice called out from behind the blonde assassin. "Leone!" The blonde assassin's eyes shot open wide when he recognized the three men running toward her. "Pay off your tab!"

"Settle your gambling debts!"

"Give me back the money you conned from my brother!"

"Shit!" Leone cursed as she took off running from the likes of them. The blonde cannot believe that she would encounter 'them' here of all the places and she had no one to help distract them for her.

Leone dodged a bottle that was thrown at her before leaping over a man who pushing a wagon of cabbages. She spotted a few trash cans and jumped over them while her pursuers tripped over said trash cans.

Leone soon ducked down an alleyway as she held her breath.

"Shit! I lost sight of Leone!"

"That bitch! I will get her if it's the last thing I do!"

Sheele made her way over to Tatsumi's room with a food tray that she got from the kitchen. She volunteered to take care of bringing Tatsumi's food to his room since he can't go anywhere except the bathroom without someone watching him. Others were reluctant to volunteer for the job considering the fear of betrayal by the man who allowed their dangerous enemy to escape.

The purple haired woman approached the door before knocking it gently a couple of times.

"Tatsumi, it's me. I'm here with your lunch." she said.

"Okay."

With that, Sheele comes into Tatsumi's room and sees the young man was reading a book. She placed the plate on his table.

"Thank you, Sheele," Tatsumi said, placing his book down.

"You seem to be holding your own here," Sheele said, looking at his current appearance.

"Well, I'm going to be in my room for a whole month. At least, I know how to spend my time." Tatsumi said.

Unknown to them, Mine was hiding outside of Tatsumi's room. Even though she knows that Sheele can take care of herself, she was still concerned that Tatsumi might betray them again.

"Don't you miss being on missions?" Sheele asked.

"I do sometimes," Tatsumi answered. "But being here, I can least have some time thinking about how to approach missions."

"Oh? Like what?" Sheele asked curiously.

"For one, I thought about getting dark clothes for the nighttime," Tatsumi answered, making her blink in surprise. "No offense, Sheele. But doesn't wearing bright clothes make you easily spotted at night?"

This left Sheele frozen at his own words.

"Uhh…I never thought of it that way," Sheele stuttered nervously. But she does remember that there are times that she and Mine were spotted easily that they need to kill those who saw them in the act. It never crossed her mind that Mine's outfit might cause some attention in the dark considering how bright her clothes are at night.

'I see. It looks like it never crossed their minds…' Tatsumi thought, looking at her reaction.

"Well, Lubbock can easily blend in the forest, you know?" Sheele pointed out.

"True, but it will probably be bad if he's in the streets," Tatsumi remarked as this made Sheele flinch.

"Say, if Night Raid is worried about their identities exposed on a mission, wouldn't it be easier to wear something like a mask?" Tatsumi asked with another thing he is curious about. Sure, Bulat has his armor to prevent those from finding out who he is despite how recognizable his Teigu was.

"Not all of us are a fan of wearing masks, especially they get in the way of glasses," Sheele explained.

"Oh, I forgot about that." Tatsumi suddenly remembered that Sheele couldn't see much without her glasses. "But won't it be better if we still have something else to prevent anyone else to identified us easier?"

"I don't know what to say we're pretty much used to killing anyone who has seen us on our missions," Sheele said.

"Even if it is like that, shouldn't we be more careful with our identity so we don't have to do that? Who knows who we might kill might have families or loved ones?" Tatsumi asked, serious.

"That's…" Sheele was hesitant of speaking up.

She wanted to speak up and defend her fellow assassins' way, but she couldn't find her voice. Sure, she is aware of it and has accepted it for a long time. But they never considered finding a way to change. Even after hearing an account of an angry widow about them.

That's because…

In a bar, the bartender offered a drink to the figure with a cowboy hat. The two might seem normal if weren't for the monstrosities' shadows looming behind them that indicated both of them weren't as they seem to be.

"So it is true that Kiva isn't around?" The cowboy figure asked in an adult male voice.

"That is right," The bartender replied. "My Master says that it is too late to catch up with him. Then again, the chances of him coming back here is very low considering that this nation is on the verge of collapsing."

"If he was here trying to resolve everything, it will lead to him being wiped out by the humans." The cowboy figure snorted, drinking his wine. "Ahh…this is truly a blessing in disguise for us. Not too worried about that blasted Kiva to crush us!"

"I would be careful, there is a rumor about that female general of Capital returning soon." The bartender sternly advised. This made the cowboy figure scowl after hearing that.

"Ugh…I will keep that in mind. I'm not that reckless of facing someone like her without a few of my kinsmen backing up." The cowboy replied before getting up and stretching. "Well, it's time to begin the hunt."

"I wish you luck." The bartender said.

(Night)

"Damn, that Chibul guy had way too much protection." Mine complained.

Mine and Sheele are sprinting through the Capital's parks as they tried to stay out of sight from anyone who might spot them.

"At least, we would be able to get out of there," Sheele said.

"Sheele, are you still troubled by what that idiot said?" Mine asked her friend and teammate. "You already know that there is nothing we can't do about those who were killed by us already."

"I know. It's just…it never crossed our mind…We should be more careful of exposing ourselves in our jobs." Sheele said with guilt.

"I usually stay out of sight since I know that I'd be giving the enemy my location anyway, and don't have to change my clothes." Mine pointed out. Despite being aware of what Tatsumi said, she is more careful when keeping enemies away from her identity. 'Yet, what that idiot said about us hurt…'

"What's done is done. If you feel like this is an issue for you, then you have to be the one who confronts it." she said, making Sheele blink in surprise.

"I see. Thank yo-" Sheele was broken off from her sentence when she and Mine were interrupted by the sound of bullets hitting the air. The two members of Night Raid moved out of the way to put some distance between them and the newcomer. "Is it an enemy!?"

'Who is he…' Mine thought, 'I didn't sense his presence at all…And he doesn't seem to be part of the guards.'

"Wow…Never imagined that I would find members of the so-called Night Raid!" the cowboy man said, holding the wanted poster of Sheele. "After all, it was very easy to find you, assassin wannabes, by the destruction you had caused…Haha…!" His tongue licks his lips, "I wonder how you guys taste after having some much blood on your hands." The man showed the stained glass marks on his face.

"A Fangire, of all places!" Mine cursed at their current predicament. "Sheele, we need to run."

Sheele nodded and held her Extase readily.

"You know that you won't be able to break away from the likes of me, right?" the cowboy remarked. "After I'm done with you two, I won't mind hunting the rest of you lot."

"Then you're willing to hunt us. Fine by me…" Mine said, rotating Pumpkin's barrel so that it can fire in fully automatic. Without warning, Mine opened fire on the Fangire. "Those who make the first move are victorious!" However, Mine and Sheele were surprised how fast the Fangire was when he dodged her volley of bullets; and advanced toward them at incredible speed. "WHAT!?"

Sheele tried to intercept the Fangire, but the Fangire was too fast and sent both of them away with a flying kick.

"H-He is very fast!" Sheele exclaimed in panic.

"Yeah, I can see that…" Mine said with an annoyed huff. "This is going to be tough to run away from."

"Ah, but I'm just barely getting started…" The cowboy main said as his body glowed and changed into his Fangure form. His Fangire appearance is bigger than his human appearance as he has a brown fur coat mixed with rainbow shards over his entire body. His legs are black and gives a nimble-like appearance. The head resembled that of a brown rabbit with golden eyes while there is a sharply diamond-like mane around his neck. This is the Rabbit Fangire. In his hands carved diamond hand sized guns.

"Time to hunt," Rabbit Fangire said, pointing his guns and opening fire on the assassins.

The Mine and Sheele were prepared for this and retreated to a safer distance. This didn't stop the Rabbit Fangire from moving forward as he charged straight at Sheele.

The purple haired assassin used Extase to block the bullets before trying to slice the Fangure that was coming at her. However, the Rabbit Fangure leaped over Extase and shot Sheele behind the back with his guns.

Sheele gasps in pain as the Fangire was sent back by Mine's Pumpkin, making the Fangure land on one knee.

"Sheele! Are you alright!?" Mine questioned with a worried expression, running up to the purple haired woman.

"I-I'll be fine…" Sheele reassured despite blood coming out from her back.

They heard laughing from the Rabbit Fangire who easily got up after being hit by the blast.

"It looks like I am better than the so-called Assassins of Night Raid!" The Rabbit Fangire gloated madly at their predicament.

"You haven't beaten us yet!" Mine argued.

"If you think that Kiva is going to come save your lives, then I'm sad to inform you that he already left the Capital not too long ago!" Rabbit Fangire revealed, making both assassins' eyes widen in shock.

"WHAT DID YOU SAY!?" Mine exclaimed in shock. "What do you mean that monster left!?"

Even Sheele is surprised to hear that Kiva just left despite hearing from Leone and others that he was spotted a few days ago.

"He left since he had no other business in the Capital and gone off elsewhere. That is fortunate for those who won't mind taking advantage of this dying country for themselves now!" The Rabbit Fangire continued. With no Kiva, there is no one going to oppose the Fangire from devouring those living in the corrupted country.

Then all of the time we spend searching for him… was nothing more than a complete waste! Mine gritted her teeth at the revelation. She especially can't believe that everyone wasted their time and effort on searching for someone who simply left of his own will.

Soon she saw the Rabbit Fangire pull his guns as Mine countered with her volley of fire as they collided to create a big explosion.

Mine soon grabbed Sheele by the arm and moved her as far as they could at the moment the explosion occurred.

"Mine, what are we going to do!?" Sheele questioned.

"The only thing we can do until we lose this bastard!" Mine said.

"Do you think that you can lose me that easily?" a familiar voice mocked, making both Mine and Sheele' eyes widen in fear.

The Rabbit Fangire was beside them as he delivered a swift kick that sent both assassins flying. Sheele and Mine cried out in pain as they were seen rolling across the ground hard.

Mine tries to reach for her Pumpkin, but the Rabbit Fangire stomps on her arm and made the pinklette scream hard in pain.

"AAAAAAHHHH!"

"Ah…the sound of your scream, it will make your soul more delicious." Rabbit Fangire said, licking his lips in excitement.

"MINE!" Sheele exclaimed in shock. She tried to get herself up, but her lower body struggled to move up due to her injury. 'Move! Move! I need to save Mine! Or buy enough time for her to get away from the Fangire!'

Mine couldn't move from where she was as she felt like the bone of her arm began to crack due to how deep the Fangire crushed her arm.

"Get away from my friend!" Sheele screamed with everything that she got with her Extase and runs at the Rabbit Fangire. The giant scissors suddenly began to glow with blinding light. "Ecstasy!"

"AHHH! It is so bright!" Rabbit Fangire yelled, raising his hand to block the intense light.

"It is the end for you!" Sheele shouted, as she went for the stabbed her scissors at Rabbit Fangire. At the last moment, the Rabbit Fangire moved out of the way and delivered a roundhouse kick behind Sheele's injured back as the sound of her bone crack can be heard.

Mine regain her vision and her eyes widen in horror to see Sheele on the ground. 'No! No! No! No! NOOOO!' Off to the side, an amusing Rabbit Fangire chuckled and pulled Sheele up by her hair.

"L-Let her go…!" Mine said.

"You had nothing over me to make such demands!" The Rabbit Fangire said, pulling one of his guns in Sheele's back and fired the trigger. "If you hadn't treated Kiva as a threat, this won't happened in the first place. So you guys are the ones at fault!"

Sheele screamed in pain from the bullets being shots behind her by the Rabbit Fangire, who laughed at the despair that shown on Mine's face.

"S-STOP IT!" Mine screamed as she listend to the bullets that fired at Sheele's back. She struggled to get herself up, but her crippled arm won't be able to help her up despite how much she wanted to get up. 'Why? Why? Why does this have to happen to us!?'

"Hahahaha! This is the Night Raid feared by the Capital? The same one that was sent to end death of many, either man or woman, old or young, innocent or guilty! Is now begging for her friend's pathetic life! Hahahahaha! Oh, this is rich!" Rabbit Fangire didn't wait to see what Mine going to do. He keep firing bullets after bullets at Sheele's waist as the sound of her screams filled the air. "Yes, scream! Scream for me! Scream for this pathetic capital to heard! Let them know that the Night Raids are nothing more than mere—"

The Rabbit Fangire was about to continued further before a small, silver object zoom and hits him, make him dropped Sheele onto the ground.

"Who dares!?" Rabbit Fangire growls at the new interruption.

"Sorry for being late. Mine. Sheele." A male voice said as a tall figure in a gray hooded cloak.

"That's…" Mine whispered in recognition.

"Who in the world are you!?" Rabbit Fangire demands.

"Then why don't we show you…?" The gray hooded man said, "Sagarak."

Coming to his side was a strange silver creature that could only be described as a UFO with eyes and fangs smashed into the Rabbit Fangire and knocked him upside down. The creature had a spinning plate on top of its head. It flew towards the gray hooded man. It then planted itself on his waist, a black strap stretching from the sides to fasten around him as a belt form. The plate on the creature's head spun. It was facing upward too.

The Rabbit Fangire's eyes couldn't any widen as he saw the creature and have some recognition of it.

"That's…" Rabbit Fangire whispered in shock.

"Henshin," said the hooded man as he pulled out a strange white handle that looked like a key/flute and inserted it into a slot in the right side of Sagark's head. He pulled the swifter out.

"HENSHIN!" Sagark spoke as the plate spun rapidly. The hooded man, like Raiga, became covered in quicksilver, and then the layer shatter to reveal him in black and silver armor. He wore a full bodysuit with silver bracelets on his ankles and on his wrists which stretched over his forearms. His shoulders had spikes on them that jutted upwards. On his chest was a stained glass flower pattern. His helmet had blue eyes that resembled Kiva's but there was a snake's head in between the two eyes. The helmet also had a crown on top. The key flute in his hand, the Jacorder, had a thin red blade extending from it now. This is none other than Kamen Rider Saga.

"Where did you get that armor!?" Rabbit Fangire growls.

"Why don't you come at me and find out?" Saga offered with a mocking salute.

The Rabbit Fangire got his guns and fired them at Saga. Saga used the Jacorder to deflect the bullets before moving out of the way to dodge the incoming fists.

He then moved to the side and deliver a couple of thrusts on the Fangire's back as the Rabbit Fangire was sent flying away.

But the Fangire got back up and turned into a blur and moving fast for anyone to anticipate his movement. Saga didn't react as he careful watched the Fangire's movement until he swing his Jacorder forward. At that moment, the Jacorder's thin blade extended forward like a whip and snatch the Fangire's left leg, causing the Fangire to stumble and collapse to the ground.

Saga wasn't done with him yet as he swing his Jacorder with the Rabbit Fangire around as the Fangire was sent crushed against a couple of trees.

"Do you want to talk now?" Saga offered, approaching the Fangire.

"Bullshit! I will never bow down to the like of you!" Rabbit Fangire struggled to get up from the ground.

"…" Saga took out a white Fuestle with a blue wave pattern on it before putting it in Sagark's mouth.

"WAKE UP!"

Saga withdrew the Fuestle. He then inserted the end of his Jacorder into Sagark's slot before swiftly drawing it back out, the charge up complete as Sagark's head plate spinning.

A blue crescent moon floated in the air. Saga stood up like a fencer with his Jacorder in front of him and his other hand behind him. He then thrust it forward, the blade find it's way into the heart of Rabbit Fangire. A bright red symbol appeared in the sky. It was Kiva's emblem. Saga jumped up and through the emblem before coming back down from a different part of it. He landed on the ground as the Rabbit Fangire was pulled up by the whip, struggling. Saga gripped the Jacorder tightly and said, "For harming my beloved and my friend, I see you executed to death."

"AAAAHH!" The Fangire screamed in pain before Saga pulled the Jacorder harder and shattered the Fangire's entire body completely.

The energy orb that remained within the Fangire flew up into the air and went off elsewhere. Saga turned around and see Mine with unconscious Sheele.

"Are you two alright?" Saga asked, making his way toward the two assassins.

"Yeah, though I can't fire with my arm for a while…" Mine responds. "How come you didn't tell us that you were coming back?"

Saga chuckled.

"I did want it to be a surprise at first, but I'm glad that I made it in time." He gently stroked Sheele's cheek with his glove black hand.

"Y-You're back… I missed you…" Sheele whispered in very low tone.

"Don't worry, Sheele. We will get you back home safely." Saga said.

(Night Raid Base)

"The doctor said that Sheele is going to be out after losing that much blood, though the damage on her waist is sever…" Najenda said sternly. "I never imagined that you would come back Ruild Baltimore."

Standing next to the Night Raid members was a young man with long gray hair that was tied into a ponytail with mint green eyes, and pale skin. No longer wearing his gray cloak in place of a white-collared shirt with a gray vest, black pants, and black shoes.

The mysterious creature known as Sagark is hovering beside his partner.

"The Revolutionary Army thought it might be better for me to return and deal with the Fangure, but…it looks like I missed my chance meeting with the infamous Kiva," Ruild answers politely. "But I'm relieved that everyone survived the ordeal while I was away." He gave a warm smile.

"Damn! All those time were completely wasted!" Leone cursed.

"It's good to have you back on board, Ruild," Bulat said with a smile. Lubbock nodded.

"I heard that we have a recruit, but I don't see him here," Ruild said as everyone become silent. "Is he on a mission or something?"

"He is under house arrest for allowing Kiva to escape," Najenda answered coldly.

"Is that so? Why did he do it?" asked Ruild curious. Sagark give a tilted swing as he was curious as to his partner about the new situation.

"We think that Kiva might have blackmailed Tatsumi since he has his childhood friend," Najenda said.

"Though we planned on rescuing his friend if we find out where Kiva's hideout, but we failed," Akame added.

"Ah, I get the gist." Ruild acknowledged. "I can't wait to meet him soon."

"Why in the world did you want to meet him? He could backstab you!" Mine said. But she is more worried if something bad happens to Ruild which will be made Sheele worried.

"Even so, I want to talk with him."

"Also, you had to leave Sheele's Extase behind?" Asked Najenda with a narrow expression.

"With both of Mine and Sheele's injury, we had no choice with how close the Imperial soldiers were. If I had fought them there, more would only arrive." Ruild said.

"I don't blame you…we will get it back eventually," Najenda said with a nod. "With Kiva gone, more Fangires might appear in the Capital and make our mission more difficult."

"I'm certain that we can overcome the obstacles ahead of us…" Ruild said.

To be continued…

AN: That is the end of this chapter. This chapter dealt with Tatsumi's action that have an impact on the Night Raid and introduced of Ruild/Saga's official appearance into the story. He is created by my friend Unicorn 359. More of his character will be revealed in the future chapters so you have to wait and see.

And Sheele's survival in this chapter will be something controversial issue in most AKG fics where many seem to not be able to decided on what to do with her afterward. I hadn't planned completely but one thing you need to know that Sheele won't be able fight in the front line with her friends at any time of the future.

That is all I want to say here. And also to my viewers… Happy New Year!

EDIT 1/9: I decided on changing the brutal cripple of Sheele because someone says that my way of doing thing is way too 'tame' and it won't be enough to caused suffering for Sheele.
