Toa Solaric: Welcome back to another chapter of Kiva: Dark Moon Over Bloody Sky. I don't own either Kamen Rider Kiva or Akame Ga Kill. The only things that I own are the OCs that are used for this fic. Here is a chapter be more Night Raid focused.

Kiva: Dark Moon Over Bloody Sky

Wake 13: Doubts of Crippled

"So Saga is responsible for taking out my hunter…"

In the same building are the four masked men, conducting a meeting. They were currently going over the recent information that they gathered about who was responsible for the killing when Kiva wasn't present this time.

As for how they know, they all know the mark of a certain armor created in the air itself when Bishop left instructions to them.

And they know the significant history behind that certain armor before it was stolen.

They might not be able to track Kiva, though they have another target for them to settle at the moment.

"That Baltimore…you don't suppose that he survived, right?" asked one of the masked individuals in a gruff tone.

"According to reports, his soul orb was locked away by witnesses of Bishop upon his execution in that human's so-called Empire.

The idea that he revived himself is utterly preposterous." The one in the blue mask recalled. "On the other hand, he never gave any indication about the whereabouts of Sagark…"

"Meaning that he entrusted it to someone. Someone that he knows." the red mask said with emphasis.

There isn't much for them to narrow down the suspects behind the armor of Saga. But there is one thing that is true about the requirement to wear the armor is that they must have Mazoku blood within them.

This also raises complication for them if word about this gets back to the Fangire Kingdom. That a rouge Saga is spotted out here and not there…will make things difficult for Checkmate Five.

"Should we send word to Bishop about this?" The green mask asked.

"Already ahead of you." The red mask began to write a letter at the moment.

"Meanwhile, let us find out more about who this traitor behind the suit. They might have connections with the so-called Night Raid." The black mask pointed out that the new Saga helped the Night Raid to escape.

"If he turns out to be a traitor to our kin and refuses our demands, then we know what we must do." The black mask individual continued.

The other figures nodded in agreement with the upcoming goal in mind.

It was night, but Akame was sitting alone in the kitchen after retrieving something from the fridge to eat. This is something the red-eyed assassin does whenever she wants to be alone.

Despite being the most stoic and prepared of the assassins among Night Raid, there was one thing that she never will be able to overcome. And that is the possibility of losing one of their own.

Sheele almost lost her life tonight due to being encountered by a Fangire that came into the Capital. She never thought that she would see another of those creatures that appeared in the Capital once again.

Though Mine is fine despite having to wear a cast for one of her arms, Sheele…suffered much in the waist that the doctor believed she won't be able to fight in the frontline once again. If it wasn't for the fortunate of an old friend arriving, they weren't likely to find out about their death despite how much Akame wanted to be denied.

But…

Akame knows how much Sheele loved being on the frontlines with everyone since it is where her talents as assassins would shine the most. But the devastation of this incident, taking her talent away will truly let a hard blow on the group itself.

Even though Akame wants to be relieved that Sheele is alive, she can't find herself being relieved.

Tatsumi is currently glancing out at the large moon from the window of his room. It wasn't that long since he has eaten his dinner as the young man seemed kind of content.

Until he hears the door knocking as the young man glanced from the side.

"Who is it?" asked Tatsumi.

"Hey, Tatsumi," Bulat's voice spoke, "I hope you don't mind, but there is someone that recently came back to the base and he says he wants to meet you in person."

"I see…" Tatsumi hummed. "What do they want to talk about?" He wondered in curiosity…and concern.

Suddenly the door of his room was forcefully slammed open after it was kicked hard by Ruild himself. Both Bulat and Tatsumi are surprised by the blunt action that happened right in front of them.

"Let me take it from here, Bulat. You can leave now." Ruild stated, looking down at Tatsumi who was sitting in his chair.

"Ruild-"

"I know, Bulat. Don't worry, I have no intention of ending him, or I would have done it from the start. If he pulled anything, my friend would take care of that." the gray haired man interjected, crossing his arms.

'Ruild…he couldn't probably be…' Tatsumi ponders about the name he just heard and what Sheele had told him before.

The two members of Night Raid stared at each other for a few seconds before Bulat nodded and leaves through the hallway. Now leaving Ruild alone with Tatsumi at the moment.

"So you are the one who has the guts to burst some balls when helping the one who has been causing trouble for Leone and the others? I was expecting some tough guy, but I never imagined a country bumpkin to do it." Ruild asked with a smug expression.

Najenda told him that Kiva is a dangerous threat to the Revolutionary Army's goal. Kiva brutally beaten almost every Assassin of

Night Raid and cannot be allowed him to joined the Empire. That is why Revolutionary Army had him go back to Night Raid in order to stop Kiva.

"Cut the chat. What are you after?" asked Tatsumi. There is no way that someone like him is simply here to chat without a good reason due to his actions.

Not to mention that he can tell that Ruild isn't easy to be knocked out while there are no signs of weapons on him.

Ruild chuckled a bit before coming toward him.

"Oh really? I thought we should start with something simple, since you have been under house arrest and likely being roughed up a bit by the others." Ruild bemused arrogantly. "But if you insist, how about telling me about this Kiva?" he got to the point.

'So that is what he is after…' Tatsumi understood the objective of this conversation. "If it's about his abilities, then go ask others," The young man stated nonchalantly.

"I mean personally." Ruild clarified. "I wish to know your thoughts about him."

"There isn't much since Raiga is reserved," Tatsumi said with a deadpanned expression. "He has his personal goals and things that I don't know."

"If you insist. Sagark." Ruild said before the mysterious UFO-like creature hovers around them in Tatsumi's room.

"W-What in the world is that thing!?" Tatsumi gasped as Sagark latched onto Ruild's waist and a black belt formed around him.

"Henshin," Ruild said placing the Jacorder into Sagark.

"HENSHIN!" Sagark repeated before the top of his head spun and covered Ruild in his armor.

"What are you…?" Tatsumi asked in shock. He can't help but be surprised at the individual right in front of him. 'He's just like…Raiga.' he mentally added.

The young man was surprised there is another armored individual like Kiva and IXA. Well, there was Bro but he never expected to see another one in the Night Raid base.

"This is my partner Sagark. In this form, I am known as Saga." Saga introduced himself. "Is that enough reason for you, Tatsumi?"

"What are you going to do? He's no longer in the Capital!" Tatsumi pointed out.

"That doesn't mean I won't stop. At long last, I finally found a worthy challenge for myself regardless of if he is or not in the Capital." Saga said.

(Next day)

There was the sound of sobbing in the medical room.

The one who was sobbing at the moment was none other than Sheele herself. She had regained consciousness after resting in the medical bed.

"Yo, Sheele." A familiar voice greeted, as Sheele turned and sees Ruild coming into the medical room to check on her.

"Rudy…I'm sorry that you had to see me like this," Sheele whispered despite having tears coming down her eyes. "I must be pathetic."

"You aren't pathetic. Life isn't that fair for everyone." Ruild said, sitting down next to her bed regardless if she permit him or not.

"What's the matter?" he asked, looking directly at the purple haired woman who tried to avoid his gaze. "I'm not going to leave until you tell me what's troubling you."

"I'm sorry, Rudy. I'm sorry for being a worthless girlfriend…for breaking my promise to you," Sheele apologized, not looking at him directly. "I thought…I thought that we could get out of there. But the enemy was stronger and faster than we anticipated. We never had any hope of getting away from him, I didn't want you to see how helpless I was when you come to rescue us…" The memory of that brutal experience at the hand of the Rabbit Fangire still lingered in her mind.

Soon she felt a pair of arms wrapped around her and pulls her closer to Ruild who wasn't furious at what she said.

"Don't worry, it's not your fault. Even though I did worry if I would ever see you or the others again." Ruild whispered, holding the sobbing form of his girlfriend and making sure that she doesn't leave his embrace. "Now that I'm back, I'm not going to leave you this time."

Sheele sniffed as she continues to cry. "But…there will be times that you might have to leave and never—"

"I will never say goodbye to you," Ruild interjected, smiling. "Even though every one of us is ready to die because of the blood on our hands." Sheele knows that was true as every one of them is committed to their mission to rid the corruption in the Capital.

"B-But…what am I supposed to do by then?" Sheele quietly asked. She can't stay back in the base while everyone, including her Ruild, is going out there despite knowing that this is what they signed up for.

"Maybe it's time to help you fix those clumsy habits of yours that you still struggle with. Since you now have a lot of time not being on the frontlines." Ruild suggested, making Sheele blush.

"I…I don't know if I can…" Sheele said quietly and awkwardly.

"Oh come, I know you can do it," Ruild responded, rubbing her back to console her.

Unknown to them, Mine was watching the two from the crack behind the closed door. She was originally worried about how Sheele would take on her injury but she is relieved that Ruild had taken care of that and was the shoulder that Sheele cried upon.

But at the same time, Mine can't help feeling useless. That Rabbit Fangire was the most annoying thing that they ever crossed paths with; she wasn't able to keep up with the speed to use Pumpkin against him.

'I have to get better…!' Mine thought seriously. Not to mention that they need to reclaim Sheele's Teigu back after being forced to leave it behind.

Lubbock returned to his bookstore. It wasn't that long since he and Leone tried to find out about what happened to Sheele's Extase. But it turns out to be futile search as word already spread that the Imperial soldiers had already taken Sheele's Teigu from where Ruild and Mine claimed where it was.

Not to mention that he noticed the Imperial soldiers collected the glass fragments of the fallen Fangire that Ruild possibly killed in that fight.

But Lubbock didn't stay too long without gaining unwanted attention. With the presence of the Fangire attacks, the Imperial guards are on more patrol than before.

'No doubt that the Imperial Army found someone to use it…' Lubbock thought. No doubt that Sheele is going to be upset by the chance of learning that her beloved Teigu is going to be used by the Empire itself.

A couple of hours had passed as Ruild is currently seen accompanied by Sheele, who has to sit in a wheelchair. Even though Sheele reluctantly refused the offer, Ruild managed to persuade her to come out of her room rather than being cooped up inside.

The first one they come across was their boss who wants an update about Sheele's mental state.

"Very well. At least with you, Sheele will be able to handle things from here." Najenda said. Though she did have some thoughts about having Ruild go on missions after his return. She will hold them off to see how Sheele handles things.

If anyone who can help watch over Sheele it would be closest with her.

"It's nothing, Boss. I don't want to leave her high and dry after what happened." Ruild said. Sheele nodded in gratitude before they head out of the meeting room.

In the Capital of the Empire, a man with a blue mask walks through a warehouse and snatches a certain soul orb of Fangire that was recently destroyed by Saga.

"I'm relieved that you cows volunteered to come here," The blue masked man remarked. "It makes it easier to find resources."

Behind him were imperial soldiers that were trying to keep their presence hidden before he noticed them. The blue masked man summoned two energy fangs to drain the first soldier, making the rest look shocked.

"Who says that I allowed the rest of you to leave?" The imperial soldiers tried to escape but they were completely knocked down hard as their life vanished before their eyes.

With their life energy within his grasp, he soon focused on them and the Soul orb of his fallen kin as they gave solid and shape formed before his eyes.

Soon the Rabbit Fangire stands in front of him, but he appeared more feral as the Fangire let out an animalistic growl into the air.

"S-SAAAGGA!" The Rabbit Fangire screams furiously into the air.

"Yes. Go and find the one who slaughtered you, my hunter." The blue masked man said with a devious grin behind his mask.

Ruild and Sheele are seen sitting together in a meadow field that was near the Night Raid base. It was one of the few peaceful places where they don't have to worry about exposing their hideout.

But that wasn't the only reason why Ruild choose this place as a memory appeared in his mind.

(Flashback)

Sagark was seen hovering in the air as Ruild and Sheele, who wasn't crippled at the time, having a picnic together. The two are smiling together and holding hands.

(Present)

"Sheele, how do you feel?" asked Ruild, sitting on a nearby boulder.

"It's a nice view…" Sheele responds, looking at the meadow. She knows this place since it was where she and Ruild would sometime venture off when they finished their missions. "To be honest…with how many missions we had, we hardly have time to relax here." She recalled.

"We can make up for lost time." Ruild said warmly.

Unlike Ruild who feels positive about spending time with her and the others again, Sheele has a distant and slightly pained look on her face.

"Yeah…" Sheele whispered. She tried to hold back the urge to cry from the loss of her ability to fight in front of Ruild. The former assassin couldn't help but feel so helpless now. She could no longer walk and lost her Teigu in battle. She'd no longer be able to help and participate in missions like before. "It is still shocking. But…why am I the one?" she wondered quietly.

Out of those who tried to fight for the Revolution Army, it had to be her who recently became crippled and lost her Teigu. Everyone pours in their blood and sweat trying to bring down the corruption of the Empire—the very idea of leaving the war behind was unreal.

"Says who? Not me, that's for sure. Even if you think that you might be unworthy of the chance, you're the reason why this place always feels like a home to me." Ruild said, placing his hand on her shoulder.

"B-But shouldn't someone else deserve the freedom of leaving the war? Someone else like…" Sheele tried to refute before Ruild places a finger on her lip to stop her from speaking.

"If you are going to keep refusing, I will keep telling you that you deserve the chance. It's because you are the only woman that I'd ever love, Sheele." Ruild said smiling.

This made Sheele look aside when hearing the words that made her heart pound.

"So Rudy, you didn't happen to meet any women who catch your attention while you are away?" Sheele asked, hesitantly. This made Ruild blinks.

"Not really. Sagark and I have to keep a very low profile after our camp was attacked." Ruild said quietly.

"I'm sorry to hear that," Sheele said, regaining some of her composition.

"It's alright," Ruild said, smiling.

It wasn't long until Sagark made his way toward the two especially right in front of Ruild.

"Rjdjhjkfkfkfsffhdsk, Ruild." Sagark said in his unique language that only Ruild seems to be able to understand.

"It looks like it is about lunchtime." Ruild translated for Sheele to understand.

"Thank you for letting us know, Sagark," Sheele said, placing a hand over the UFO creature's head and petting it gently.

One thing that is still a mystery was Ruild being the only one who can understand what Sagark saying despite that every Night Raid member were lost trying to figure out the strange language.

Bulat soon went into Tatsumi's room to give him his lunch before going to the jobs that he will be attending.

Tatsumi is currently seen sitting on his bed while reading a book in his hands. He did slightly glance at the door where Bulat come into his room and brought him his lunch.

Bulat is slightly surprised by how calm Tatsumi is after what happened last night when Ruild comes to see him.

"So Tatsumi," Bulat placed the food tray on the table nearby. "Why?"

"Why what?" The young man asked.

"Why didn't you accept the offer from Ruild to be released from house arrest?" asked Bulat. He knew that Ruild was trying to gain more information about Raiga from Tatsumi since Tatsumi traveled with Raiga to the Capital.

"What is there to tell him?" Tatsumi remarked dryly as he thought back to what happened last night.

(Flashback- Last Night)

Tatsumi was surprised by Ruild's transformation as Saga before letting out a small sigh.

"I'm sorry, but I can't give you the answers you seek," Tatsumi answered calmly.

"Is it because of your loyalty towards him after he saved your friend?" Saga retorted.

"Part of that. But I think it will be useless to ask me since Raiga and I are going on our path." Tatsumi retorted.

"But what if I vouched for Boss to allow you out from your house arrest?" Saga asked.

"Even if you ask something like that, I can't give you any answers. The chances of me knowing where Raiga had gone after Leone kidnapped me, is next to none." Tatsumi said dryly, making the silver Rider stare at him intently.

"Look, I know that Leone tends to make mistakes—" Soon Tatsumi stands up before staring hard at Saga's helmet.

"And she suggested that my friend, who has PTSD, fight in this bloody conflict? Someone who no longer had the strength to stay in this corrupted country any longer!" Tatsumi interjected coldly. "I may understand it might be needed, but forcing someone who suffered in a bloody conflict that they weren't able to recover?! They're a bloody hypocrite!"

"You think that she is the only one who suffered? Sheele wasn't able to walk after the recent mission!" Saga countered seriously.

"Even so, she had you and everyone here by her side while I wasn't able to make amendments with my friend Sayo. I wasn't able to stay by her side like you with Sheele." Tatsumi retorted. It is a bit shocking to hear what happened to Sheele, but Tatsumi still held resentment toward Night Raid for separating him from Sayo.

(Present)

Tatsumi might seem to be unsympathized about what happened to Sheele after almost getting choked by Saga before Bulat broke it up. But Tatsumi is relieved to know that she'll recover from Bulat.

"The chance of me knowing Raiga already went past after I was brought to Night Raid," Tatsumi said simply.

"I'm sorry about that. Ruild might be harsh, but he does care about those around him." Bulat said, looking at Tatsumi.

"Really? Was he someone who got kidnapped into the group?" Tatsumi asked dryly, knowing how brutal and insane Night Raid's recruitment was.

"No, he was founded by Boss and she took him under her wing," Bulat answered.

After Ruild and Sheele returned to the base for lunch, Najenda gave a brief announcement from the message Lubbock had given.

"It looks like the Imperial soldiers already seized Extase." Najenda looked over at the message note that was in her hand.

Ruild clasps Sheele's hand as the young man can feel the tremor that his girlfriend was causing.

"I see…" Sheele said, looking depressed from the news. She was prepared to hear something like this when she survived her encounter with the Rabbit Fangire, but it was still hard for her to deal that she won't be able to use her Teigu again.

"I suppose they will give it someone who might at our level." Mine stated bluntly. Even though Sheele is upset, it won't do much with the Empire finding a suitable user for Extase.

"But we will get it back someday, Sheele." Akame reassured, knowing that her friend is still depressed about her crippled condition.

"…" Sheele didn't say anything with an uncertain expression.

"By the way, Ruild," Najenda started. "…how are you handling things with Tatsumi?" she asked, aware that Ruild contacted Tatsumi.

"It was fine," Ruild answered calmly as possible. He probably doesn't blame Tatsumi for holding a grudge against Night Raid after what happened. And none of Night Raid can be related to PTSD.

"I bet that idiot won't spill any beans about that monster." Mine sneered, unaware that Ruild glanced at her.

"There is one thing that I was wondering from the reports…" Ruild stated professionally and calmly. "Why did it take you all this long to consider taking his friend from the Doctor's house?" he questioned in a neutral tone.

This is met with complete silence and awkwardness from those who are present at the table.

"If you wanted to reassure Tatsumi, you should have made it back with his friend and let her stay with him. But you didn't, and this ended up happening." Ruild said. "I find it hard to believe that Night Raid took this long to realize it."

"T-That…" Mine tried to find a way to defend her teammates…but that question simply digs deeply. Why didn't they take Tatsumi's friend with them back to the base?

"I won't deny your claim. But he was far too dangerous to be in the Capital that might threaten everything we had been fighting for." Najenda glares back at Ruild.

"Then tell me, why didn't you go to assassinate Honest while the Capital was under siege by two giant Danger Beasts? From the report, everyone seems to be heavily distracted. Won't that be a perfect opportunity to end the head responsible for the corruption? It is not logical why no one takes the opportunity to seize that moment?" Ruild asked, making everyone freeze with shocked expressions.

"It's not the right time yet," Najenda said stoically.

"When is it going to be the time? When is it ever going to be the right time?" asked Ruild, stern.

The two glared at each other intensely before the sound of a window shattering can be heard from the base at the very moment.

"An Intruder now!?" Mine exclaimed in shock.

"Impossible…" Najenda cursed at the very moment. Sure, their security that was designed by Lubbock is efficient but with Lubbock looking into things in Capital. But if someone was able to perceive their traps must be very dangerous.

"Mine, look after Sheele!" Ruild said, getting up from his seat and running ahead with Akame who followed alongside him.

"Rudy, wait!" Sheele tries to reach out to Ruild with her hand…but Ruild was already out of her grasp.

(In the hallway)

Ruild and Akame make their way across the hallway in their base to confront the intruder. As they rounded the corner, they dodged a barrage of bullets that made quite an explosion and made Akame cover her eyes to avoid the shrapnel.

"It can't be…I'm sure that I destroyed you!" Ruild shouted. Akame quickly brought her arms down, her eyes widening in shock and disbelief.

It was the Rabbit Fangire. The same Rabbit Fangire that Ruild believed to be destroyed after the Fangire crippled Sheele from fighting as an assassin again. But there seems to be something completely different about the Fangire at the same time. When the Rabbit Fangire spot both Ruild and Akame, it let out a shrill cry of fury before launching forward at them.

Both Akame and Ruild leap out of the way when the Rabbit Fangire hits a wall with a fist. Ruild got out his Jacorder in his left hand.

"Sagark!" Ruild shouts as his UFO-like companion makes his way toward his partner.

The Rabbit Fangire tried to run at him but Sagarak tackled him away. He then planted himself on his waist, a black strap stretching from the sides to fasten around him as a belt form. The plate on the creature's head spun. It was facing upward too.

"Henshin," said Ruild as the Jarcorder was inserted into the slot on the right side of Sagark's head. He pulled the swifter out.

"HENSHIN!" Sagark spoke as the plate spun rapidly. Ruild became covered in quicksilver, and then the layer shatter to reveal him in the black and silver armor of Saga.

Saga looks at the revived Fangire moving toward him. "Akame, stand back. This Fangire is too agile on his feet and it was a reason why Mine and Sheele were caught off-guard." He said before swinging his Jacorder forward at the revived Fangire.

Unknown to Saga, Sheele showed up with Mine following her friend, who just moved her wheelchair far as she could to find Ruild and Akame. When Sheele's eyes laid upon the Rabbit Fangire, she stopped and was completely frozen in horror.

"T-That…" Sheele trembled at the sight of the one who crippled her and being in one place that she considered home. The Sheep

Fangire would be the third thing that scared her before death and Kiva Garulu Form.

"What the hell!?" Mine exclaimed in complete shock at the sight of the Rabbit Fangire. Wasn't that Fangire already been killed?

The Rabbit Fangire was caught by the neck as Saga make a run to the breaking window that the Fangire broke in from. Taking the Fangire with him, Saga swings the Jacorder forward and used the Rabbit Fangire as a landing pad to ease his fall from the ground.

The Rabbit Fangire kicked him off and tried to land several shots with his gun. But Saga calmly slashed with his Jacorder to destroy every bullet in sight.

"I don't know how you are back, but I will put you down again!" he said before placing the Wake Up Fuestle into Sagark's mouth.

"WAKE UP!" Sagark cried.

Saga swiftly withdrew the Fuestle as he inserted the end of his Jacorder into Sagark's slot, the plate on his partner's head spinning as his weapon charged up. Holding the Jacorder straight up in front of him, he stood up straight with one arm behind his back.

The sky darkened, turning day into night with a glowing blue crescent moon hanging in the sky.

Kiva's emblem appeared in the air and Saga jumped up and vanished through it before coming back down from another part of the emblem with his Jacorder grapple tightly. He hung the revived Fangire up with the Jacorder and gave a tug, cracking the Fangire's body with crimson energy until it exploded once again. Once again, the soul orb flow out of the body and ventured toward the sky once again.

"…" Saga silence stares at the soul orb that hovers out of the destruction before its mysterious vanishes out of thin air. He soon turned back as he made his way back to the Night Raid base.

Back in the mansion, the four masked men having another meeting at the moment.

"It is cunning of you for reviving your hunter to track the whereabouts of Saga and the possible traitor." The black masked man remarked in surprise.

"It's a necessary sacrifice to make to confirm the location," The blue masked man said. "Unlike Kiva…Saga had no way of holding back our kinsmen from being revived."

"Should we let Bishop know about the location?" asked the green masked man.

"No, there is a small chance of Saga might switch location if he is smart enough to figure out what's going on. If Saga is truly a threat, we will inform Bishop ourselves." The blue masked man said.

"I guess that I can go with that as long as our hunger is satisfied." The red masked man said with a wicked grin behind his mask.

(Night Raid's Base- Night)

Sheele is looking out the patch-up window with a distant expression on her face. It wasn't that long since Ruild and Bulat worked on patching up the place where the Rabbit Fangire broke in from.

Although everyone seems to be relieved that they are safe, Sheele was the exception as her feelings were opposed.

She is deeply in thought about Ruild charging forward into the fight against the Rabbit Fangire. The reappearance of the Fangire shocks her to the complete core. As the memories of how she and Mine were endangered before her life was crippled by the Fangire flashed through her mind during the process.

"Sheele, is everything alright?" Asked a familiar voice with a hand placed on her shoulder.

"Rudy," Sheele trembled. "He was… He was…"

"I know, I know," Ruild spoke softly as he hugged his girlfriend close. Sheele couldn't even get the words as she broke down in tears. This is just like before in the medical room where she expressed her fears upon learning the revelation about her condition.

She clutched Ruild's arms tightly as she bawled. The monster who broke her come back once again and tried to take something from her, she was forced to watch from afar.

"He was the one who broke me…" Sheele recalled the very night when she lost the ability to move her legs before sobbing uncontrollably.

'No matter how many times he revived, I will crush him before ruining our lives again…' Ruild thought as he stayed where he was and held Sheele in his arms.

"It's okay, you don't have anything to fear of. I'm not upset with you."

Sheele sniffled again as she clutched Ruild tightly. Even though he still want to be with her, she was afraid that he might move on after what she said back then. Having him by her side filled her with relief.

To be continued…

AN: That is the end of this chapter with more focus on the aftermath of the previous chapter. What do you think of the reactions of how Sheele handling her crippled state? Although there was limit on the interaction between Ruild and other members of Night Raid especially Tatsumi, but the attention is mostly heavily focused on Sheele handling the reality that she have to accepted. If you were wondering when we going back to see how Raiga and his co doing, there might be another chapter focused on the aftermath, especially that of a certain ice general.

And also Fangires reviving their own? Bishop did for the King in the canon Kiva, so I don't see why none other Fangires being able to do it. With Raiga is not around the Capital, the Fangire can revived their fallen kinsmen as long as they keep in touch with the soul orb of the Fangire and life energy needed for the process.

That is all I want to say here.
